Mexico (Brain vs Brawn Beauty) - Meet the Cast
Chapter 1 - Introducing the Castaways
(Story pic set to change either when the logo is made or when the YouTube intro is ready)
Well, here we go again, guys. Season three of my Survivor series is officially coming, and the pre-season is ready to begin. Thank you all who have stuck with me for all this time, as well as my new readers who I discovered during the publishing of Survivor - Emperors vs Knights. At this point in the series, I have established a routine when it comes to my Survivor eras: pre-season first, then the main story, and then the Ponderosa side story as soon as the season enters the jury phase.
For those of you who are completely new to this, welcome to the prequel to Survivor - Mexico (Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty). What you are viewing at the moment is the first chapter of the pre-season where characters are interviewed pre-game of what can people expect from them. I have an Alloy as the interviewer and Master Hand is going to be the host as usual. There are going to be eighteen contestants for the season, six people on each tribe.
We have Rosalina and Daisy (from Super Mario), Funky Kong (from Donkey Kong Country), Isabelle (from Animal Crossing), Incineroar (from Pokemon), Bandanna Dee (from Kirby), Katt Monroe and Panther Caruso (from StarFox, Jet the Hawk and Espio the Chameleon (from Sonic the Hedgehog), Ryu (from Street Fighter), Tifa (from Final Fantasy 7), Plague Knight, King Knight, and Specter Knight (from Shovel Knight), Chica and Golden Freddy "Golden" (from FNAF (not robots though, as anthropomorphic characters like the StarFox and Sonic crew since my series is basically an AU), and like last time, we have a whole new franchise to be introduced: Jimmy Hopkins from a game called Bully from the mid 2000s which is considered to be a cult classic.
Now I will explain even more, but I don't want this intro to be too long, so more will be said in the outro of this chapter, and for those of you who don't even know what Survivor is, maybe this will be a mystery as you all will read on and try to guess what the show is about. And afterwards, I'll explain the theme of the season as well as the location!
Hope you enjoy!
~KF
Brain Tribe (Coatí)
"The brain tribe's name is Coatí, member of the raccoon family known for its intelligence. These six people are known for developing their own strategies and thinking outside the box in life situations. When it comes to Survivor of all things, the plan is simple: what is the best root for you? You can have all the strategies you want."
Funky Kong
"Well, guess we officially have our second member of the Kong family out here!"
"Yep." The bandanna wearing ape grinned largely. "As soon as I saw Donkey Kong's season, I was more than ready to be out here. I don't even think that he of all people expected me to be on this tribe, but I guess it actually makes perfect sense."
He was seen relaxing in the shelter interacting with multiple members of his tribe.
"What makes you think you fit in with this tribe?"
"You see, on first glance people would think I belong on the brawn tribe, but not everything has to be judged by his cover." He opinionated. "It makes perfect sense for me to be here because a little birdie probably told someone of the Survivor team that I basically make inventions for DK and his nephew so that they can travel along."
"...You make inventions?" The Alloy was certainly astonished indeed.
"Yep. Transportation methods so the two can go around and get to places easier." Kong elaborated. "It is not everyday someone actually drives a car through the forest, because... it's a jungle! So a little creativity wouldn't hurt."
"So," The Alloy suddenly decided to change the topic at hand. "since you are Donkey Kong's cousin, do you think that would make you a threat?"
"Hmm... Good question." Funky Kong surprisingly never thought of the situation such as the interviewer described. "Hasn't crossed my mind that much. I hope that wouldn't make me a threat. We're only cousins. Not siblings. Donkey's even more uptight than I am, so I really doubt that people would target me because of that. ...He can be a little too serious at times, so hopefully with me kinda being the opposite of that, maybe I would be perceived as less of a threat. Winning this means everything to me, so I'm ready to go."
"Cowabunga!" With one leap, the ape splashed right into the lake, his face popping up from the water moments later. "Ugh... Not really a beach, but better than nothing."
Espio
"Alright, Espio, let's get to it."
"Okay." He nodded with a smirk.
"What is your occupation?"
