On a side note, i was going to make this chapter a lot longer, but then TLOU2 spoilers managed to make me lose my mood. I wonder, how could the people at the top of ND let the history turn out that way..?

Well, enough about my rant. Enjoy the chapter.

Now we are reunited in the middle of the room, Shepard's talking with Simon, the guy that was in charge of the Asteroid X57, '' You guys did it. Another hour and our course would have been irreversible.'' he took a deep breath,'' I ran the numbers, Shepard. X57 would have struck near the capital city. The most densely populated area. It would have killed my family and many others.''

Then he looked at everyone on the crew, who were close to Shepard, '' But that didn't happened because of you and your crew. Thank you. '' Simon began to look around the room, searching for something or someone,'' Is Katie in here? Is she all right? Is her team?''

Shepard nodded, '' I think so. There were hostages in one of the offices nearby. Balak had a few bombs all over the place, but didn't realized that we were disarming all of them. Bastard must have thought that he had the upper hand, we showed him that he was wrong.''

Wrex is looking at me, '' What? '' I asked.

'' You said the first shot was going to be mine.'' I think Wrex is a little mad.

'' Come on, Wrex. Don't do this to me, I had the clean shot and Shepard said I could do it. Besides, you shot the bastard, but not first… look, how about this? When we go back to the Normandy, we are going to drink and laugh about this and the next time I will let you steal one of my kills. What do you think?''

Wrex grumbled a bit but nodded, '' Fine, but you better know how to drink, kid. I will not let you off easily.''

I grinned, '' No problem, old man. I know how to drink, you better start to worry about yourself.''

We returned our attention to Shepard and Simon, who entered a new subject, '' You asked me to look into your missing engineers.''

Simon asked hopefully, '' Have you find them?''

Shepard answered, '' Yes, all of them. I found their bodies near the location that you sent me. I am sorry.''

Simon looked like he just received a punch, '' Oh. I – I see. I guess it's better than not knowing.'' Then he changed the subject, '' Shepard, I will never be able to thank you enough for what you have done, but I'd like to offer something … as a lead engineer I get some quality items, maybe you'll have more use for it then I will.''

Then he showed some things to Shepard, who started to inspect them. She ended up choosing his omni tool, '' I know it's a lot to ask, but that omni tool of yours? I could really use something like that.''

Simon smiled, '' Shepard, I think I mentioned that you saved my kids, grandkids and all the rest of my family. What's an omni-tool compared to that? Take it, with my blessing.''

Shepard accepted the omni-tool and said her goodbyes to Simon, '' Take care of yourself.''

Simon nodded, '' Be well, Shepard. We will forever be in debt with you.''

Then we started to go where Kate is. We opened the door to a room and Kate was inside with some of her friends. She immediately started to talk, '' Thank you. When we were put inside that office with the bomb inside, we thought we were going to die. Then, when your crew showed up and disarmed the bomb, gave us hope again. Thank you.''

'' Don't worry about it, we are just doing our job. You should be proud of yourself, you're the real hero here.'' Shepard said to a surprised Kate.

'' Why would you say so?'' she asked.

'' If it weren't for some of the information you gave us, we would be at a loss as to what to do and maybe the Batarians would have been successful with their plans." Shepard patted her shoulder.

Kate shook her head, '' I am no hero. I let a lot of people die here… including my Brother.''

'' Your brother was the one Balak killed?'' Shepard asked.

Kate nodded, '' Yes, Aaron. He was always so stubborn. But always willing to do the right thing, no matter what. He was the one who convinced me to join the team here. Said it would be an adventure.''

Then she thanked Shepard again, this time crying, '' Thank you, Shepard. I know my brother didn't make out of this alive, but his memories will live through me. I will never forget what you did for me and for Terra Nova.''

'' You've been through enough today. I'll get out of your way.'' Shepard said and we started to leave the place.

Before we leave the facility, I need something from Simon. I hope he does have it. '' Shepard, I will stay here a minute longer. Go ahead without me.''

Shepard looked at me for a moment before nodding. Then she called Joker, '' Joker, you can come and get us. Do you have our location?''

Joker voice come through the cooms, '' Yes, Commander. I'll be arriving in 2 minutes, be ready.''

Shepard then turned her attention to me again, '' You have 2 minutes.'' Then she and the rest of the crew left the facility.

I started to run towards the location of the chief engineer. I found him still on the same place. He noticed my presence and asked, '' You are with Commander Shepard.'' I nodded, '' What can I do for you?''

'' I have some things to ask. How did the asteroid get all the way over here? Why wasn't someone alerted sooner?'' I asked the man.

'' The asteroid was scheduled to arrive in a day or two, Balak just speed it up. This rock is full of valuable minerals, but it was too far from Terra Nova to be profitable. So we attached some fusion rockets to it and drove it back. It was all going smoothly until the Batarian attack.'' He answered all of it.

" I'm sorry you went through this, but I need your help with something.'' I said to the man.

'' Sure, I will do everything in my power to help the people who saved my family. What do you need?'' he asked with a fire in his eyes, ready to pay his debt a little.

I scratched my head, feeling a little embarrassed, '' Do you have some kind of beer and food? I am planning on throwing a party for the crew. ''

He looked stunned for a bit but managed to recompose himself, '' Of course we have. You can grab anything that you want from the pantry.'' He pointed to a room nearby.

