I don't want to hurt the UsuiXMisaki fans out there, but I want to try and see if Misaki Ayuzawa is capable to be a StarForce member, and have Tendou in Usui's place.

Chapter 12: Open House / Metal Shark Player
Seika High
The Moron Trio stood in front of the board with blank looks on their faces.
"Open House notice?" Sarashina spoke, reading the notification.
"It's that thing, right? Where the campus opens for the seniors in junior high." Ryuunosuke asked.
Behind them, a horde of male students roared energetically in their sports gear: boxing, kendo, baseball, volleyball, soccer, ping pong, and more.
"MUST GET NEW MEMBERS! !"
"RECRUITMENT STARTS TOMORROW! !"
"FIND THE NEW ACE! !"
"It happens on the weekend, and showing off the clubs is the main point, so it's got nothing to do with us." Shirokawa pointed.
"No, I heard they'll do more than just showing off the clubs." Sarashina corrected his friend.
The three lowered their heads and saw a cafeteria staff sign at the bottom of the notification.
"Wow! Cafeteria stuff! ? Cool!" Sakura exclaimed in excitement with a paper in her hand, given by Misaki.
"It looks like you'll be doing various things this year." Shizuko noticed.
"I want to make a cute cafeteria in the middle of the tour course as a rest. And I want to make it an environment where even the middle school students can blend in." Misaki explained to the girls, "I know the preparation for it will be hard work, but could you girls help out? I need assistance." she asked them.
"Of course!"
"Sure thing!"
"We'll ask the other girls, too!"
"Arigato (Thank you)!" Misaki smiled at their agreement.
"I can't wait to see the junior high students come!"
"How should we decorate?" Sakura asked.
"We need to consider the budget, too." Shizuko answered thoughtfully.
"Oh, don't worry about that. Tendou will help us carry the supplies." Misaki replied as her face turned dark with a smile, holding a rope in her right hand, "And, I'm sure you'll need someone to do the heavy work, and can't expect much help from the guys. So use him." she yanked the rope hard, pulling out a certain tied-up spiky dark blue-black hair from the bush with a shriek. "He's Kanou Sotarou, a freshman! Due to a certain reason, he's the student council's assistant." she introduced happily with a dark aura around her.
Kanou couldn't believe he was surrounded by a group of girls. Sweating heavily, he felt uneasy just by looking at them.
"Hi, Kanou!"
"You always have a hood on, don't you?"
"So you were a freshman."
"Nice to meet you, Kanou!"
"Okay, so let's go gather people up."
Tendou smiled at the scene from the window. "I think this is the best punishment for him. Still... I wanna know why he doesn't like girls." he said, then heard something unusual at the hallway as he quickly turned. He narrowed his eyes in suspicious and strolled the hallway to find out what it was.
Later
Kanou knelt in front of the entrance as Yukimura approached him from behind.
"Kanou, I don't really understand the situation, but if you help out as part of the cafeteria staff, Kaichou says she'll forgive you." the short dark green-haired notified him timidly, "Oh, by the way, I'm Yukimura, the vice president." he greeted, but Kanou quickly dashed off.
Out of nowhere, Misaki popped out of the bush with an ominous aura around her and glowing purple eyes as Kanou quickly backed away from her.
In the cafeteria
Kanou sat against the wall and tried to think of a way to escape.
"Kanou, can you help carry these boxes?" Yukimura requested with a box in his hands.
The spiky dark blue-black-haired quickly avoided and dashed to the window, but immediately stopped. Misaki appeared at the window with her menacing stare. He turned the other way and escaped to the hallway, but she appeared at the corner. Next, she appeared from under the table, and then she was on top of the vending machine, and then popped her head from the trash can.
Each and every time, he shrieked in fright and didn't understand where she was coming from!
A bit later
Kanou watched Misaki walking to the hallway and decided to hypnotize Yukimura before she returned.
"Glad she's out of the cafeteria now. This is my chance to-" he felt a familiar menacing aura from behind and knew who it was.
Misaki somehow came back and sat on the chair, watching him from behind.
Sweating heavily, Kanou immediately yielded and continued to clean the table. "Just how many Kaichous are there? Did she use some shadow cloning technique?" he asked the short dark green hair.
"There's only one of her." Yukimura simply answered, "I think."
Kanou saw two girls approaching close to him and faced away until one of them shrieked. Turning slightly, the girl caught his right arm from falling. He startled and noticed she just touched him.
"I'm sorry! I tripped over the chair!" the girl removed her hand from him, "Arigato (Thank you)!" she thanked him as the latter faced away.
Misaki widened her eyes a bit and noticed something strange about him. "What's this? He's avoiding the girls, but he doesn't see them as enemies. It doesn't look like he's allergic to girls." she narrowed her eyes, wanting to know why he reacted that way.
"Kaichou, I'm going to the bathroom." Kanou walked out of the cafeteria.