"I'm a ninja detective."
"!" She was actually near speechless upon hearing that. "Are you serious?"
"Yep. For years."
"Wow." The Alloy could not have believed it. "Not only you are ninja, but you are also a detective. I do not even need you to explain why you are on this tribe. Oh, and we also had a ninja on here before."
"Sheik?"
"Exactly."
"Only seen about two episodes before I was brought out here." He commented. "Can not wait to get back to Emperors vs Knights so I can see even more of her, and hopefully we will become fast friends."
"I think you two will."
With the camera going up from his legs, the chameleon gradually turned around to face the camera.
"I am a member of the Team Chaotix Detective Agency and we solve crimes for a living." Espio explained. "Sorta like being a fighter, detective, and a police officer all in one package."
"You think all of that would make you a threat?"
"I... think that it's likely. So I'll just tell everyone that I'm a detective and that's it. I mean, I'm already on the Brain tribe. I do not want to be the biggest threat right out of the game, because I need to figure out a plan here to go the whole way. Not being cocky or anything, since I will plan my game little by little as the days go on and the more tribals I survive. I will admit that I am a bit of a fan, so I think this is the moment where I can put my skills to the test."
Espio was now being shown tossing a palm frond onto the shelter.
Isabelle
She waved at the camera with glee.
"What do you do for a living?"
"Well," a short, dog-like creature started. "I basically do whatever I can to help the town that I came from. And helping out an entire town of course isn't easy, but I really do love what I'm doing!"
"Making a town a better place for ones to live is always a good thing." The Blue Alloy was proud of what Isabelle was doing.
"Yeah, it really is. I love where I live and I always encourage others to help out and do lots of activities when they can!" She smiled. "Sure, people say that I am a workaholic and that I should probably take time off a little bit. ...Well,... here I am!"
"Were they shocked when they found out you were going to be on the show?"
"Of all things they thought I would do, they never expected me to do this. And it only took me one try to get in! So I am very glad that I'll be here. Me being heavily involved in my community is just enough experience for me to help out with my tribe in terms of shelter, challenges (at least when it comes to puzzles), or even just tribe harmony, I'm there."
"Okay, well being enthusiastic in a game like this really brings some positive vibes to the people you are playing with, so I do wish you luck, Isabelle."
"I have no idea what to expect out here, since I've never even been to Mexico before. And no matter what happens, I'm gonna go back to my town and tell everyone all about it so that maybe they can step outside the box and apply for it someday."
"So what would be your strategy out here?"
"Well, perhaps for the start of my game, I would try my best and observe and see what the tribe dynamic is going to be like, with all the while, making sure that I'm approachable say if somebody needs me or something, and I would see what I can do if I actually plan on working with them... Though the tricky part is the fact that we have eighteen personalities out here, which of course makes Survivor complicated right from the start."
Plague Knight
"Guess what?"
The Alloy giggled a bit. "What?"
"...I'm a master alchemist!"
"Oh, really?" She found that rather interesting. "That's awesome! You enjoy it?"
"Very much." He nodded quickly. "I have my own lab and everything!"
"Hehehe!" Master Hand's employee laughed a bit. "You seem very excited to be out here!"
"I've always wanted to try it!" Plague Knight actually began glancing around a bit. "I mean... It is not exactly the everyday environment that I am used to, but I'm willing to give a try."
"More of an indoor person?"
"Well, in a lab, it is kinda what I'm used to. Not normal for an alchemist like me to be out here, that's for sure."
In spite of that, he was at the camp spotted stirring rice in a pot.
"How do you think you'll be out there with the others?"
"Well, I'm... I'm hoping that I'm on the best team, because I don't want to be on the team that doesn't know what they're doing, especially since we're on the Brain tribe. ...Though I am quite curious about all of them. ...To be honest, I do worry a bit about Tribal Council, since I do not want to be the first eliminated of course. But if I'm on the right tribe, then everything will go well! ...I just hope I'm not targeted because of what I do. ...I mean, I can't help that! You know?"
Golden
"Alright, so Golden, do you think you were put on the right tribe?"
