I always thought that writing a fanfic was easy , but I was wrong , so wrong. The most difficult part is the dialogues , they are really hard to make.
Also , English is not my first language and this is also my first fanfic, so if you see any kind of error let me know so I can improve in the future. That is all , enjoy your reading
The very first thing that came to my mind soon after I regain consciousness , was that Keepor made some kind of mistake. There was only darkness around me, I can't feel nothing. I really thought I was in Hell or something like that, and It led me to think, ' if this is not Hell , where am I ? '
I panicked for a moment , thinking about what happened not long ago. , and I thought all that conversation with the angel was a dream or something like that , but thanks the heavens it was not.
I realized , after careful research and thinking , that I was in my new mother … womb. Not going to lie that was a very unique … experience.
After I figured out my situation , I have plenty of time to think on how to use the gifts and about the training that I have to go through in order to utilize the full potential of those abilities.
First , I have the theory on how to use those powers but not how they really work on real life ; so I spent most of my time think on how to use then effectively .
Map is useful , I have all the layout of the places that I have visited on my mind and what my eyes can see . The map is not always visible , I have the option to access it and hide it whenever I want , so it doesn't block my vision when I am on combat. Enemies are visible as a Red dot and allies with blue dots . Useful in all scenarios that I have on mind , perfect to defend places and against ambush , as I know if there is enemies nearby even if I am very far from it. The only drawback it is that it put a burden in your mind if used in excess . Need to test it to see how much time I have until the burden come.
Teleportation in other hand is useful in every aspects , but it is optimized for infiltration and whenever we are in face of certain death , but the restriction of this ability is high , very high. I can travel instantly between places , like spaceships , homes and more , but I have to choose a specific location to land using a mark , visible only to me. Don't have restriction against distance , I can travel between The Cidatel and Earth in a second . But the limitation that exists is that , if the location is a spaceship or a house and the place where I put the mark on was destroyed , I would teleport into the space or worse and I probably will die , and even if I make preparations to survive it , the chances are slim . The Map is useful in this situation too , but there may be an emergency and I don't have the time to check if the mark is still there. There is also a time limit . If I use it , I have to wait 1 hour to use it again. Using it the right way and at right time, it can change everything. Must hide it until the need arrive , I don't need to show the world all my tricks until then.
The Inventory that Keepor gave me , in theory , is a space that time don't meddle with and it is connected with my soul , only I can access it. The space inside it is big , I don't know how big exactly , as I haven't seen it yet , but I think it fits the entire Cidatel in there. The local that Keepor choose to put the inventory is in between my eyebrows , I don't know if I have to put my hand there to grab things but if the information that he passed to me is correct , the items that I choose is going to appear in my hands , or if it is too big , the location around me . Useful. But there also limitations , I can't put living 'things' in there , meaning I can't put , per example , the Normandy if there are people inside. I don't know if the Ai , like EDI and the Geth , are counted as those , i need to check it as soon as possible. Useful to safeguard items , weapons and food . Can kill enemies surrounding me , if I use it the right way. Like teleportation , I don't need to show the world that I have this ability , only if necessary.
Unlimited Stamina , just like Keepor said , is the ultimate gift that the angels gave me . Just like the Map , I have the option to enable and disable the ability. According with what Keepor told me , when it is on i can keep fighting forever if I have to , but I still need to eat and drink water to stop my body from falling apart.. Useful in battle and for training. It does not have any significant limitation , arguably the best gift for the war against the Reapers. Need to test it to prove that it does not have a limit.
And for last but not least important , Biotics. Probably the ability that I will spend most of my time on it , because it requires training in order to reach full power. I have to hide it at all cost during childhood , don't need Cerberus or any organization like that against me when i don't have enough strength to fight back. Keepor said that I don't need bio-amps , just like the Asari , and that is good. My main focus will be barrier and the rest comes after I mastered It .
Now that I got that out of the way , I have a lot of free time. I began to remember about all the fighting styles that I have mastered and began to choose witch one to train first . My enemies here , they are not the same that existed in my older universe , I need a style that is good at being defensive and has a good counter attack.
