I reached a quiet place with no cameras around and immediately activated the teleport, going directly to my ship that was near the location of the Knossos system. I wanted to teleport directly to Therum but I would have no ship to bring Liara to the Normandy.

After reaching my ship, I started going into the direction of Liara, giving me plenty of time to think about the future. I just had sex with Shepard and Sha'ira, the asari now is going to have my baby! How much time an asari take to give birth? Nine months just like humans, or years? We have just received a transmission from Admiral Hackett. There was some kind of problem on Luna, some VI gone rogue. He asked us to go there and resolve the situation.

We decide that since we are close to it, to go there first.

I am now resting on my new room, thinking about this eventful day. I just became the first human Spectre, resolved a lot of trouble on the Citadel and … had sex with the asari consort and John…

He's 10 years younger than me! I am not a saint and I had a few dates over the years, but nothing crazy like that. I hope he doesn't think we are in a relationship or something like that.

But when I think about that, he's handsome, has a nice body and not to mention his technique…. The only problem is his age...

I woke up thanks to my alarm going off, indicating that I had arrived at my destination. It's time to meet Liara.

I got up from the bed, put my light armor and checked my guns. All things look good, I am ready to go.

I started to search for a place to land. I need a place that is close to go on foot, but I also need to hide the ship. Thank God that I asked that Turian to make my ship heat resistant, it's paying off on this volcanic planet.

I activated the map and noticed at least 50 red dots inside and outside of the Ruins and only one blue dot, Liara. I managed to find a place hidden enough and landed the Death to Death.

Time to go save my future ally and possibly my future wife.

'This planet is really hot ' I thought while getting out of the ship and starting to make way to the entrance of the Prothean Ruin. I activated the map again and noticed 20 red dots all around the perimeter of the entrance. I'm in a hurry, so let's do this quickly.

There is 6 geth ahead of me, 6 to my left side and 8 to my right. They didn't find me yet, so this gave me the element of surprise.

But I didn't need it. I run towards the biggest geth, I think it's called Geth Armature, but I'm not sure. I really need to remember those names.

I jumped over it and landed on his back. I don't know how to hack the geth like Tali but I know how to aim. The geth armature, still confused about the situation, started to load up his gun. I use this opportunity and grabbed his head, aiming toward the 6 on the left.

The shot goes off and managed to kill 3 of the geth, but the rest is still alive and I was on their radar now.

One thing that I like and dislike about the geth is the friendly fire. They don't care if another geth is on the line of fire, they only want to kill their target. Because of that I didn't even needed to shot a single bullet and the Geth armature is down already. I am fine thanks to my barrier.

My barrier is so powerful that sometimes I feel pity for the people who shot me. And all the times I remember about the firepower of the Reapers, I feel really lucky for having it. It's a complicated feeling. Sometimes, against weak enemies, I think about turning it off, but I have never done it before and hardly will do in the future, because arrogance can kill someone.

After taking a lot of shots from the geth, I started firing back with my modified Tsunami X. I still use my older weapons, but I already bought news ones and I will test them and do some modifications after this mission.

I fired 10 shots, managing to kill the rest from the left. I am taking cover behind the carcass from the Geth Armature, and now the rest of them are approaching me from all sides.

I killed 7 of them before and now there is 13 left. They are scattered now and I need to take care of the closest ones.

Through the map, I could see 5 of them coming dangerous close from the right. I grabbed a grenade and throw right at their feet, the grenade exploded at the impact, killing all five.

Now, there is 8 left. All of them coming from the left, I could simply throw another grenade and kill them all, but that would be boring.

So i looked at the map to see their location. After finding out, I got out from behind the carcass and did a Biotic Charge into the direction of the geth.

They were really close to one another, so all of them got send to the ground. I changed my Tsunami to my Katana. I managed to shot and kill all of them before they could get up from the ground, one shot each.

After finishing all of the Geth at the entrance, I still need to kill the ones inside. I began to make my way to the door that led to inside the Ruins.

I entered through the door and started to follow the only path here, leading me into the direction of Liara. At the end of this path, there is 2 geth to the right.

I changed my weapon from a shotgun to a pistol, Brawler. I began to run into their direction and they noticed me right as I started. They tried to shoot me but to no avail, my biotic shield stopped all the bullets from reaching me.

