My apology for the late update. I'm back in college for some difficult time with classes. For these past four months, it was nice working on this story, and I'm still continuing it. So please be patient for the next chapter.
Chapter 34: Identity Crisis Part 1 / High Max

Seika High
In the classroom
Tendou was calm as usual, continued his best to lay a low profile without any calamity. He had to stay alert for any Repliforce enemies - even if Seika High was in danger.
On the other hand, Misaki was worried about her boyfriend the most. After what happened to Silver Horn, she didn't want Tendou to fight any more of those mechanical monsters. She refused to see him killed. She would definitely keep her eyes on him when the next one shows up.
A tall, bald-headed figure in purple armor combined with scraps stood in front of the gate of Seika High and landed a hard punch, breaking the gate into two on the ground. With that, he proceeded forward with a sinister chuckle.
A loud stomping was heard from inside the classroom. The Seika High students assumed it was a prank, but tried their best to ignore it.
Misaki wanted to give that person a piece of her mind for making such noises later on.
Shortly...
*KA-BOOM! !*
The doors were broken down by an explosion, breaking them into pieces to the floor.
*insert Kamen Rider Fourze ost - God of Destruction*
Everyone in the classroom screamed in fear at the sudden explosion, engulfing with smoke. Scowling at the door, Tendou didn't expect an enemy would show up inside the school.
"Wh-What's going on! ?" the teacher asked frightfully.
A heavy footstep was heard as the tall, bald-headed humanoid figure with purple armor combined with scraps entered the classroom, grinning at the sight.
"Heeheehee... !"
The teacher and the students quickly backed away to the classroom from the tall, bald-headed armored humanoid's menacing appearance.
The tall, bald-headed purple armored scanned around and caught the sight of a certain girl with shoulder-length black hair, standing by the window; his evil smile grew wider.
"I've found you, girl!" he walked forward and smacked the tables and chairs in his path.
With a frightful gasp, the teacher and Seika High students quickly ran to the front side of the classroom. Misaki followed, but the latter already caught her neck with his right hand, lifting her in the air.
"AAAAAAHHHH! !"
"Heeheehee! The girl who was saved by Megaman!" he stated loudly with a grin.
"L-Let go!" Misaki demanded, trying to break free.
"No can do, girl! You are the key to bring out Megaman!"
"What kind of a monster are you! ?"
"I am Sigma, leader of the Repliforce army!"
(Sigma's armor is based on Megaman X4 without the reaper cloth.)
Widening her eyes in shock, Misaki couldn't believe her ears. "He's their leader! ?"
Tendou was beyond shocked at his answer. "H-He's Sigma! ? The Repliforce's leader! ?" he questioned inwardly in disbelief. He remembered his parents told him that they had a difficult time defeating Sigma back in their war.
"You're coming with me, girl!" Sigma said.
Tendou had to save Misaki and decided to take action as he grabbed the teacher desk.
"Tendou, what are you-!" the teacher tried to stop him, but failed to finish his sentence.
The spiky brown-haired lifted the desk in the air with his strength and smashed it on Sigma's back. However, the desk broke into pieces.
"Hmm?" Sigma turned to the attacker with a frown.
"HIYAA! !" Tendou took a small leap and landed a fierce punch on Sigma's face with his right fist.
"GAAAAAHHHH! !" Sigma stumbled backward and released Misaki from his right hand.
"Ow!" Misaki fell on her bottom and rubbed the small soreness.
"MISAKI, LET'S GO! !" Tendou took her left hand and dragged her to the hallway.
"RRRAAAHHH! ! DAMN, THAT HUMAN BOY! !" Sigma chased after them, smacking several tables from his path.
Tendou and Misaki ran their way to the hallway at a quick pace, looking for a place to hide. Tendou found an unused classroom and brought his girlfriend inside there before slamming the door shut. The two panted to catch their breath.
"WHY! ? WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME! ?" the black-haired girl asked in a panic, grasping her head.