Krav Maga is the choice. Has good defensive styles and can counter attack if necessary. Of course , it is not the only style that I am going to train , but it is the first .
In less than 20 years , I am about to face the Krogan , Geth , Asari and many others dangerous species , even with very dedicated preparation, I don't think I am ready to face what I am about to … I am glad I got this leisure time to think and relax a little.
' I also need to remember about the games … I remember keys points in the plot but not all of it.'
Keepor said that I can change destiny but what do I change to make the difference significant ? Save Shepard from the Collectors is a must , but what about the rest ?
As I was lost in thought making plans , I didn't even notice the time passing by .
MONTHS LATER , April 2164
In the leisure time that I got thanks to Keepor , I already did make a lot of plans. Now , I only need more time to grow and prepare against the imminent threat .
And now , after what looked like a long time but it was not , i was ready to be brought into my real home.
I will skip the process of being born , and erase from it my memories . I really don't need it.
After I was … pushed out of my mother , I tried to open my eyes.
What I could see was a really big room , with at least 4 people around me and my mother. And right now , all eyes in the room are fixed on me.
'Weird , why everyone is so quiet ?'
''Hhum , nurse , please enroll him in a towel and give it to his mother ,'' the doctor , that appears to be in charge of this operation , told the nurse.
'' A-ah , right away , '' the nurse did as she was told and put me in a towel , ''here ma'am , it's a very healthy baby boy .''
And for the first time since I opened my eyes I finally could see my new mother.
She is beautiful , blonde hair and blue eyes that appears like a diamond. A beauty.
My new mother , took me into her arms and smiled. But suddenly her face contorted an she asked the doctor in a hurry , '' Doctor is there anything wrong with my baby ? Why is he not crying ? ''
The doctor came close and began to look at me . I looked back at him. He seems surprised.
'' He is ok , don't worry , crying is not the only sign of life that a baby can give . Thought he is certainly… special , in various ways.'' The doctor tried to calm her down.
'' What do you mean special ?'' my mother asked in a hurry.
'' First , you son already opened his eyes , moments after he was born. This is very rare , in fact is the first time I see a child like this, take a look at his eyes ,'' he told my mom ,''his eyes already contain some kind of intelligence. ''
'' Based on that you think he is fine !? '' my mother asked the doctor in a tone of anger.
'' Not only that , he does not appears to have any problem externally , his breathing are fine , for what I can see he is alright. Of course we will make a series of exams on him to guarantee that , but for the time being you can hold him until then.''
'Ohh , I guess I need to start cry for now' . I did it and , sure enough , there is already a reaction from my mother.
My mother finally looked calm and returned her attention to me ,'' Hi baby boy , welcome to your family. Your father is not here at the moment but don't worry , he will be here soon.''
She spent the next 5 minutes playing around with me until it was time to the doctor to take me to elsewhere .
After the doctor took me to what looked like an incubator I began to feel tired and ended up falling asleep after few seconds. I really want to test the gift that Keepor gave me but now it was not the time.
After sleeping for about 8 hours , I finally get to see the face of my father. He is tall man , blue hair and green eyes. Appears to be in the military , has the air of a high ranking soldier.
My mother, that I recently found out the name , spoke to him , '' Dear , did you see him ? He is exactly like you .''
'' Angela … he doesn't even have his face definition and you already says he looks like me ? '' my father, Angelo , said while smiling.
'' Nonsense , he appears to be your clone.,'' my mother said that with a huge grin.
The face that my father had on as priceless.
As they continued their playful behavior , I started to grow tired again . Damn , not even 10 minutes passed and I am already tired!?
As I began to fall asleep , i swear I could see the engines of fate starting to move ….
15 YEARS LATER
This Is fun. Really fun.
If you ask me what is so funny , is me running at full speed for around 6 hours straight and not feeling tired at all. I guess I am running even faster than Bolt now .
