Everywhere, there was red. Red. Like all the times she saw the blood spray out of her father's head. And it was dark. So, so, so dark like the times where she tripped and fell when she was running away from them.
She floated on nothing; eyes glazed over, not minding anything. She still had a few minutes before-
*drop*
Her eyes widened. It wasn't supposed to be this early. She tried to take a deep breath to regain her breathing, until all to soon, it started.
*drop*
Green light sped towards her and hit her chest, sending her to her memories where she was overwhelmed with emotions
-Hi sweetie, I'm your ma-
-Wanna be my friend-
-I really like you-
-What's happ-
-He tried to kil-
-It's the only way-
-I'm… I'm sorry…-
-promise me?... see you soon…
My Beloved…-
She woke up gasping, sweat trailing her face. She tried to rub her eyes, only to find them wet from crying.
Every Sunday, without fail, she would always wake up in that bloody abyss. There, she would always have a play-through of her memories.
Memories of what? Her past life.
Ever since she was little, people told her she was a prodigy, but she wasn't. In the back of her head, it kept telling her of that she had learned all of this through hard work. When? She didn't know.
It was the age of 5 when she regained it all.
Auschwitz.
She was killed in Auschwitz.
The teal-haired girl woke up that day screaming. Crying. Mourning.
For her past family, who did every possible step to hide her from them. For her friends, for keeping her whereabouts secret. And last of all, her beloved, who was with her every step of the way. Who stole, lied, and killed for her. Like she did for him. They smuggled food and relayed information for the Resistance.
IN the end she was captured with her beloved. In the gas chambers, they sat, fingers intertwined, waiting for their demise. They promised that day, on Sept. 27, 1944, to find each other again.
Since that day, she was distant. Paranoid, that they would take her away, causing her lack of presence. But they never came. No one tried to take her away from the family she was born into. And she was safe
(But that never stopped her taking martial arts lessons.)
Maybe it was because she knew more, or she had good reflexes, but at the age of 7, she already had a blue belt in Krav Maga. Her teacher was an Expert and had found that she had potential. Another fact that made her teacher a really good one, was because he used to be in the military. From him, she learned how to use a gun (Not that she hasn't seen one) and how to assemble them.
By the time she was 9, she was a black belt and had already sent countless street thugs to the police.
(Not that they knew it was her. Who would of thought of a 9 year old?)
When she was 10, she met a boy whose name was Ogiwara Shigehiro. He introduced her to basketball, and she loved it. She started making a name for herself on street ball. Phantom Ice, they called her. What a cheesy nickname. Still, she thrived, she won, she lost, and she had fun.
That was, until disaster struck.
It was early morning, and she was walking towards the site. The Finals was almost there, as it was already the sixth day of the event. She looked and couldn't help but show a small smile on her face. Her teammates were behind, chattering and laughing. The girl then remembered how she found them, or rather, they found her.
She was just 8 at the time, walking on the street, unseen by the people surrounding her. She had just finished hauling the thugs to the police station, and was now walking home. She was wondering if she should buy a milkshake, when a voice stopped her thoughts.
"Sugoi! How did you bring all those guys to the police? They were thrice your size?"
The guy in front of her was about the same age and had long, straight black hair. In front, his hair was kept stroked backwards with a few strands in front of his stale blue eyes. She was shooked out of her musings when he asked again.
"So how did you do it?"
She ignored his question and instead shot back one herself. "You can see me?" She pointed a finger at herself.
The boy just grinned. "I have an ability i call Hawk-Eyes. I can see everything that is inside my range which is about 5 meters."
"That's a nice ability."
"Thanks! I'm Takao Kazunari."
Seeing no harm of saying her name, she introduced herself. "Kuroko Tesami."
Soon after, she was introduced to his 3 other friends, all who were 2 years older than her. Anyone of her age would have been scared, but not her. Besides, how could she be scared when they were more like overprotective brothers.
When she was introduced to basketball, she dragged them in too and soon, all of them were hooked. They immediately formed a team called RimFire. Soon enough, they got better, syncing with each other, rising to the top.
Kuroko turned back to her surroundings. Just a few more streets and they were there. As she turned around the corner, she never heard the shouts of her teammates.
"WATCH OU-"
She turned too late, just as the car hit her.
She's 13 now, starting middle school. The crash had put her using only the minimum 20% of her power. Maybe in the end of her middle school years, she might be able to go full power.
They changed. They all changed. Even Midorima and his tsundere personality changed. In the beginning of the middle school, she thought she could trust them. Now... she didnt think she could.
They never looked back at their opponents, never seeing their hollow eyes.
The passions they've broken.
The lives they've killed.
They didnt see it.
They betrayed her trust, just like her.
And in third year, it was like she was fading into the background. Maybe in other times, she wouldve been sad that all of it had fallen apart. Now, she was just indifferent.
It was just the day after the finals, and she had just gotten the sweatbands of Ogiwara, whose hollow eyes were etched into her mind. She shook her head, there was no reason to look at the negativities.
Suddenly, her phone starting beeping.
"Are you sure?"
The voice of Takao came through the speakers.
"I'm fairly sure. I'll still visit if that's whats on your mind."
"Good. Anyways, when is the surgery? They said it had a big probability of you getting into shape with this treatment."
"Tomorrow. I need to let my muscles loose right now so I'm looking for something take care of."
The voice on the line chuckled.
"You mean looking for him?"
She let a small smile onto her lips.
"I can feel it. We're so close now. He's somewhere in the city."
"You dont know for sure, You might meet him today. Anyways, I gotta go now Bye Tet-chan."
"Goodbye."
She slipped her phone back onto her purse.
It was a saturday and she had free time. She might as well get a few thugs and bring them to the police station.
(Bring, as in, haul them up with their face touching the ragged cement.)
Just as she finished, she felt it.
Slowly, she turned around, and there he was.
Goodness, she wanted to cry, scream, anything! But she couldnt. He was there, looking like he did those years ago. His white hair parted in the middle, the mole underneath his left eye.
She looked into his eyes for recognition, and she saw it. She saw it! And he saw her!
They looked at each other for who knows how long. Yet, it was broken by a soft voice, desperation leaking through it.
"Dorothea?"
A smile was seen on her normally impassive face.
"Rainer."
And just like that, they ran towards each other, and grabbed the person as close as they could. They were back. Back together.
With their beloved.

And, thats a wrap. Here you go guys, this is my second story that I posted. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I have a lot of fem!kuroko ideas that just wont leave my mind. Since you guys know this is a HaikyuuxKnB crossover, Im pretty sure you know who Rainer is. Hint: he's in Karasuno.
Dorothea is a name that I thought would look good for Tesami, and it doesn't hurt that its a german name used in the 1930's. Same is for Rainer.
As you know, this is my second story and my first is a crossover with Harry Potter and Kuroko no Basuke with fem!kuroko reincarnated as fem!harry. In that story, she will be going to hogwarts, since it is too prominent in the books to leave without. There will also be other reincarnated individuals so don't think that the people are too OOC.
Again, thank you for all the support, I did not think that I would actually get any reads or favorites.
Thnx,
Amaryllis
