Chapter 38: The Death of Megaman
(Misaki POV)
My name is Ayuzawa Misaki. I'm 17 years old, and I worked at Maid Latte. I'm a Kaichou of Seika High, and I'm the first female to be the... Hey, wait a minute! Am I really narrating? ...Uh, okay... Ahem! As I was saying, you can tell that Seika High used to be an all-boys school, but a few years later it became a co-ed school. The school consisted of 80% boys and 20% girls. Don't let it get to you. I was the first female to become the Kaichou of Seika. This school had a bad reputation for a few years, and most of the boys are very undisciplined. They liked to walk around half naked, leave so many smelly things around, harass the girls, and many more I cannot list. All the powerless girls could do in front of those savage boys throwing their weight around was to endure the horror. Now that I had the Kaichou title, I refused to let the boys do whatever they please! I worked hard enough to control the boys as if they were dogs.
Not just the boys, I hated men. Well, you see, it happened seven years ago because of my father, who left us to find his missing friend with a heavy debt. I was heartbroken when he left. He was the real reason why I despised men. With my father not around, I had to find myself a part-time job, and I kept it a secret from everyone at school - including my friends.
One morning, I was on my way to school and caught three upperclassmen picking a fight on the new student with spiky brown hair. I stopped them from happening, but what I didn't expect the new student was handsome - not to mention he had a girl's face. At first, I actually thought the new student was a girl! His name was Tendou Stelar, who transferred from Echo Ridge High, and a strange guy too. Want to guess who was the first to discover my part-time job? That's right, Tendou Stelar, the transfer student. Not just him, he had a cosplaying friend named Draco. It felt very awkward to have him in the café. And on that night while I was on my home, I was attacked by four scary monsters in black armor, aka Noise Jammers. Guess who saved me? Bingo! A superhero saved my life, and his name was Megaman! The Legendary Megaman! I was surprised to see him taking down four Noise Jammers single-handedly. Megaman was my hero, and I owed him a debt! I didn't expect to see two things happened in one day.
Anyways, as days went by, Tendou had never interacted with other students in school. I didn't understand why he was so distant. Later on, the three upperclassmen that bullied Tendou tried to violate me in broad daylight. I couldn't use my aikido on them, but I was saved by Tendou with yellow eyes and a ponytail - somehow. I met his family later on, and they were nice people.
He and Draco kept coming to Maid Latte as regular customers. Not much later, he asked me about my part-time job, and I told him about my family's situation. And you know what? Tendou was sympathetic towards me and kind enough to keep my part-time job a secret from everyone. That was our agreement.
However, things changed. Tendou wasn't like other men. He was neither foul, heartless, savage, and a tyrant. And each day, I started to know him. As days passed by, I began to respect his personality, and I liked him that way. Whenever Seika High was attacked by mechanical monsters, Megaman made his debut to stop them. Megaman became quite popular at Seika High ever since the School Festival. Well, that wasn't the only case, every time there was a monster at Seika High, Megaman showed up! Whenever Megaman arrived, Tendou disappeared. The more I knew about Tendou and Megaman, I sensed a strong similarity between them. Later on, those two had been saving my life numerous times. Whenever I was near them, I felt safe, and my heart would beat faster. And I started to develop a feeling for those two, but couldn't decide who to choose.
What really got me confused the most was his five strange behaviors with different hairstyles. The more I witnessed his strange behavior one after another, the more confused I get. The only answer I had for his strange behaviors was this... he was possessed by evil spirits. It may sound crazy, but it was the only conclusion I have.
Back when Sakura, Shizuko, and I followed Tendou to find out more about him, we didn't know he worked at WAZA HQ. We were amazed to see the statues of the Legendary StarForce, who saved Earth from the Repliforce 23 years ago. And the Megaman with wings, who saved my life that night, was actually the new Megaman. A crime fighter too!
Tendou asked me out on my birthday. Well, I wasn't expecting him to take me on a date. I didn't hesitate, so I accepted it. He took me to Spica Mall - on a motorcycle! Wait a minute, does he even have a driver license? I'm gonna ask him that later. I felt like I'd been to Spica Mall before, but I couldn't remember. What I didn't expect on my birthday was a monster causing havoc. And not only that, Megaman came and defeated the phoenix monster! I realized I'm starting to acknowledge my feelings for Tendou than Megaman. I actually liked him more than that. His family invited my mother and Suzuna to celebrate my birthday at WAZA HQ altogether. I hadn't celebrated my birthday in a long time. My present was a Hunter-VG that looked identical to Megaman on his belt! I didn't know he was that thoughtful.