Tendou stared at his girlfriend with a sympathetic look on his face. Clenching his fists in frustration, he had no choice but to tell her the truth about his identity.
"HE DOESN'T WANT YOU, MISAKI! ! HE WANTS ME! !" Tendou corrected her.
Misaki shot her head at him in confusion, "YOU! ? WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO WITH THIS! ?"
"BECAUSE I'M-"
*BOOM! !*
A loud boom was heard from the wall, interrupting him.
"AAAAAAHHHHH! !" Misaki shrieked in fright from the sudden outburst.
It was Sigma who rammed through the wall as a shortcut, "YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ME, GIRL! !"
"MISAKI, COME ON! !" Tendou opened the door and held her left wrist, leading her to the hallway again.
Misaki complied, running as fast as she could from that tall mechanical fiend.
"DAMN, THAT HUMAN BOY! !" Sigma grunted angrily. He bashed through the doors with his body and pursued them.
Tendou and Misaki continued to run for their lives from getting caught.
"TENDOU, IS THERE SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW! ?" she asked.
"MISAKI, THERE'S SOMETHING I'VE BEEN WANTING TO TELL YOU! !"
"WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANTED TO TELL ME! ?"
"THE TRUTH IS I AM-"
"GET BACK HERE! !" Sigma's loud voice was heard from behind as a yellow energy ball with electricity went over the two teenagers.
Tendou and Misaki stopped their track as the yellow ball collided on the wall with a loud explosion. They turned their backs and saw Sigma approaching them with heavy footsteps.
"Hand her over, boy!" Sigma ordered.
Tendou stood in front of Misaki, defending her. "WHY SHOULD I! ?" he retorted with a scowl.
Sigma pointed at Misaki with his right index finger, "That human girl is the perfect bait to draw out Megaman! NOW STEP ASIDE! !"
"NEVER! !" Tendou answered harshly.
"FINE, THEN! !" Sigma mechanically transformed his right arm into a cannon and took aim, "SHINE (DIE)! !" he fired his armed-cannon at him.
Tendou quickly shoved his girlfriend to the wall with his left hand, preventing to take the hit.
With a small groan, Misaki widened her eyes in horror. She couldn't believe he was willing to risk his life to save her again.
She screamed his name at the top of her lung, "TENDOU! ! !"

*KA-BOOM! !*
An explosion occurred outside of the second floor of Seika High.
The flinching Misaki didn't feel the impact, but wondering why she was still alive. She lowered her arms and saw thick smoke blocking her sight. As the smoke cleared, she widened her eyes again to see something that was impossible.
Her boyfriend held out his opened right hand, defending them with a blue oval-shaped barrier.
She recognized that barrier; it belonged to Megaman!
"WHAT'S THIS! ? A MERE HUMAN BOY CAN DO THAT! ?" Sigma questioned in bewilderment.
"Tendou... how are you... ?" Unable to finish her question, Misaki slightly lowered her head and, once again, gasped at the unexpected sight. There was a silver belt strap around his waist, equipped with a familiar dark blue Hunter-VG. "That's... a Hunter-VG... ?" she gasped again, returning her eyes at him.
It could only mean one thing.
As the blue oval-shaped barrier faded, Tendou lowered his right arm and gave Sigma his death glare.
"Henshin." he called out coldly as his body was consumed by a ball of light.
"Aahh!" Misaki blocked the bright light with her arms. As the light faded slowly, she lowered her arms, and her eyes went wider than before in astonishment. "N-No way... " she couldn't believe her own two eyes.
"NANI (WHAT)! ?" Sigma widened his, didn't expect this.
The light faded completely and revealed Megaman, transformed by none other than her boyfriend.
His armors were dark blue. He had wings of Cygnus Noise form. His helmet had no spiky hair. His lens was red, and a silver mask below it. His streamlines were green.
"Tendou... You're... You're... " Trembling, Misaki's voice shook and failed to form a sentence.
