Chapter 5: The Past Comes Back

"Flash!" Supergirl screamed.

Barry's air knocked out of him as he was thrown across the room onto the shelves. His breathing slowed and his vision blurred. He could hear Kara's yells in the background as he felt blood gushing out his left leg. A blurred figure stood over him and whispered in his ear, "Remember, I've been through this fight before. I know who'll win. Let me give you a clue". Reverse Flash bent down and squeezed Barry's leg, causing Barry to grunt as great pain shot down his leg.

"Me" was the last thing Barry heard because he lost his battle with his consciousness.

"Barry Allen, the 'fake' fastest man alive" Eobard Thawne turned to Supergirl and Frost.

Truth be told, Thawne was just scared, originally, he would only to fighting the flash, who would be so blinded by rage, Thawne would win. Now, Flash had Supergirl by his side along with Frost.

Eobard Thawne was a true coward. That wouldn't stop him from killing his arch nemesis though, the future depended on this fight.

"You will pay for that" Supergirl flew towards him, faster than ever before.

"Frost, go get the others!"

Kara then punched Eobard square in the face, causing him to be thrown across the room and collide with the wall. His hands immediately went to his side, mask now ripped off and blood scattered on the floor whether it be Eobard's, Kara's or Barry's.

"Aww, did that hurt" Kara taunted. She would protect the man she loved and wouldn't go down without a fight.

"Barely a tickle" Eobard snarled.

A yellow steak flew past Kara circling her. The wind caused her to drop to her knees and she saw the figure of The Reverse Flash and knew this fight would not go their way. Seeing a knife in Eobard's hands, the tip glowing green she knew this would be the end.

"I love you Barry" Kara whispered as what she thought would be her last moments as Thawne towered over her.

"Bye Supergirl"

An arrow flew past Thawne's head.

"Missed" Thawne said to Oliver Queen, The Green Arrow.

Oliver simply raised an eyebrow as the detonator on the arrow blew and Eobard was knocked across the room.

Once Thawne was knocked against the old warehouse door, he opened his eyes to see the… no. It couldn't be!

The Justice League stood their in full glory. Frost, Vibe, Green Arrow, Black Canary, White Canary and Superman, who was at Kara's side immediately.

"Are you okay?" Superman asked, worried for his cousin.

Kara looked up, tears running down her face, the event finally getting to her.

"Kara?" Clark asked gently.

"Barry" Kara managed to choke out, terror in her eyes.

And sure enough, Clark searched the room and put a hand to his mouth. Barry was sprawled out across the floor blood pooling below him. Clark was the overprotective cousin but Barry and him had become good friends.

"Frost we need Caitlin!" Clark choked out, now as worried as Kara, rushing to Barry's side.

Frost was threatening the knocked-out Eobard, ice now all over his arms and legs. Frost looked over at Barry and changed to Caitlin.

"Oh my god" Caitlin whispered and rushed to Barry, who was gaining consciousness, praying that he was okay.

"What's happened" Barry mumbled looking up to Clark innocently.

Clark just looked at him worriedly.

"We need to get him to STAR Labs" Caitlin worried.

"No, Thawne" Barry tried to get up but groaned as a sharp pain ran up his leg and spine.

"It's okay Barry, we handled him" Clark said pointing over at an unconscious Eobard Thawne.

Barry eased and relaxed a bit before he regained his tense and worried posture and expression.

"Kara!" Barry almost yelled as loud as he could, which wasn't very loud.

"Shhh, Barry she's safe" Clark told him now pointing to where Kara was standing over Thawne who was stirring.

Clark and Caitlin helped Barry up letting his arms onto their shoulders until they were stopped, blood now all over them and they saw Barry's body go to the ground.

Thawne had regained consciousness. He checked his wrist for meta cuffs or anything but there was nothing.

"How stupid" Thawne mumbled, unknown to anyone.

"It's over we have you" Kara told him.

Thawne laughed. He laughed!

"Maybe you should have thought of those meta cuffs" Thawne spoke before he sped over to Barry and all watched in horror as Thawne phased his hand through Barry's back and sped off leaving them to deal with the horrible thing he had done.

Blood poured everywhere. Everyone was stunned and horrified as they watched Thawne phase his hand through Barry's back. Kara, tears running down her face, ran straight to Barry who was now on the floor, possibly dying.

"Barry?" Kara shrieked.

"Kara" Barry spoke softly and weakly, "Just know that I will always love you and Kayla is alright"

"No Barry! Your going to be alright" Kara felt his pulse go weak and his heart beat grew fainter

Kara could only watch as Barry was dragged away to STAR Labs and she sobbed, putting her face into Clark's chest.

Finally an update! I'm so sorry for not doing this sooner. I was down with writers block . So what do you think will happen? I think for this story, I'm going to focus on the past unless you guys want some of the present? Up to you guys! Thank for the support, I really appreciate it!