And when I ran , I can think better , so this is a routine for me. It was in one of those runs that I remembered what Keepor told me. That Shepard is a female and , somehow , they knew what psychological profile she would have , War Hero , but how did they knew that ? They , somehow , know the future or they made a mistake? What if I , unintentionally , changed the past and that affected her future as a soldier ?
After that , I really wanted to talk to Keepor but I held it , he specifically told me to enter in contact only on emergences. But the next time I talk to him i will ask some question about this.
As I kept running , I started to remember the years that have passed …
Those past 15 years have been peaceful. I have spent my entire time training my abilities and preparing from what is coming.
I have a good relationship with my family. We led a happy life , we are not rich but not poor either. In fact , in those 15 years I have keep a lot of money In case of emergency .
But the only real emergency that happened was years ago , even before I was born.
The First Contact War happened 22 years ago , so humanity is already know out in the galaxy. After that war , humanity had several breakthroughs in technology and weapons. They think they are ready for everything and everyone out there , but they are so wrong …
As i started running back home , I started to remember the times that when I tested and trained my abilities…. That was interesting to say at least.
Map is much more useful than what I thought , but there is not much training to do . The only training I need to do is to activate it while running or fighting , so that it don't affect my vision that much. It is difficult to shoot while a screen is right in your face . It is making progress but not much.
I've been using the inventory almost every day since I was born , the space inside it is almost unlimited. The food only rot after a long time , for example I put an apple inside it when I was 3 years old and when I took it out 1 year later and it was still fresh , then I put it back and waited another 5 years , only then did it rot . Water is fine , now I am testing weapons and such , but they appears to be fine even after years.
I already put marks in almost all my hometown on Earth , and can safely say that Teleport is going to be a crucial part of my plan against the Reapers, because i now live in another city and can safely teleport there in seconds , thought the cool down is a problem , 1 hour is much time in a situation of life and death. I still didn't face any problems with it , but I have an emergency kit in my inventory in case of something like that ever happen. Of course I do all this in secrecy.
Unlimited Stamina is literally the best , my body is now way more strong than in my past world, and there I was one of the best soldiers of all times , so that says something. I don't feel any fatigue even if I run an entire day, also i can push my body way past the normal limit, but I also need a lot of calories to maintain my body working. All in all , is a perfect ability for prolonged fights .
For my biotics , my main focus was Barrier , to stop the bullets and impacts that came in my way . I also know how to use almost all of other others moves, like Pull , Throw and Singularity . From what I remember from the games and what I can do now , I am already strong like Jack or even stronger. Nobody know that I am a Biotic , thanks to Keepor , so I do all my training in secret too.
Before I even noticed , I was already at home. I used my key to enter the house and tried to go directly to my room to test some ideas that I had , but my mother caught me before I could enter my room.
'' Hey young man ,'' I flinched and stopped , '' where have you been all this time ? ''
'' Running . '' I told her the truth . One time I tried to lie to her and didn't end well for me or my father.
'' For 6 hours straight ? '' she asked in doubt .
'' Mom , you know me , I love exercising .'' and it is the truth.
'' If you say so … now go take a bath , and hurry up, because dinner is almost ready '' as soon as she said that I ran to the bathroom and undressed.
Before entering the bath , I stopped and looked in the mirror.
Green Hair , that my father and mother have no idea where it came from , blue eyes , this came from my mother , and a face that I recognize from my past life , only this time more refined and beautiful. My body is way more defined than other of my age , with muscle that is not big but contain a monstrous strength behind it. More 3 years and it will reach pinnacle , and it will look exactly the way I made myself back there , with Keepor .
' I really did a good job , I look almost like a superstar '
Another thing that I noticed is my personality , it did a complete turn. In my old life I was serious and meticulous , but now .. I almost look like another person. I make joke about everything and sometimes I can even be a nuisance for my parents for my relaxed way. Keepor did tell me that my emotions was restricted in that other universe , but to think that was really true is hard .
But keys points of my old personality still remains intact. In the end , I am still me.