'' Thank you.'' I thanked the man and started to run towards the room. I entered it and grabbed a lot of the stuff inside, put some on the inventory and some i grabbed with my hands and ran outside. I reached where the crew was, right when the Normandy showed up.

The whole crew is looking at me with their eyebrow raised, '' What?'' I asked.

Kaidan was the one who asked,'' John … why do have so much beer and food on your hands?''

I looked at him like he was the strange one, '' What do you mean? How can we party if we don't have food and drinks?''

They tilted their heads. Garrus asked in behalf of the crew, '' Why would we throw a party?''

I looked at them, feeling a little stunned, '' Seriously? We just saved a whole planet from the apocalypse, a lot of new people entered the crew and you guys will not celebrate?"

The crew all turned their eyes to Shepard, who was holding her head. She managed to say with difficult, '' Okay, John. You can have your little party, all of us deserve it. Just make sure to stay sober and alert, we never know when the enemy might strike.''

I smiled at her, '' Thank you, Shepard. Now, who's excited about this?''

Some of them smiled and other simply shook their heads in disbelief.

After that, we entered the Mako and Joker grabbed us. We stayed on this rock for 3 hours.

I asked Shepard as soon as we entered the Normandy, '' Where can we party?''

She looked at me and at the crew, '' If we're really doing it, let's do it right. My room or the coom room?''

Garrus, Ash and Kaidan opted for the coom room.

Tali, Wrex, Liara and I opted for Shepard room.

Shepard nodded, '' Ok. All of you, go take a shower and meet up in my room after 30 minutes.''

We all started to make way to the showers. I followed the girls with my eyes until they entered the female shower. I let out a sigh, '' Why the baths can't be unisex?"'

Kaidan looked a little curious, '' That would be… inappropriate?"'

We started to get undressed, '' Well, I don't know how you feel, but I would love to bathe with all the girls.'' I told them.

'' You humans are difficult to comprehend.'' Garrus said while smiling.

'' I wouldn't mind, but only if there is a female krogan. I don't have any interest in other species.'' Wrex said.

'' Wow! Really? Not even an Asari?"' I asked him as I turned up my individual shower.

'' Well, I had some encounters in my life, but I prefer Krogan, they are more … aggressive. It suits my taste.'' Wrex told me.

'' Who would have thought.'' Then i focused on Garrus.'' What about you, Garrus? You prefer your species or you don't mind interspecies relationships?''

The turian seems too been thinking for a moment and answered, '' I don't really mind dating other species, the only problem would be the fact that Interspecies relationships can't have babies. That's a downside.''

'' The Asari can.'' Kaidan said.

'' Well , they are really unique. Only they can fit the criteria, the rest can't.'' Garrus said and then asked, '' What about you, Kaidan?''

'' I prefer same species. Nothing against people who like interspecies, but my taste differs from some people.'' Kaidan answered truthfully.

Then Wrex asked me, '' What about you, Kid?''

I looked at everyone in the shower and answered, '' My dream is to have a interspecies harem, with almost every humanoid species.''

They looked at me like I was an idiot, '' What? You guys never dreamed of something like this?''

Kaidan managed to recovers first than the other two,'' I always forget thanks to your strength, but you are only 19.''

Wrex and Garrus are surprised about my age but didn't say anything. '' Age has nothing to do with this. I always liked the different, so being in a relationship with another species was never a problem to me. The only problem would be the multiples females and how to manage the relationship …'' I said.

Then I looked at Wrex, '' Old man, in all your years out in the universe, did you find anyone that had an interspecies harem?'' I asked full of hope.

Wrex looked at me and started to laugh, '' Ha-ha-ha, Kid. You're hilarious.'' He continued to laugh for some time, before he was able to answer, '' Yes, I had found some of those 'harem' that you are talking about. Some ended good and some bad.''

'' So I still have a chance. Thanks, old man. You gave me strength to follow this path.'' I said to Wrex while checking the time. We've been showering for 10 minutes now.

Wrex said, '' But can you keep it up with the interspecies sex? Some of the races can be … difficult in this regard.'' He then started to examine my body with his eyes.

I tried to block the vision to my groin, but it was difficult, '' Hey! Don't stare, man. It's not nice.''

Wrex laughed, '' Well, for what I could see, you can manage well. He-he-he.''

I sighed, '' Really? Are you going to do this? Okay then.'' Then I looked at Garrus, '' Garrus, how does turian male does the deed? I mean, I can't find your …. tool.'' I really didn't see anything down there.

Garrus glared at Wrex, who is laughing way more hard now, and answered,'' We are almost like the humans, but our .. tool is internal until we are ready to use.''

Surprisingly, Kaidan asked before me, '' So you can just hide it and show it?''

Garrus nodded.

''Just like a cloaca…'' who would have thought. It is really interesting. Then i asked Garrus, '' What about the female?''

'' The same as the male.'' Garrus appears to be a bit embarrassed about this.

'' Neat.'' Then I looked at Wrex, who's still laughing, '' What about the Krogan?''

Wrex managed to say between the laugh, '' We are the same as humans.''

I nodded. Then I asked something to him, '' Do you know any female krogan who's interested in a interspecies relationship ?''