On the day of his mother's concert, I was touched when he sang a song for me, and we became a couple.
And after that, my father returned, and he was working at Maid Latte. When I saw his face, I was beyond livid, to tell you the truth. He was the man I trusted the most, and I couldn't forgive him for leaving us. However, Megaman saved my father and opened my eyes. For these past seven years, I actually missed him.
Until one day, Seika High was attacked by the Repliforce leader. And not too soon, I found out the most shocking thing: My boyfriend, Tendou, transformed into Megaman - right before my eyes! I always thought he was a Megaman fanboy, but not Megaman himself. And Draco was actually a monster, too! Well, a friendly polite monster that is. And his strange behaviors were actually from his five evil spirit monsters! They weren't just evil spirit monsters, they were actually Kamen Riders! I should stop right there because this is giving me a headache.
I really appreciated him for saving my life, my father, and everyone. Maybe more than that.
If it weren't for Tendou, Seika High would still have its bad reputation, and there won't be any more girls to enroll this school.
And right now, Tendou was out there fighting the leader on his own.
Ever since I found out Tendou was Megaman, there was one concerned question that had been on my mind.
Can he save Earth from the Repliforce by himself?
*KA-BOOM! !*
A loud explosion occurred in the sky. People shrieked in fright from the sudden explosion and turned their attention to the source. Two figures came out of the thick smoke.
The first one was Sigma, and the second was Red Ace Megaman (Tendou).
Flying forward, Sigma turned his back and fired laser eyes at the red armored Megaman.
Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) brought up his left arm and formed a blue hexagon-shaped energy shield to block the lasers. With a small explosion, he cancelled his left armed-shield and continued to flit forward. Unexpectedly, Sigma appeared before him and landed a fierce punch on the torso. "Aaaaahhhh!" Sending him flying, he cried and crashed through the glass window with a loud shatter.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! !" Several people shrieked from the sudden crash and kept their distance.
As the smoke cleared, they were surprised to see a certain hero on the floor.
"Hey, it's Megaman!"
"What happened to him?"
Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) groaned as he stood back up, shaking his head for a moment.
Sigma landed on the broken window as the people ran away in fright at his arrival. Before he could make his next attack, Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) sallied at a quick speed and tackled Sigma off the building along with him.
"GAAAHHH! !"
As the two plunged their way down, Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) and Sigma repeatedly bashed each other with their fierce punches. Falling close to the ground, Sigma grabbed the dark red armor winged Megaman's neck.
"GACK! !" Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) cried, trying to release the latter's grip.
Smirking, Sigma made a quick turn and threw him to the ground.
"AAAAAHHHH! !" Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) landed on the ground with a loud crash.
The scrap armored Sigma landed his feet on top of the car, wrecking it with a loud shatter. The dark red armor winged Megaman grunted from the fall as he stood back up to his feet.
Frowning his eyes, Sigma stared at his enemy and thought for a moment. "This human boy is completely different from the original Megaman... He doesn't fight like him... Just who the hell is he! ? Whatever! I'll make him tell me about the original Megaman!" he jumped forward and aimed his right fist at the enemy.
Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) leaped backward in the air as Sigma collided his fist on the ground with a loud slam. He transformed his arms into gatling and took aim, firing multiple bullets at high-speed.
Sigma raised his arms in a defensive stance and blocked the raining bullets. "GRRRR! !" he grunted, enduring every single bullet.
Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) reverted his armed-gatlings back into his arms and extracted a red blade on the right forearm. Landing on the ground, a large massive of crimson red Noise engulfed the blade as if it was a flame.
Sigma lowered his arms and glared at the dark red armored Megaman.
Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) took his stance and charged up enough power to take his enemy down in one strike. He sallied towards Sigma for his finishing attack.
NOIZU FOOSU BIGGU BAN (NOISE FORCE BIG BANG)!
REDDO ENDO DESTORIOYAA (RED END DESTROYER)!
Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) thrust forward his flaming right armed-blade at Sigma with everything he had. However, the scrap armored Sigma grew a smirk. When the crimson red Noise flaming blade was about to make contact, Sigma instantly leaped in the air.
The dark red armored Megaman stopped in his track and laid his dagger eyes at Sigma. "N-Nani (What)! ?" he widened them in astonishment and couldn't believe his own eyes.
Sigma hovered in mid-air with his disconnected limbs - except his head and torso were still connected.