After the bath, i went down to the living room and dinner was ready. Mom and dad are waiting for me to eating.
'' Sorry for taking so long to finish , I lost track of time every time I take a shower .'' I told them and sit down at the table.
'' It is ok John , you are right on time.'' My mother told me.
As I was serving my dinner , I noticed that my father , Angelo , is looking intensively at me.
'' Is everything alright father ? '' I asked him after having served myself
'' John .. what do you want to do after you finish High School ? '' he asked a unexpected thing.
I put a face that I was thinking but I already knew the answer , '' To tell you the truth , after finishing high school I plan to go on a vacation , for at least 3 years , and after that i plan to go to the military .''
'' 3 years ? Isn't that a really long time ? '' my mother asked .
'' To tell you the truth mom , I already know everything I need to know , and I am years ahead of everyone . And I am honestly thinking of pursuing a military career just like dad.''
My father is already retired, I always ask why did he retire so soon ( 40 ) , and the answers is to spend more time with me and mom.
'' If you want a career in the military you can't spend 3 years doing nothing and letting the others get ahead of you.'' My father is a serious guy when it came to things about the future.
'' Relax dad , I can beat anyone when it comes to fighting .'' I told him the truth.
He raised an eyebrow , '' Really ? '' I nodded , '' Even me ? '' he asked.
I stopped my fork in the air and looked at him . He is serious. What do I do ?
I started thinking about what to do and reached the conclusion that is better if I demonstrate him some of my skills.
'' Even you . '' I told him.
He stared at me for a while and said , '' Good , if you beat me in a fight I will let you do what you want , but only if you beat me. ''
'' Good . After dinner ? '' I asked
He nodded and goes back to eating .
'' And I don't have an opinion in this matter? '' my mother asked.
'' Of course you have mom , but I already know that you will let me do it , father was the only thing in my way. '' I smiled at her and told her a sweet truth .
Just as I suspected , after I told her that she smiled and said, '' Yes you're right … now you only have to beat your dad . Mom is on your side.''
'' Hey!'' my father objected , '' what about me ? ''
'' I am on your side to honey , '' she give him a kiss , '' but on this one I think you're going to lose .''
'' We will see .'' he says that and looked at me , his fighting spirit reaching more than 9000 .
And just like that , I now have a fight with my father.
After Dinner
'' Are you sure you want to do this ? '' I asked for the third time.
'' Just shut up and lets fight. '' my father said .
We are now in the garden of our house , wearing gloves and getting in position .
'' … if you really says so , mom give the signal.'' I told my mom.
'' Remember , we are on family , so hold back your punches , '' we both nodded , '' On three. One , Two … Three. Go .''
Just as she finished counting, my father throws a punch right on my face .
As the punch is approaching , I take a look at his posture. Good one , perhaps he has already mastered the fighting style that he choose .
I deflected the punch at the last second and retaliated with a right hook, he blocked it with his free hand and went on to counterattack.
I blocked it easily and kicked him so fast he didn't even notice before it was too late. He didn't have time to defend himself and the kick hit him hard and he fell to the floor.
I offered my hand to him to back up , '' Here old man , take it . ''
His face says everything , he appears to have seen a ghost or something like that .
He took my hand and stared at me.
'' Again .'' he says and goes back to his initial posture .
I grinned and nodded.
20 MINUTES LATER
My father , that now is splattered on the ground , told me , '' You … can … go on this .. vacation of yours .''
I only smiled and helped him get up.
'' With you fighting like that I doubt anyone that I know can beat you. Where do learn to fight like that?'' he asked , genuinely curious.
'' Secret.'' I told him.
'' Ohhh , you really are secretive aren't you ? '' he asks playfully , '' now only between us , what do you need for this vacation ? '' he asked .
I looked at him in surprise , not expecting that he would say something like this.
It appears that he noticed my surprise and snorted , '' Do you really think that I would leave my son go into a vacation , if it's really a vacation , without any sort of preparation ? You need to know your old man better.'' He patted my back.