He stopped laughing and looked at me, '' Why? You can't mean that you want….'' He started to laugh again, this time harder than before.

Kaidan and Garrus are trying to hold their laughs. '' What? I just said that I don't care about this…''

Wrex managed to stop laugh and answered, '' I know some. But all the female are focus on trying to be pregnant. The genophage destroyed their hopes…'' he appears to be enraged and sad.

I told him, '' Hey, old man. If I ever had the opportunity to help you solve the genophage, you deserve to know that I will do everything possible to help you.''

Wrex nodded, '' Thanks, Kid. I mean it.'' Then he said, '' I will pass some of my contacts, a few female krogan that with the right price, might want to go out with you.''

I raised my eyebrow to him, '' Did you seriously just tried to pass me to a paid encounter.'' He nodded,'' Good, don't forget to give me the number.''

Wrex started to laugh again, '' I really like you, Kid. You have the heart in the right place, you only need to fix your taste in women.''

We all finished the bath at same time and were getting dressed. '' Ahh, Wrex. I almost forgot. Thanks for that thing with Tali.''

Wrex said, '' Don't mention it, kid. If I knew at that time that you love other species, I would have done better.''

'' Thank you. Now, let's get out of here and choose a better outfit. See you guys later.'' I said my goodbye to the boys and started to go to my room.

That was really fun and interesting. I just shared a shower with the most notorious team in the galaxy. Something to be proud? I don't know, but it was cool.

After arriving in my room, I choose something random and got dressed. Then I remember something and started head towards the Med Bay.

After entering the Med Bay, I found Dr. Chakwas alone. She noticed my presence and asked, '' Oh, it's you John. What can I do for you? Are you alright?''

I smiled at the Doctor, '' I'm fine, healthy as a lion. I came here to invite you to a party.''

She raised an eyebrow, '' What party?''

'' The one in which we celebrate the success of the mission to save Terra Nova and to welcome the news members. Me, Liara, Wrex , Tali and Garrus.'' I said to the Doctor.

'' Here, on the Normandy?'' I nodded. She looked conflicted, so I tried to persuade her, '' Look, we have just gone through a shit day. We all deserve a way to celebrate the good things, including you. I guarantee that nobody will be ill.''

She finally nodded, '' Okay. Where it will be?''

'' Shepard's room, in 15 minutes. Go prepare yourself.'' I said while leaving the room. There is one more person to invite.

I arrived at the cockpit, Joker was so focused that he didn't notice me.. '' So,'' he got a scare,'' are you free tonight?''

'' What do you mean?'' he said while narrowing his eyes, '' Sorry, but I prefer women.''

'' It's nothing like that. We're having a party in 15 minutes. I thought it would be nice if you could come.'' I said to our pilot.

'' On the Normandy?'' I nodded. Then he looked at his own body and smirked, '' I believe you already know about my body's situation.

I shook my head, '' You know that it is just an excuse. Put the Normandy on auto pilot or something like that and come to Shepard's room in 15 minutes. We will be waiting.''

I left Joker behind and got back to my room. I looked at my watch and noticed that I still have more 10 minutes. Time to make some calls.

I called someone and it got picked up fast, '' Hello, who is it?''

'' Dr. Mordin, it's me, John. We've talked early today.'' I told the Salarian doctor.

'' Oh, yes yes. I remember you, yes.'' The salarian doctor is a really talkative person.

'' Yeah, it's me. Did you manage to do what I asked?'' I asked the Doctor.

'' I'm afraid to say it's going to take a lot more than one day, John. I don't have much information about that thing you sent me. I need more time and information.'' He said. I understand, we started talking less than a day ago, if he can already start something, he is a genius

What I sent to him, is what I remember about the Collectors in Mass 2. He will have plenty of time to create a countermeasure against them, even though he doesn't know he's doing it.

''I'll see what I can do, Doctor. Talk with you later.'' I ended up the call and immediately called an old friend.

He answered pretty fast, '' We have talked more in one day than I talked with my best client in one year. What can I do for you now, Earth Clan?''

I took a deep breath, '' I need everything you know about the Collectors.''

There was only silence on the other end of the conversation. After some time he answered, '' Look, I don't know why are you asking me this, but do you know what you're asking me?''

'' I know, Barla. I am only asking this because it is important. In return, I will give you information that will probably save your life.'' I said to the Volus.

I know that by doing this, I will be putting a huge target on my back. But I need those information, what I have from the Collectors is not enough for Mordin.

'' What do you have for me?'' he asked. And if he asked, he must be interested.

'' Give me the information first.'' I negotiated with him.

The volus stayed quiet for a moment,'' Okay, but the information is better be good. I am putting my neck on the line for you.''

I smiled as I watched a huge amount of information being transferred to my omni-tool, '' You will not regret this.'' I paused and then said to the volus, '' It's better for you and some of your friends to take a … vacation from the Citadel. At least for a month.''

The volus sounded confused, '' What do you mean by that?''

'' You are intelligent, Barla. You will figure it out. Nice working with you, until next time.'' I ended up the call. I think I heard the volus saying ' wait!' but it must have been my imagination.

I need the information about the Collectors, because I am going to be prepared before they attack the colonies. I already asked Mordin to create the device that make us 'immune' to their paralysis and i will present it to Shepard later on. They will lose one of their advantages in the beginning, but they will continue strong.