I reached their position in an instant and fired at them, killing both of the geth. After killing them, I noticed a pathway on the right that led me downstairs. After going downstairs, I opened the map and noticed more 2 geth at the end of the way.

Before I go to their position, I waited a moment for them to get more close to each other. When they did, I throw a Singularity at them. It was a success, now they are on the air and I only need one shot for each.

After dealing with the 2 geth, I reached the end of the path and noticed at the distance the same force field that is maintaining Liara trapped, and the elevator to get me to her location is right in front of me.

I entered it and seriously waited for some music, but I was left disappointed. There was no music.

After going down even further than before, the elevator finally reached the end. I got out and noticed another elevator ahead of me, and 3 Geth drone through the map. They are hidden under the platform that leads to the elevator.

I started to follow the path to the elevator and right at the end of it, the 3 Geth drone attacked me. Of course, none of theirs shot hit me and I used my pistol to kill them. This is too easy.

After taking care of those drones, I got inside the elevator and pressed the bottom. After descending for a while, the elevator started to malfunction and sparks started to fly everywhere, and the elevator stopped completely after a while.

When it stopped, I looked down to see the nearest point for me to jump, and thanks to my luck, it was close. I jumped down on a platform and then another, finally reaching Liara.

She noticed someone near her and started to talk, '' Uh… hello? Could somebody help me? Please?''

I stopped right in front of the force field and stared at her. She's beautiful.

She started to talk now that she have noticed my presence, '' Can you hear me out there? I am trapped. I need help! ''

'' I hear you. Are you okay? What happened to you?'' I said while looking at the asari.

She started to talk, ''This thing I am in is a Prothean security device. I cannot move, so I need you to get me out of it, all right?''

'' I will help you, but first you need to answer some of my questions, do you understand?'' she nodded, '' How did you ended up trapped in there?''

She answered, '' I was exploring the ruins when the geth showed up, so I hid in here. Can you believe that? Geth! Beyond the Veil!''

'' I have fought them a few days before coming here.'' I told her and she looked surprised.

'' What happened in the time that I was trapped in here?'' she asked.

'' Too much. Now, please continue your history.'' I sit on the ground and waited.

Now she appears a little ashamed and prideful at the same time,'' I needed protection, so I activated the tower's defenses. I knew the barrier curtains would keep them out. But … when I turned it on, I must have hit something I wasn't supposed to. I was trapped in here.''

'' So that's the problem.'' I smiled and started my introduction, '' My name is John, 19 years old, member of the SSV Normandy and single. Now that this is out of the way, will you kiss me if I release you?'' I asked again.

There are 3 distant dots at the end of this 'room', I believe they are some kind of snipers. I will focus on them first.

I take the ramp that leads me down there, but the Geth noticed me halfway through it and started shooting.

Now that they have noticed me already, I just run towards the Snipers. I really didn't like that one of them destroyed my shield cell on Eden Prime.

I managed to reach all three instantly and fired 3 bullets, I bet they didn't even notice that they are already dead. After dealing with the three snipers I focused my attention on the rest.

They are small fry so I just focused hard and started to make a huge Singularity, to grab all of them at the same time. I throw it in the center of the room and all 12 of them got grabbed by it.

In a moment of craziness I did something irresponsible. I wanted to test what would happen if I did a biotic combo with my Biotic Charge and the Singularity. The result was … unexpected.

The result was an explosion that destroyed my shield cell and my biotic barrier got damaged. I was sent flying to the ground and the impact created a crater.

I slowly got up from the ground. That was insane.

My biotic barrier started to grow back, but my shield cell is gone. That was some really destructive power, if I use more combinations, that don't involve me getting some collateral damage, I might be even more powerful.

Deciding to think about this later, i started to make my way towards the Mining Machine.

After reaching some kind of control of this machine, i see that it had 4 buttons and I need to press it on the right order.

From what I remember from the game… first it was the one below, then left, then right and the last is above.

Right after pressing the last one, the laser went off blasting a hole through the floor and opening a path towards a console.

After reaching the console I pressed it, and the place that I was in started to go up. When it stopped, I was on the same floor of Liara and I could see her already, with no barrier around the perimeter.

I started to approach Liara from behind and she noticed me,'' How… how did you get in here? I didn't think there was any way past the barrier!''

I smiled, '' Too tell you the truth it was difficult, but when I remembered that my prize was a kiss from you, I gained extra motivation.''