Tendou stopped walking the hallway and couldn't find he was looking for as he yielded with a sigh.
"Master Tendou, what's wrong?" Draco asked from his Hunter-VG.
"Nothing. It's probably just my imagination. I'm gonna go help the girls." he replied, turning around and making his way to the cafeteria.
A shadow appeared at the bathroom door with glowing purple eyes, "What a relief. That human boy seems to have sharp ears." he said, then heard footsteps coming closer to him, "Argh, great." he grunted and hid in the shadow.
Kanou entered the bathroom and removed his hood and his red glasses before turning on the faucet. He gathered some water and splashed on his face a few times. With one more splash, the spiky dark blue-black-haired slammed his fists on the sink, "RAAAHHH! ! I can't stand those girls! Damn, that Kaichou!" he shouted in frustration and stared at the reflection of himself with a frown. "I won't be fooled by their fake kindness!" he put on his glasses and left the bathroom.
A shadow appeared on the mirror and smiled at that teenager's anger. "That human has an interesting desire. I should use him for my first human test subject."
That night
Dinner time at the Stelar House
"Tendou, are you prepared for the Seika Open House tomorrow?" Geo asked his son.
"I guess. Most of the guys were very worked up just to find new members for their ridiculous sports club." Tendou replied before taking a bite of a broccoli.
"Say, Tendou, what happened to the guy that hypnotized Misaki?" Hope asked her grandson.
"Misaki gave him a good punishment, Obaa-san. I managed to save her without transforming into Megaman. Misaki was reaching close to her limit and took a-painkiller-pill-that-makes-you-very-sleepy by mistake. It took me a while to keep her awake, and I did it at the last moment."
"How did you pull that off?" Kelvin asked.
A blush appeared on the boy's face, remembering the moment he had with Misaki at the stairway. "I, uhh... I can't say."
"Oooohhh! Don't tell me, Tendou! Did you save her in a romantic way~ Like this?" Sonia wrapped her arms around herself and began her acting. "Misaki, before you fall asleep, there's something you need to know... " she switched to Misaki's role, "Tendou, I have something I wanted to tell you since I first met you!" she switched back to her son's, "I feel the same way, Misaki!" she pictured them leaning forward into a kiss.
"Kaa-san! That's not how it happened!" the redness on Tendou's face intensified.
Sonia stared at her blushing son with a sly smile on her face and turned to the Imagin dragon. "Draco, you were there. Tell us how did our son save his princess?" she asked kindly.
"Master Tendou had his arms around her and-"
The spiky brown-haired quickly turned his eyes to his partner. "Draco, do not finish it!"
And so, the day of the Open House
Misaki had a group of junior high girls in the hallway and guided them to a tour around Seika High.
"Looks like everything is progressing well right now. But sports team are... " she turned to the window and had an unpleasant looked on her face in disbelief. The boys from the Sports Club were being persistent on the juniors. "They're making a fool of themselves!"
Tendou walked down the hallway and saw Misaki with a group of young girls.
"Misaki, what's wrong?" he asked.
"*sigh* Those boys don't know how to be professional about the Open House." Misaki answered, "Where were you?"
"I was checking up on Kanou. Poor guy still not used to girls." the spiky brown-haired answered, then noticed the girls behind Misaki were fawning at him.
"Excuse me, is he a student at Seika High?" one of them asked.
"He doesn't look like one based on his clothes."
-Tendou's outfit: a blue T-shirt with a StarForce symbol, black pants, a black jacket with a metallic enforcement plate acting as a collar (that is similar to Ace's), and white sneakers.-
"He's a transfer student." Misaki answered them.
"A transfer student?"
"Oh, that explains it!"
"He looks like a girl!"
"And he's handsome, too!"
"So Tendou, what are you doing now?" the black-haired girl asked.
"I've got nothing. Just taking a walk around Seika."
"I have a task I would love for you to do!" Misaki grew a smirk on her face and opened the window, seeing a group of discouraged boys. "Hey! You failure of a soccer team! Tendou said he wants to become friends with the ball!" she informed them.
"Whoawhoawhoa! Hang on, Misaki! This is too sudden! I'm no good at sports!" he retorted in defense, but he was too late.
"Huh? New kid does?" one of them questioned in surprise.
"Please, come here and assist us!" they pleaded energetically.
"Here's the ball!"
"Show us how fast you run!"
"Junior high students! You'll get a chance to see something amazing! New kid is helping us!"
"What? New kid's helping out the soccer team?"
"Then, we have to get him, too!"
The rest of the male students gathered up and roared energetically.
"NEW KID, WE APPRECIATE YOUR ASSISTANCE! !"
"Tendou, please help out the sports teams for Seika's sake." Misaki pleaded sweetly and continued the guide with the girlls.
The stunned Tendou gaped at the horde of sports teams. He couldn't believe he was forced to help out all of these morons for the Open House!