I don't even know what Mordin is doing right now, but thanks to Barla, I obtained his contact earlier and talked with him about the device. He accepted helping me after I told him what the device will do. It is weird that he's helping me, but I will not complain about it.

I have done so much in just one day. Cidatel, a Thresher Maw, an Asteroid and many other small things. I need this party to relax a little, in fact, I think that all the crew need this.

I checked the time and it there is one minute left. I started to make my way to Shepard's room. In the meantime, I checked my figure in a mirror close by, and I must say that I look good.

I arrived at Shepard's room and there is alredy some people inside. Ash and Liara are already here, talking with Shepard. There is a lot of food scattered across the room with some beers here and there.

I approach the trio, '' Hey girls. You were surely looking good.''

Shepard and Ash are using almost the same thing and they are looking good, and Liara is beautiful in any outfit.

'' Thank you, John. You do not look bad yourself.'' Ash said and both of them girl nodded.

Then we started talk about small things, waiting the rest to show up. They did after five minutes.

All of them are dressed nicely, nothing that stand out much for the military. As soon as everyone entered the room, Shepard started to talk, '' Now that everyone is present, I would like that we officially introduce ourselves to everyone here. John, can you please start?''

'' Sure thing.'' I take a sip from my beer and started my introduction, '' My name is John, i was a guy in vacation until a few days ago, now I'm a member of the SSV Normandy. I have 19 years, single and my dream is … a secret.'' I winked at the crew.

The men smirked while the female looked confused. Then I looked at Liara, '' Your turn.''

We all focused our attention on the Asari, who is blushing a little, '' Ah, o-okay. My name is Liara T'soni, I am a Prothean Specialist. I spent my entire life going after evidence about what truly happened to the Protheans. I have … 106 years and I'm single.'' She didn't say her dream, but that's okay. She looked at Ash, '' Your turn.''

As Ash was introducing herself, I pulled Shepard to the corner, '' Shepard, now is the best time to talk with Liara. About your memories.''

She looked at the asari and nodded, ''Okay, let's do it now while they are distracted.''

I nodded and called Liara over. She came toward us as soon as she see us calling her, '' What do you need, Commander?''

Shepard looked at me and then at Liara, '' I want you to meld with me to see if my memories and John's memory are the same.''

Liara appeared surprise but nodded, '' Okay, I will do it. Prepare yourself.'' they are about to begin when I interrupted. '' Can I join?''

Liara is looking confused and Shepard is glaring holes at me, '' I can try it but .. I have never done a meld with two people at the same time.''

Shepard is still glaring at me. I smiled, '' There's no problem. There is always a first time.'' I offered Liara my hand.

She looked at it for a moment and grabbed it. Then she asked, '' Are you guys ready?'' both of us nodded.

Then Liara closed her eyes and said, ' Embrace eternity.'…. or not. But I really wanted her to say it.

The meld process was almost the same as Shi'ara but less… physical. I still can't believe that an experienced consort like her would have done something like that… I must be really irresistible.

I think it took 5 minutes and when it ended, Liara is looking at me and Shepard while blushing, '' Both your memories about the vision from Beacon are the same. It means that your theory about the Protheans being exterminated by those beings called Reapers are most likely true.'' Then she said something surprising, '' And both of you think that they are coming back.''

I nodded. But how can she know that? I told her about it? Then I realized, '' You saw more than just the message, right?''

She nodded, '' I am sorry. It wasn't my intention to see you guys having s-''

Shepard interrupted her, '' I don't know what you're talking about, Dr. T'soni. Right, John?''

I winked at them, '' Yes. It never happened and will not happen again.'' I said while getting out of there, ready to grab another drink.

Shepard must be fuming so I will get out of her way for a while.

The party is going well, everyone finished their introduction and now are talking to each other. Kaidan and Garrus are talking with Joker, Wrex and Tali are on their own world and Dr. Chakwas is talking with Ash.

I went towards them,'' Hello there, Doc. I see that you are doing well at our party.''. She's holding a beer and laughing with Ash. I have never seen her doing something like this in the game. It is nice to know better the characters you admired on the game.

She smiled at me, '' I must admit, John. I would never though that Shepard would allow a party on the Normandy, but this is a nice change of pace for us. Thank you for the idea and for inviting me. ''

I shook my head, '' You don't need to thank me. Only between us here, but I think this is a one kind of deal, so we better enjoy the party.'' Then I looked at Ash, '' How are you feeling?''

She smiled, but her is smile is somewhat sad, '' These past few days and hours have been stressful to me. Almost got killed by the Geth on Eden Prime, all those favors I did with Shepard on the Citadel and, for last but not the least, a fucking asteroid and batarians.'' She took a mouthful of beer, '' I really desperately needed something like this.''

I patted her shoulder, '' it is good that you are letting the stress out. I will go talk with the others now, but if you girls need anything, just call my name.''

'' Shouldn't we be talking about this to you?'' Ash asked.

I tilted my head, '' What do you mean?''

Surprisingly, Dr. Chakwas was the one who answered, '' She must be talking about how calm you are, even after going through all of this, and you just joined us. It's weird.''