"I guess it's understandable." A anthropomorphic, yellowish bear replied. "I mean, if it wasn't for me having no choice but to take the manager position of where I work at, I don't think I'd even be here."
He was shown to be wielding an axe before using it to slice open pieces of wood.
"Oh?"
He had to elaborate. "See, my old boss used to be a manager of where I work at, but we lost him due to illness. But before he passed on, he wanted to me to lead everyone on. So after a while, I chose to start up a restaurant of my own called Fredbear's Family Diner. ...You probably already met Freddy."
"Yes, he was on last season. Friend of yours?" She wondered.
"No, we never met, but I heard about what he does for a living. My restaurant inspired his, as well as many other establishments across the country." Golden informed.
That actually made her widen her eyes. "Oh, really?"
He chuckled a little. "Yeah, really. Kinda funny of how his name has the first four letters of Fredbear in it. What a coincidence. He knows I exist but I didn't know he existed until now."
"Oh wow, that's rather interesting! What made you come here?"
"I came out here just to try something new. I announced that I was applying for the show and now people that work with me wanna come out here." He explained. "But for me, I think I'm an approachable person, or at least that's hopefully how people would perceive me out here, since that's how you build relationships and earn people's trust. I could carry the tribe in challenges, and if there needs to be some strategy going on, I'm willing to help others that might need mine."
And on the tribe himself, he was doing just that with a couple of his tribe members.
Jimmy Hopkins
"Hmm... So you are an eighteen year old coming from one of the worst academies in the country." The Alloy was already being informed of Jimmy Hopkins's backstory. "I..."
He laughed, figuring she never knew what to exactly think of it. "Don't worry. It's alright."
"Well,... you are the youngest contestant for the season." She pointed out. "And you came from Dixmor Academy. Now you have graduated and you are moving on to bigger and better things."
"Exactly."
"So given your position, you must have a pretty unique reason for coming out here." Master Hand's employee assumed.
"Well, I did nothing but outsmart anyone who got in my way by plotting and scheming bullies in the academy that they think they can get away with everything." Jimmy shrugged it off as if it was nothing.
The kid was spotted dashing away upon Master Hand giving the castaways permission to start a challenge.
"I mean, I was sent to that academy for... not the most positive reasons." He had to admit. "But now that I think about it, I'm glad I got sent there. I would have never made some many strategic moves in there just to own my enemies. Then I became the most popular kid in the whole school! ...Don't mean to brag, but you know what I'm sayin'."
Both of them shared a laugh, Hopkins then being seen giving an intimidating look at the camera with folded arms.
"So I'd take it that you're not afraid out here?"
"Nothin'." He immediately shook. "I dunno about the whole actual survival thing, but my strategy is that given with my experience, long story short, if someone comes at me, I'm gonna come at them back twice as hard."
Brawn Tribe (Toro)
"The brawn tribe's name is 'Toro', which means 'Bull.' Specifically, it refers to the spanish fighting bull known for its aggression and stamina. These six people are known for either their brute strength or for their aggressive personalities. Knowing that you want to earn the title of Sole Survivor, you're gonna have to fight."
Incineroar
At the camp, Incineroar the Pokemon was seen carrying a large log over for his team.
"So, you're a boxing ring champion?"
"Indeed I am!" Incineroar was more pumped than ever. "And I'm proud of it, too!"
"You know, we've actually had a boxing ring champion compete on the show before. Have you seen Kodai Island?" The interviewer asked.
"You mean Little Mac?" He immediately knew which castaway she was referring to. "Yeah, I know him. He's actually the one who made me apply for the show."
"Ooh, really?" She was a little surprised. "And then… here you are, right?"
"Yep!" He quickly nodded.
However, as he was holding a log with one arm, he ended up tripping over another. Next thing he knew he was on the ground, slowly growling as a result.
"Okay, now obviously the reason to why you were put on the Brawn tribe is literally self-explanatory, what I wanna know is what exactly life is like in the arena?"
