Hello I am here today with an AU I hope nobody did because I don't want to receive in the review 'you copied him/her' because I didn't know.
Disclaimer : I don't own Steven universe or any fandom I might include,it is owned by Rebecca Sugar and other people that are not me. I only own the AU. Any song that I take for this story is either invented by me (not likely) or I will note which singer sang the song with the title.
Long ago,in the void,there was nothing. Until two beings were created,Space and Time. They appeared at the exact same time,they wondered who they were and who the other was. When they saw the diamond on their torsos. They were Space and Time Diamonds ! The very first beings created.
As time passed,the two diamonds saw the emergence of new diamonds. Life and Death were the firsts after them. Sun,Moon,Planeta and Millennium came after. Space asked to Planeta if one of the created planets could hold life. Planeta replied that the Earth and another one could. Time foresaw it for an affirmation. The diamonds were at the time very young when the planets were created and had to wait millions of years for them to be on their final stages. In the mean time,when the landscapes on the planets and the elements became pronounced,new diamonds became known : Fire,Water,Earth,Air and Lightning for the elements and Desert,Jungle,Ocean,Toundra,Plain,Volcanus,Meadow,Moors,ect... for the landscapes. They had their diamonds in specific places as to not confuse who was whom.
Earth and the other planet finally had life within them. Earth had creatures called 'hoo-mans' (pronunciation of Earth diamond) or 'humans' (pronunciation of Space). They watched them for a while,fascinated by them. When the humans created the firsts civilisations,the diamonds helped them in understanding the Cosmos,the creation of the universe. The humans,in return,worshiped them. They created temples,Myths and legends about them. The human race continued to live under the watchful eye of the 'Primal ones' as the humans called the mighty diamonds. Before then,twin diamonds emerged;there was one black and the other was white. They were called Light and Shadow,Yin and Yang or even White and Black. They all visited planets after planets to expend their already all-knowing knowledge. They visited Homeworld and met The Ores,a race of living metals. The Ores plegded fealty to the diamonds,the youngest ones befriended Light and Shadow. The mighty diamonds were at peace with every humans on Earth,well almost every humans...except the wizards. They couldn't stand that there was beings that had higher power than them,even the one that taught their ancestors magick,Magickal diamond. So one day the wizards rassembled themselves and constructed a plan to eradicate the diamonds.
the night of The Attack,in the Diamonds temple's garden :
"Light ! Come here Starlight !" called Life
"Yes Sister ?" asked Light,confused
"do you know why I called you here ?" replied Life to her younger sister
"No I do not...why did you called me here ?" answered Light
"I called you here to give you a gift." smiled Life to a gobsmacked Light
"W-w-why me ? And Shadow ?" stuttered Light
"you because you emerged a month before her and she will have hers,don't worry..." replied Life while petting Light's hair
"oh...what is my gift ?" asked Light while blushing a bit pink
"Look over there" said Life while pointing at a giant white torso ship
Light was awed by such a grand gift.
"It's beautiful...but this isn't just for me it is ?" breathed Light
"It is only for you Starlight" reassured Life
"Thank you so much big sis !" cried Light and hugged Life
"It's nothing love,go visit your ship ! I shall see if our siblings didn't break anything while you are here" winked Life and kissed Light's gem
"Bye big sis love you !" giggled Light and kissed her sister's gem
"Wait a minute young gem !" called Life
"Yes ?" asked Light
"Your lover asked me to give you this" smirked Life and showed her a gold choker with gems embedded in it with her own insignia
"SIIIIS !!! Tell him I said thanks and that I love him..." yelled Light then mumbled,blushing bright Pink in embarrassment
Life nodded chuckling and left. Light put the choker on,turned to her ship and grinned.
"Torso ship,here I come !" laughed Light and ran to it
Light visited her ship the whole day,she carefully looked to every details in it. It was early night when she came out.
"It was amazing !" giggled Light to herself
Suddenly she heard a scream cut short by a war cry. Dread filled her when she ran to the scream. She froze in horror when she arrived,the whole Ores,all her siblings except Life were caged in stone either fleeing or fighting. Unfortunately one wizard saw her.
"Fellows !!! Let's kill her !!!!!" yelled the man
"NO !!! RUN LIGHT !!!!" screamed Life in fright and got herself between a beam of light and got into stone
Light cried and ran to her ship fast. There were already coordinates of a planet so she only put it in autopilot. When she was high enough,she fell to her knees and cried for her family,friends and her lover,Madainn that she will never see again.
When she created her court,nobody congratulated her...she shed a single tear but wiped it quickly,telling herself to be strong for her court and her siblings.
White gave birth to two diamonds,one that she named Yellow and one that she named Blue for their respective colouring. She cared very much about them. By their 2000 birthday,Yellow and Blue had their courts and had thousands of colonies,she was so proud of them ! Sometime,White gave herself alone time to admire her only jewel from her family before the disaster. Her choker that her lover and soon-to-be mate made her.
Finally,White gave birth to a last diamond,that she called Pink for her colour. It was a relief she was okay because it was a slim chance that she survived but she was very small and fragile compared to her sisters. Blue and Yellow fussed a lot about her,much to the amusement of White and the irritation of baby Pink.
It was time for Pink to have her first colony. White was ill at ease because Pink's colony was Earth,the planet she grew up in and the place that took her family away from her,she was scared for Pink.

Pink was shattered earlier that day...White only felt this powerless only when her family was taken from her and it was happening again !!! She locked herself away in her chambers to mourn and didn't came out. Yellow and Blue mourned the loss of their precious little sister and were worried about their mother's mental state but kept the empire running for the sake of their mother.
On Earth :
Pink,in her persona of Rose Quartz,was a very quiet gem with her fair share of secret. She hated herself for lying to her family and only playmate about this. On Earth,She fell in love with a human that she took as a mate,Greg Universe and got pregnant with his child. She confided Pearl a mission,the one to raise her child like her heir as a diamond,not as Rose Quartz. She recorded tapes for him to watch when he was deemed ready by Pearl of many subjects that only a diamond can teach to another like how to activate their powers because of the difference in status but the rest needed subjects could be taught by Pearl. She confied Pearl a Gem duplicator for if Steven emitted the wish or the envy of her being with him even when already explained that she can't be with him because of gem problem. Pearl agreed to do that for her friend and diamond.