'' Now go on , tell me what you need.'' He asks again.
I looked at him and said the truth , '' A lot of things .''
3 YEARS LATER
Those past few years have been nice , I got to spend a lot of my time with my family , enjoying the peace that we still have.
But unfortunately this peace is nothing going to last much longer , a year at most.
So it is time to start my plan and leave my family for a long time.
I already said goodbye to my mother and my father is now taking me to a spaceship that goes to the Cidatel.
'' My friend says that your personal spaceship is already with him , you only need to go the Wards. He will meet you there with the things you asked me… Are you sure that you are not going to get in trouble ? '' my father asked as we arrive in the location of my ride.
'' You know I can't promise you that father , but I promise you that I will be okay. Please take care of mom for me .'' I said that and give him a hug.
'' Stay safe out there kid , whatever you are going to do , know that your family supports you.'' He says that while almost crying.
'' Don't worry father I will be okay .. '' as I was getting closer to enter the spaceship I suddenly paused and told my father , '' Father , wait .''
He was getting in the car but stopped and turns his attention to me , '' What it is son ? Are you missing me already ? ''
I take a deep breath , '' Father , the galaxy is on the edge of a war that will change everything. So please , do the thing that I told you before and prepare yourself and mom. Please , do it.''
'' Ohh , you are talking about those dreams that you have ? Okay son , but if a war is really happening why are you leaving ? '' he says while smiling .
I thinks he doesn't believe me …. Well I warned him and he is a smart guy , he will notice that something is wrong in a few months, '' I can take care of myself . Now it is really time to go , bye .'' I waved at him while entering in the spaceship.
To tell you the truth I am a little excited , I have never been in a spaceship before.
As I watched Earth getting smaller , i let the excitement pass and started getting ready for what I am to do.
First stop , Cidatel.
CIDATEL
When I told myself that my inventory can put the entire Cidatel in there , I really believed it. But now that I have seen it personally , I realize that it way more big than I initially thought.
I got out of the spaceship in a daze and started to make my ways between the mazes of the Cidatel. Finally , after 3 hours , I found the place that my father told me.
'' Hey , is anyone here ? '' I knocked on the door of the place.
After a lot of noise , of things falling on the ground , an old Turian came to me.
'' Who is it !? Can't you see that is already night ? '' he tried to look intimidating but that doesn't work with me.
I looked up at the celling and , sure enough, it is day time as always , so I smirked and started to talk , '' my father told me that you have my spaceship ready ? ''
He finally realized that who I was and smiled , if a turian can even do that , '' Ohh so it is Angelo son , how is that guy doing ? Is he okay ? ''
'' Yes , my old man is all right. Now let's talk about business . Did you make the modification that I asked ? '' I asked.
'' Yes but it was difficult . Why did you even want that many things ? It costs a lot more than a normal spaceship.'' He asked , guiding me to the hangar of the Citadel.
'' I have my reasons.''
Then we spent the rest of time chatting away about various things , until we finally arrived to my new ship.
It was a nice spaceship , it wasn't that big , but it was big enough for a room and the cockpit.
''Wow , it looks really good . '' I sincerely praised his work , it looks sturdy and beautiful.
'' It looks good because I build it . If I didn't own a debt to your father , you would never get a spaceship like this , ever . Now , I believe that you know how to use it , right ? '' he looked really smug when he talked about the spaceship.
''Yes , I know the theory behind it but it is going to be my first time piloting it.'' I told him.
He silently started to back away and said his goodbye , '' O-oh I suddenly remember that I have a lot of work to do , so I have to go now .'' I managed to shake hands before he ran away with a speed that match a younger turian.
I didn't even spend a day in the Citadel. I couldn't waste anymore minute , the fate of the whole galaxy is at stake.
Next stop , Mars.
Mars
I thought that it would be difficult to gain access into a highly security facility that shouldn't even exist , but it was way too easy. It is probably because they still don't know how valuable is the true information here.
I got inside with the help of an old friend of my father , thanks again old man , and he let me search the Prothean Archives.