"HAHAHAHAHA! ! WHAT'S THE MATTER, BOY! ? DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING! ?"
The crimson red Noise flaming blade faded as Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) slightly trembled at the sight. He recognized that ability. "No way... he copied Turn X's detachable ability?" he questioned in disbelief.
"I have no idea what this "Turn X" is all about, but its ability suits me!" Sigma claimed and started his attack. His left arm flew towards Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) at a quick speed and caught his neck.
"GAAAAAHHHH! !" he cried, unable to break free.
The left arm lifted him in the air as the right arm mechanically transformed into a cannon. Sigma fired his laser eyes and his right armed-cannon at the grabbed enemy.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! !" Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) cried, taking every hit from Sigma's attacks with multiple sparks of explosion on his body.
*KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !*
Sigma stopped firing and brought his floating left arm to him as Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) groaned heavily from the impact. "Alright, boy, start talking! Tell me... WHERE IS THE ORIGINAL MEGAMAN FROM 23 YEARS GO! ?" he demanded loudly in a harsh tone.
Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) opened his eyes behind the red lens, "Grr... Never!" he answered coldly.
Scowling deeply at him, Sigma threw him forward to the ground and bellowed. "FINE! ! THEN, I'LL FORCE IT OUT OF YOU! !"
Red Ace Megaman (Tendou) managed to use his wings for landing before crashing on the ground. Panting for a moment, he wanted to end his fight as soon as possible before his body collapsed. He stood up with a grunt and crossed his arms in an X. On cue, a ball of crimson red Noise engulfed his body as he began his second transformation.
FAINARAIZU (FINALIZE)!
BURAKKU JOOKAA (BLACK JOKER)!
The ball of crimson red Noise vanished and revealed his new transformation based on Red Joker, but with more armor. His armor was mostly black with light green lining. His helmet remained the same with a U-shaped on the forehead. He had a black mask below the red lens. His Meteor Noise Generators were attached on the back of his shoulders, both spinning at a rapid speed.
Black Joker Megaman (Tendou) formed his fighting stance with a low grunt.
Both arms and legs connected back to Sigma's torso as he landed on the ground with a thud. He stared deeply at the winged-black-armored enemy and immediately recognized that appearance. Just the spiky-haired Megaman, he had the same transformation in red armor.
"That boy knows something about the original Megaman! I'll make him tell me about his whereabouts!" Sigma thought before clenching his fists, "READY, BOY! ?"
"BRING IT ON! !" Black Joker Megaman (Tendou) responded.
The two fighters bolted forward and pulled their right fists. They collided their fists together and burst out electricity around them with several explosions.
From the sky, VileTora was on his way to find Sigma and Megaman (Tendou) along with the army of Noise Jammers. Grinning behind the visor, he was delighted that he killed Tendou's dragon monster friend with his own hand. However, he wasn't satisfied yet. He caught sight of a large electricity burst in the air on the street as he descended his way down.
VileTora landed on the roof along with the Noise Jammers and saw Sigma and Megaman in his new armor, bashing each other with their fists. "Damn, guess I'm a little late to fight him. Okay, Noise Jammers, stay put until I give you the signal!" he ordered them and turned back to the fight. "Just you wait... until you start to get exhausted, I'll wait for the right moment to trap you with my Netto Burasuto (Net Blast) on you and achieve my victory!" he pictured the finishing blow in his mind, and couldn't wait to get his ultimate prize.
The silver armored sat on the ledge and watched the two fighters taking each other out.
WAZA HQ
Sakuya entered the main entrance along with Minako and the Maid Latte staffs. Minako and the Maid Latte staffs were amazed to see the statues of the Legendary Starforce right before their eyes. However, Satsuki made a quick recovery from her sadness. She was ecstatic to see her heroes from her childhood as she stood in front of the statues one by one.
Honoka, Erika, and Subaru ran over to their manager and stopped her overexcitement. Minako stared at the statues in wonder.
"Don't worry! We'll be safe here! This place is protected by their flying robot thingies!" Sakuya assured them as he saw a certain father standing with Ace at the control room.
Geo, Ace, Tia, and Jack were watching the screen, showing a fight between Black Joker Megaman (Tendou) and Sigma. The four of them had worried looks on their faces.
"Geo, are you sure Tendou is okay out there! ? He looks hurt!" Jack asked his friend.