I blinked. I never thought about this. I lived my old live feeling almost nothing and the majority of the time on the military. So, this is all normal to me. Minus the Reapers and all the aliens.

I nodded to both of them, '' I think that's because my father is from the military, must be one of the reasons. And the other one is that I already relieved my stress earlier.'' I smirked.

Ash asked, '' What do you mean by that?'' while Dr. Chakwas only said, '' Oh.'' while smiling.

must have noticed something but didn't say it. She's the best. '' You will figure it out. Now, i really need to go talk with the others. See you around.'' I waved at the still confused Ash and the know-all Dr. Chakwas.

Shepard's room is not that big, so I stumbled across Kaidan and Garrus talking. I got into their conversation, '' So, what you guys are talking about?''

They looked at each other, '' About the rest of the crew.'' Kaidan said.

'' And about modifications on guns and in other things, like the Mako.'' Garrus completed.

Garrus is a kind of specialist on those modifications, I remember it from Mass effect 2.

I am more interested on Kaidan subject, '' What about yours opinions on the crew?''

Kaidan started, '' Shepard is a natural born leader, everyone here have some kind of respect for her. We don't know much about the others, so this is based on what we saw earlier. Wrex is a nice guy, even behind that face of his and when it comes to combat, he's almost invincible. Tali, surprisingly, is a really good addition to the team, principaly against the AI, she saved our ass on that mission on Luna.'' Then he looked at Garrus, '' Our turian really know what he is good at and know what he is doing, especially when it came to modifications, this guy is a monster.''

Garrus used this to continue the talk, '' Look who is talking, Kaidan here is a goddamn good soldier, saved us in a situation on the Asteroid X57 that would get us killed. Ash is the same, a really good soldier but she has a little hate of aliens, perhaps she need to change that. And Liara, our Prothean Specialist, we didn't see much of her in combat but she's good so far, and on the intel part she may be our best chance to understand that vision on Eden Prime.''

He stopped speaking. I noted that they didn't talk about me, so I asked, '' What about me?''

'' You are our Joker.'' Kaidan said. Joker, who is now talking with Wrex, said, '' You guys are talking with me?"'

'' No no, we are talking about something else.'' Kaidan said and Joker returned to the conversation with Wrex.

'' As we are saying, you are our Jok- our trump card. You are an incognito. We already have seeing what you can do and you are dangerous for your enemies. You can change the outcome of the battle if you fight seriously, Eden Prime as an example.'' Garrus praised me. What an honor.

'' Stop it guys, you are making me blush.'' I jokingly said, '' But yours observation on everyone is accurate.''

They nodded, '' We know. Hey, John, do you know anything that we don't?''

I raised an eyebrow, '' Why are you asking?"

Kaidan said, '' You and Shepard are acting .. weird for some time now. I have been working with Shepard for a long time and it's the first time I have seen she act like this. That vision, it showed something that horrible?''

I nodded, '' We received only traces and parts of it, but what we could gather was Death and destruction on an entire civilization. It is not nice, even I am feeling a little taken aback until now.''

'' That is all?'' Garrus asked. He must have some suspicion about this. And Shepard did talk about the Reapers coming back.

I looked straight at him, '' Shepard already told everyone what she and I believe. Nobody believed us at the time. I think she will talk about it when the party is over.''

Garrus and Kaidan appeared satisfied with the answer and start to talk about modifications. I bid farewell to them, '' Guys, I will leave you for the time being. I need to talk with Wrex and Tali about something.''

They nodded and got back on their conversation. Who would have thought, Garrus and Kaidan as best buddies.

Next, I started going towards Wrex, Tali and Joker.

'' Hey guys. Are you liking the party?'' I asked the trio.

Wrex was the first one to answer, '' Ha, this is nothing like the way we party on Tuchanka, but it is a nice change of pace for a while. Thanks for the idea, kid.''

I simply raised my beer and he did the same. Next, Joker said, '' I must admit, I was skeptical at first but this is nice. I still can't believe that Shepard allowed this.''

'' Well, now she's a Spectre, she can do anything she wants. A little party like this is nothing.'' I said to our pilot. It's nice to see him having a little of fun.

'' Oho, I never thought about this. Do you think she will allow if I ask for some new things for the Normandy?'' Joker's eyes are sparkling, he must really want those things.

I shrugged, '' I don't know. But you can ask her, she's right there, talking with Dr. Chakwas.'' I pointed at the location of the Commander.

'' Thanks for the info, John. Bye Tali and Wrex, talk with you guys later.'' The pilot started going towards Shepard. I believe she will buy anything Joker wants, Spectre's funds is almost unlimited.

Now that he is gone, I turned my attention to Tali. Wrex is already smirking, bastard really knows me, '' So… Tali. When do you think you can do what we combined?''

She stuttered a bit, '' I need to prepare for it, John. If I enter in contact with anything outside the suit, I will have an allergic reaction at the best and death at the worst.''

I nodded and then asked something that bothered me in the game, '' How is to live inside the suit? Do you have any difficult?''

Tali sighed, '' it's hard. The suit is capable of maintain us alive on the outside of the Flotilla, we can only take out the suit there or in some place decontaminated. The suit is really good in protecting us but we lost a lot of freedom.''

'' Maybe one day the quarians won't need the suit.'' I told her. This day is near, I will do everything that I can to help.