"Oh, I'll tell you about it." Judging by the Pokemon's enthusiasm, Incineroar had no problems spilling details of his life in the ring and the spotlight in general. "You get to fight all these amazing competitors. Now, obviously I'd like to win. But I think that it's even more exciting when you get to fight what I'd like to call, a 'worthy opponent' if you know what I mean."
"Oh, okay!" The Alloy seemed to pick up what Incineroar had put down. "So you like to face tough competitors in order to improve yourself."
"You speak my language."
That actually made her laugh.
"I mean, fighting opponents that never really stand a chance can get kinda boring… But competing against others that are actually worth it? Those are the type of people that I like to play against."
"So do you plan on telling anyone that you're a boxing champion?"
He actually took some time to think about it. "...You know, to be honest, if someone actually asks me that, I'm not gonna lie. I'm already on the Brawn tribe, so why not let them know?"
Katt
"What's a mercenary like you doing here?"
"Wanting to try something new. That's what."
Both of them shared a big laugh.
"Well, I guess I can come off as a little... sassy at times. But I say whatever's on my mind." She explained. "However, that is not even a big reason to why I'm on this tribe."
"Oh, there's more to the story?" Now the interviewer was curious.
"I was a member of an intergalactic gang with my friend, Falco Lombardi."
"...What!?"
She was seen laughing along with Tifa and Jet.
"Yeah, I know." That was the exact reaction Monroe expected. "I've already seen his season and already know what he did. So now, it's my turn. But yeah, we called ourselves the Hot Rodders back in the day. I'm surprised Falco never told anyone about that when he was on Survivor."
"Maybe it slipped his mind." The Alloy shrugged.
She giggled at that. "Perhaps so. Maybe it's just another sign that he's moved on. We disbanded and all of us were off to do bigger and better things. ...But while we were the Hot Rodders, we were known to be fierce and very strong. We didn't take a whole lotta mess back in those days, and Falco would agree completely."
"Are you two at least a bit similar in personality."
"Maybe." Katt shrugged. "Falco's just a bit more rough around the edges, especially when he doesn't get his way. Maybe some people think that I'm similar in that regard, but I'm more of a good version. ...But I'm still someone not to be messed with!"
"Like how you could be nice until you are rubbed the wrong way?"
"...Wow..." She blinked. "Saw right through me..."
Jet
"'Sup?"
"'Sup, Jet?" The Alloy replied. "Ready to play Survivor?"
"I've been ready the moment I applied for it!" He grinned. "Can't wait to get started."
"So what brings you to this tribe?"
"Well, to be honest, I am not completely sure." Jet, a green, anthropomorphic hawk admitted. "But I think it's because that I'm a competitor. And what I mean is that I like to bring the competition, you know? Do whatever it takes to win something. I'll always do whatever it takes to win. That's how it was when I'm racing, and that's how it will be done here."
At the camp, gave off an intimidating look at the camera.
"You're a racer?"
"Still am." He confirmed. "Just that I had to announce that I will be here for a while, that's all. People want me to perform well out here, so I'm gonna give them of what they ask. Nothing more. If you ain't willing to give it your all to win out here, then that means you aren't pushing yourself enough."
"Hard work and determination?"
"Exactly."
"And how old are you?"
"Just turned eighteen a while ago."
"Oh my..."
"Doing a lot for my age, haha!"
"Then you could be a good inspiration for the younger generation." The production member said. "So, since you seem to be very ambitious, what exactly is your plan out here?"
"Now, I'll be honest, I don't really have an overall plan out here. I don't have any specific strategy that I could try to pull off right out of the gate. ...But you know what, it's alright. I'll just react to anything that comes to my way and do everything I could to get to the end and win. Easier said than done, most likely. But from my fellow competitors out here, I expect no less."
He was dashing along at the first immunity challenge.
Ryu
"I am a martial artist, and my number one goal is to always be the strongest I can. I remember training just as if it was yesterday, and I've been growing since then. So you could very well say that I'm not afraid to push myself to the very limit."
"Well, I don't blame you for that." The Blue Alloy laughed a bit. "I mean, you're on the brawn tribe. Being as strong as possible gets the job done. You want to be the best you can at what you're doing."