"I'm not exactly sure right now!" Geo quickly answered. The former fighter laid his eyes at the fiend who killed him once when he was a teenager. "Sigma showed up out of nowhere and started a war right now with-" he was cut off by a hand on his right shoulder as the latter turned him around. Taken by surprise, Geo didn't expect to see Sakuya at this moment. Not just him, his wife and the Maid Latte staffs were behind the sushi chef.
The spiky black-haired man held his shoulders with a serious look, "GEO, YOUR SON WAS MEGAMAN THIS WHOLE TIME! ?"
Hearing that question gave everyone in the control room a shock, including Geo, Ace, Tia, and Jack.
The four of them dropped their faces and felt their bodies sank.
In their minds: "OH CRAP! !"
The front entrance was opened as Sonia sprinted her way to the control room. "GEO, IT'S OUR SON! ! HE'S-" she immediately stopped and saw Misaki's parents and the Maid Latte staffs in front of her husband. The Maid Latte staffs turned their sights to the former singer as Sonia winced at their eyes. "Oh no... "
On cue, Satsuki quickly approached towards Sonia and held her shoulders. "SONIA, HOW IS TENDOU MEGAMAN! ? HOW IS HE ABLE TO FIGHT ALL THOSE SCARY MONSTERS! ? HOW IS HE ABLE TO FIGHT SO WELL! ? HOW IS HE SO BRAVE! ? HOW IS HE ABLE TO ENDURE THAT MANY PAIN! ? HOW IS HE THAT CRAZILY STRONG! ? TELL ME, TELL ME, TELL-" she asked perkily and tearfully before Honoka, Erika, and Subaru quickly broke the two apart.
"San-cho, calm down!" Erika started.
"We were surprised too, but this isn't the time!" Honoka added.
"Save the questions after the fight!" Subaru followed.
"BUT THIS IS IMPORTANT! !" Satsuki pouted, "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WAS TENDOU, THE SON OF MY FAMOUS CHILDHOOD SINGER, IS NONE OTHER THAN MEGAMAN, WHO RESCUED US SEVERAL TIMES! !"
Sonia stared at Satsuki with a blank look. The same goes for Geo, who laid his eyes on Sakuya and Minako.
The two of them didn't know what to do at this predicament.
Even Ace, Tia, and Jack couldn't find a way to back them up.
The jig was up.
The former five heroes had only one question in their minds: "Tendou, what did you do! ?"
Black Joker Megaman (Tendou) and Sigma continued to collide their fists repeatedly with a loud boom.
The winged black armored Megaman was about to make his next punch, but the wound on his left ribs had reopened. "Argh!" he halted from the sudden pain as Sigma struck his right fist at the helmet. "GAAAAAAHHHHHH! !" Sending him flying, he cried and crashed on the car before falling to his knees. He held his left ribs with his right hand, "Aaaahhh... Damn... I'm still injured from the battle earlier... " he thought frustratingly and realized he wasn't fully recovered as several cracks appeared on the red lens and black mask. The right side of his red lens dropped to the ground along with his black mask, revealing his right eye and mouth. "I... I can't back down right now... "
Sigma huffed in disappointment with a frown, "Boy, I expected more from you! If you can't fight back with everything you have... THEN PROVE IT TO ME! ! SHOW ME WHAT'S THIS WINGED MEGAMAN MADE OF! ! SHOW ME YOUR FULL POWER! !"
Black Joker Megaman (Tendou) stood up successfully and clenched his fists, "YOU WANT ME TO USE MY FULL POWER! ? THEN YOU GOT IT! !" His two Meteor Noise Generators on his shoulders spun faster than before at a tremendous speed with blue electricity. A ball of crimson red Noise appeared on his right palm as it grew bigger bit by bit until it was the size of a soccer ball. Standing in his place, his two Meteor Noise Generators sent the blue electricity to the ball of crimson red Noise, mixing them together. He made his finishing stance and prepared to give everything he had.
Sigma grinned and raised his arms in a defensive stance.
On the roof, VileTora stood up and aimed his red shoulder-cannon at Black Joker Megaman (Tendou). Grinning behind his visor, he was waiting for this exact moment.
The ball of crimson red Noise with blue electricity in his right palm was fully charged to the maximum.

BURAKKU GAIA BAASUTO (BLACK GAIA BURST)!
Black Joker Megaman (Tendou) thrust his right arm forward with his opened hand and released a large stream of crimson red Noise with blue electricity at Sigma.
The scrap armored Sigma grabbed a car from the right side.
"NETTONET-" VileTora called out his attack, however...
