I don't want to hurt the UsuiXMisaki fans out there, but I want to try and see if Misaki Ayuzawa is capable to be a StarForce member, and have Tendou in Usui's place.
I don't own Megaman nor Maid-Sama except the transformation, new characters, and new Battle Cards.
This chapter is slightly based on Megaman StarForce episode 46 and 47, and a small scene of Maid Sama from episode 21.
Chapter 26: Misaki Cooks for Megaman
Maki explained the entire situation to Ace and Jack about the kidnapping plan. Hearing the exchange about Megaman joining Miyabigaoka High as the strongest security, the two adults were not impressed. Maki was off the hook since he didn't take part in the kidnapping.
The next evening
Ayuzawa House
"I'm home!" Misaki opened the living room door, seeing her younger sister. "Oh, Suzuna, Mama's not home yet?" she asked.
"She'll be home soon." Suzuna answered blankly, scanning through the magazine pages. "Hmm, what should I win next?"
Misaki decided to hit the shower before her mother returned. Sitting on the bathtub filled with warm water, she didn't believe what she just heard from Tendou yesterday.
"The heart of the woman whom one loves... How can someone protect that!"
"Was that his confession! ?" she questioned with a blush, wishing it wasn't a dream.
As her face intensified, she quickly splashed herself with warm water to snap herself.
The black-haired girl came back to the living room and noticed her sister wasn't there. She heard her mother in the kitchen along with Suzuna, preparing dinner together. Just as she was about to help them, she noticed a magazine on the table that caught her attention. She picked it up and recognized a certain blonde model.
The front cover had a picture of Luna Platz, holding a plate of food in her hands.
"How to win a man's heart with cooking?" she flipped to the next page and read the detail. After a few moments, she was amazed and wanted to give it a try.
With a smile on her face, she knew exactly one person who to cook for.
The next day
It was lunchtime at Seika High
Megaman (Tendou) landed on the roof with a large box of pizza in his hands. Cancelling his transformation, he sat on the floor and opened the large box.
"Oh boy, pizza for lunch!" Tendou took a slice and bit it. "Aaahh~ Extra tomato sauce! It tastes so much better! That pizza chef did a great job!" he exclaimed.
*Flashback*
Megaman (Tendou) entered a pizzeria restaurant and earned a surprised reaction from the customers and the pizza staffs.
"M-M-MEGAMAN! ? Wh-What are you here for! ?" the pizza chef panicked in fright, ducking his head from the counter.
"Relax, sir! I'm not here to arrest you, I'm here to order a pizza." the dark blue armored Megaman told him.
The chef stood up slowly and felt somewhat relieved. "Y-You're here as a customer? Wh-What would you like?" he asked nervously.
"Just a large pizza."
"W-Would you like extra tomato sauce?" the pizza chef offered.
"Hmm, extra tomato sauce? Sure!" Megaman (Tendou) nodded in approval.
After paying the bill with an extra tip, Megaman (Tendou) killed time by giving autographs to the customers. They were thrilled to receive the mighty Megaman's signatures in person, including the pizzeria staffs.
"H-Here you go, Megaman! Enjoy your pizza while it's hot!" The pizza chef handed him the box, trembling in excitement.
Megaman (Tendou) took the box in his hands and bowed politely to the man. "Arigato (Thank you), and have a good day!" he turned to the exit and flew off in the air.
*Flashback ended*
A burp was heard from the young fighter's mouth, Tendou wiped his mouth with a napkin. All eight slices of pizza were inside his belly.
"Man, that was good!" he rubbed his belly stood up. He stood by the ledge and scanned around, searching for the trash can on the ground. Instead of a trash can, he found a trash container. Grabbing the empty pizza box, the spiky brown-haired jumped off the roof and landed on the ground with a loud thud. He threw it inside the container and dusted his hands.
Tendou turned around and suddenly frozen in astonishment at the sight he didn't expect to see.
In front of him, Kanou and Yukimura gaped in horror with their mouth dropped, and they were carrying a stack of documents in their hands.