"Ugh... I should've never used my Battle Cards back at the Sports Festival." he facepalmed himself.
At the soccer field
Tendou kicked the soccer ball at the goal.
The goalkeeper caught the ball with his hands. "Got-Oooff!" Unable to withstand the impact, the ball sent him straight to the goal as he lost consciousness due to Tendou's strength.
"OOOOHHH! !"
"NEW KID'S STRONG! !"
"PLEASE COME WORK WITH THE BASEBALL TEAM NEXT! !"
At the baseball field
"How do I do this?" Tendou asked them, holding a baseball in his right hand.
"Just throw the ball at the batter!"
"Come on, new kid! It's not that hard!"
Tendou sighed and did as he was instructed.
The batter swung the bat and hit the ball, but it broke the bat into two. The baseball club bulged their eyes in shock at his amazing strength - just like their Kaichou.
At the gymnasium
It was ping pong.
The challenger hit the ball to him as Tendou smacked the ball to the other side. His opponent sent the ball back to him with his ping pong racket, however, it broke the racket into pieces.
The boys popped their eyes in shock at his strength for the second time.
Next, it was boxing.
"COME ON! ! COME ON, NEW KID! ! COME ON! ! COME ON! ! COME ON! ! SHOW ME WHAT'D YA GOT, NEW KID! ! COME ON! ! COME ON! !"
Tendou just stood there and eyed at him unpleasantly. He had no idea how energetic and enthusiastic the latter could be.
"COME ON! ! COME ON, NEW KID! ! COME ON! ! GIVE ME A-" Unable to finish, Tendou punched his chest and sent him flying to the group of boxing members. They caught their friend, and they were sent flying to the wall.
The sports teams were afraid of him and his unnatural strength.
"N-NEW KID! ! WHAT'S WITH YOUR STRENGTH! ?"
"YEAH, ARE YOU ON STEROID! ?"
Tendou had had enough of this. He let out a disappointing sigh and threw the boxing gloves on the floor in frustration. "Argh! This is pointless! I can't fit in with any of you guys!" he stormed out of the gymnasium.
Locker Room
"Master Tendou, perhaps you should relax your muscle more often, instead of using too much strength." Draco suggested from his Hunter-VG.
"Draco, that's impossible for me. I've never been to a club before. Fighting is all I know." Tendou answered his partner, putting on his black jacket. "I'm gonna check on Misaki's side."
Misaki finished the tour with the junior high girls and suggested them to have a break at the cafeteria for some refreshment.
Sakura, Shizuko, and the rest of the girls were wearing maid uniforms and kimonos.
"Welcome!" the salmon pink-haired greeted.
"Please have a seat." the short black-haired followed.
The junior high girls brightened their eyes in amazement.
"It's just like a maid café!" they exclaimed.
Nearly cringing, Misaki gestured and held her right hand at her chest, feeling her heart pounding. "P-Please make yourself at home."
"Misaki!" Sakura called her long black-haired friend, "Look, how's this! ?" she twirled happily, showing her maid uniform.
"Y-You look cute, Sakura."
"Misaki, you should join us!" Sakura inquired, but Misaki placed her hands on the latter's shoulders.
"Thanks, but no thanks."
"Rather than that-ACK! !" Misaki gaped, seeing Yukimura in a blue dress with white frills and blue bows on his hair. "Yu-Yukimura, why are you wearing that! ?"
"Kaichou, they forced me to wear this!"
"W-W-Well, it looks like things are going well here." she said.
"Everyone's having fun, right, Shizuko?" Sakura turned to her short black-haired friend.
"Indeed. Though honestly, some are pretty dumbfounded."
"But if you go talk to them, they come in! All I did was "Come and relax a while" to the boys just like that!" Sakura explained cheerfully.
"Oh, she's actually sane." Misaki was amazed at her friend.
"Yes. I thought the boys would laugh, but they look pretty relaxed. Both the boys and girls are enjoying it. It would be fun if every day was like this." Shizuko stated.
Misaki stared at her friend in awe. She didn't know her friends were having a good time in Seika High for the first time.
"Yeah. I agree." she smiled at her friend, "This is what I want."
Tendou opened the door and widened his eyes in surprise at the nice atmosphere in the cafeteria.
"Wow! This mood feels nice! Misaki, doesn't this-"
"ACK! !" Misaki quickly interrupted him by dashing towards him, "Tendou, not another word about my part-time job! You understand! ?" she whispered through gritting her teeth.
"Oh crap! Sorry, Misaki!" Tendou apologized, realizing he almost blurted it out. "Hey, where's Kanou? I don't see him anywhere." he asked, looking around.
"New kid, he's right there." Yukimura pointed.
Tendou and Misaki turned at the direction and froze in astonishment.
Kanou had an uncomfortable look on his face with a tray in his hands. He wore a waiter uniform with black bunny ears in a hood.