The galaxy has so many troubles. The genophage, asari arrogance, quarians without a planet and the most horrifying of all, the Reapers. I will do what I can to help them overcome their needs, but I can't change everything alone.

'' I really hope so.'' The quarian said. '' I will take a lot of meds today, and tomorrow I will show you.''

''Look, I want to see it, but if it is going to make you go through this, you don't need to do it.'' I really want to see what a Quarian face is like, but I don't want Tali to suffer for it.

'' Thank you for that, but I will do it. You helped me on the Asteroid, this is nothing compared to that.'' Tali said.

Then I noted Wrex grinning and started to have a bad feeling. To prove me right, Wrex started to say, '' You want to see mor-''

I didn't let the krogan finish as I give him a head butt. He dropped his drink, the sound attracting everyone attention.

My head is hurting like hell, but it was worth it. He was about to talk something he shouldn't.

'' You made me lose my drink, kid. You better be prepared.'' He said while cracking his hands.

I smirked, '' I am always ready, old man.'' I heard the people around us making bets on who is going to win.

Right after I finished talking, Wrex came running full speed at my direction. The room is a small space and the crew formed a circle to give us space. I am at disadvantage on this scenario.

I already did fight a Krogan head on, but that was in an open space. Here, on a limited space, I am severely weakened.

It is nice to finally be in the losing side, I can train better this way.

I already know the result of being rammed by a Krogan, so I rolled to the side and put my leg so Wrex would trip on it. The result was Wrex falling on the ground, right in front of Kaidan.

'' That was easy, old man. Don't you have anything else?'' I smirked. The real fight start now.

Wrex got up from the ground and said, '' That was a very old trick, but it was effective. Kid, I'm liking you more and more.''

I raised my eyebrow, '' Old man, it was the only thing I could do. Are you okay? Are you tired? Just give up then.''

He didn't say anything, this time he didn't come running but began to study me. Thanks to that, I could hear the conversation of the crew.

'' I bet 100 credits on Wrex.'' I think that was Kaidan. Damn traitor.

'' Then I bet 500 on John.'' I heard Ash saying. Nice one, Ash.

'' Okay, let's organize this. Who wants to bet on Wrex, raise yours hands.'' Joker is the dealer now. Tali, Kaidan and Garrus raised their hands.

'' Okay. So the rest is betting on John.'' The ones that are betting on me were Shepard, Liara and Ash.

Dr. Chakwas choose not to participate. I am getting more and more surprised that Shepard is letting this happens, but who am I to judge?

Wrex finally did his move, so I had to return my attention to him. He seems to have thought of a plan and started to get closer. After reaching a dangerous distance, I attack him with a punch. He blocked it and tried to punch me, but I dodged it.

The fight stayed like that for a minute or so, when I decide to try something. After he blocked my punch, I knew he was going to give me a left punch, so I used my leg to parry the punch. He was caught by surprise, giving me time to do something.

We never set any rules for this 'fight' so I used a little bit of my biotcs on his legs, making them a little weak. I used this opportunity and grabbed both of his legs and throw him on the ground.

When he hit the ground, it made an awful noise. I didn't even let him have time to think, as I was already ready to hit him again.

But I stopped, I already won the fight. So I dismounted him and offered my hand to the Krogan. '' And that's make 1x0 to me.''

He accepted my help and snarled, '' Not for long, Kid. I already knew that you know how to fight, but that was surprising.''

I patted his shoulder, '' I had fought a Krogan before and I must say that you're a more difficult opponent. I almost lost back there, I had to think hard to beat you.''

He must have liked the praise, '' Ha, you know how to make this Krogan fell happy. And for now on, I will not tell anyone about your preferences.'' He winked at me.

'' If you had just stayed quiet, none of this would've happened.'' i smiled at the Krogan.

I looked around the room and see that some people are happier than others. Shepard, Ash and Liara are smiling, while Kaidan, Garrus and Tali are grumbling a bit.

'' You know that I couldn't lose that opportunity, kid. But I have learned my lesson this time.'' He said that and goes away to take another drink for him.

Shepard, Ash and Liara approached me with a drink. They offered to me and I accepted, '' Thank you.''

'' No, thank you. You've just made me win more than 1000 credits. You are really amazing.'' Ash is smiling so much that is creep.

'' I've seen you fight that other Krogan. Wrex is stronger than him?'' Liara was the one who asked.

I nodded, '' Yes. With the other Krogan, I used him as a training dummy. Wrex managed to make me feel threatened for the first time in a long while.''

Ever since I arrived at my universe, I haven't met anyone who could really kill me. Wrex and Sauren are the only ones that made me rack my brain to find a way to win. And with Sauren, we didn't even finish the fight, so I don't know the full potential of his powers.

Liara nodded, '' Yeah, it really seem so. But, to think that you are so powerful that you could beat Wrex, a Krogan that is known by his strength, is shocking.''

Shepard, who was silent until now, nodded,'' We have really hit a jackpot with you, John. How can someone like you stay hidden from the Alliance for your entire life?''

I shrugged, '' Even my family don't know that I am this powerful. I didn't want anyone to know my strength, so I keep it hidden until I couldn't anymore.'' I took a sip from my drink, '' Then Eden Prime happened. At that time, I still haven't decided want I wanted to do with my life, so that vacation was really a surprise for me, in all aspects.''