Megaman (Tendou) turned to Misaki shortly and faced away, lowering his head with a regretful look behind his helmet. Clenching his fists, his face changed back into a scowl and dashed forward at a quick speed. He extracted two red blades on his forearms and collided on Sigma, but blocked by his right armed-cannon.
"IMPOSSIBLE! ! YOU'RE THE WINGED MEGAMAN! ?" Sigma asked in disbelief.
"HIYA! ! HIYA! ! HIYAA! !" Megaman (Tendou) swung his armed-blades several times as Sigma reverted his right armed-cannon back to his arm before giving him a fierce punch, "AAAAAHHHHHH! !" he landed on the floor with a thud.
Misaki froze in a state of shock, unable to move herself to help him.
"Uugghh!" Megaman (Tendou) groaned, getting up slowly.
Sigma growled in frustration and changed his right arm back into a cannon. He aimed his armed-cannon at the dark blue armored Megaman.
Megaman (Tendou) gasped and realized Misaki was standing next to him at the wall. "MISAKI! !" he stood in front of her with his arms around her, shielding her with his body.
An explosion occurred on the second floor of Seika High again.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH! !" Megaman (Tendou) cried, falling down from the thick smoke with Misaki in his arms. He landed his back on the ground with a loud thud. "Aaaaahhhh!"
"T-Tendou... you... you... " Failing to speak, Misaki slowly lifted herself in surprise to see him protecting her with his own body.
The Seika High students heard the explosion nearby as they sprinted their way to the windows and unexpectedly saw a certain hero outside of their school.
"Hey, look, it's Megaman!"
"Megaman! ? Where did he come from! ?"
"Why is Kaichou out there with him! ?"
"G-Get up... Get up!" Misaki pleaded, finally found her voice. She quickly lifted his left arm up as Megaman (Tendou) complied slowly.
"MISAKI! !" Sakura's voice was heard.
Megaman (Tendou) and Misaki turned to see Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio heading their way to them.
"Misaki, what's going on! ?" Sakura asked, "We saw you and new kid running down the hallway!"
"Where did he go?" Shizuko followed.
"Kaichou, who was that monster! ?" Yukimura added.
"Megaman, let me help!" Kanou assisted Misaki, carrying him on his right side.
Sigma leaped out of the smoke from the second floor and landed on the ground with a thud. Glaring his blue eyes at the dark blue armored Megaman, he wanted some answers from him.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! ! A MONSTER! !" The Moron Trio screamed fearfully in unison.
Groaning, Megaman (Tendou) quickly removed his arms from Misaki as Kanou stepped forward. "You guys better get inside! It's dangerous!" he ordered.
"But Megaman, where's new kid! ?" Sakura asked.
"He's not dead, is he! ?" Yukimura added.
Megaman (Tendou) turned to them and raised his voice in a harsh tone, "I SAID GET INSIDE! !"
They were frightened at his sudden tone and immediately complied.
"M-Misaki, come on!" Sakura grabbed her friend's left wrist, but the black-haired girl didn't move. "Misaki?" she turned to her friend in confusion.
"Misaki, what's wrong?" Shizuko asked in concern.
"Kaichou, are you okay! ?" Kanou followed.
Misaki didn't answer them. She was still in a state of shock, staring at the dark blue armored Megaman with a paled look.
"Misaki, what happened to new kid! ?" Sakura asked.
"That monster didn't kill him, right! ?" Yukimura added.
"H-He's... He's... "
Sigma aimed his right armed-cannon at him with a glare.
Gasping, Megaman (Tendou) turned his back and saw the group didn't go inside the school building. "Oh no!" he faced Sigma, then the group, refusing to dodge nor let them die. Facing forward, he quickly raised both arms in a defensive stance and formed two blue hexagon-shaped energy shields on his forearms to protect them.
Sigma fired his armed-cannon thrice at the dark blue armored Megaman.
"AAHHH! !" The first one knocked his right arm away due to the heavy power, "AAAAHHHH! !" the second knocked his left as both his armed-shields were cancelled, "GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! !" And finally, the third collided on his torso with an explosion, sending him flying. He passed through the group and crashed on the ground with a thud.