"FATTOBOOI (FATBOY)! !" Vile cut him off by firing a large, magenta energy blast.
Sigma was about to place the car in front of him as a shield, but caught sight at the sky. "Hmm?" his face dropped to see the sudden interruption.
The large, magenta energy blast made its hit on Black Joker Megaman (Tendou)'s torso with a massive spark of an explosion.
*KA-BOOM! !*
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! !" he cried from the sudden impact, causing him to move his right arm upward. The large stream of crimson red Noise with blue electricity changed its direction and moved upward. His attack sent straight to the sky before it faded completely. "Aaaahhh... " he grunted and stumbled from the unknown attack.
"RONGUSHOTTO GIZUMO (LONGSHOT GIZMO)! !" Vile fired five super-shot shaped projectiles at the winged black-armored Megaman.
The five projectiles made their hits on Black Joker Megaman (Tendou)'s body. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! !" he cried as multiple explosions occurred around him.
*KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !* *KA-BOOM! !*
"WHAT'S THIS! ? INTERFERENCE! ?" Sigma fumed at the unpleasant sight with a scowl and threw the car at the building's window, shattering into pieces.
"HEY, TIN-CAN! ! WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO STEAL MY VICTORY! ?" VileTora barked angrily at his partner, "AND WHAT KIND OF AN ATTACK NAME IS "FATTOBOOI (FATBOY)"! ?" he questioned.
"YOU THINK OUR NETTO BURASUTO (NET BLAST) WILL TAKE HIM DOWN WITH JUST ONE HIT! ? YOU MUST BE STUPID! ! AT LEAST, I GAVE SIGMA THE ADVANTAGE! !" Vile pointed, "AND "FATTOBOOI (FATBOY)" IS MY STRONGEST CANNON ATTACK! !"
"THAT NAME SOUNDS SO STUPID! !"

As the smoke cleared, Megaman (Tendou) was flatly on the ground with his broken Cygnus Noise wings. The wounds on his body had reopened with more heavy injuries, and he was at his limit. Balling his hands into fists, he slowly lifted himself up but failed due to the pain.
"Aaaaahhhh... I... I can't use my Finalize Combo... my body won't endure it... but I only have one chance left... I must use my Mega Dainamaito (Dynamite) on him... " he said inwardly, knowing the side-effect of his suicidal attack.
Sigma turned to the roof and found the source of his interference. It was VileTora having a one-sided bicker with Vile. He was furious at him.
"Tora, that imbecile! How dare he interrupt my battle! ?" The scrap armored Sigma was about to leap in the air and teach VileTora a lesson, but a broken brick was thrown in the air and landed on his head. "WHAT THE! ? MORE INTERFERENCE! ?" he bellowed angrily and caught another sight of a brick in the air. He caught it with his left hand and crumbled it into pieces. From a distance, he found his new interrupter.
It was none other than Misaki!
The furious black-haired girl carried another brick from the ground and threw it at Sigma. "TENDOU, NOW'S YOUR CHANCE! !" she shouted before picking up another one.
Sigma growled at the interrupting sight and simply smacked the incoming brick away.
VileTora stopped the one-sided bickering with Vile and couldn't believe his eyes. "Damn, that Kaichou of Seika! She's still protecting him! ?" he questioned in frustration.
"Sucks to be you, blondie!"
Megaman (Tendou) heard her voice as he managed to stand on his feet. His body trembled from the pain. His legs wobbled, unable to keep himself still.
"M-Misaki... get out of-Aaaaahhhh!" Megaman (Tendou) lost his strength to stand, dropping to his knees. "G-GET OUT OF HERE! ! Aaaahhhh... I-IT'S DANGEROUS! !"
WAZA HQ
Sakuya, Minako, and the Maid Latte staffs couldn't believe their eyes on the screen, seeing Misaki distracting Sigma for Megaman (Tendou).
"Misaki!" Minako gasped at the sight.
"MISAKI, WHAT ARE YOU DOING! ?" Sakuya asked in horror.
"What's that girl think she's doing! ?" Ace stared at the screen in disbelief.
"Runaway, Misaki! You're gonna get yourself killed!" Sonia pleaded.
"Misa-chan!" The Maid Latte staffs followed.
Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, and the Moron Trio found Misaki on the battlefield and approached her.
"Misa-chan!" The Moron Trio called.
Sakura stood behind Misaki and asked, "Misaki, what are you doing! ?"
"I'M HELPING, TENDOU! !" the long black-haired answered angrily, throwing another broken brick at Sigma. Before she could grab another one, Shizuko caught Misaki's right arm.
