Black hair.
Pale skin.
Black eyes…
After a deal of pain in which I didn't scream, I had a chance to look at the child that stood in front of me. He looked just like me, he looked just like a vampire, huh, I made a small chuckle in my throat when I made that accusation in my head. The male doctor gave me my son and I held him closely. I looked at the doctor.
"Do you have a name for your son?" The doctor asked.
"Lucifer, don't ask, just write it down," I say in my harsh and cold voice, the doctor, scared from my voice, quickly wrote the name down in his clipboard that he held in his hands.
"And what about the father?" he asked.
I'd flashback to screams that ringed in my head, I saw multiple colors like orange, red, and the smell of smoke pouring through my nose. I heard a scream of a man that called out my name, that was the only time that I couldn't help or try to be cold to the event. I jump back to the present.
"Just put, deceased," I stated.
When Lucifer started to walk, he explored the apartment that I bought for the two of us. He was a quick learner and made sure everything that he did was perfect, but I also told him it was ok to make mistakes and cover it up with a shovel and deny everything. He started to ask about his father when he got older, even though it pains me to tell him, I knew that keeping it secret would hurt him later in life. I sat down and told him everything.
"Lucy, as you know, after I moved out of the Addams Mansion, I've decided to go into the spider rasing business, I ran into an ordinary, do you know what an ordinary is?" I asked him.
"A person who isn't into anything dark like we are," Lucifer replied.
"Good, people don't understand us sometimes, but your father did understand me, so we fell in love and decided to get married and soon have you, but something happened. When I and your father was trying to get us a new house, the house caught fire and well, I survived, but your father didn't, after a few months I had you." I told him. I ruffled his hair and made a small smirk.
"Did you have a funeral mommy?" He asked.
"Of course, it was perfect, I liked everyone in black, but I did miss your father, but he lives on in you. Physically and spiritually," I stated.
Lucifer seemed happy that I told him about his father, he smiled a big smile and hugged me. I smirked and wrapped my arms around him and pulled him in close.
When Lucifer started kindergarten, I heard that most kids tease him because of his name, but luckily I told him if they hurt you, you can hurt one of their pets. He came home with a dead cat and I helped him bury it.
"How did you kill it son?" I asked.
"Well, I didn't want to use my hands, too much work, so I gave him Cyanide, " Lucifer replied.
"That's my boy, but make sure to wash your hands, because…"
"...because it'll leave fingerprints."
"That's right."
Lucifer getting older was one of the best moments of my own life. He turned fifteen and went to high school. One day while I was at home, the school called me. I went over and saw that my son got in trouble for something.
"What's the problem?" I asked.
"Your son and this girl, have been competing against each other to a point we're hands were thrown. But mostly, the girl has hitted your son. He just tried to escape her punches." The Principal explained.
I looked at Lucifer, at least he didn't hit her, "Lucy, what happened? And who is this girl that you fought with?"
"This is Franny, a girl from my class. She has a tendency to, argue with me." Lucifer explained.
"Your son always one-ups me in everything, no matter what, when he first met me, I wanted to beat him in everything, grades, sports, and even eating…" Franny explained.
"The last one was something she brought up to me, " Lucifer stated.
"Well, since you guys are so ambitious, do you think you can be friends?" I started.
They both looked at each and nodded.
A month later, they started to date. They still competed against each other, but more loving rather than a rivalry. When Lucifer turned 18, he and Franny decided to go get married. I supported the whole deal. Plus it would've given me a grandchild, I would like that.
Lucifer and his new wife Franny walked to me, holding a baby with blonde hair.
"A boy?" I asked.
"Girl...a a cute one too…" Lucifer stated. He handed me the baby. "We named her Wednesday."
"Perfect,"