Ryu smirked. "Well put."
The camera moved from his feet to his face only to show Ryu with folded arms with a stare so cold that if looks could kill, one would have been killed on the spot.
"I think when it comes to me being on this tribe, I've seen both brain, brawn, beauty seasons. Unsurprisingly, there are certain castaways that… aren't the brightest bulbs of the bunch." He laughed. "So, what I wanna do, is to basically show the world that you can be strong and be smart at the same time. Sort of a way to fix our reputation a little bit so people can see us in a different light."
"That sounds neat." She admitted with a nod. "I like that."
"Yeah, and for me personally, I've got to be able to make moves, while at the same time balancing it out by being subtle about it. I mean, I'm not asking to purposefully put myself on the radar because then I'm target number one, and I get eighteenth place and… it would be a hard pill to swallow to say the least. So I guess I need to think to myself constantly about everything I'm doing out there."
For a final scene, Ryu was shown holding his fist back before thrusting it forward almost connecting with the camera.
Tifa
"Aren't you friends with Cloud?"
"I sure am." She nodded. "Once Cloud participated last season, I decided to try this out next. But yeah, we've been friends ever since we were children, and next thing we both knew, we both became members of AVALANCHE. Did he ever tell you about that?"
"I think I found out about that at some point."
"Well, you know? I actually had to kinda convince him to join the group. I was sure AVALANCHE was right up his alley. And what did it for me was simply that I wanted to help out my planet and fight back against those who seek to destroy it."
"Wow... Okay, I think that's enough to put you on the Brawn tribe." The Alloy blinked.
The woman appeared to be working on the roof of the shelter.
"So, what are you like?"
"Well,... some point out that I may come across as a bit shy at times. I mean, I'm not afraid of talking to people. But I think it's just that some people just don't know what I'm thinking about at times, yet I can understand how others are feeling."
"Oh, is that so?" She sounded a bit surprised. "Kind of unique especially knowing the tribe you're on."
"Yes, that's similar to what everyone says. I mean, I know how to fight and all, but my personality explains a different side of me perhaps. Not everybody has to be one hundred percent aggressive in every aspect."
She nodded thinking that she made a good point. "True. And you know what, that could actually give you an advantage."
"I think it could be a double edged sword to say the least. It's either going to work out for me or it's not."
Tifa realized that she actually climbed a bit too high on the roof.
"Uh-oh... Is it too high for me to jump down...?"
Specter Knight
"Hello, Specter Knight."
"Greetings."
"Now, the first thing I want to ask you is the sort of obvious question, of course. But, what brings you onto this tribe, let alone on Survivor?" It was as obvious as ever, yet Specter had no problems answering that. Though this time, something else came to mind. "I am actually quite curious, since clearly you are not the most physical guy out here."
"That I am aware of. General curiosity is fine." He replied. "Though I do find judging my position on this tribe by purely judging a book by its cover to be rather foolish. Nevertheless, I suppose it is my... character perhaps."
"Oh, care to explain?"
Out on the island, he seemed to be in the forest at the time, using each of his two hands to drag palm fronds back to the shelter.
Though when speaking with the interviewer, he actually sighed, staring at the ground a bit. "Some say that I am simply... 'cold-blooded' to say the least. I wield a scythe as a weapon keeping watch over the Lich Yard back at home, which is known to most people for being one of the most... 'disturbing' places ones have ever seen... Though since it is my home, I have grown used to it over the years."
"Oh my..." She blinked. "Now I'm already starting to think to why you're on the Brawn tribe."
"Though I apparently can be a bit cut-throat in character, at the same time, somehow, some have grown to think rather highly of me as a rather 'fearless' warrior. I suppose that kind of reputation might just be the reason to why Master Hand chose to have me on this team."
"I suppose that does make sense." The Alloy said. "So, what is going to be your strategy out here?"
"My strategy would grow as the days go on, even if I make it far enough." He seemed to be unsure of how long he was going to even last at the time. "That being said, for now I'll try to be quiet..."