"Misaki, that's enough!" the short black-haired pleaded.
Misaki tried to move her friend's right arm away, "LET GO, SHIZUKO! !"
Shirokawa, Sarashira, and Ryuunosuke gave each other a nod and joined Misaki. The Moron Trio grabbed the broken bricks and tossed them at the tall enemy.
"NEW KID, FIGHT BACK! !" Shirokawa cheered loudly.
"STAND UP, NEW KID! !" Ryuunosuke followed.
"WE'VE GOT YOUR BACK! !" Sarashira added.
Kanou and Yukimura didn't know what to do until they heard many footsteps coming from behind. They turned and saw the rest of the Seika High students joined them as well. All of them carried many rocks on their arms as they threw the projectiles at Sigma.
All Sigma could do was blocked the raining objects with his left arm.
The red shoulder-cannon took aim at the Seika High students as Vile laughed maliciously at the sight. "What a haul! Many birds in one stone!" Before he could shoot, VileTora took control and yanked himself to the floor. "HEY, BLONDIE, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! ?"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! ?" VileTora countered angrily, "I WANT HER ALIVE! !"
Megaman (Tendou) widened his eyes in surprise at the sight. Misaki, her friends, the Moron Trio, and the rest of the Seika High came here to help him. However, he noticed Draco was nowhere around. Suddenly, he saw Sigma mechanically transformed his right arm into a cannon. His eyes turned into fear as he shot his head at them.
"BAKA, GET OUT OF HERE NOW! !" Megaman (Tendou) hollered at the top of his lung.
Misaki, Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, Yukimura, the Moron Trio, and the Seika High students immediately stopped at his sudden monstrous tone. Dropping the rocks and bricks to the ground, they weren't sure if that was his voice. On cue, they obeyed him and turned their backs, running for their lives.
Growling in annoyance, Sigma aimed his right armed-cannon at Misaki and charged it with purple energy. "I have no need for you, girl!" he stated as his armed-cannon was fully charged. "SHINE (DIE)! !" he fired a stream of purple laser at her.
VileTora stood up as his eyes were wider than before at the shocking sight. "WHAT'S THAT BASTARD DOING! ? WE HAD A DEAL! !"
All the Seika High students slightly turned their heads and widened their eyes in horror. Misaki did the same and gasped in horror.
"BATORU KAADO (BATTLE CARD)! ! WINDI BUROO (WINDY BLOW)! !" Megaman (Tendou) thrust his right hand forward to create a strong wind.
The strong wind shoved the Seika High students to the ground with a shriek, allowing the stream of purple laser to miss its target.
Misaki was the first to get up and turned around. When she did, her eyes widened in shock and horror.
Standing before her, the stream of purple laser pierced through the center of Megaman (Tendou)'s chest with a massive of blood flowing out!
Misaki gasped at the terrible sight. The Seika High students couldn't believe what they witnessed.
Sakuya widened his eyes and dropped his mouth at the horrible sight. Minako and the Maid Latte staffs covered their mouths with a gasp as their eyes filled with dread.
Geo, Sonia, Ace, Tia, and Jack froze in their states at the terrifying scene.
Everyone was shocked to the core!
"NANI (WHAT)! ?" Sigma widened his eyes and quickly subsided his armed-cannon. "That boy... risked his life for that girl! ?"
VileTora slammed his fists on the edge of the roof in anger, "N-N-N-N-NOO! ! ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME! ? WHY! ? WHY DID HE TAKE THE HIT! ? I'M THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE TAKING HIM DOWN! !"
The massive of blood splattered on the ground as Megaman (Tendou) coughed out blood, dropping his right arm. His legs wobbled and dropped to his knees with a thud as more blood poured out from the hole in his chest. He began to fall forward.
Misaki quickly recovered and went to her fallen boyfriend, "T-TENDOU! !" she landed on her knees and caught him from falling with her arms around him as Megaman (Tendou) laid his chin on her right shoulder. She couldn't believe it.
She was protected again!
The Seika High students slowly stood up and laid their eyes on them.
"N-New kid... " Sakura covered her mouth as her eyes began to tear.
"He protected... Kaichou... " Kanou muttered in disbelief.
Megaman (Tendou) coughed more blood again, unable to move his arms nor legs. "Mi... Misaki... " he called in a weak tone.
"T-Tendou, you're hurt! You need treatment right away!" Misaki retorted.
