A night out with Ryuichi and his comrades not what Akihito had thought it to be at all. Akihito knew all about the parties that Ryuichi threw. They were filled with drugs, alcohol, and sex. When he'd been invited to join everyone tonight, he had automatically – and excitedly – assumed he'd be going to his first Asami Ryuichi party. His assumption turned out to be quite wrong.
It was quite a shock to Akihito when the limo stopped out front of the most famous restaurant in all of Japan. Well it wasn't quite all that surprising considering that it belonged to the Asamis. However, Akihito had been hoping to see the party house. Most people would be overjoyed to find themselves at this restaurant, let alone be in the company of the youngest Asami himself. Akihito however, just fond himself frowning with disappointment. A hard clap to his back from Mikhail had him stumbling forward and turning his frown onto the other blond. Mikhail smiled back. "Don't let Ryuichi see that frown, kid. That boy is at his wits end trying to deal with his feelings for you. This night was all potted out to get that boy to give in and take you. So enjoy yourself."
Mikhail walked off, heading straight into the restaurant as if he were the one who owned it. A strong arm came to settle about his shoulders. Akihito turned his gaze to his left and upwards. He smiled uncertainly up at his best friend. Ryuichi grinned down at him. "Been some time since you have been here, huh Akihito?"
Akihito nodded. "Yeah, my tenth birthday. You threw me a party here. We were all running around and being obnoxiously loud children. People complained, wanted us to be removed from the property. Our parents, they said, should be ashamed of themselves and us. One person demanded that our parents should be made to pay for the inconvenience of the other customers and all. Your father took such delight in telling that one that doing such a thing would merely result in him taking money out of his pocket only to just put it right back in. He had such a huge grin on his face as he scooped me up and wished me a happy birthday in front of the complaining customers."
"Yeah." Ryuichi Grinned even broader at the memory. "Not a lot of people know that my dad is found of children and has a great since of humor. Everyone just assumes he's just a hard assed, no-nonsense bastard who would kill you without hesitation." Ryuichi sighed. "All part of our line of work."
They headed into the restaurant, the doorman bowing deeply in respect as they passed by. As they passed by, the patrons stared in shock. Some sneered, disgusted by their lack of proper and fancy clothing. Ryuichi paid them no mind and for the first time, nor did Akihito. Here, in the heart of an Asami owned place, Akihito felt assured in himself and his place in the world. He may not be of Asami blood, but he held them close to his heart and at times, in the palm of his hand.
The Bad Boy & The Innocent
After stuffing themselves full of rich, tasteful, and expensive food; their party headed off to an arcade. At the arcade, Akihito was totally in his element. He challenged everyone from Ryuichi to Feilong and any stranger willing to take him on. Three hours later, Akihito was drunk on a winning streak and everyone had become weary to take him up. Grinning from ear to ear, Akihito bowed and thanked everyone for their time.
With the hour now late, Akihito was returned to his home and tucked into bed by a deliriously happy Ryuichi.