"Wh-What the heck is that, Kanou?" Tendou asked in confusion, dumbfounded.
"K-Kanou, you look pretty cute." Misaki praised in a monotone.
"I had no choice! I can't run anywhere when I'm surrounded by so many girls!" Kanou retorted and placed the tray on the table. "I-I'll be right back. I'm going to the bathroom." he opened the door and left the cafeteria.
"Yukimura, how's the progress on Kanou today?" Misaki asked.
Tendou gaped in shock to see Yukimura wearing a dress in the cafeteria. "Why is he wearing a dress! ?" he questioned inwardly.
Kanou entered the bathroom and slammed his fists on the sink in frustration; he couldn't take it anymore. "DAMN IT! ! I DON'T UNDERSTAND THESE GIRLS! ! WHAT'S WITH THESE CREATURES! ? HOW DO THEY THINK CUTE HOOD IS CUTE IS PERFECT ON ME! ? IS THIS REALLY A RABBIT! ? HOW DIFFERENTLY DO GIRLS SEE IN THIS WORLD! ? WHAT IS WITH THE MAID COSTUME! ? WHY DO THEY KEEP MAKING PEOPLE SO CHEERFUL WITH THEIR FAKE KINDNESS! ? I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THEM! ! AREN'T THEY EASILY SHATTERED! ?" he slammed his fists on the sink once more. "If only... IF ONLY I HAVE THE POWER TO GET RID OF THEM! !"
"You want power?" a voice asked.
Kanou shot his head up and looked around the bathroom, but no one was there.
"Wh-Who's there?"
"You want the power to get rid of the girls?" a voice asked again.
The spiky dark blue-black-haired trembled and couldn't find the source of the voice. He didn't know where it was coming from.
"Wh-Where are you! ?" he demanded.
"Behind you."
Kanou turned his back and gasped at the sight. There was no reflection of himself at the mirror. It was a shadowy figure with glowing purple eyes.
"Wh-Who are you! ?" he asked in fright.
"Do not fret. I'm here to help you."
"Y-You're here to help me?" he repeated in confusion.
"Correct. If it's power you want, I can grant your wish." he said as an arm appeared through the mirror with a device in his shadowy hand, "This will solve your problem."
Kanou recognized that device in the latter's hand. It looked exactly like Megaman's on his belt. He started to become curious. He wondered if he had that, he could transform just like him.
"Will... Will that really work?" he asked hesitatingly.
"Yes, it will."
Kanou slowly reached his right hand to the device and took it. In an instant, the device shined and engulfed his body with a black aura. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! !" he cried and grasped his head, overcome by an excruciating pain.
Suddenly, his anger was brought to the surface. All Kanou could think about was how angry he was at the girls for torturing him in this ridiculous outfit and this bunny hood, and how angry he was at the Kaichou for forcing him to work with the girls. He was full of intense rage, and he swore that he would make them all pay.
"That's a nice expression you have. Oh, and there's just one more little detail I forgot to inform you... "
"Maybe I'll apply to Seika." one of the junior high girls spoke.
Misaki was filled with joy by her decision, "You mean you want to join us? You're more than welcome to! So you liked it here?
"Yes!" the girl replied with a happy look, but suddenly dropped, "Or... maybe not... " she covered her face with her hands.
"W-Why?" Misaki asked about her sudden change of mind.
"I'm not good with boys. They scare me a little."
"She's been in an environment with nothing but girls all the time."
"She only came here with us."
"There are a lot of boys at Seika, right? I wish it was an all-girls' school!"
"Don't be like that."
Misaki and the junior girls turned to the owner of the voice. It was Tendou's, who looked irritated as he stood in front of the table.
"Listen, if you actually wish for that kind of school, it is nothing but your own selfish desire!"
"What do you mean by that?" the girl questioned.
"I'll tell you a little story about a friend I know a while back. One time, he told me he wanted to be like his hero, Megaman, and if he becomes Megaman, he wanted nothing but power that can defeat any enemies. That was his only wish, however, there was a downside."
"What was it?"
"He didn't realize he had no control of it, and it backfired him. He made his own grave mistake. The point is you need to get to know more people, especially boys. Sure, there are some good ones and bad ones, but there's no need to justify the school based on what gender it should be unless you befriend them."
Hearing those strong words struck the girl's heart. She was amazed to hear her first senpai's story.
"Thank you very much! What's your name?"
"Tendou Stelar. A transfer student." the spiky brown-haired answered with a small smile.
Suddenly, a scream was heard. Everyone turned to the source and saw a girl being pushed to the floor by Kanou, with his head slumped down.
"Kanou, why did you push her! ?" Yukimura questioned.
Kanou didn't answer and shoved Yukimura to the table, knocking the pile of plates off the table as they shattered on the floor. His left hand grabbed the rabbit hood and tossed it to the floor.