"Oh crap."
Yukimura shivered from his legs to his head and asked him in a frightful tone. "N-N-N-N-N-N-NEW KID, DID YOU JUST JUMP DOWN FROM THE ROOF! ?"
Unable to answer the dark green-haired, Tendou sweated heavily and immediately dashed away with a trail of smoke on the ground.
In the Student Council Room
Misaki was on her Student Council Kaichou desk, grasping her head with both hands. "How hard is for you to understand? Seriously, where have I heard that before?" she questioned herself, trying to remember from her memory bank. The more she tried, the more she failed to remember.
The door was heard open, Yukimura and Kanou entered the room with a stack of documents.
"K-Kanou... I think new kid is getting stranger and stranger every month." Yukimura said frightfully, placing the documents on the table.
Kanou placed his next to Yukimura's. "It seems so. Jumping down from the roof was abnormal."
Misaki heard their conversation and shot her head at them. "What do you mean Tendou jumped down from the roof?" she asked in surprise, standing up.
Yukimura started to explain, "K-Kaichou, you see... we were on our way here and... "
"New kid came out of nowhere from the roof, and he wasn't hurt." Kanou finished.
Hearing their answers, Misaki was even more surprised. "You two aren't pulling my legs, are you?" she asked again.
"Kaichou, we're not making this up!" Yukimura cried. Kanou simply shook his head.
The black-haired girl could tell Yukimura wasn't the type to lie, and neither was Kanou. She noticed Kanou starting to open up to the girls a little.
After school
"Master Tendou, you should be more aware of your surrounding." Draco said from his Hunter-VG.
"Draco, I swore those two aren't around before I made the jump." Tendou replied to his Imagin partner, walking out of the school building. He saw Misaki leaning her back at the front gate.
The black-haired girl saw him approaching and stood in front of him. "Hi, Tendou."
"Misaki, something wrong?" he asked.
"Can I go to your house?"
Tendou blinked twice in a bit of confusion, "My house? What for?"
"I need some wisdom from your mother." she answered.
"Wisdom?" Tendou blinked twice again, feeling more confused.
The Stelar House
Sonia and Hope were sitting on the couch in the living room, enjoying their conversation until the front door was heard open.
"I'm home." Tendou called from the entrance.
"Welcome back, Tend-Oh!" Sonia paused in surprise, seeing a familiar high school girl at the front door.
Tendou brought Misaki inside the house for the second time as they removed their shoes.
"Oh, Misaki, what a pleasant surprise to see you again!" Hope exclaimed.
"Hello, Sonia, Hope!" Misaki approached them until she was standing in front of the two, "I have a request for you."
"A request?" Sonia blinked.
"What do you mean?" Hope followed.
"Will you please teach me how to cook?" she finally asked them.
There was silence in the living room. None of the Stelar family had said a single word.
Tendou gaped at her in disbelief. "You called this wisdom! ?" he questioned inwardly.
"You want us to teach you how to cook?" Hope repeated the question.
"Yes." Misaki nodded.
"What on earth for?" Sonia asked the girl.
Misaki began to blush in embarrassment. "I want to make something for someone I am grateful to." she answered sheepishly.
"Uh oh!" Tendou had a feeling where this was going.
"Someone you're grateful to?" Sonia and Hope questioned thoughtfully. It didn't take more than a minute as the two women figured out it with light bulbs on their head. "Hang on, could it be~ " they said in unison.
The blush on the teenage girl's face intensified as she answered the adults in a nervous tone. "It's... for Megaman."
"EH! ? Megaman! ?" Tendou jumped at her answer, "You wanted to cook for Megaman! ?"
Misaki shot her head at him, "W-Why are you so surprised! ? It's not like you're Megaman or something!"
"Eehhh... Well, I am Megaman. I wanted to tell her, but not right here." Tendou answered thoughtfully as Misaki turned back to his mother.
"Sonia, Megaman had been saving my life so many times, and... I wanted to show him my appreciation for all he has done for me!" Misaki finished with a determined look.