"Even if you call them... they won't make it at this time... I'm sorry... "
"Baka, this isn't the time to apologize! Someone, please call an ambulance! Tendou needs help!" Misaki pleaded to the Seika High students.
"I-It's no use, Misaki... I... I can't hold on any longer... Aahhh... " he groaned weakly, breathing heavily.
Misaki turned to him as her face became fearful than before. "Tendou... are... are you dying?" she asked hurtfully as tears formed in her eyes, feeling the throb in her heart again. "Y-You made a promise to me! You told me you wouldn't die! You can't go back on your word, Tendou!"
"Misaki, I may be Megaman... but I'm still human... T-To be honest, I don't know what would happen if I hadn't met you... But that's not all... th-there's just one thing... that pains me the most... it's because of this face of mine... I'm stuck with this girly face... from my mother... Was it a good thing that I was born with it... ?" he asked weakly.
"What are you talking about, Tendou! ? There's nothing wrong with you or your face! It doesn't matter if you were born with your mother's face! You're fine the way you are!" Misaki told him straightly.
"I'm not sure how to win against that... Uuhh... S-Sorry... my time's almost up... Misaki... please listen to me loud and clear... I've never got the chance... to say this to you... I'm glad I met you... and protected you from many situations... and your father's a nice guy... please make up with him when you get the chance... " With the last of his strength, Megaman (Tendou) raised his right hand and wrapped it around her neck. Heavy tears fell from his eyes as he proceeded his final words to her with painful sobbing. "*sob* Ayuzawa Misaki... I-I love you... *sob* and thank you... for accepting me who I am!" With no strength remaining inside him, he fell to the left side and landed on the ground with a thud, spreading a puddle of blood around him. The young fighter slowly lowered his eyes until they were fully closed.
Tears of pain traveled down on her face, Misaki laid her eyes at him and sobbed harder than before. Her heart throbbed as if it was squeezed by a giant hand. She had never felt this pain so excruciating.
"T-Tendou... ? Tendou... ?" She balled her hands into fists and slammed them on the ground, crying at the top of her lung, "TEEENDOOOU! ! ! !"
All of the Seika High students started to cry from the heartbreaking sight. Their hero Tendou, aka Megaman, died right before their eyes.
They couldn't believe it.
They refused to accept it.
Minako started to cry and hugged her husband. Sakuya returned the hug, unable to find a way to comfort his wife. The Maid Latte staffs sobbed from the saddest sight and wiped their tears with their aprons.
However, Geo, Sonia, Ace, Tia, and Jack didn't shed a single tear.
The five of them laid their eyes on the screen with solemn looks.
Sigma mechanically reverted his right armed-cannon back into an arm. "Damn it! This is not how I wanted!" he clenched his fists in anger with a deep scowl. "With the winged Megaman gone, I won't be able to find the original Megaman!"
All the Seika High students lifted their heads and glared at Sigma. Their eyes were filled with hate. The boys balled their hands into fists, and some grabbed many rocks from the ground. The girls did the same, taking several rocks in their hands.
The Moron Trio stood in front of them as the three pounded their fists.
"Minna (Everyone)... " Shirokawa started bitterly.
"Let's get him... " Sarashira followed.
"For new kid!" Ryuunosuke finished.
The Moron Trio and the male students charged towards Sigma. The boys and girls threw rocks at Sigma and gathered more.
The throwing rocks landed on Sigma as he growled irritatingly at their interference. "What the! ?" The scrap armored leader smacked the rocks away with his arms. "I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH YOU! !" he shouted angrily. A few male students jumped and latched their arms around Sigma's left arm. "UNHAND ME! !" he demanded, then felt more of them got his right arm.
"QUICK, LET'S PIN HIM DOWN WITH OUR WEIGHT! !"
More of the male students climbed their way up to Sigma's torso and tried their best to make him fall.
"YOU THINK YOU CAN OUTWEIGH ME WITH YOUR HUMAN LOGIC! ? I DON'T THINK SO! !" Sigma separated his arms and legs as they hovered in the air. "CAN YOU HUMANS HANDLE THIS! ?" he asked as he spun his arms and legs at a rapid speed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! !" the boys cried and lost their grips, falling to the ground with a thud.
Some of the boys and girls continued to gather rocks and threw them at Sigma. They grabbed some objects from inside the trash bags, but they didn't care.
Their throwing ammo didn't hurt Sigma, but bounced off his armor.