He led a tour through the site , always staying hidden from the cameras and others personal , and I thought he was joking at first , until we reached the Prothean Artifact .
Even I was shocked that he let me do it , '' Hey Leon , are you sure you can let me do this ? This place was not supposed to be super classified even with the Alliance ? ''
Leon , my father friend , talked like it was no big deal , '' Go ahead , I own your father way more than this , besides we already translated all the stuff that we could , so make yourself confortable.''
'' But It might have a lot of crucial information here , like a super weapon or worse. Can I really do this ? '' I asked again .
'' To tell you the truth , I don't really care about this. All of this data probably can't be translated , and I know that you don't speak Prothean right ? '' I nodded , '' see ? No problem . But what I am doing is a crime , so stay hidden and out of the reach of cameras and don't let anyone know that I let you do this, I could lose my job and be sent to jail.''
This was really unexpected . I mean , I only came to the facility to put a mark on it for later , not to find the Crucible already.
I began to think , do I really need that data now ? Sure , if I took it and show it do the Council they might started to build it already , and we will be a step ahead of the Reapers. But what if Sovereign or the Collectors find out about this ? This could possibly led to the downfall of the universe way more soon.
I reached the conclusion to grab all data that I could , in order to find the Crucible , but not show it to the Council yet. It will not bring any good if revealed too soon.
As I began to download everything related to blueprints from the Prothean Archives to my Omni tool , I asked Leon , '' How many people on the Alliance know about this place?''
'' Only the high ranking officers .'' he answered.
'' So how does my father know about this place ? For what I know , he was not that high in the ranks.'' I asked in doubt;
'' Your father was a good soldier , so much that he has favors to receive from almost all high ranks in the Alliance , including Hackett , so he probably knows way more things than me ''
Wow , who my father really is ? To have that type of person owning a favor and knows secrets like this place , he must be a really bad ass.
As we are chatting , I already downloaded everything related with blueprints from it .
'' Finished.'' I told him.
'' Really ? But you didn't even grab 20 % of the data. Are you sure ? '' he ask in doubt.
'' I am sure , I already have everything that I need , so let's go before anyone knows that we came here.'' I told him.
The way to the exit was way more stressful than when we entered. It appears that the staff is back from lunch time or something like that.
We almost got caught a couple of times but , in the end , we managed not to get caught in the cameras or the staff.
Leon guided me to my ride here on Mars and said goodbye.
When I was leaving , I remember something , '' Leon '' , he stopped and look at me , '' I think it is better if you find another job , preferably on Earth .'' I told him .
'' Ok … but why are you telling me this ? '' he asked , looking very confused . I would be too , if a 18 years old told me that I should quit my job .
'' Just a feeling . But if you decide to follow my advice , please do it soon , it is for your own safety , you will not regret it. ''
I began to make my way back to the Colony of Mars , specifically its capital , Lowell City , where I have parked my spaceship.
Well , step 2 is completed and I gained way more than what I needed in this trip . Hopeful the others planets that I need to visit will be the same.
Next stop , Feros.
Feros
I really don't like this place. Right now I am on the Zhu's Hope Colony, trying to find a place to put a mark on and get out of here. I wanted to put a mark in the ExoGeni building but the colonists didn't let me pass , for obvious reasons. To think that there is a Thorian below me right now give me the creeps. I found a place to put the mark on and got out of there in a hurry , not staying in the planet for more than 1 hour .
Considering everything , I did what I came to do. Now I am hoping that they don't recognize me when I come back here with Shepard.
Step 3 completed, next stop Therum.
Therum
My first opinion on this planet is that is hot , really hot. The second is that is hot as hell .
As soon I was landed , i start to make my way to the Ruins , to place a mark as close as possible.
I am running out of time , so I just put in a rock nearby the Ruins and hoped that is not destroyed after months.
I managed to get back to my spaceship and out of this planet after 4 long hours. With this task done , I am left with a little more and it is done.
IN THE SPACESHIP , Death to Death.
