It's been around a month since they have been married and nothing changed but Lucy felt that Natsu was drifting apart from her. Well they were on good terms but from past few days he was always on business trips and late night meetings.
He was skipping his meals and sleep.
Her mother asked her about honeymoon. She said that she would talk to Natsu about it. Well maybe he was really worried about some new projects. Natsu was completely different form other boys he barely tells her about his problems and concerns.
She was applying for internship in an advertising firm. Her college is nearly complete. She looks at the time at grandfather ticking clock it was around 2 am in the morning. She had called him three times already. He was neglecting her.
She again tries her luck. After five rings he picks up.
"Where are you?" she didn't know why she was feeling angry all of sudden. She heard few noises behind him. A laughter of a woman..
What was he doing??
"I'm busy. I'll call you." and he hung up.
Lucy blinked at the mobile. What just happened? Did he rejected her calls?
He was with some woman?
She threw her mobile away. Well he can spend time outside but better tell her first. That's how it works between them. She's spoil and bratty between them. He was polite and mature one.
She remembers Natsu always tells one person everything.
"Hello" a gruffly voice said from the other side.
"Uncle Gildart!" Lucy said in sweet voice.
"Lucy?" He sounds confused.
"Yes uncle it's me. I want to know where is Natsu?" she knows that only Gildart can have information about him.
"He said something about Levy's birthday party and something making him angry so he took the mega project which required around a month to complete. He is reluctant to bring up the contract." Gildart explained. But Lucy was frozen. He was there that day. Now she knows why he was avoiding her. It was her fault.

Few days back on Levy's birthday.
Lucy was thinking about buying a gift for Levy with Natsu. He was busy in a business meeting. Not many people knew in office that he was married. And those who know that he was married they don't know about Lucy. Lucy walked from reception to the main entrance of Dragneel enterprises. She rarely came here mostly she met Natsu in her own company. So it was rare moment for office employees to see a young girl running in boots wearing denim skirt and crop top.
"Who is she?" a receptionist asked to other one.
"I don't know but she had special card so security didn't stopped her." they looked as Lucy left from there.
Natsu was in meeting room when he was informed that Lucy was there. He was little surprised that she was there willingly. Well he was glad about it. After finishing the meeting he left to find her. He was looking for her. When he passed from the accounting section and paused.
There she was hugging an executive chief of accounts section. Hibiki Yuno. He wants to knock him down so he approached them. But paused when he heard them talking.
" It's been so long Lucy. How you doing!?" Hibiki was really surprised after seeing her after a long time.
"I'm good. I didn't even know you were working here." she was glad after seeing him here.
"It's been months since I last saw you and Loke. Did you guys get engaged. I'm so betting on you guys going to end up marrying at the end of college this month." He stood and gave her knowing look when he spotted the ring on her finger. "Or maybe already secretly married?"
Natsu wanted to know her reaction. There marriage was more like a private ceremony. Only selected people were there.
"It's not what you think Hibiki. Well Loke is past now I'm with someone else." she didn't dare to look into his eyes. Hibiki was Loke's senior from college. She met him during football games.
"What?" he was baffled after hearing this news because Loke and Lucy were like golden couple in high school.
"Life is no longer fairytale. We do not get everything. Sometimes you have to make sacrifice and accept the bitter truth." she said with heavy voice. It was like she wasn't happy with her marriage. Natsu was surprised when she said that he never knew she felt that way. He asked her million times but she always said she was OK.
" Why are you here?" Hibiki asked breaking the awkward silence.
"It's Levy's birthday so I wanted to ask Natsu to join me." she said after checking the time.
"Oh Mr. Dragneel must be in meeting. You can wait for him by the way your father isn't here." Hibiki gave her warm smile and picked up a file a drive.
"Sorry Lucy but I have to give this file in data section. I'll catch up with you later." and he left.

That day Lucy tried to find him but he was already gone. Now Lucy realised he must have heard her talking about him to Hibiki but she didn't meant it that way. She again called Gildart.
" Uncle Gildart it's urgent can you send me location where is Natsu right now?" she was already in her jeans and top and after slipping her vans she was ready to leave.
"Ohh our little Lucy is finally growing into cute jealous wifey. Great." Gildart gave her teasing laughter.
"I'm not kidding right now," she really wants to clear the situation between them. It was supposed to be happy and positive relationship.
"He is at Alveraz. Working on the project. Right now staying in blue moon hotel you know uncle Ichiya." Now Lucy know where he might be.
"Thanks for the help." and she left in the middle of the night even before gaurds can come and see where young mistress was going in the night.

It took straight ten hours of ride. She was tired and hungry and looking like panda because of the lack of sleep. She stopped when she finally reached her destination. A grand Hotel blue moon. People have to wait for months to get registered here.
She was stopped at the entrance when she was already in the bad mood. When she showed them there that she was only daughter of Jude Heartfilia they let her go inside.
She hated it when people judge her on the behalf of her clothes. She was already very exhausted.
Natsu was in very bad mood since he rejected Lucy's call last night. He was always calm and composed during his work but he was loosing his composure just because she was unhappy with him. He was an idiot when he thought that he knew her. But he was wrong she was not happy with him. He wanted to make everything better. But everything was messed up.
He entered the elevator and his employees and other people stepped back after seeing his harsh glare and frosty look. They begged God for mercy that he would not look at them. Suddenly elevator stooped at the first floor and Natsu remember he forgot his file in the office he clenched his palm. Damnit.
People were now borderline sweating and nervous suddenly the door opened and a carefree young girl entered and before anyone knew she hugged the devil himself. A girl already fainted when she saw some average looking girl jumped and hugged her boss.

Lucy was getting frustrated she tried to ask about Natsu around here but nobody dared to give information on there customers. So she decided to search all two hundred rooms herself. She was on first floor when she decided to take elevator. When the door was opened she nearly cried the tears of happiness. He was standing there like always with angry face and knitting eyebrows.
She couldn't control herself and ran and flung her arms around his neck. She was dead tired from everything since last night. All she needs was little sleep.
Natsu was taken back by the sudden force on him. Before he knew his arms wrapped around her protectively. He was puzzled himself. What she was doing here and how she finds him. He was about to put her down when he felt her body went limp and she was already sleeping. He held her tightly. Only she can be this carefree with him.
When he stepped out of the elevator. And walks to his office people were surprised. He hid her face in his chest.
"Sir! You forgot your fi-" his secretary was frozen when she saw him carrying a girl in his arms and walking to his room.
"Cancell every meeting during twelve hours. And nobody disturb me." and the door was slammed shut.
He slowly put her down on the bed. He knows the reason she will never be comfortable with him. There was huge difference in between them. Their thinking and choice were different. He put her in the bed when he saw a strand of hair falling on her face. He brushed it away when he traced her face.
"I can't tell you what I am facing now. Maybe you will just care with sympathy because that's how you are always kind and generous to others. Maybe that's why you chose me when father said something to you. I'm sorry for forcing this marriage on you." And he stood up leaving her sleeping on the bed as he walked to the balcony and lit the cigarette. He took a deep puff when again he felt a cruising pain in his body. His situation was getting worse but all he can do was endure.
That's how he was. Since childhood all he knew was being obedient and performed perfectly in everything. Completely forgot about crying and complaining. So he was touched when Lucy was there whenever he needed her. He rarely talks about anything. His mostly replies are 'hmm' 'ok' 'sure' and small sentences but she bring the best out of him.
All he knew this was a mistake or something they are going to regret in future. He looks back while taking the long puff of cigarette.