Hope started to recognize this moment that she had years ago when her son started to go back to school.
"We'll be happy to teach you!" she accepted with a delightful smile.
"Really, Hope!" Misaki asked with sparkles on her face as the brunette nodded.
"Misaki, what about your mother?" Sonia asked in realization.
"Oh, well, Mama has been overworking so hard every day. I don't want her to push herself too much. Asking her feels kinda embarrassing." Misaki answered nervously.
"Oh, sorry to hear that."
In the kitchen
Sonia lent a blue apron with shooting star patterns to Misaki as she tied it on her back.
"There! I put myself in your care!" the black-haired girl bowed slightly to them.
Hope clapped her hands happily, "You look lovely! Let's start with the basic! Misaki, can you make onigiri (rice ball)?"
There were two plates on the table: one had rice, and the other had a set of seaweeds. Next to the plates was a container of salt.
Misaki did as she was instructed to make her first rice ball. She had a ball of rice in her hands, and she was squeezing it with all her might.
"Come on! Harden... ! Become triangular... ! Roll into a triangular shape already!" she pleaded in frustration. She continued to squeeze the rice with more strength, "If I do this a little more, it should harden... !"
"Slow down, Misaki!" Sonia placed her hands on the girl's shoulders as the black-haired stopped, "You shouldn't rush like that."
"She's right, Misaki." Hope joined, standing next to the girl, "Cooking is all about being creative. Rushing isn't the answer, it'll make the food inedible. But I was even worse than this when I first began cooking." she explained.
"Really?" Misaki widened her eyes slightly.
"Yep!" Sonia nodded, "You see, Misaki, I was like you when I first started cooking. I even asked Hope to teach me how to cook, but it was a failure. Everyone is always like this at the beginning. Your failures will push you towards improvement." she stated.
"That's why we should working hard together, okay?" Hope finished.
Hearing their wise words brought a smile to Misaki's face. She was touched by them.
"Sonia... Hope... arigato (thank you)!" she brought her arms to them in a group hug.
Sonia and Hope returned the hug to the young girl.
Tendou was watching them from the corner and smiled at her.
"Master Tendou, are you sure you should let her be in the kitchen?" Draco asked concernedly in a whisper from his Hunter-VG.
"Why do you ask?" the spiky brown-haired asked back.
"Well, to be frank, you've never tried her cooking before." Draco pointed.
"It doesn't hurt to try. What's the worst that can happen? Hang on a sec... Didn't Tou-san tell me a story about this one time before?" Tendou questioned to himself thoughtfully.
Misaki broke the hug and felt a fiery spirit inside her, filled with determination. "Okay, now I can work on them without hesitation!"
"Let's do out best, Misaki!" Sonia and Hope cheered.
A bit later
"It's... It's done!" Misaki exclaimed tiredly. Sonia and Hope stared at her rice balls with doubtful looks.
Tendou sat on the chair, staring at the plate of two rice balls in confusion. Instead of triangular shape and white, they were round and gray.
"You made cannonballs out of rice?" he asked, pointing at them.
"What are you talking about, Tendou! ? They are onigiri!" she corrected him and leaned her face closer to him. "They're nothing but onigiri, right! ?"
"That's impossible, Misaki! Onigiri can't be this solid!" Tendou knocked one twice, making loud clanging sounds.
Misaki took one from the plate and brought it to her mouth. "How about I eat one then?" she took a hard bite and made loud crunching sounds, "See! ? It's an onigiri! I can taste the salt!" she proofed proudly.
"Whoa! Hang on, Misaki! Onigiri doesn't make crunching sounds!" Tendou pointed.
"What are you talking about! ? That's just your imagination!" Misaki countered, continuing to crunch it.
"Are you trying to break my teeth! ?"
Sonia and Hope backed away and freaked out at the young girl's first handmade rice ball. They didn't expect her cooking was this bad.
"Let's try a different one." Sonia suggested.
An idea suddenly came to Hope's mind. "I know a perfect one, Sonia." she explained to her daughter-in-law, whispering to her left ear.