She was about to respond when I interrupted her, ''Before you say anything, we need to find a way to get you out of here before more of those geth arrive.''

She, blushing from what I said earlier, nodded, '' Yes, you're right. I've seen enough of them to last a lifetime. That button should shut down my containment field.'' She said while looking toward a console to her left.

I pressed it and suddenly heard a sound behind me, '' Ooff!'' it was Liara falling on the ground after the containment field was turned off.

I rushed to her side and offered my hand. She grabbed it and I helped her get up from the ground, '' Thank you.'' she said.

'' It was a pleasure. Do you know how to get out of this place?'' I asked my future wife

She nodded, '' There is an elevator back in the center of the tower. At least, I think it's an elevator. It should take us out of here. Come on!''

After we walked into the platform that got me here, Liara started to talk with an outraged voice, '' I - I still cannot believe all this. Why would the geth come after me? Do you think Benezia's involved?''

'' In the time that you were stuck trapped here, a lot has happened in the universe. The Spectre Sauren, alongside your mother, attacked a human colony, Eden Prime. They are after the Conduit, some kind of Prothean Artifact, and you're a Prothean expert. We thought that he would want to capture you and use you to find it.'' I told her all the truth. It broke my heart seeing her face heartbroken from her mother 'betrayal'.

After hearing all that, she is looking confused, '' The Conduit? But I don't know—''

She was interrupted be some kind of tremor. I asked her after it stopped, '' Do you know what was that?''

She is looking around anxiously, '' These ruins aren't stable. That mining lase must have triggered a seismic event. We have to hurry, the whole place is caving in!''

I nodded, '' I have a ship that is not far from here, on the surface. We can escape with it.''

She nodded and pressed a button on the 'elevator' console. Then the platform that we are on started to go up.

After going up for some time it stopped at the first floor, where the exit is. The only problem is that there are enemies on the way.

There are 15 of them, one of which is a Krogan. And it started to speak, '' Surrender. Or don't. That would be more fun.''

I smirked, '' In case you didn't notice, this place is about to collapse… what if we resolve this outside?''

The Krogan laughed, '' If we go outside, there would be no fun. By the way, thanks for getting rid of those energy fields for us. Hand the doctor over.''

Liara answered for me, '' Whatever it is you want, you're not getting it from me.''

All the geth are near each other. All of them, except the Krogan got sucked in. I simply throw a grenade into the mix, while the krogan bullets stopped at my barrier. I have to say, the result was beautiful and destructive. I really should train more those combination

After it was over, I looked at the shocked Krogan, '' Don't even bother trying to destroy my Biotic barrier with just bullets.''

His face looked like he's angry, but I think that's the normal face for a krogan. I was testing a lot of things on this mission, so I will test one thing on this Krogan.

I passed my gun to Liara, who grabbed it and pointed at the Krogan, while I started to get close to him, who was reloading his shotgun, '' Hey.'' He looked at me, '' I always wanted to fight a Krogan on a hand to hand combat. Come!'' I said while getting in position to fight.

For my surprise, he discarded his shotgun and started to run towards me. I said to Liara, who was ready to shot him, '' Don't intervene! I will deal with him.''

Right after I said that, he was in front of me. I will test the Krogan's strength now, fixing my foot on the ground and preparing for the impact. The result… I was sent flying. If it weren't for my barrier, I would be injured.

That was no joke, they are really strong. I quickly got up from the ground because I knew he was coming after me, and I was right. He tried to run over me again, but I managed to dodge after rolling to the right.

I managed to recover my fight instance and he stopped trying to end this quickly. He must have noted that it was not going to work. Now he facing me, in a fight position or something like that.

I managed to reach the exit just in time, as the whole Prothean Ruin crumbled behind me.

Even after fighting with a Krogan hand to hand and running full speed for quite the distance, I was not tired. Thank you, Unlimited Stamina.

Now that we are out of danger, I asked Liara, '' Are you okay?''

She is a little out of breath and looking at the crumbled Prothean Ruin with pity, '' I'm fine, just thinking about what else I could find inside this Ruin and now I can't…. Let's just leave this place.''

I patted her shoulder, '' I believe you will find way more Prothean Ruins to study in the future. I can see you are a good researcher, you just need more confidence.'' Then I started to make way to my ship, Liara following right behind.

