Lucy was sitting silently the whole ride she didn't dare to draw any attention to herself unnecessary. Natsu kept his gaze on the raod. They stopped in front of the huge Dragneel mansion.

Natsu waited for her to get out of the car she was lost in her thoughts. He got out and walked to her side and opened the door for her.

Lucy blinked and notices his gesture, "Thank you". She got out of the car and walked inside. Natsu knew she was worried about something.

"Are you ok with this marriage?" He asked her. Well she was still a young girl. Marrying him was putting her under many burden and responsibilities.

Lucy was surprised that he continued to look at her with concerned eyes. There was still one month before they officially tie up the knot.

"Not yet ready, I cannot cook, cannot wash cloth, all the things a good wife and loving mother do I completely cannot do. From the start, I already informed you, if you regret it, now it still not too late." she mock him up.

Natsu crooked up the corner of his lip into a good-looking arc, spoke: "Who say that you have to do all that? I will put people who will be there to follow your every order. I'm asking if you are feeling stressed because of marriage date is apparently close?"

Lucy nodded her head weakly, muttered: "Almost but it's pretty natural for girls to feel anxious when wedding date approaches."

"That's good." Natsu took a sigh and nodded his head.

"Mr. Dragneel I really did not know that you were there."

Natsu was silent again. He barely showed any emotion. He knew since she was born Lucy always called him Mr. Dragneel but now it was different between them, "Lucy, don't call me Mr. Dragneel again."

"Then what should I call you? Mr. Natsu? Natsu?"

"Both is okay."

" But both is not as pleasant to hear as Mr. Dragneel as I'm used to it." Lucy spoke persistently

"We are almost married, we are the same generation, Don't make it awkward" Natsu corrected her.

"But we don't have same taste in anything. You listen to old music and very dull in selecting things. We don't match in any case." Lucy huffed.

Natsu remains silent just his cold gaze flashed through her.

"I'll live in my own apartment on strawberry Street which I rented near college. I'll move in here after marriage. Don't stop me. Please." she stood and left to pack her belongings.

Natsu sat on his lush velvet sofa. He was tierd and looked around the humongous mansion which was too big for him. It was beautiful and expensive but empty.

He didn't stopped her. He always respected her decisions never forced her into doing anything against her will.

He waited for another twenty minutes when she came down with her duffle bag and suitcase.

They didn't talked the whole way. He click on the radio and "November Rain" by Gun and Roses was playing.

Sending Lucy back to her rented apartment, she jumped off the car and said goodbye to him, Natsu like elder warned her: "Sleep earlier, don't stay up late for anything useless and call me anytime if you need anything. Ok."

Lucy nodded her head, responded with smile even his face was stoic she knew he cared for her. He always did she replied back "You also don't forget to sleep on time and don't drown yourself in work like you usually do till midnight."

Natsu looked back at her fading figure. She was full of life and brightness, other side he was just dull and boring himself.

He was back and looked around, all alone in his castle. He losses his tie and rolled up his sleeve and his smooth skin was flawlessly visible. He took out the water from the fridge and took a gulp.

He was not used to it after living with her for few days he was used to her noises and annoying bunter and bickering.

Now it was just a haunting empty house. He looked at the watch, it was around 11 in night. He looked at his bedroom. Well he was not feeling sleepy, so he picked up his files and laptop and walked inside his study and started sorting the next shipment deal final production sheet.

He was typing furiously when he heard the sms beeping on his mobile. He paused and stretched his arms. He picked up his mobile it was around two in the morning.

Before continuing again he checked the message it was sent by Lucy. He forgot what he was doing and opened it.

"Don't over work I know you are still working because you are the biggest workaholic in the whole Magnolia I've ever seen. Now go back to sleep. Take care."

Natsu didn't smiled or blinked. He just looked at the sms for few seconds and stood while closing his laptop. He was suddenly feeling tired and little bit drowsy.

Lucy shut down her phone, looked at the ceiling and sighed, her heart was full of worries, does she really want to spend her lifetime with Natsu? How can this thing develop to this step? She thought before to marry with a guy she'll meet in college or while dating during college projects and vacation.

She dreams about having a boyfriend who was dropping her college and kissing her whenever they were together. And mostly she wants to cuddle whenever they spend a lazy weekend together watching football or their favourite movie. But she never imagined that she will marry Natsu. Not even in her wildest dreams she had thought about it.

Her relationship with Natsu was something more than just being a part of each other life. She knew him since early age. She remembers his boyish face when he entered high school and his stunning looks during his college days. She was very young at that time but she remembered everything.

They knew each other. He had seen her from early age, Natsu's father Igneel and her father Jude Heartfilia had connected through business matter, her father and Igneel was close friends , both of them liked to play golf, fish, swim, drink tea together.

She dared to try something rebellious for her fifteenth birthday. So she hid in the bedroom and lit a cigarette, just about to try the taste, the cigarette snatched away from her hand, she looked up, and Natsu stood in front of her, calmly and lightly said, "I will not stop you from taking a puff of this cancer stick but I would prefer if you would tell your parents first."