Sonia widened her eyes in delight, growing a devious smile on her face. "Hope, you're so bad at this~ " she complimented her mother-in-law, who also had the same smile.
"Pretty good, don't you think?" the grandmother asked slyly.
The two women nodded in agreement and let out a sinister laugh.
Tendou and Misaki turned to them and saw a dark aura coming from the two women, feeling a bit frightened.
"K-Kaa-san... Obaa-san... why are you two making that face?" he asked.
"Hehehe~ That's a secret." Sonia answered with a chuckle.

.
Misaki placed the second dish on the table. It was an omelet rice, with a small dark color.
"Well, it's a little crispy though, but looks a bit better than your rice-cannon-balls." Tendou noted. Frozen in fright, he slowly lifted his head up and saw Misaki engulfing a fiery aura with red eyes.
"Are you here to taste test, or judge my cooking! ?" she asked almost angrily with her arms crossed.
"Nononono! I'll eat your cooking!" the spiky brown-haired grabbed a spoon and was about to scoop it, "Hey, wait a minute! Why am I tasting your cooking as a test?" he asked in realization.
"Because, I don't want something to have gone wrong and end up giving it to Megaman!" Misaki answered truthfully.
Sonia and Hope shared an acknowledging stare before turning to the boy.
"Just give it one taste, Tendou. It shouldn't hurt." Hope said to her grandson.
"You'll be able to eat cooking made by this charming young girl!" Sonia followed, praising her.
"Really, Sonia!" Misaki grew a happy smile at her as the purple-ish pink-haired mother nodded. "Come on, Tendou! Give it a try!" she pleaded. Without a second thought, Tendou scooped the omelet rice and took a bite in his mouth. "So how is it? Does it taste good?" she asked brightly.
The spiky brown-haired chewed his food and swallowed it. "Not bad. It's-DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! ! !" he suddenly screamed with a flamethrower right out of his mouth. He quickly rushed his way to the refrigerator and opened the freezer door. Grabbing as many ice cubes, he shoved them into his burning mouth to cool his tongue.
"Tendou, that was rude! It can't be that spicy!" Misaki grabbed a spoon and scooped it, wanting to taste it herself. Taking it in her mouth, she felt the intense heat as her face turned red with steam on her temple. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! !"
Sonia and Hope watched the two teenagers in hysterical and gave each other a thumbs up. The young fighter's mother had a bottle of hot sauce behind her back, and it was a level ten.
The spice finally subsided after half an hour. Tendou collapsed on the couch and fainted. Misaki managed to stay conscious and refused to be discouraged.
She would definitely improve her cooking!
The next day after school
With Sonia and Hope's teaching skills, Misaki practiced making rice balls with everything she had.
There were several rice balls on the table. Instead of oval, they were finally in triangular shapes.
Sonia took one and split it in half, sharing it with Hope. The two took a bite for a tasting test.
Misaki remained silent and watched them, pleading her rice balls weren't failures. She patiently waited for their responses.
Swallowing the food, Sonia and Hope turned to the young girl and gave her an A-OK sign.
The black-haired girl smiled happily and gave the women a tight hug. "Sonia, Hope, arigato (Thank you)! I finally succeeded!" she exclaimed.
"That's great, Misaki!" Hope returned the hug.
"Now all that's left is to give your obentou to Megaman!" Sonia followed and turned to her son, who was watching from the corner, giving him a wink.
Tendou wasn't sure how this would turn out.
Misaki walked down the path to search for Megaman along with Sonia. The Kaichou carried her pink handbag that contained several rice balls she made. She was excited and nervous to give her cooking to him.
"Tell me again why did you drag me into this?" Tendou asked, who was walking beside her.
"Well, you should know the answer to that, Tendou. Megaman always shows up when there's trouble. Since he is your hero and you respected him the most, this is your chance to see him in person." Misaki answered. "If we look around, we'll be able to spot where that trouble occurs right away, and then I can give him the onigiri I made." she smiled, looking at her handbag. "I'm sure Megaman would like to try my first cooking."