'' Your parents must be strong too, right?'' Ash asked.

I started to think about them. Father, as a retired military is strong even for the parameters of this world. Mother … I don't know about her past, but just for the armor and the gift that she have sent to me on Eden Prime, I assume that she must have a few connections that regular people shouldn't have.

'' My father is a retired officer from the Alliance and I don't know much about my mom past, but she must have been important.'' I told them what i remember.

Shepard patted my shoulder, '' They must be very proud of you, making to the Normandy and working alongside a Spectre.''

I think Shepard is feeling pride..? I don't know, but for the smug look on her face, it seems so.

I scratched my hair, '' About that, I still haven't told them about it.''

The trio said at the same time, '' What!?''

After receiving a lecture from Shepard, and promising to talk with my parents, we returned to the party. Wrex is fine and is also receiving a lecture from Tali, who's mad that he lost to me.

Everyone is talking with everyone, the entire crew now know each other better. I decided to put some music, to see the iconic dance movements of Shepard.

Right after putting some music and starting dancing, the entire crew joined after some time. It was nice until all of us noticed Shepard's dance. We all starred at her.

We continue to dance but I could see Wrex, Garrus and Ash are holding back their laughs. Everyone is holding back their laughs, only waiting for someone to start.

I decided to take the bullet for the team, '' Shepard… what is this dance?''

Shepard, still dancing, asked me while confused, '' What do you mean? This is the only way to dance.''

As i already started, everyone joined as well. Ash managed to say even when she's struggling not to laugh, '' Commander, your moves are really impressive. I have never seen anyone dancing like you.''

All of us nodded. Sheppard finally realized that everyone is looking at her strangely, '' Why are all of you looking at me like that?''

Wrex said while dancing and laughing, '' Your dance, Shepard. I've never seen anything like that in my entire life.''

Everyone nodded, even Chakwas and Joker, the only two people who are not dancing.

'' What are you guys talking about? Look, this how you dance.'' Shepard started doing something even funnier than before.

Nobody could hold back anymore and started to laugh, all this while dancing. '' Commander, I must say that your dance is ridiculous.'' Kaidan managed to say.

Shepard didn't care about anyone opinion and continued to dance, '' It is you guys that don't know how to appreciate a good dance.''

We continued to joke about Shepard's dance and laughing for about 30 minutes. I look at the clock and 3 hours have already passed, time to do something.

While the music is still going on, I grab Shepard and take her to a corner with nobody around. I heard booings from the crew but ignored it.

I put her I a corner and was about to say something when I noticed her eyes are unfocused and she's blushing. She's not drunk, so what could it be…?

She suddenly started to say, '' Look, John. That thing with the Asari consort was a mistake, we shouldn't do it again. Even if we did, right now everyone of the crew is here watching us, so we can't.''

I was dumbfounded. Shepard is imagining something like this! It means that she's thinking about that. After managing to recover from the initial shock, I smirked. I started to incline my head towards her, almost like I was going to kiss her.

She is surprised but didn't stop me. Ours noses are already touching and just as i was about to kiss her, I changed the trajectory and whispered on her ear, '' Commander, we could repeat that anytime you want.'' Then I smiled while distancing myself from her, '' But now we need to talk with the crew.''

She looked pissed and is glaring holes at me, '' What do you want to tell them?''

'' We need to tell them the truth. That the Reapers are coming back.'' I told her. We owe them that much and it's nice to gather their trust in the beginning.

Shepard asked in a dubious tone, '' Do you think they'll believe me?''

I nodded, '' They will. The Council and Udina are politician, they don't trust anyone. Anderson believed us, even if it was just a little. The crew is different and you'd have my testimony and Liara's.''

She nodded and started to go toward the center of the room. To help her get everyone attention, I turned off the music. Everyone started to look around to see who did it and noticed Shepard. '' Everyone, I need your attention. It's something important.''

Everyone attention was on her. '' It's about the vision of the Prothean Beacon. It showed a lot of things to me and John.'' She looked at me,'' and those things make us believe in something that a lot of people think it's a lie.''

She looked around, looking into the eyes of everyone on the room, '' The Reapers, they are real. They brought the Protheans to extinction, leaving none behind. '' she looked at Liara, '' Liara, a Prothean specialist, showed me and John the result of her research of the Protheans history.''

Shepard looked at Liara, who took the conversation to herself, '' I studied a lot of ruins and reached the conclusion that the Protheans are not the first race that has been extinct, there is a lot more. And all of them are extinct in an interval of 50.000 years between them. I told you guys before that the possibility of this happening was high and now I believe that everything was true.''

Shepard nodded, '' So we believe that those 50.000 have already passed, or we are close to the mark. We can't be sure, but we better be prepared. On the audio that Tali gave us, Benezia talked about the Reapers and that they are returning, another evidence that can prove their existence.''

Then her tone changed to a more deep one, '' We need to be ready to stop their return or to fight against them. I informed the council of their return but they didn't believe me. I need your help to stop Sauren and the return of the Reapers. Can i count with all of your support?''