"MEGAMAN! !" Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio shouted. Misaki gasped, didn't say a word.
A flash of light occurred on Megaman's armor, forcibly cancelling his transformation. The light faded and reverted back to Tendou.
"Aaaaaaahhhh!" the spiky brown-haired clutched his chest from the impact with his eyes shut.
A loud gasp was heard from the group. From the window, the rest of the Seika High students widened their eyes in complete shock to witness their hero's true identity.
Every Seika High student was beyond shocked.
"No way!" Yukimura started.
"Megaman's identity... " Sakura followed.
"IS NEW KID! ?" the Moron Trio finished loudly in disbelief.
Misaki was shocked the most. She dropped to her knees and wished this was a dream.
Hissing from the pain, Tendou slowly sat up and saw the group had shocked looks on their faces. His eyes widened in shock as he checked his hands, realizing his transformation was cancelled. His identity was exposed right before them!
"Oh no!" he gasped.
Sigma made a long leap over the eight teenagers and landed in front of Tendou as he grabbed the boy's neck with his left hand.
"Aack!" Tendou tried smacking the latter's hand, but failed.
Sigma examined the teenager's face with an unimpressed look, "Just as I thought... you're not the same boy from 23 years ago!" he claimed suspiciously.
"Not the same boy?" Sakura asked in confusion.
"What's he talking about?" Yukimura added.
Misaki recovered and suddenly remembered that same question over and over again from each of the mechanical monsters.
The first one was Wind Crowrang, "Aaaaahh! Wh-What the hell are you! ? You're not the same Megaman!"
The second was Spark Mandrill, "Impossible! You can't be the same Megaman! W-Who are you! ?"
The third was Mattrex, "OOOOOOOWWWWWW! ! MY TEETH! ! WHAT THE HELL IS WITH YOUR ARMOR! ? WHAT KIND OF A MEGAMAN ARE YOU! ?"
The fourth was Frost Walrus, "WH-WHAT KIND OF A MEGAMAN ARE YOU! ?"
The fifth was Grizzly Slash, "What kind of a Megaman are you! ?"
The sixth was Magma Dragoon, "So you're the winged Megaman? You're very different than the previous one."
And the last one was Silver Horn, "So you're Megaman? Funny, I don't remember you having wings before."
Sigma brought the boy up-close and gave him a loud demand, "TELL ME WHERE IS MEGAMAN FROM 23 YEARS AGO! !"
Tendou didn't bother answering but responded with a scowl as a flash of light shined on his dark blue Hunter-VG.
"What's this! ?" Sigma questioned in confusion, dropping the teenage boy to the ground.
On cue, the light faded as Draco appeared and landed a swift kick at Sigma's torso.
"GAAAAHHH! !" Sigma stumbled backward lightly and widened his eyes at the familiar appearance, "Magma Dragoon! ? Wait, you're not Magma Dragoon!"
"IS THAT NEW KID'S COSPLAYING FRIEND! ?" The Moron Trio questioned in confusion.
"Draco! ?" Misaki widened her eyes in surprise to see his sudden arrival from the Hunter-VG.
Standing in front of his partner, the Imagin dragon inhaled deeply and released a supersonic dragon roar at the enemy. "RRRRAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWHHHHHHH! ! !"
Sakura, Shizuko, Yukimura, and Kanou widened their eyes in astonishment at the cosplaying dragon's attack.
"NANI (WHAT)! ?" Sigma quickly defended himself with his arms and took the hit.
"MINNA (EVERYONE), DON'T JUST STAND THERE! !" Misaki ordered as the eight teenagers quickly stepped away from the fight.
Sigma managed to withstand the hit as the supersonic roar repelled him to the tracking field fence. As the supersonic roar subsided, he made a slow brake by dragging his feet to the ground. "What kind of power was that! ? What the hell are you! ?" he asked with a growl.
Draco turned to the injured teenager and held his right arm, lifting him to his feet, "Master Tendou, are you okay?"