Sonia couldn't help but giggle at them. Truthfully, she wanted to see the result between them.
Tendou sighed to himself. "It's not like the Repliforce will cause chaos that often." Suddenly, a loud gunshot was heard nearby, startling the two with a jump. "Unless there's a crime."
Echo Ridge Bank
Two men were robbing the bank with black ski masks and MK-47 rifles. One of them fired a warning shot in the ceiling, causing people to panic.
Two bags were filled with money in cash as the second one took them in his hands.
"Thank you for your cooperation, ladies and gentle scums!" the first guy fired his rifle in the air before they made their getaway. "Come on, let's scram before Megaman shows up!"
"I'm running as fast as I can!" the second guy shouted.
Tendou, Sonia, and Misaki spotted the running criminals, who were heading in their direction.
"Tendou." Sonia whispered to her son in a serious tone.
Tendou nodded in acknowledgment and stealthily ran off to hide. Thankfully, he was glad Misaki didn't pay attention to him. He hid in the alley and took out his dark blue Hunter-VG from his pocket. He placed it at the center of his waist as it shot out silver belt strap around him.
"Henshin!" he called out as his body was consumed by a ball of light before leaping in the air.
"Dude, come on! Keep up the pace!" the first guy said to this friend.
"I AM! ! THESE BAGS ARE FILLED WITH CASH! ! WHY DON'T YOU TAKE ONE AND-" the second guy wasn't able to finish his sentence, they were interrupted by a ball of light that landed in front of them with a thud.
The landing knocked the two robbers away as they landed on the ground with a thud.
"Oh no, isn't that... " the first guy gasped in horror.
"I... I think it is... " the second guy trembled.
The ball of light faded and revealed the crime-fighting Megaman with wings on his left knee as he stood up.
His armors were dark blue. He had wings of Cygnus Noise form. His helmet had no spiky hair. His lens was red, and a silver mask below it. His streamlines were green.
Misaki didn't expect to see his arrival this quick.
The two robbers stood back and aimed their rifles at Megaman (Tendou).
"SHOOT HIM! !"
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL ME TWICE! !"
They pulled the triggers and fired every single bullet directly at the dark blue armored Megaman. Once they ran out of ammo, Megaman (Tendou) was standing there without a dent. The two robbers trembled and wondered why was unscathed.
Megaman (Tendou) raised his clenched fists and opened them, dropping countless bullets to the ground. He secretly used Clock Up Battle Card and caught them at a tremendous speed.
The robbers gasped with horrified looks on their faces and dropped their rifles.
"Whoa... " Was all Misaki could say in astonishment. Sonia smiled at her son.
Without knowing, a figure approached his way towards the black-haired girl from behind.
"My turn." Megaman (Tendou) mechanically transformed his right arm into Cannon and fired at them twice with a blue energy blast.
"AAAAAAAHHHHH! !" they immediately turned their back and fled, screaming in fright.
Sadly, they were too late.
The two energy blast hit them and shined a bright blue light. The light faded and revealed the two robbers were frozen in ice.
Megaman (Tendou) smiled triumphantly and was about to fly, but heard a shriek close-by. He turned to the source and gasped. Misaki was held hostage by a third robber in his left hand.
"Oh no, Misaki!"
The third robber backed away from the crowd. "NOBODY MOVES, OR THIS CHICK DIES! !" he warned, pointing a handgun on her head with his right hand. "ESPECIALLY YOU, MEGAMAN! ! DON'T YOU COME ANY CLOSER! !"
"Misaki... " Sonia couldn't believe she was careless for not watching her.
Grunting, Megaman (Tendou) aimed his right armed-cannon at the robber, but immediately lowered his arm. He didn't want to hurt Misaki right in front of him.
"Hahahaha! So the mighty Megaman can't even do it the hard way, huh? Well, this little hottie is my ticket out of here!" the robber laughed louder than before.
Megaman (Tendou) didn't lower his arm just for that. He had something else in mind.
Misaki stopped struggling and felt a familiar situation she had before. She actually remembered now.
