It's been three days since Natsu was discharge back from the hospital and was ready to get back to work but Lucy was in charge of his health and about his every upcoming activity. She does not want any casualty again. She nearly lost him so she will not take any risk.

They were in their room and it was around midnight. A slow song was playing on the radio slowly, Natsu was asleep but she was hungry. She didn't like the food service around here. It was very luxurious and top class but still not able to satisfy her enough.

She looks around the kitchen and curses herself for not even able to know enough about cooking to feed herself. She found some salted nuts in the jar and started feasting on it. She looked around and found some apricots.

There was still an empty shell in her hand. In a moment of inattention, she was so absorbed in herself she didn't notice his presence behind herself.

Natsu looked around and found her sitting between the mess of shells and nuts. He bend down to fix it up.

"You were sleeping well did I wake you up?" Lucy asked as she stuff few nuts back in her mouth.

In the end, after Natsu had finished clearing away everything, he also sat down, leaning half his body sideways against the couch she was sitting .

In the warm amber light of the wall lamp, Lucy took a glance. She felt the saltiness of the crumbles of the nuts on her lips. A little embarrassed, she unconsciously licked her bottom lip.

Natsu's eyes took in this little mannerism of hers. "Doesn't your stomach feel uncomfortable after eating this stuff?"

She murmured, "I'm used to it."

"Don't you think there is food service you can eat anything anytime here?"

She shook her head "I'm not used to eating here. The food is too bland for my taste."

Natsu stood up and rolled his sleeves. Very familiarly, he entered the kitchen. telling her to wait for him little bit.

A piping hot bowl of steamed egg noodles was set down in front of Lucy, steam still rising up from it.

"Finish it." A porcelain spoon was slid into the bowl.

"You even know how to make this?" Lucy was astounded.

"Anything that you like to eat, I know how to make."

She felt surge of emotions flowing through her heart. She saw Natsu turned and was about to leave when she stood and hastily wrapped her arms around his neck and chest.

"Stay."

Natsu was frozen when he realizes the situation. Her breath fanning around his neck. She was so close to him. He gently tried to pry her down. But Lucy tightly held him and didn't let go. A smile played on his lips.

"Stay or I won't let you go." she knew he will leave.

"I am staying but you have to eat first." He sat next to her when she ate the noodles. Natsu kept staring at her and she kept eating the delicacy. When she was finished she tidy up and came back next to him.

Natsu stayed for her. This really touched her heart.

"You can cook my favourite foods and I don't even know about you very well." Lucy pouted and put her head on his chest while playing with his long warm fingers.

"You can learn and I don't have any special preferences. I can adapt accordingly." He kissed her forehead.

"You are telling a lie about your choices. But I'm stubborn ass Heartfilia I'll find out." she smiled at him. Lost in a moment she pulled him down and kissed him softly.

Natsu shifted his gaze slightly. Bringing his hand up to the neckline of her halter top, he touched the pad of his thumb to the nape of her neck. His action was gentle, almost imperceptible, and it seemed he even gave her a light caress.

Lucy was holding her breath. She does not know if she was ready to share the most intimate relationship with him yet. She dared not move in the slightest.

"Why are you not saying anything?" For some reason, his tone was rather low.

"I'm worried about you because I woke you up…" As a result of this atmosphere, she dared not speak loudly either.

His fingers left her skin slightly. "Go to sleep."

"we'll talk about this tomorrow." He stood when she held his wrist.

"We are suppose to be on our Honeymoon. So we must spend time together you know."

Nstsu didn't dare toook at her but he knew the meaning under her words.

That night they shared the bed but Natsu on right side and Lucy on left side. They didn't dare to move slightly even it was king size bed.

But when morning approached Natsu was awake by warm breath hitting his chest. His shirt was undone and Lucy's arms wrapped around him and her head resting on his chest. It was skin to skin contact nothing in between.

What happened last night?