"I-It is Draco, b-but how's he-" Before Misaki could finish her thought, she was interrupted by the Seika High students from the windows.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! ! ! A DRAGON MONSTER! ! !" they screamed frightfully.
Draco turned to the students from the windows before asking, "Master Tendou, we've been exposed! What should we do! ?"
"Simple!" Tendou removed his right arm from his partner, "We'll keep fighting!" he clenched his fists before calling his transformation, "Henshin!" his body was consumed by a ball of light and transformed into his Megaman form once again.
His armors were dark blue. He had wings of Cygnus Noise form. His helmet had no spiky hair. His lens was red, and a silver mask below it. His streamlines were green.
"NO WAY! !" Sakura gasped.
"How is it possible?" Shizuko adjusted her glasses.
"Tell me this is a dream!" Yukimura pleaded in fright.
"New kid is... " Kanou stuttered, failed to finish his sentence.
The Moron Trio was bewildered at the unbelievable sight. They pinched each others' cheeks very hard to proof they weren't dreaming.
"NEW KID IS MEGAMAN! ?" Shirokawa shouted in disbelief.
"HIS COSPLAYING FRIEND ISN'T HUMAN AT ALL! ?" Ryuunosuke followed.
"WE WERE RESCUED BY NEW KID THE ENTIRE TIME! ?" Sarashira added.
From the windows, the Seika High students dropped their mouths in utter disbelief at Tendou's transformation. They finally figured out why his strength was very abnormal. It was because he was actually Megaman the whole time!
"Draco." Megaman (Tendou) spoke.
"Hai." Draco nodded and made a small jump, transforming into his Sword Form.
-His legs turned into a blade. His body transformed into a shield. His left arm became an attachment with his legs. His right arm transformed into a hilt. His head was in the front of the shield.-
Wielding Draco Sword, Megaman (Tendou) formed his swordsman stance, "Hya!"
Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio were shocked to see Draco transformed into a sword. Misaki was familiar with it the other day with the four-legged mechanical spider monster.
"WHAT IS HE! ?" The Moron Trio shouted in unison.
Megaman (Tendou) jumped up high and raised Draco Sword in the air, "SutaaFoosu Surasshu (StarForce Slash)!" Swinging downward, he sent out a large blue crescent sonic boom at Sigma.
Sigma lifted his head and fired lasers from his eyes, colliding both of their attacks with an explosion. Another large blue crescent sonic boom made its way through the thick smoke.
"What the! ?" Sigma was too late to dodge as the crescent sonic boom struck him, slicing his left shoulder with a loud slash. His left arm dropped to the ground with a thud. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! !" he cried in agony, but stopped quickly. "Wait a minute... Why's there no pain?" he questioned in confusion.
Megaman (Tendou) landed on the ground and flitted towards the Repliforce leader, "IT'S OVER, SIGMA! !" he claimed victoriously, preparing to strike him with Draco Sword.
"Grrrrr!" Sigma stood there, unable to parry him.
Megaman (Tendou) was about to swing Draco Sword, but met a sudden punch on the right side of his ribs. "AAAHHH! !" Sending him flying, he crashed on the ground with a thud and dropped Draco Sword.
"Master Tendou!" Draco Sword called worriedly.
"EEEEEEHHHH! ! HE CAN TALK LIKE THAT! ?" Yukimura and the Moron Trio shouted in fright.
Misaki widened her eyes in surprise. She didn't expect Draco could talk in his Dragon Sword.
Groaning, Megaman (Tendou) stood up and couldn't believe his eyes at his interrupter. It was Sigma's left arm he just sliced, and it was flying on its own.
Sigma stared at his flying left arm in confusion. It retrieved its way back and connected to his shoulder. He had no idea what just happened as he moved his left hand.
"What did Gate do to my body! ?"
"I forgot to inform something important to Master Sigma about his new body." Gate spoke in realization.
"What about his new body?" VileTora asked bitterly.