*Flashback*
It happened on Mother's Day.
Outside of Maid Latte.
The thug requested her to spend the night at her place, but she heartlessly rejected his abomination's request. He grabbed her collar and pinned her against the wall hard with a furious look on his face.
"So you wanna do this the hard way, huh! ? Once I see a hottie, I'll-" he was interrupted by someone's finger poking on his right shoulder, "Hey! Beat it, would ya-" He turned his head to the interrupter, but met a swift punch in the face.
Misaki nearly fell, but couldn't get a chance to see her savior's face, who was standing in front of her. She saw her savior had spiky brown hair, a black jacket with a metallic enforcement plate acting as a collar, and black pants.
"Hey, if the girl's not interested, she's not interested! How hard is it for you to understand! ?" he shouted at the thug, who sounded very angry.
*Flashback ended*
There was only one person who had a black jacket with a metallic enforcement plate.
It was Tendou who saved her that day!
The stunned Misaki was astonished. She lowered her head and dropped her handbag to the ground.
"Come on, sweet cheeks! You're going for a-" Before he could finish, Misaki landed both her elbows on the robber's stomach. "Aaaaack!" he cried and dropped his gun.
"Ooooohh!" Sonia widened her eyes in amazement.
Misaki managed to escape and prepared to use her aikido on the robber. She grabbed the latter's left wrist and yanked down his elbow, flipping him in the air. On cue, she slammed him on the ground with a heavy thud. The robber groaned and lost consciousness.
"Hehehe. I figure she would use her aikido. Though I haven't seen her use it in a while." Megaman (Tendou) thought with a chuckle.
Sonia praised the young girl with a whistle. She was incredibly impressed by her aikido skill. She took out her Hunter-VG and called the Satella Police to fetch the robbers.
Misaki stood up and grabbed her handbag, frowning at the robber in displeased.
It was already sunset.
Echo Ridge Park
It was just the two of them alone.
Misaki stood in front of Megaman (Tendou) with her head lowered. She felt nervous and didn't know where to start. Megaman (Tendou) just stood there and waited patiently.
"Um... M-Megaman... h-here! I-I made these for you... " Misaki fidgeted with a blush, holding out her handbag to him. "Th-This is my way of showing my appreciation! If... If you'd like... "
Staring at her handbag that had several rice balls, Megaman (Tendou) didn't want to refuse her nor hurt her feelings.
"S-Sure, I'll give it a try."
"R-Really! ?" Misaki lifted her head to face him with a bright smile as he nodded.
The two sat on the bench as Misaki took one out from her handbag, covered in plastic wrappers. She was even more nervous than before.
"H-Here you go." the black-haired girl handed it to him.
"A-Arigato (Thank you)." Megaman (Tendou) removed the plastic wrapper and stared at the rice ball for a moment. "She better not give me food poisoning." he pleaded nervously.
"What's wrong?" Misaki asked, noticing her hero was eating.
"Huh? Oh, uh, it's nothing! The main problem is the taste." His silver mask split sideways and revealed his mouth. Gulping, he took a bite of her rice ball and chewed with his eyes shut. He paused with his widened eyes at the taste before swallowing it.
"How is it?"
"It's... good." he answered in surprise.
"Really! ?"
Megaman (Tendou) nodded, "And less salty."
"Less salty?"
"Well, it tastes better that way." he noted.
Misaki eyed at her rice balls and took one out, wanting to taste it herself. Unwrapping the plastic wrapper, she took a bite and noticed the taste.
"It is good with less salt!" she said in surprise before facing him with a smile.
Megaman (Tendou) smiled back as the two ate the rice balls together.
Taking another bite of her rice ball, Misaki had to remind herself to thank Tendou for saving her from that day. If he hadn't shown up and saved her, she didn't want to imagine what that thug would do to her.
Sonia hid in the bushes with a big smile on her face. She had her Hunter-VG out and recorded the two secretly.
"My baby is growing up! Geo and Kelvin will be so surprised to see his!"