Now that I think about it , I spent more of my time in my spaceship than on the planets that I visited , that is quite sad.
Leaving my wounded heart aside , my plan meet some unforeseen circumstances.
I forgot that to gain access to Novaria I need an authorization and a reason to visit and I don't really have one. I could probably gain access if i paid the right person , but I am going to visit it anyway , so it is not worth the risk. But that pretty much fucked a part of my plans .
Virmire is a problem too , because I don't know if Sauren is already there making that clone factory. I decided not to risk it, because Sovereign is probably already here , on Milk way , and I don't want him or Sauren after me. At least not yet.
So , the only thing left to do is Eden Prime.
God help me.
Eden Prime
Five months since I started my ' Vacation ' and now I am on the place that is going to be the start of the Apocalypse.
I rented a place close to the place that the Harbinger will land. It was quite cheap , if you take in consideration the beauty of this planet .
'' Thank you so much . '' I told the man that passed me the keys to my new temporary home.
He simply waved at me and left.
As soon as he left I entered the place. It was not big but I will manage. A room , a bathroom and a kitchen.
I put down my things and went to sleep right away.
I woke up the next day and spent most of my time tidying up the place. I need a lot of space for what I'm about to take out.
After 5 hours cleaning and tidying up the place, I finally manage to find a space where I could store the things that I need.
I began taking out a box and a very sturdy table. Inside that box contain all kinds of weapons that you can possible imagine , ranging from rifles like the Tsunami X , to shotguns like Katana. You name it , I have it, if you don't count the weapons that have yet to appears on the galaxy.
I put all those weapons on the table and started to make modifications on them , like putting a suppressor on a pistol , extending the ammo capacity of the Assaults Rifles and many more. I am only doing this now because I didn't have time nor privacy back on Earth and my spaceship didn't have enough space for me to do it.
I also made a huge modification on my weapons , like removing the thermal clips and choose the normal way , the way i remembered from my older universe. I encountered some problems doing this , but in the end i succedeed. Maybe in the future i will change to Thermal clips , but for now i will stay with this type of gun.
Of course I also have done modification on the ammunition , like Incendiary Rounds and Cryo ammo. I have managed to put them into a magazine and into my weapon. Now , i just have to change weapons , to the one that have said ammo. I know it is a lot of trouble , but i like this way. Maybe later i will change it too.
I have at least 5 of the same weapon , each of them with different types of ammo , ready for any type of enemies that I might face.
I am also painting them . Yes , painting. Don't judge me , I always liked my weapons with color , it brings a certain type of charm to them.
I spent the next 2 weeks doing this. It was worth it , I now have all of them in my inventory ready to use.
Now , for the next step of arming myself up, I need a little help from my father. Again.
So i used my omni-tool to call home , and seconds after I called someone answered , '' Hello , who is it ? '' I asked.
'' Hi , it's Angela . Who is it ? '' I hoped that my father would pick up but it was my mother.
'' It's me mom , John. '' Damned be my luck , I was hoping my father would answer.
'' Ahhh , my baby boy , so it's you. Why are you calling home today ? '' she asked cheerfully.
'' I need something from dad , is he at home ? '' I asked .
'' Oh , sorry hun , he is out right now . He will be back after 2 hours. It is something urgent ? Maybe I can help you.''
'' Sorry mom , but is a private matter between us . '' I told her , '' so when he get home , can you tell him to call me ? ''
'' Of course I can .'' she told me .
'' Ok , then b- , '' before I finished talking , she interrupted me.
'' But if you guys are going to talk about the Armor that your father tried to hide from me , I can help too .'' I swear I could feel her smirk even from here.
'' Did you guys seriously think that you can hide things from me ? And John answer me , are you doing something dangerous ? Because I have seen the armor , it is not a joke , is the real deal. Are you in trouble ? Do you need help ?'' she started to talk like a granny , but I know that she is just worried about me .
'' No mom , I am not in trouble and don't need help , the armor it is just for precaution. And we never tried to hide things from you , we only hoped that you never found out about them.'' I told her while sweating bullets.