Tendou and Misaki quickly stormed their way to stop him before he went too far.
"Kanou, what's the matter with you! ?" Tendou demanded.
"What gives you the right to push people! ?" Misaki followed.
Kanou didn't bother responding. He reached his right hand to his pocket and took out a device, revealing it to everyone in the cafeteria.
The two recognized that device!
It was a black Hunter-VG!
"Kanou, why do you have that! ? Are you a StarForce like Megaman! ?" Misaki questioned in surprise.
Tendou froze and noticed something different about that Hunter-VG. It didn't have a star symbol on it, but a letter R with a small yellow star on it and an inverted red triangle. He immediately knew who it belongs to.
Kanou placed the black Hunter-VG at the center of his waist and it shot out silver belt strap around him. In a fit of rage, he lifted his head and scowled at the Kaichou as his violet eyes glowed red.
"Grrrr... RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWHHHHHHH! ! !" he let out a loud roar with a dark aura. On cue, a strong wind occurred around him, knocking food and plates on the wall. "HENSHIN! ! METAL SHARK PLAYER! !" he called out loudly in a harsh tone as his body was consumed by data, mechanically transforming into a humanoid hammerhead shark and an anchor appeared in his right hand.
(Metal Shark Player was from Megaman X6.)
Everyone screamed in fright at his monstrous transformation.
Misaki widened her eyes in shock to see him transforming into one of those mechanical monsters.
"No way... They can do that! ?" Tendou widened his eyes in astonishment.
"RAAAAAAAWWWHHHH! ! !" Metal Shark Player (Kanou) roared angrily and started to smash everything in sight with his anchor.
The Seika High and junior high students screamed in terror and ran away from his monstrosity.
Tendou didn't believe this was happening. He decided to take action before Kanou hurt someone. He dashed towards him and grabbed the latter's right hand. "Kanou, stop this! What's gotten into you! ?" he shouted.
Metal Shark Player (Kanou) grabbed him with his left hand and lifted him in the air with an angry growl, "New kid... STAY OUT OF MY WAY! !" he turned and brutally tossed him to the window at the hallway, shattering the glass into shards.
"TENDOU! ! NEW KID! !" Misaki and her friends shouted in fear at the unbelievable sight.
Outside
The shards of glass landed on the bush as Tendou groaned from the pain on his head. Blood dripped on his head as he grasped it from the impact.
"Ow... Damn, what's with him! ? Did the Repliforce give him that much power? Not to mention they copycatted me." he stood up steadily.
"Master Tendou, you must hurry before he kills someone!" Draco alerted him from his Hunter-VG.
"You got it!" Tendou took out his dark blue Hunter-VG and placed it at the center of his waist as it shot out silver belt strap around him. "Henshin!" he called out as his body was consumed by a ball of light.
The roaring Metal Shark Player (Kanou) smashed several tables in half with his anchor and turned to Misaki, who was defending her friends and the junior high girls in the corner. Just looking at her made him beyond furious as he approached her.
Seeing him coming closer and closer, the entire student was even more frightened and couldn't escape.
"Kaichou... You've been a thorn in my sight! I don't know why you want more girls at Seika High, but this has to stop! You left me no choice but to kill you!" Metal Shark Player (Kanou) raised his anchor in the air and prepared to strike her. "SHINE (DIE)! !"
Misaki faced away and tried to block it with her arms as everyone flinched with a shriek. Suddenly, a loud clang was heard. Everyone slowly turned to see who stopped him.
It was Megaman, who collided Metal Shark Player (Kanou)'s anchor with a red blade on his left forearm.
His armors were dark blue. He had wings of Cygnus Noise form. His helmet had no spiky hair. His lens was red, and a silver mask below it. His streamlines were green.
The Seika High gasped in excitement to see their hero. The junior high girls were surprised to see the legendary Megaman in person.
"Megaman! ?" Metal Shark Player (Kanou) widened his eyes at his sudden arrival.
"What is the meaning of this! ?" Megaman (Tendou) asked venomously and punched him with his right fist, causing the latter to stumble back a bit. "Are you willing to take someone's life for your own satisfaction! ?"
"Shut up! Stay out of my way, Megaman!" Metal Shark Player (Kanou) charged at him and swung his anchor, but the dark blue armored Megaman caught it with both hands. Metal Shark Player (Kanou) found an opening and swung his left leg at him with a kick, sending him flying.
"Aaaahh!" Megaman (Tendou) crashed into the wall, then fell to the floor.
"KAICHOU! !" Metal Shark Player (Kanou) aimed his anchor at her.
"MISAKI! ! KAICHOU! !" The Seika High girls and Yukimura shouted.
Misaki was in a state of fear and couldn't move.
Megaman (Tendou) immediately stood up and sallied his way until he was standing in front of her. On cue, Metal Shark Player (Kanou) slashed his armored chest with sparks bursting out.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! !"