Beauty Tribe (Quetzal)
"The beauty tribe's name is 'Quetzal', referring to one of the most colorful birds of Mexico, and in Survivor, it refers to being a colorful character. Being a colorful character could be a variety of personality traits. Besides looks of course, these six players are known for their charming personality, being easy to get along with, and having large social circles. Since this is of course a social game, social connections are literally everything in Survivor. The more social connections you have with others, the better off you will be in the long run."
Rosalina
"Didn't expect to be a location such as this, but I'm sure I'll have a good time out here nonetheless."
"Hello, Rosalina. So I guess the first question is kind of obvious. What brings you here to the Beauty tribe?"
"Oh, why am I here? Hmm. Well people say that I'm the most kind and charming person they've ever met. I mean, I understand on where they're coming from, but I'm simply being myself." Rosalina laughed. "I know playing a game such as this was something nobody ever expected, but here I am anyway."
"How do you think you'll do?"
"Well, as long as I'm having fun then it doesn't even matter if I get voted off first. But since I have no plans on being the first eliminated in the game, it means that I have to do something in order to make it far and win. And I suppose that depends on the people I'm surrounded with and what happens, which can mean pretty much anything in Survivor. But I'm willing to adapt, which is pretty much the main thing you have to do on day one."
She appeared to be in the middle of a conversation with Panther and Bandanna Dee.
"What brought you out here on Survivor?"
"Well,..." She appeared as if she had a confession to make. "I was a secret Survivor fan. No one knew that I was into it until I told them I was about to apply."
"That earned quite the reaction from back at home, did it?" asked the Alloy.
"Really." The Mario character nodded. "They ended up letting me go, but some of them admitted that they were quite worried about me. But, I chose to apply for the show, so I told them that there was no need to worry about me. I'll play this game however I can until I find myself facing the jury in the final three."
She made a big wave at the camera from afar.
Daisy
"Oh, you seem to be very enthusiastic about this, Daisy!"
"You bet!" She nodded intensely. "I've been applying since I was allowed to since Kodai Island, and I've been waiting and waiting, and now I finally get to be on the show!"
She seemed to have the time of her life as she was chatting with others at her camp quite a bit.
"Well, we're glad you're here!" The interviewer laughed.
"I'm so excited!"
"So, are you surprised you find yourself on the beauty tribe?"
"..." She thought to herself for a moment. "Okay, maybe a little, but not a lot. I was thinking that I was either going to be on this tribe or brawn, but if it's beauty, than it is what it is. Maybe they think that I'm going to make friends rather easily."
"Do you expect to?"
"I hope! Making friends are key in this game. And I want to show them that I can do everything! I can help with the challenges, camp, and just have a good time right here in Mexico! Sure, we're not really near a beach since we're in the Mayan ruins and everything, but no matter the location, I'm ready to play! ...Hopefully I don't ruin into a cactus or something!"
"What's your strategy for the game?"
"My strategy for the beginning of the game is to do whatever it takes to keep the team happy! Because if you're with a grouchy team, then there's going to be no teamwork, and I don't want that. I want to keep all my friends together, because say when we swap, working together is everything. But if we can't work together, then something has to be done. I can't work with people who don't want to work with me."
"...Ew…" She immediately jumped away when she found a large spider roaming around in the forest. "...Does anyone have a rock?"
Bandanna Dee
"Well, congrats Bandanna Dee! You're the first castaway from Dream Land since Dedede from Kodai Island! Do you two know each other?"
"We do." He nodded happily. "We've known each other for a while. Though I basically accidentally found out that Dedede was going to be on the season after I overheard him talking about it to one of my friends. And so, I've decided to try it out myself."
He was standing with his tribemates watching Master Hand discuss the current season of Survivor.
"Oh, well no matter how you got out here, you're out here, so now you get to have your time." The Alloy told him.
"Thank you!" He beamed. "I expected to be on an island of some sort, but I suppose a new location only makes my adventure to be more thrilling. This Aztec Empire looks rather interesting. Can not wait to begin learning about it."
"So do you have any specific strategy out here?"
