Steven,Pink and the other diamonds prepared for the 'confrontation' between them and Homeworld. Aero and the other elemental diamonds taught Pink and Steven how to create wings from the energy of their gems,for them it was flower petals (Rose of Sharon petals). Pink grew a lot over the time in the sunlight,Madainn was happy that she now reached his hips (equal to Yellow's mid torso),he could pat her head without the fear of crushing her. Pink also claimed Greg as her mate so normally she shouldn't lose her form would a baby be along the way. Alize,Mistral,Zephyr and Foggy teased their cousin Steven that he would maybe have half-siblings since it was frequent when diamonds had multiple mates,Steven was blushing up a storm since he was interested in one of his cousin,Scáth Gealach or Scáth,the daughter of Nocturna and Shadow. Shadow soothed his fear in telling him it was okay to be interested in family members for them so he was quite relieved. Shadow shipped them so it was no problem...
In the meantime,Pink returned to the Garden to look for her old playmate,Spinel. Pink explained her reason to Spinel and soothed her tears when she cried and apologised for tricking her. When Spinel was alright,she was happy that she had a new playmate since now Pink would be a lot helping the elder diamonds and couldn't find someone fun for her son to be with other than her.
Steven was overjoyed when his mother came back with Spinel,she talked a lot about her and she seemed to be very kind and fun ! They played for hours till it was bedtime and it was the best hours so far in the world and outer-space ! Pink filled in Spinel about human needs and if Spinel wanted she could try them out. Spinel wanted to try sleeping so she went next to Steven and snuggled up to him and slept like a baby. Pink thought it was very cute and took photos of it.
The next day was hectic... Scáth and Spinel fought over who would spend time with Steven.
"I get to spend time with Steven because he is mah cousin and I bet he prefer me to ye !" yelled Scáth with an ever present Irish accent
"ya bet he don't like yeh ! he like meh and nothing will change that !" yelled back Spinel
"I LOVE HIM MORE THAN YOU" yelled Spinel and Scáth together while glaring daggers at each other
"you...love me ?" asked a blushing Steven who walked inside the house when they yelled which prompted the two guilty gems to look away red in the face
"y-yea..." mumbled the two and glared at their rival
"Auntie Shade (Shadow) said that I could have more than one mate...could you explain to me what it means ?"
The 2 full gems looked at each other and smirked then turned to him with gentle smiles.
"it means you can have more than one girlfriend or lover,polygamy in a way" answered a blushing Scáth
"ooh..." was the only answer of a embarrassed Steven
"don't be shy though,my mothers does have multiple mates and nobody tell them anything but I wonder what hoomans could think..." Scáth tapped her chin in thought
"if I remember some humans do just that but are scarce across the globe and the sister-wives must be ok with this" said Steven and sat between Spinel and Scáth,both of them giggling
"I can tell ya mo ghrá~,that it does not bother me at all" purred Scáth
"yep ! Does not bother me" giggled Spinel
"Máthair said that I had German and Irish origins ! Mama said that I had the fiery German temper but my voice and compassion was of an Irish born,they said I wished I could learn in depth the German or Irish language and culture but I want you to benefit of it too..." pouted Scáth
"I want to but I don't know if I could..." mumbled Steven
"you are German,Scottish and Irish mo ghrá ! You could have such a cute accent in either of the three language !" gushed Scáth
"Or even Korean could be a good choice" stated Pink who heard the whole incident but won't tell them
"Why Kore...Oooooh..." started Steven but it dawned on him like a ton of bricks
"my insignia is a Rose of Sharon,the national flower of Korea and it could do some good too have a diversity in the language spoke between all of us because I saw that there was no Asiatic tongue spoke,you and I could learn Korean to change that ! Of course you could still learn Gaelic or German but I thought it could be a great idea too" said Pink,scratching her neck sheepishly
"good idea mom !" he giggled
"you're soooo cute~" gushed Spinel
Some months later :
Pink and Steven learned more about the time before the other diamonds got stoned. It gave Pink an idea but she didn't want to have an angry and embarrassed mother after her so she said no. Pink explained that White took hard the fact that they were no with her. Madainn asked if she still had the choker he gave her as a mating gift,Pearl answered that she still has it.
Madainn explained to the confused one that a mating gift is like a engagement ring but it can be many other things,like other jewellery,clothing or even a planet...
Ruby and Sapphire got married ! Pink and Greg did too but Pink had to shapeshift since she was much much taller than before. At one point in the weddings,two armships got on Earth. A yellow one and a Blue one.