"Megaman!" Misaki couldn't believe what she just witness. Megaman just saved her life by taking the hit for her.
He was the second person to do that besides Tendou.
Metal Shark Player (Kanou) felt his anger increasing and had had enough of this. He had no choice but to deal with Megaman. Consuming by anger, the humanoid hammerhead shark grabbed Megaman (Tendou) and fiercely threw him at the cafeteria window, shattering the glass in the process.
"Aaaaaahhh!" Megaman (Tendou) crashed on the ground with a thud and got back up slowly.
Metal Shark Player (Kanou) leaped through the shattered window and landed, approaching to his injured enemy. "Megaman, why can't you just stay out of my way! ? This isn't your business!"
Megaman (Tendou) shot his head at him with a death glare behind his red lens and swiftly launched his right fist at the center of the humanoid hammerhead shark's head. "Then I'll make it my business!" he fired back, "Batoru Kaado (Battle Card)! Batoru Ransu (Battle Lance)!" A black spear with a blade at the tip appeared on his right hand as he twirled it in the air, forming a stance before dashing at him.

Metal Shark Player (Kanou) growled and swung his anchor at him. Megaman (Tendou) clashed his anchor with his lance and used the butt of his weapon to hit the enemy's side.
"Hey, guys, look! It's Megaman!" one of the sports team members pointed at the fight.
"Really! ? Megaman's here!"
"It is him! And he's fighting a monster right now!"
The horde of sports teams gathered and immediately headed to the scene with the junior high boys.
Misaki carefully stepped out of the cafeteria broken window and watched the fight. Behind her, the girls and her friends didn't want to step into the battlefield.
Megaman (Tendou) held out his lance to block the attack, but Metal Shark Player (Kanou) smashed it into two. He grunted and threw his broken weapon away as it vanished into data. A red blade extracted on his right forearm and dashed towards Metal Shark Player (Kanou). Both of them clashed their weapons and pushed each other forward as they leaped backward.
"There's something I want to ask you!" Megaman (Tendou) started to question him, "First of all, what's your problem with girls! ? What did they ever do to you! ? Did they threaten you! ? Were you bullied by them! ? Do you have a grudge on them! ? No one will understand unless you say something!"
"RRRAAAAWWHHH! ! THAT'S BECAUSE I HATE GIRLS! ! My Tou-chan told me they are weak and fragile!" Metal Shark Player (Kanou) answered angrily and began his backstory.
*Flashback*

His father was a former pro wrestler. His mother's heart shattered and couldn't take anymore of his abuse behavior. She got fed up and left the house.
"Tou-chan, what do you mean Kaa-chan's broken and left us?" the four-year-old Kanou asked his father with sad tears in his eyes.
"Soutaro! Women are weak and fragile than you imagine! You'd better be careful with how you handle them, too!" he answered his son harshly.
The young Kanou began to cry with painful tears, "Kaa-chan! If they're going to break, then I won't go near them anymore!"
Hearing his father's words struck his heart deeply into million pieces.
From that day, he resolved to never approach girls due to his father's only warning.
*Flashback end*
"Was it right to remove girls out of this world! ? OF COURSE, IT IS! ! I was heartbroken that day, and I've been carrying on my Tou-chan's words! Girls always used their fake kindness! They shouldn't exist, they should-" Metal Shark Player (Kanou) was cut off by a strong, swift punch on the center of his face as he stumbled back with a growl.
Megaman (Tendou) was furious and couldn't believe his backstory; his face was unreadable due to his helmet. "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR GODDAMN MIND! ? THE SOURCE OF YOU HATING GIRLS WAS FROM YOUR OLD MAN! ? THAT WAS HIS PROBLEM! ! YOU DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW HIS PATH, AND YOU DON'T HAVE A SOLID PROOF ABOUT GIRLS! !" he barked at him.
"What do you know about girls, Megaman! ? I'd be much happier if they stop existing!"
"Tell me! Did you love your mother back then! ?" Megaman (Tendou) angrily asked the humanoid hammerhead shark.
"Of course, I do! I-"
"Then answer me this!" Megaman (Tendou) pointed at him with his right index finger, "Are YOU happy! ? You have been hating girls for over a decade and you want them out of this world, and that includes your own mother! ? CAN YOU CLAIM TO BE HAPPY ABOUT THAT! ?" he asked in a very loud tone.
Metal Shark Player (Kanou) paused, struck from his words in utter astonishment. He had completely forgotten about his mother. He hadn't thought about that. His anger suddenly turned into confusion.
"Look, did you help the girls earlier today! ?" Megaman (Tendou) asked again.
"Y-Yeah! So what! ?"
"Answer me this again! Were they really weak and fragile as you thought! ? Have you ever socialize with them enough to learn the truth! ?"