"Well... Can't say that I have any sort of plan strategically." The second Kirby character in the series admitted. "Though what I mainly plan on doing is simply being myself. And yes, I am aware it is rather difficult to do out here in a game such as this, but I choose to play the game while staying true to myself at the same time. And if I win, that's a good thing. Otherwise, it was worth a try out here and I am proud of myself nonetheless."
"Aw... That's good, Dee." The Alloy spoke as if she really felt those words.
"However, I do have to admit... with the others around, it could be quite... nerve-wracking a bit..." It was the truth that Bandanna Dee was rather hesitant to admit.
"How come?"
"I... I just have no idea of what the rest of my tribemates will be like... in regards to... everything basically. But nonetheless, I will try my best to get along with each and every single one of them, and hope that we bond together rather well."
Yet at the time, he seemed to be enjoying a conversation with Rosalina and Chica.
Panther
"Alright, let's get this goin'..."
"Hello, Panther. Ready to play?"
"Ready as I'll ever be." He grinned. "Didn't expect to be going to a new location, since last time I checked, Japan was the last location before this happened."
The Alloy began to chortle at that. "I swear, I think every last member of your tribe has mentioned about the location so far."
"Well, I kinda think this is neat in a way, even though I never cared for history at all. And by looks alone, this goes back to more ancient times... But enough about that." He shook his head wanting to stay on topic. "You're probably gonna ask me why I was put onto this tribe, aren't you?"
"Dang, you are really beating me to it. But go ahead..."
"Alright." He smirked. "For me personally, I think that I was put onto here mostly because of my charm and how I interact with others around me."
"Such as..."
"..." The panther glanced away for a moment. "Well,... part of my personality is me... flirting with others. Not necessarily in order to get my way, it's just how I am... And my team knows it."
"Your team?"
"You've met Wolf, haven't you? He was on Kodai Island last year. He seems to have no problems flirting as well, but I'm probably way more up front about it than he is. ...I just find it to be a bit of fun!" His laugh proved that he never really had much shame about it.
"Do you think you'll get by doing that? There are three females on your tribe."
He seemed to be laughing along, hanging his arm around Daisy with Bandanna Dee watching close by.
"That I am well aware of. And if they have no problems with it, they have no problems with it. And that would mean that I wouldn't have a problem with it either, of course... Unless I find them talking behind my back about it..."
He was now seen sharpening the machete.
King Knight
"Greetings! I'm suppose you're here to interview me?"
"Yep, that's pretty much my job!" The Alloy replied. "Let's get to the basics, first. What do you do, and why are you on this tribe?"
"Why I'm on the Beauty tribe?" The third Shovel Knight character repeated. "Hmm... I suppose it's probably due to my charisma. Maybe I'm both charming and attractive."
"Charming and attractive? Well, I guess if you really feel that if you're attractive, maybe you can remove that mask of yours."
"...You might have a point... See for yourself..."
Actually doing what was suggested, it only took a couple seconds for the interviewer to reply. "Oh... okay, you might be onto something."
King Knight was currently adjusting his helmet the moment when Panther let him all alone by the water well.
"So what brought me out here was... I was driven by my own curiosity perhaps." King Knight admitted. "Something new for a change. To tell you the truth, I have no idea what to expect from this experience, so I suppose I'll learn as I go."
"Do you think you're gonna bond well with your tribemates?"
"Hmm... I am not afraid with bonding anyone. Though I suppose if everyone is on the same page, maybe we would actually get along. Perhaps it is what is necessary, especially since I have no intentions on being the first eliminated. Then again, I think we me being on the right tribe, maybe that does increase my chances, since I do not know in the slightest if I can go along with anyone from the Brain tribe, and especially the Brawn tribe."
Although she laughed in response, her own curiosity got the better of her. "Why not?"
"Okay, maybe I'd give the Brain tribe a pass if I have no choice but to work with any of them. But the Brawn tribe on the other hand,.. I do not know... I am aware that looks might not be everything, but..." He ended things off with a sigh.
Chica
"Shocked to be here?"