"I didn't get a chance to analyze his new body after I re-energize it. I'm sure he doesn't know how to use his new power." the humanoid scientist noted.
Draco Sword reverted to Draco and helped Megaman (Tendou) to his feet.
"Draco, protect Misaki and the rest!" Megaman (Tendou) ordered his partner.
"Hai!" Draco nodded and leaped his way to the eight teenagers, landing in front of them.
Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio were afraid of him after seeing he wasn't really a cosplayer.
"Draco... you're not cosplaying... are you?" Misaki asked hesitantly.
The Imagin dragon slightly lowered his head, refusing to lie to her. "I'm afraid not, Misaki. I am an Imagin, not a human being." he answered her truthfully.
"I-Imagin?" the long black-haired girl repeated, feeling confused at the unknown word.
"Are you really a monster?" Kanou asked, trying his best to stay calm.
"I am, but I'm not that kind of a monster." Draco replied, raising his head to keep his eyes at the enemy.
Sigma moved his left hand until several blue energy blasts shot his legs. "DAAAHH! !" the energy blasts turned them into ice, freezing his legs on the ground. "DAMN IT! !" Cursing at himself, he tried to break free, but made a small crack on the right.
Megaman (Tendou) mechanically reverted his right armed-cannon into his arm, "I won't let you cause any more danger in this school, Sigma!" he took his stance, preparing to finish him in one strike, "THIS ENDS NOW! !" he sprinted forward and leaped in the air, extending his right leg as the right foot shined yellow. "SUTAAFOOSU KIKKU (STARFORCE KICK)! !"
Sigma manageably smashed the ice on his right leg, but didn't have enough time to do it on the left. He noticed the dark blue armored Megaman was reaching close to him.
"Desu Booru (Death Ball)!" A large blue energy sphere with electricity shot in the air and collided on Megaman (Tendou) with a spark of an explosion.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! !" the light on his right foot subsided as he fell on the ground with a thud.
Every Seika High student gasped with their eyes widened to see him interrupted by a new attacker.
A tall robotic figure in black armor with golden wrists descended from the air and landed next to Sigma. "Master Sigma, allow me to be of assistance." it said before smashing the ice on the left leg with its right fist.
"High Max, you deal with the winged Megaman, and I want him alive!" Sigma ordered as the purple-ish black portal appeared behind him. "Mark my word, Megaman! I'll be back for you later!" he jumped into the portal as it vanished into thin air.
(High Max was from Megaman X6.)
"GATE, WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BODY! ?" Sigma's voice boomed in the throne room, approaching the humanoid scientist with loud stomping.
"I'm working on the analysis of your new power, Master Sigma." Gate answered, pressing several buttons on the machine.
Huffing angrily, Sigma turned to VileTora and landed a fierce punch on the helmet.
"OW! ! OI (HEY), WHAT THE HELL DID YOU HIT ME FOR! ?" VileTora demanded, feeling glad his helmet protected his head from the impact.
"YOU AND YOUR RIDICULOUS DIRECTION, TORA! ! I GOT LOST IN THE HUMAN WORLD FOR AN HOUR, AND THEY THOUGHT I WAS "COSPLAYING"! !" Sigma held a paper that had a drawn map on his right hand, "WHAT KIND OF STUPID MAP DID YOU GIVE ME! ? IT'S TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND! !"
"MY DIRECTION WAS PERFECTLY FLAWLESS! ! HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET LOST ON A SIMPLE MAP IN ONE HOUR! ?"
"HAHAHAHA! ! TORA, YOU SUCK AT THIS! !" Vile laughed at his partner.
"SHUT UP, TIN-CAN! !"
Megaman (Tendou) stood back up with a grunt, "Kugh! Great... just when I was about to beat Sigma... " he formed his fighting stance. He had no choice but to fight the new enemy.
High Max raised his fists in a fighting stance, "Time to dispose of you." he stated before charging towards his enemy at a quick speed.