Metal Shark Player (Kanou) widened his eyes and remembered the girls were being very cheerful and nice to him. They weren't using their fake kindness... they were real! He also remembered one didn't have enough strength to carry one box, but her friend quickly came to assist her together. He turned to the girls at the cafeteria and noticed they were literally scared of him.
They weren't monsters at all!
Dropping his anchor on the ground, Metal Shark Player (Kanou) looked his hands and realized who the real monster was as tears began to form in his eyes.
"Wh... What have I done... ?" he sobbed and dropped to his knees.
Retracting his red blade back to his right forearm, Megaman (Tendou) was surprised to see a breakthrough and walked to him.
Everyone smiled in relief to see their classmate finally opened his eyes.
Misaki knew she can always count on Megaman.
"Listen, you've been in pain for a long time." the dark blue armored Megaman spoke softly, "If you really want to see your mother again... let me help you. I can help you find your mother, and bring you two together again. Would you like that?" he offered, extending his right hand to him.
"Megaman... I... Yes... Yes, I would." Metal Shark Player (Kanou) reached his right hand to the latter's until... "Pathetic." On cue, he quickly swung his anchor diagonally upward at the dark blue armored Megaman's torso.
"Gaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!" Megaman (Tendou) cried, fell backward in the air with sparks bursting out and landed on the ground.
"Megaman!" Misaki gasped.
Metal Shark Player (Kanou) stood back on his feet, "This feeble human has a such a weak desire to control my body!"
Everyone noticed the voice didn't belong to Kanou. It was the owner of the humanoid hammerhead shark's.
"Argh! Wait a minute! I thought he was supposed to gain control of the transformation!" Megaman (Tendou) thought, getting back up.
"Oh, that... it was a just transformation experiment on humans!" Metal Shark Player explained, "However, this human host was too weak, so I'm taking over!"
"Great, the only way to set him free is by defeating you!" Megaman (Tendou) formed his fighting stance and charged at him.
"Shaaku Dasshu (Shark Dash)!" Metal Shark Player leaped to the ground and swam on it, with cracks, "Metaru Heddo (Metal Head)!" he increased his pace and proceeded to ram his head, but the latter dodged it by leaping in the air.
Megaman (Tendou) mechanically transformed his arms into Gatlings and aimed down, firing multiple bullets at a rapid speed.
"AAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGHHHH! !" the humanoid hammerhead shark cried and pinned to the ground by raining bullets.
Landing on the ground, Megaman (Tendou) reverted both armed-gatlings back into his arms and charged at his enemy. Metal Shark Player stood back up and turned to his target. The dark blue armored Megaman launched his right fist at him, but blocked by the latter's anchor. Next, he swiftly swung his right leg in the air and kicked the side of his face. Metal Shark Player grunted and bashed his head on the latter's torso.
"Aaaaaahhhh!" Megaman (Tendou) cried and fell to the ground.
"Megaman! Don't give up!" Misaki cheered.
Metal Shark Player took a few steps forward, "This is what I call a sweet revenge!" he raised his anchor in the air, preparing to strike him. Suddenly, his body froze and couldn't move. "Huh? What the? What's going on?"
Everyone was bewildered at the humanoid hammerhead shark monster.
"Huh? Why did he stop?" Sakura questioned in confusion.
"I'm not sure." Shizuko replied.
Misaki wanted to know about that, too. Then, she widened her eyes and figured out the answer.
"M-Megaman... "
Megaman (Tendou) recognized that voice as he stood up, "Could... Could it be?"
"Megaman... ! Please... end this madness!"
It was Kanou's voice!
"What's this! ? This human brat's still conscious! ?" Metal Shark Player questioned in shock.
"This is my body! You have no right to take control and hurt everyone!" Kanou shouted in correction.
"Screw you! This is my body you're in!" the humanoid hammerhead shark corrected back, trying to regain control, but failed.
"Megaman! Please... hurry and end this! I don't want to see anyone hurt anymore because of me!" Kanou pleaded.
"Okay." Megaman (Tendou) nodded as his right fist was engulfed by a crimson red Noise. "This hand of mine is scorching red!"
"You human scum! Unfreeze my body!" Metal Shark Player demanded.
"It's raging roar tells me to grant victory!" the dark blue armored Megaman raised his right arm and opened his hand. He dashed towards the frozen enemy and plunged his fingers through the humanoid hammerhead shark's armored abdomen, then lifted him in the air.
"AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH! ! !" Metal Shark Player cried in agony as electricity surged through his body.
"MEGA FINGAA (MEGA FINGER)! !" he called out his signature attack as Metal Shark Player exploded in defeat.
*BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !*
"KANOU! !" Misaki shouted, wishing Megaman not to kill him.
Walking out of the smoke, Megaman (Tendou) carried an unconscious Kanou around his shoulder.
"It's okay. He's still breathing."
Everyone let out a relieved sigh, feeling glad their fellow classmate was in one piece.