"Well, maybe a little." Chica Candance, an anthropomorphic chicken replied with honesty. "But at the same time, I guess I could understand where people are coming from."
"And what do you mean by that?"
"...Oh, you wanna know?" She widened her eyes a bit. "Ugh... Sorry. It's rather difficult to just open up all of a sudden."
"Oh, no." The Alloy immediately shook her head. "If you really don't wanna talk about it, clearly I can not force you."
"No, there's no point in me hiding it, since this is most likely gonna come up at some point in the game, anyway." She decided to went on anyway. "Long story short,... I've been basically body shamed."
Now that was a shocker to the interviewer. "...You've been what?"
"Yeah, it's true. Guess my motivation to keep pushing myself and keep going and my optimism put me here." The chicken assumed. "The beauty within as they say."
She attempted at getting closer at a bird nearby, yet it decided to flew away before she even approached it. "...Aww... Maybe I'll have better luck next time..."
"...Okay, I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am." She was more sympathetic than ever. "I mean, looking at you from head to toe, you're not even big at all. You're literally just medium-sized. Was it really that serious to some people?"
"Unfortunately for some, yes." Chica replied. "If you are not a size two, then you're a target. So I can't say that I wasn't hurt, but I feel like I'm moving past that. It is one of the reasons on why I came out here, so that I can prove it to others and maybe rub it in peoples' faces a little to show them what I'm made of."
"Well, if you're going to prove people wrong, that's the spirit that you need, Chica! I'll be rooting for you!"
She laughed as a thanks for her support. "Thanks. ...Well, I've been wanting to come out here, anyway. I'm already a bit of a fan."
And for a final shot, she was seen laughing with Daisy, seemingly having a good time.
"So, not only that we've got a new location, but we're once again trying out this theme, even going as far as expanding the reasons why certain people are here. It's not just about physical appearances nor backgrounds when it comes to any of these characters, but rather for their personalities altogether which really highlights their character. And with all these personalities out here competing on this season, they're in for a wild ride."
Alllright so that's it for the cast for right now. There are going to be three chapters for this, will the next two updates coming on May the 4th and May the 9th, the actual story beginning on May the 20th.
So yeah, for those of you who are still confused, Survivor is a reality TV show series that has been going on for 20 years since 2000 (yes it's still going on today) where a group of strangers are stranded in some sort of location in the wilderness where they have to work together to create a new society, as well as competing in challenges to stay in the game. Losers will pay the price by going into "Tribal Council" (will be explained much later I promise) and will vote each other out as a sacrifice for the tribe to move forward. Eventually there will be only three remaining as they represent the finalists where a group of people must vote for one of them to earn the title of Sole Survivor as well as a million dollars.
For season three, eighteen strangers who have never met before will be going to the Aztec Empire in Mexico, with Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty representing the theme for the season. It has already been played out twice back in Cagayan and Kaoh Rong. I was a big fan of this, so I decided to do it for one of my seasons.
So now with the first chapter out of the way, though the main story hasn't begun yet, the third era for my series has officially started! (I will post the theme for the season soon, but for those of you who are new, you are free to watch the theme for my previous two seasons on YouTube. KoopalingFanSurvivor is the name for the channel btw.) And also, you do not have to read both or either of the first two stories to read this upcoming one. But if you're interested, you can start by which ever story you want. The main story won't be out for another month almost so there's still some time left if you want to have an understanding of how this show runs. (And just so you know, yes, I have seen all thirty-nine, soon to be forty seasons after discovering the series by accident back in 2017.) Good thing, too. More experience means more ideas.
Questions: (Feel free to answer these in your reviews)
1. Who is giving off a great first impression?
2. Which tribe would you be rooting for right out of the gate?
3. Anyone you're surprised to see this season? (Either on any sort of tribe or simply in the game at all)
For now, I have put a poll on my profile of who might be your winner pick. It would be up for a while until the fourth chapter of the main story is released, but it's basically a poll of who you want/who you think is going to win this season.
Next update for the pre-season however will be released on May the 4th so stay tuned!