I looked around and noticed that everyone here appears to somehow, believe Shepard. I started, '' I have seen what you saw, I feel what you felt.'' I looked at everyone on the room, '' They are coming back. They brought the Prothean to extinction, who knows how much strength the Protheans had, and they still were wiped out of the universe. So, we need to be prepared, all of us.'' Then I looked at Shepard, '' I was just a guy in a vacation, now i am here, ready to stop an threat to the whole universe. You can count with me, Shepard.''

She nodded and waited the rest of the crew. Wrex was the one who answered first, '' We may not know each other for a long time, but I believe in you and John. I have already fought in a lot of wars across the universe, but this is the first time that the entire universe faces a real crisis. I will help you with the best that i can, Shepard.''

After that, everyone agreed to help. Ash said, '' Commander, we have watched you for the past day and you were different, more perturbed. Now we know the reason, and we will help you stop It from happening.''

'' You can count with me too, Shepard.'' Kaidan said and then everyone followed.

'' Me too. It is going to be an honor fight alongside you guys.'' Garrus was the one who said it.

'' You helped me before and now i will repay the favor. You can count with me, Shepard.'' Tali said.

Joker and Dr. Chakwas also promised to help. With this, all of the crew is now updated with what is about to happen in the galaxy.

After everyone confirmed that they are going to help, Shepard looked relieved, '' Thank you guys, I mean it. Now, let's continue this party.''

Then the party was resumed. Not a lot of things happened after that, the only surprise was the 'fight' between Wrex and me.

The first one to left were Joker and Dr. Chakwas, saying that they are needed on their respective positions. Kaidan and Garrus, who are now good friends, were the next. Then Ash, Tali, Wrex and Liara got out after that, leaving only me and Shepard on the room.

I was helping her clear the mess that the other left behind, '' They sure know how to leave trash behind.'' I grumbled a bit.

'' You know that you don't need to help me, right?'' Shepard said while checking the room, to see if we left anything behind.

'' I know. But wanted to help you… By the way, this place needs a pet. A fish or some hamster might be good.'' We managed to clean the whole place after some time passed.

'' Why do you say so?" Shepard asked while grabbing a drink that we separated before and sitting on her bed.

I also grabbed a drink and took a seat next to her, '' I might be good for you. And a pet is always a nice thing. Just imagine, right after a rough mission, you enter your room and there is a pretty little hamster or some cute little fish to 'heal' you.''

She appears to be thinking about it, '' You might be right. Next time we go to shore leave, i will try to buy one.'' Then she took a sip from her drink and looked at me, '' Hey, John. What do you think about me?''

This is .. an odd question, but i answered, '' I admire you, Commander. You are brave, courageous, honest, beautiful, smar- ''

Shepard interrupted me, '' Stop it. You can stop it now, i get it already.'' She's smiling a little.

'' You know, i could continue to praise you all night, if you want.'' I took a sip drink and smiled at her.

'' I know you could.'' Then her face appeared to be conflicted for some time before she let out a sigh. She got up from the bed, opened her closet and took out a towel. Then she headed to the bathroom.

She entered the bathroom and, right in front of me, started to undress. I must say, that sight was something i will never forget. So beautiful.

As i was there, seated on the bed in shock, she said something that made my brain stop working, '' You can come in, if you'd like.'' Then she started to take a shower right in front of.

I didn't think twice and started undress. I stopped right in the door to the bathroom, '' Are you sure?''

Shepard didn't say anything, she just stood there, looking at me. I took this as a yes and joined Shepard on the shower.

We just stood there for some time, facing each other and letting the water pass through us. Surprisingly, Shepard was the one who made the first move. She kissed me.

Then we stayed on the bath, kissing like there was no tomorrow. Then she broke the kiss and stared at me. I was mesmerized by her, immensely so. This time, i initiated the kiss and i don't plan to stop.

While we kissed, i caressed her body trying to engrave her perfect shape in my mind. She broke the kiss, again, and whispered to me in a voice that could melt bones, '' John..''

And that was when every last bit of hesitation left my body. After that… we did it on the shower, the sofa, the table and for the last on, we did on the bed.

Now we are lying in bed, Shepard's using my arm as a pillow and is looking a bit tired.

'' So… where does this put us?'' I asked Shepard, who's holding my arm on bed.

She looked at me, '' I honestly don't know, but at least more than just friends and less than a couple.''

I gave her a kiss and she didn't rejected it, '' I am okay with this.'' Then I gently took her head out of my arms and got up from the bed.

I grabbed my clothes from the bed and started to get dressed. Midway through it, i noticed Shepard's starring fixedly at me, '' Now, you can watch for long as you want.'' I winked at her.

She raised an eyebrow and also got up from the bed and started to get dressed. This time, i was watching her. She noticed and smirked, '' You know, you are really boosting my ego, looking at me like that.''

I gulped, '' Hey, how about round 5?'' I asked Shepard.

She stopped and looked at me like i was a monster, '' You don't get tired?'' I shook my head, '' Well, i do. Maybe we can do it again, after we properly get some sleep.'' She gave me a kiss.

'' Now, go to your room and get some rest.'' She is telling me to leave.

I did as she told and leave the room, '' See you later, Shepard.''

I reached my room in a dreamlike state. As soon as i reached my bed, i slept on the same moment. I hope things stay calm for a little while longer.

I have college exams on this and the other week, so maybe the next chapter will be delayed . I will see what I can do.