"Thank goodness, he's okay!" Sakura said.
"Megaman, don't scare us like that! I really thought Kanou was a goner!" Yukimura exclaimed sadly.
"I'll be taking him to the hospital. You all take care of the mess." Megaman (Tendou) leaped and flew in the air.
Misaki smiled at him and turned to her friends. "All right, minna (everyone), let's get this mess clean up!"
"Okay!"
Misaki hadn't forgotten about Tendou as she quickly ran around the school to find him. "Tendou! Tendou! ? Where are you! ?" she called for him, but there was no response. "Please don't be killed! Please don't be killed!" she pleaded and looked around, then stepped on a paper. She looked down and picked it up, reading it.
"Misaki, if you happened to find this paper after the fight, don't worry about Tendou. I've already taken him to the hospital. Signed, Megaman."
The black-haired girl smiled in relief.
Echo Ridge Hospital
Kanou slowly opened his eyes and looked around, wondering where he was.
"You're in the hospital." a voice answered.
The spiky dark blue-black-haired turned and saw the same person he threw at the window.
It was Tendou with a bandage on his head, sitting on the chair.
"New kid? You're alive? How?" Kanou asked in confusion.
"Megaman saved me." he lied, "And he saved you from that monster."
Kanou was surprised to hear that as he turned his sight to the ceiling. "New kid, I'm... I'm terribly sorry for my selfishness. Thanks to Megaman, I'm starting to realize girls aren't that weak and fragile as I thought. That was my first time... my first time I'd ever spent so much time with them. I... I won't run away from the girls anymore." he vowed solemnly.
Tendou smiled at his answer. "That's good to hear. Also, you have a visitor." he notified him before standing up.
"A visitor?" Kanou looked at him, blinking in confusion.
"Someone's here to see you... who hadn't seen you for a long time." Tendou walked to the door and opened it. "You can come in." he said as the woman entered the room.
With a gasp, Kanou widened his eyes at the person in complete astonishment and sat up from the bed. He immediately recognized that woman.
It was his mother who hadn't seen for eleven years. She had blue hair and violet eyes.
"K-Kaa-chan... " his voice shook as tears formed in his eyes.
"Soutarou... " his mother walked towards him and brought her arms around him. "You've grown so much!"
Kanou couldn't form a single word and returned the warm hug. The mother and son deepened the hug and shed their tears of joy from their reunion.
"Kaa-chan... I... I miss you so much!"
Smiling at them, Tendou stepped out and closed the door, letting Kanou have his moment with his mother.
"Master Tendou, about your little story back there, was that about you seven years ago?" Draco asked from his Hunter-VG.
"Yes, it was." the spiky brown-haired answered, remembering the fatal mistake that he should never have done. "There's one thing I don't get it. The black Hunter-VG on him suddenly disappeared." he added in realization.
"If the Repliforce is going to use that to transform innocent people, they'll make a new army." Draco replied.
"I'll do whatever it takes to save everyone."
"What about your friend, Dan? Shouldn't we warn him about it?" Draco asked.
Tendou stayed silent for a moment before making an answer. "I can handle this."
Somewhere in another dimension
The shadowy figure walked to another room with a black Hunter-VG in his right hand. During the explosion of Metal Shark Player's defeat, a small portal appeared behind him and he quickly snagged the device away without getting caught.
He entered the throne room as the light revealed his full body with a lab coat. His entire armor was purple. His helmet was distinguished by a pair of metallic blades running across the sides and a diamond-shaped blue gem. He had a pentagon-shaped blue gem on the center of his chestplate.
"Master Sigma, I have good news... the transformation experiment on a human was a success." he informed.
A tall bald-headed humanoid in heavy purple armor was sitting on the throne. The throne had several mechanical arms repairing his cracked armor; it looked very old and rusted. The right side of his face was missing and most of his damaged armor was replaced with scraps.
"Very well, Gate... And the bad news?" he asked bitterly.
Gate dropped his smile and closed his eyes, "His desire was too weak to control it. I'm afraid we have to find a new human with strong desire to experiment it." he informed. "Metal Shark Player is out of the drawing board. Should we install him for the next transformation?" the humanoid scientist asked.
"That can wait, Gate. Once I'm fully repaired, I'll definitely have my revenge on the original Megaman!" Sigma vowed and slammed his right fist on the throne. "And this time! It's just me and him!"
That night
Misaki finished her homework and turned off the lamplight. She let out a yawn and readied to hit the bed. Staring at the ceiling, she remembered a certain question from Tendou that made her wide awake before the designated time.
Tendou wrapped his arms around her in a hug with his eyes closed. "I know, Misaki... I know. Before you fall asleep, I want you to listen to me very clearly. How would you react if I tell you Megaman's identity?" he asked in a whisper.
Hearing that question made her excited and fully awake. Misaki smiled and felt glad Tendou save her at a crucial moment.