'She might be more dangerous than dad' I reached this conclusion on the spot.
'' I will let this slide since it was the first time that I found something like that. Now , where do I sent it ? ''
'' A-are you really sending it ? '' I asked in doubt. Because in the box that my dad has at home , it have way more dangerous things than the armor.
''Son, I already told you , I will support you in everything that you want to do , even this. But please , promise that you will not engage in something like assassination or something like that.''
So she have seen what is inside the box , but didn't ask any more questions … Really , mom is the best.
'' I promise mom.'' I will enter something far more worse. Sorry about that.
After that I sent her my address on Eden Prime, so she can send me the box containing the armor and the rest.
2 weeks later it finally came.
I opened the awful big box and look at the contents inside it.
There is 2 Armor inside , one looks like a Heavy Armor , that contains the highest level of protection against enemy fire but it reduces mobility . I will only use it in situations where the space is limited. And the other is probably a Light Armor , high mobility but less protection. This is the armor that I will use almost all the time.
But why are there 2 armors ? I swear I only asked one from dad…
As I was searching around any clue , a note fall down the light armor and I picked up.
' I noticed that you choose a Heavy armor , so I took the liberty to send you a light one , only for fun . Love you , Mom '
My lips twitched.
'How did she get a armor like this … Damn , now even my mom is bad ass.''
I took those two pieces of armor , put them on table and began to work. First , I will start with the Heavy.
First , since the Heavy armor has almost no mobility , let's take everything out and focus on shields only. As I said , I will only use it in situation where the space is limited , so I will be almost a tank with so many shields in there . Need to find a way to change armor fast without the need to stop a battle. Maybe I can do it with inventory… I will take a note on that and try later on.
Second , the Light armor. I will do the opposite here and focus on speed. I will leave behind a shield that is capable of taking one shot only , for safety , because I don't plan to be hit no even once. Maybe later , when i make allies with the crew , I can ask then to add a cloaking device , just like the one that Kasumi has.
But before I start making those upgrades , let me see what else they send me ..

….. ..HOLY FUCK , WHO ARE MY PARENTS!?
With the things inside here I could probably destroy an entire city … Well it will be useful , but how did they get those things !?
I think it's better if I don't know.
Now , after putting everything in my inventory , I returned my attention to those 2 armor. I have a lot of work to do.
1 MONTH LATER
Modifying those armors took a lot of my time , way more than what thought. But finally , after one month , I finished.
It was worth the time that I spent on it , I mean , even i know how to appreciate a nice piece of armor , and I have to say , mine is special.
The heavy one , I don't know who made it , it's huge. It look a piece of armor that a Krogan would use , but it was mine. The helmet is black , the chest piece dark green , the arms both red and the legs black as well. I almost couldn't walk wearing it , because of its weight , but I will manage with more training.
The light armor , the primary color is gray, with the arms and legs dark blue. It looks really nice to. But I think I might have to change colors if I want to get that cloaking device . In the future I will add more shield to it , but for now I better watch out from every shot in my direction .
And that's it . I am ready , or better , I think I am ready. All my training during childhood , and teenager years will have to pay off.
Of course , I have more plans to put on action , but they will only work after what is about to happen here , in Eden Prime . As I said before , here is the start of the Apocalypse , but if I do things right , it can be the start of a new beginning for the universe.
Now , I only need to wait. Wait until that Reaper land here and start this war.
In the meantime , I will do what I can. Training nonstop with the help of Unlimited Stamina.
So I did it , only stopping training to take a shower and occasionally sleep. For months , waiting and waiting ….
And finally , after more 6 months , the bastards came.
I stopped my training , put the light armor on and checked all my weapons. I am ready.
I opened the door of my house , looked to the sky and finally see the appearance of the Sovereign. It's massive , it way bigger than any other spaceship I have seen in my life.
I looked directly at him , give him my middle finger and spring into action.
'' I coming for you bitchessss.''