Clenching his fists, Megaman (Tendou) flitted forward as they collided their fists with loud bashing sounds. The two continued punching each other one after another. High Max noticed his enemy starting to slow down from the battle earlier as he landed several devastating punches on the dark blue armored Megaman's torso.
"AAHH! ! GAAHH! ! DAAAAHHH! !"
"Muda da (It's useless), Megaman. You cannot surpass me." High Max said, engulfing his fists with two large blue energy spheres with electricity. "Desu Booru (Death Ball)!" he pummeled him repeatedly at a rapid speed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! !" Megaman (Tendou) cried in agony from each of the fierce blows. He failed to parry from the multiple punches. High Max gave him one last punch and sent him flying to the wall with a loud crash. "Uuuuugghhhh... " Groaning weakly, he dropped flatly to the ground with a thud.
Subsiding both large blue energy spheres with electricity on his fists, High Max turned to Draco and the eight frightened teenagers and walked towards them.
Misaki, Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio didn't know what to do. They froze in terror at the tall black armored robot as he stopped his track.
"Time to terminate you humans." High Max held out both hands, charging blue energies, "Desu Booru (Death Ball)!" he fired several blue energy spheres with electricity at them.
Draco prepared to counter with a small inhale, but a figure suddenly stood in front of him.
Misaki, Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio widened their eyes in surprise to see Megaman (Tendou), who spread his arms to protect them.
The blue energy spheres with electricity made their hits on Megaman (Tendou) with several sparks of explosions.
*BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !* *BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !*
"AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHH! !" he cried in agony, taking each and every one of the electrical spheres on his body.
Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio couldn't believe their eyes. He risked his own life to protect them. From the windows, the Seika High students didn't expect him to do such a thing.
High Max stopped firing and lowered his arms.
Dropping his arms, Megaman (Tendou) stumbled heavily, but managed to stand still with a painful groan. He refused to fall down.
"Bakana (Impossible). How are you still alive?" High Max questioned stoically.
"T-Tendou... are you... okay?" Misaki asked hesitatingly.
The dark blue armored Megaman clenched his fists in anger. He was furious at his enemy for trying to kill Misaki and the rest.
"G-Get inside... " Megaman (Tendou) spoke weakly, trying to stay calm.
"B-But... you're-" Sakura didn't get to finish as he quickly faced them.
"I SAID GET INSIDE NOW! !" Megaman (Tendou) raised his voice in a harsh tone.
Misaki, Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio froze in horror at his tone. The last part of his word didn't sound human. It sounded monster-like as if he was another person. Without another word, they immediately obeyed him and ran towards the school building.
Draco followed and opened the glass door for them, "Quick, get inside!"
The group entered the building as Misaki was the last one to enter.
"D-Draco, what about you?" she asked.
"I'll stay on guard! You guys, please stay inside!" The Imagin dragon closed the glass door on them.
"Wait, was he being polite! ? He is a monster, right! ?" Sakura noticed his behavior.
"Misaki, tell us what's going on." Shizuko pleaded.
"Well, I-I... I don't know anymore!" the long black-haired girl grasped her head in bewilderment.
As Draco closed the door, he gave his partner a nod.
Megaman (Tendou) nodded back and faced the tall black armored robot. He wanted to make him pay for trying to kill them in a dastardly way. Reaching his hands to the edge of Cygnus Noise wings, he detached them and tossed them at High Max, spinning as if they were boomerangs.
"Muda da (It's useless)." High Max simply punched the spinning wings, sending them back.
Jumping in the air, Megaman (Tendou) caught his wings and attached them together, changing them into a twinblade with a hilt.
"Tsuin Wingu Soudo (Twin Wing Sword)!" he twirled his weapon before forming a stance.
Every Seika High student was amazed to see his wings turned into a weapon, including Misaki's group.
Wielding his combined wings as a weapon, Megaman (Tendou) flitted towards the tall black armored robot.
"Muda da (It's useless), Megaman. You cannot-" Unable to finish, the twinblade made contact on his torso with a large slash. "Aaarrrgghhhh!"