"SO YOU HUMANS WANNA PLAY HEROES, HUH! ? COME AT ME! !" he taunted them.
The boys stood back up and ran back to the enemy.
On the roof, VileTora was very unamused at the sight. "You Seika High flies are full of stupidities... " he commented.
Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, and Yukimura didn't join the fight. They gathered around the crying Misaki with hurt looks on their faces. They were devastated by the loss of Tendou, who risked his own life for them.
"Tendou... *sob* please come back... *sob*" Misaki pleaded with her eyes shut.
Sakura and Shizuko knelt down and hugged their friend with their eyes closed, sharing the pain they had. Yukimura wiped his tears with the sleeve on his right arm as Kanou placed his left hand on the short dark green-haired's right shoulder.
More blood continued to pool around the deceased Megaman (Tendou)'s body as his left fingers twitched momentarily before the hand closed into a fist at a slow-moving speed.
However, none of them were aware of it.
Several male students latched their arms on the flying arms and legs in the air. Sigma laughed maliciously and swung his arms and legs, dropping them to the ground with hard thuds. The boys and girls couldn't find anymore objects to throw.
Hovering down, Sigma connected his arms and legs back to the torso as his feet landed on the ground. "Heeheehee... Playing hero is over, human scums!" he mechanically transformed his right arm into a cannon and aimed at them, "It's time you all join him!"
The male students grunted and couldn't get up with many bruises on their bodies. The Moron Trio was the first to stand up.
"Even if new kid died... " Shirokawa started through panting, "I'm sure there are other heroes out there... who will make their debut... and carry on his legacy... "
Sarashira turned his head, and his body became as stiff as a sculpture. His eyes widened in horror and the color of his face drained away.
"That's right! I'm sure... " Ryuunosuke continued, clutching his right shoulder with his left hand. "-there will be a miracle! Let's not forget about new kid's-
"G-Guys!" Sarashira called his friends.
Shirokawa and Ryuunosuke shot their heads at their blue-haired friend.
"Ikkun, don't interrupt us!" the blonde raised his voice at him.
"Yeah, that was our moment!" the black-haired added.
The two became confused at the terrifying look on Sarashira's face. "Ikkun, what's wrong?" they asked.
The Sarashira raised his shuddering right hand and pointed, "I-I-I-It's new kid!"
Shirokawa, Ryuunosuke, and the rest of the fallen male students turned their heads at the defeated hero. Their eyes widened in horror to see the impossible.
Sigma did the same and widened his in utter bewilderment. "N-NO, I-IT CAN'T BE... "
On the roof, VileTora shuddered at the unexpected sight. "How... How is this possible... ! ?" he asked in confusion.
Sakura and Shizuko had frightful looks on their faces as they slowly backed away along with Misaki. Beside them, Kanou and Yukimura followed with the same expression.
All the Seika High students couldn't believe what they were witnessing.
Megaman (Tendou) was back on his feet, engulfed by a black aura. He had his head down and his eyes closed. The blood stopped bleeding from his holed chest.
Sigma blinked twice and felt a sense of déjà vu. "Wait a minute... 23 years ago, I did kill the original Megaman... And if I killed this winged Megaman... does this mean... ?" he questioned thoughtfully, then remembered the outcome of the spiky-haired Megaman's death.
Misaki was frightened at her boyfriend's strange revival with the ominous black aura. "T-Tendou... ?"
Straightening his head, Megaman (Tendou) opened his eyes behind the broken red lens. His green eyes turned red, and they were glowing.
Misaki, Sakura, Shizuko, Kanou, and Yukimura noticed the sudden change in his eyes, including the Moron Trio and the rest of the Seika High students.
Everyone was terrified even more!
WAZA HQ
The screen gave everyone a shock. The ominous black aura on Megaman (Tendou) petrified Minako and the Maid Latte staffs.
"H-How is sonny alive! ?" the trembling Sakuya asked frightfully in bewilderment.
"Geo." Sonia spoke, staring at the familiar sight.
"Yes, he's coming." Geo replied.
"Who's coming?" Sakuya asked.
"Someone from the past I once met... is coming back."
Inside Tendou's subconscious mind
A shadowy figure revealed its appearance in a 15-years-old body of Geo. Suddenly, a ball of black fire consumed its body momentarily. As the black fire faded, the shadowy figure revealed its new appearance.
It turned into Tendou!
His name was Nightmare, who once controlled Geo's body when he went berserk.
He opened his glowing red eyes and smiled at his return, "At last... after 23 years... I am free!"
