The secret Marriage
Chapter 10
(In Scott's point a view)
Now that Dad is here, he wanted me to decide what I was wanting to do with Rebecca. I had told Dad that I needed to try and ring her parents again, it didn't help that I couldn't get the hold of them. As I was going through her things, I see her phone so I tried ring them from it to see if one of her parents would pick up.
"Hey Rebecca, sweet heart is that you?" Her mother sounded really surprised that I called from her daughters' phone. I got this feeling that she hadn't heard from her in ages.
"Hey, my name is Scott Tracy, I have some news on your daughter Rebecca and it's not good."
"What do you mean? Where is my little girl?"
"I am so sorry to tell you this over the phone, but I am afraid Rebecca died a few days ago, while I was going through her things, I notice that she has a donor card on her"
"Okay stop right there, what gives you the right to go through her things? When that should our job to do that"
"Well I am her husband and we have been marred for a year" I said to her Mother
"You do know that she ran off when she was 15 and we haven't heard or seen her since? Look we really need to see her. I will meet you at the hospital, we need to say our goodbyes too and thank you for letting us know" said her Mother
"Okay I will see you there, what time?"
"When ever you are ready to come down just send me a message through to Rebecca's phone and I will be there to meet you both."
"Son are you Okay now?"
"I am fine Dad now that I got the hold of her parents, Dad they want to go and see Rebecca and I can't face seeing her lay there. I don't think I could handle bringing LeeAnn up on my own."
"Scott don't forget you have all your family around you to support you, your brothers are really worried about you and they send their love Scott"
"I know all that Dad, I am just glad that both Virgil and Jo were there when it happened. What if I have to give my daughter up because I can't look after her Dad? I guess I am just scared about what is happening at the minute. My mind is just all over the place and it's hard to take everything in."
"You will pull through its Scott, whatever you decide we as a family will support you. Do you want me to come to the hospital when you meet Rebecca's parents? Anyway, could I please see my granddaughter?"
"She is sleeping in the computer room"
"Why is she in the computer room Scott?"
"While I was waiting on you to arrive, John had called up to make sure that I was okay. At the time I didn't have the heart to hold LeeAnn. But John in his own way talked me into holding her" I explained
"That is one gift that John has being able to talk you all into anything. Look whatever you want to do we will be there Scott, Is there anything else on your mind?"
"Not really but how did you feel when Virgil told you about Robyn? I knew at first you weren't happy about it"
"it took a while for the shock to wear off, I didn't notice that Virgil was in love and that he was serous about Jo. In away I feel bad that Virgil missed out on the first few years of Robyn's life. Virgil is good with Robyn now and they have another one on the way and Virgil will be there for that. I am just glad to see Virgil happy now"
"So, you are not blaming me for wanting a life like Virgil then?"
"No son not at all, why you kept it from me I had no idea but, in the end, you came through and told me." Said Dad
"Sorry I had to get Virg to tell you the bad news, when the time came to call you, I couldn't get the words out"
"Okay son why don't you go and get ready in case you have to meet with Rebecca's parents, I will keep an eye on this little lady here" said Dad. I didn't know how this was going to play out with her parents, but I need to stand my ground with them.