And when she was having fun in prom night she was pretty drunk. All she remembered that she drunk dialled the only number she remembered, his mobile number still fresh in her mind. And when she woke up next day he was sitting beside the bed taking care of her. He fell asleep on the chair while holding her hands.

And at the time when she tried the heavy seductive makeup for the first time. With smokey eyeshadow and dark red lipstick. She was wearing the mini skirt and tube top. She remembered he was discussing a meeting with her father when she walked passed him. Her father didn't said anything just told her to come home at the dinner time. But when she was about to leave in her car he stopped her while holding her wrist. When she turned he let her go with lightening speed.

All he said, " I don't mind your looks but I think you don't need this makeup to hide your face. Take care."

Lucy was shocked and she remembers she changed her attire at Levy's house.

There are millions of memories since they were always spending time with each around either way.

Lucy smiled at those cute memories. They really had something special.

Opposite from each other. Different in everything but still they understand each other in their way.

Natsu Dragneel this name send chills down to people's vains. He may be taking care of her and always treat her with care. But he was real devil with people around him. Real satan ruling and ordering person for utmost performance and perfectionist. He didn't like careless and clumsy people. He hated ill-mannered employees and businesses partners.

Senior, strict, superiority complex, look down at people…. these are all the labels that Lucy sticked to Natsu. She remembers her mother was always fascinated by his charm. She reminded her to be like Natsu but Lucy was rule breaking princess. She didn't cared about anything.

She was sometimes punished and grounded for her rebellious and aggressive behaviour. She always remembered Natsu would reach out to listen her talks and late night complaints that how her father mistreated her.

She remembered once she was craving cheesecake and it was around ten in the morning. And he delivered it to her himself. But when she returned home that evening she found her father was furious because they had lost an important deal because Natsu left the meeting in between.

When she was rejected by her long- time crush Loke, she felt broken she ran away from her home. It was raining that time. She was just crying her tears mixed with rain falling in the ground. She knocked on his door it was around past ten in evening. He was shocked when he saw her in that stage she hugged him immediately.

He didn't wasted time engulfing her in his warmth. She did not feel the cold rain anymore. That was the longest night she spend complaining about her bad luck in getting true love ever. He doesn't stop her and gave her glass of hot chocolate.

He was like her secret diary. She shared her worries, problems and pains and her happiness and every good moment with him.

After that, she started to call Natsu whenever she felt like it. Nift, say didn't matters to her she just call his phone, chatted, bickered, told him her worries, and most the time, it was she who talk and he will listen, just right that time.

She remembers when she was feeling bore in her weekend she called him to take her to new amusement park in Crocas which opened recently and she wanted to see the Hanami festival of Sakura trees.

And to her shock he took the two days leave just to fulfill her wishes. He never took break for himself. It was always her making him do stuffs he never will.

Why does Natsu want to marry her? Maybe it was related with his father serious illness, as the only son and responsible to settle down, to carry family ancestral line responsibility, he was almost 30 in two years, and still not settle yet, his situation became one of his father worries, at his father's deathbed, Natsu raised an issue about his proposal to marry Lucy, when she heard it, it felt like the lightning stroke her, he methodically arranged to proposed to her: "Marry me, what is your is yours, mine is yours, you don't need to change your life, just leave it to me to change for you."

Hearing his word, Lucy cannot help but slightly felt moved, she lived enough to see and understand uncle Igneel he was like a cool santa for her. Completing her every wish. She wasn't sure that she would agree but after seeing uncle Igneel stuck in hospital bed with million of wires and tube connecting to his body. Once a healthy man now looking pale as ghost and his bones were visible.

She remembered when Igneel motioned Natsu to leave them so he can talk to Lucy.

"I have known you since you came to this world. I don't know what you feel for my son. But it is the first time he has asked me for anything since childhood he just get along with whatever I did for him. He is great son and perfect man. Accepting his proposal is in you hand dear. All I want to say is that you are welcome in our family." He gave her small tierd smile.

She cried and agreed to it.

At the end, it was last conversation she had with Ignell. In the end he still couldn't win the fight with cancer cell, and passed away.

She remembers Natsu said, " If you chose to marry me I'll not stop you from doing whatever you want in life. You are always free to live your life i'll never complain just be my side but I'll surely stop what I'll feel is wrong."

Lucy remember when she called him to meet in the park around eight when she gave her answer to his marriage proposal.

" I don't know how Takeru will behave if I marry you."

She saw the warmth in his eyes were gone.

" Takeru? "

" "Yeah he is my novel hero and he is really my dream man.

" Comic character? " Lucy feeling an emotional turmoil in her mind. She just wanted to have fun with him. But she didn't know he would react this way.

And after asking for his forgiveness they went to select a promise ring.

Lucy yawned and looked at the clock. It was around 3. She checked her phone. There was no messages from him. Maybe he fell asleep already and suddenly she was lost in her own dreams while sleep took over her.