"RAAAHHH! ! RRAAAAHHHH! ! RRAAAAHHHHH! !" In a fit of rage, Megaman (Tendou) swung his twinblade at a breakneck speed, giving him multiple slashes one after another.
*SLASH! !* *SLASH! !* *SLASH! !* *SLASH! !* *SLASH! !*
"Aaarrrgghhhh! Aaarrrgghhhh!" High Max failed to counter and stumbled from each of his attacks, "Where is he getting all this power from?"
Megaman (Tendou) backed away a bit as his Twin Wing Sword began to shine. He leaped in the air and raised his weapon upwardly. "MEGA WINGU SURASSHU (MEGA WING SLASH)! !" he swung his weapon horizontally and landed behind High Max. He removed his combined weapon and attached his Cygnus Noise wings on his back.
Frozen in his spot, High Max hadn't moved for a moment. On cue, his head fell forward and dropped to the ground with a thump. He was decapitated. Electricity surged through the black armor as the body and sliced head exploded in defeat.
*BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !*
Megaman (Tendou) turned his back and walked towards the Seika High building. Once again, a black aura appeared on his body momentarily, revealing a transparent Megaman in pitch-black armor and glowing crimson red lens, and vanished. This time, the pitch-black armor had a gold lining.
Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio gasped at the sight. They thought they saw a small glimpse of their savior in black armor.
"W-Was that a black Megaman! ?" Shirokawa asked through trembling.
"I-It looks like Megaman... " Sarashira answered frightfully.
"But that looks even scarier than new kid!" Ryuunosuke pointed.
"I'm scared!" Yukimura shivered with small tears in his eyes.
"What was that?" Kanou asked.
"Shizuko, what's going to happen to us! ?" Sakura asked her friend.
"I'm not sure myself." the short black-haired answered.
Misaki remembered the same situation. It happened right after he defeated the Noise Jammer the other night in his Gorilla form. She wasn't sure what was going on anymore.
The Seika High students backed away from the windows; part of them was amazed at the fight, and part of them was scared of him.
Megaman (Tendou) cancelled his transformation and removed the Hunter-VG from his waist, putting it back in his pocket. The spiky brown-haired had a sad look on his face. He knew this day would come.
Unfortunately, he wasn't fully aware of the black aura.
Draco approached the teenager, "Master Tendou?"
"Draco, it's time to tell Misaki the truth about us."
In the classroom
The Seika High students murmured to each other at the craziest scene they had witnessed.
"I've never thought new kid would be Megaman."
"Seriously, it was unexpected."
"I knew there was something strange about new kid."
"I thought Megaman was the legendary hero?"
"Same here!"
Sitting on her chair, Misaki was still in a state of shock with her hands on her head. She knew there was something strange about her boyfriend, but not like this.
Suddenly, something hit her hard!
The black-haired girl remembered all the battles with the mechanical monsters, and Tora and the Miyabigaoka High.
It was Tendou who had been protecting her and Seika High the entire time!
And most importantly, he saved her life and her father's!
She didn't know anything about him - until now!
He was actually Megaman!
Now she knew where he got that strength and speed from!
Then, another one hit her!
MegaBot didn't belong to Megaman.
It belonged to Tendou!
Her head downcast, feeling bad for that.
However, there was one more mystery that remained unsolved.
His five strange behaviors with different hair streak colors!
Not just Tendou, Draco as well. He looked like he was cosplaying, but he was actually a monster the entire time!
Tendou walked inside the classroom slowly through the broken door, and Draco followed behind him.
The two stood in front of the chalkboard, facing every student in the classroom. The Seika High students turned to them as Misaki lifted her head up to face the two.
Tendou took a deep breath before speaking, "Minna (Everyone), as you all witnessed that fight... Ore wa (I am) Megaman." he confessed in a calm manner, "And... there's more than that. I'm a StarForce, and I'm an agent of WAZA HQ."
Everyone gasped in utter disbelief.
Most of all, Misaki widened her eyes in complete shock to hear his secret.
"A-An agent of WAZA HQ?"