Right before we walked some distance from the Ruins, a 'volcano' appears to have erupted. For our lucky, we are already near my ship.

After entering the ship and getting out of this hot planet, I said while pointing around, '' There is the bathroom, there Is the bed, kitchen and the Cockpit. Do you need some food or anything else?''

'' I'm kind of hungry. Do you have anything to eat and drink?'' she asked me while in the kitchen.

I nodded and pretended to search for food, but I was taking rations from my inventory, '' Here.'' I said while passing it to her.

'' Thank you.'' She started to eat as soon as I give her. She finished really fast.

'' Do you need more?'' I asked while handing over another ration.

But she refused, '' No, thank you…. Do you really have only one bed?''

I nodded. She must be thinking that I will sleep together with her. I'm a asshole but not that much, '' Don't worry, you may sleep there while I sleep on the chair.'' I said while pointing at the chair in the Cockpit.

With more determination than before, I started to go towards the Exodus Cluster.

'' Sure. What do you want to talk about?'' I asked her.

'' About the ki-kiss from before, I don't have a lot of experience in dealing with your species, so I thought that you're talking serious… I'm sorry!'' she said.

'' Don't mention it, it was nothing.'' It was no big deal, saving her from those guys is just the least I could do.

This cycle has repeated itself many times over.

I didn't want to interrupt her good mood yet, so I continued to ask, '' If the Protheans weren't the first, then who was?''

She shook her head, '' I don't know. There is barely any evidence on the Protheans. Even less on those who came before them. I cannot prove my theory. But I know I am right! The galaxy is built on a cycle of extinction. Each time a great civilization rises up, it is suddenly and violently cast down. Only ruins survive.''

She continued,'' The Protheans rose up from a single world until their empire spanned the entire galaxy. Yet even they climbed to the top on the remains of those who came before then. Their greatest achievements - the mass relays and the Citadel - are based on the technology of those who came before then…. And then, like all the other forgotten civilizations throughout galactic history, the Protheans disappeared. I have dedicated my life to figuring out why.''

She took a deep breath and stooped talking. I looked at her and asked, '' Are you done?''

She's blushing a little, '' I'm sorry about talking too much… but when it came to this subject, I get a little too excited.''

I smiled, '' Well, I can help you a little with your research.''

'' What do you mean?'' she asked.

'' Didn't you hear what I told you a little while ago? I received some message from the Prothean Beacon. Through the message, I reached the conclusion that they were wiped out by a race of sentient machines. The Reapers.'' I told her.

She started a little confused, but finished excited, '' The—The Reapers? But I have never heard of - What exactly did you see on that message?'

'' Don't you asari know how to look into the mind of the person they meld?'' she nodded, '' then, you can meld with me, to see the vision for yourself.'' I was smiling the whole time as I said this.

She starred at me with a new light, '' I am amazed you were able to make sense of it at all. A lesser mind would have been utterly destroyed by the process. You, and that other human, must be remarkably strong willed… about reading your memories, i—I will do it.''

She's determined. I nodded , '' Nice. But please, only read the message and nothing else... the last asari that meld with me ended up pregnant.''

She looked shocked and wanting to continue this subject, but her curiosity to see the vision got the best of her. She extended her hand. I looked at it for a moment before reaching it.

Then, just like Shi'ara, but with minus intensity, we shared a little bit of our thoughts. It seem that this time everything is alright.

After a few minutes, she ended up the meld, '' Tha-that was incredible! I only touched a little bit of your mind but it was already loaded with so much information… who are you!?''

That's the second asari that asks me the exact same thing, '' I am a human, just a human.'' Part human and part… more. This is still weird for me.

'' Did the vision make any sense for you?'' I asked her and waited.

She appears exhausted, '' Do you mind if i sleep a little more? This meld took more of me then I thought it would. I will probably be better after an hour or so.''

'' Go ahead and sleep. We will reach the Normandy soon.'' I told her while going to the Cockpit. She laid down on bed and was asleep in seconds.

In the cockpit, I checked the time left to reach Exodus Cluster and it was 1 hour and 10 minutes.

I didn't need to sleep, but it would be boring to stay awake, with no one to talk and not being able to train…

So I tried to sleep. I adjusted myself on the chair and closed my eyes. To my surprise, sleep came real fast and in seconds I was out. Good thing that I put an alarm to wake me up when reaching close to the Normandy.
