7:15PM - Beverly Hills Alex's Parents House

Shaky bouquet of roses in his right hand, in his shaky left some coffee beans in a nicely wrapped container.

'Come on, you lasted this far. She likes you for who you are. DON'T blow this important date!'

He thinks strongly scolding himself. A deep breath, ebony eyes stare ahead at the front door. Getting closer and closer he feels the nerves truly sink in. As he fakes his calm knocking on the door. He quickly "fixes" his blond hair for any imperfections.

The front door slowly opens. He's ebony eyes widen at the sight of his girlfriend. Her tanned skin seems to glow lovely. Light brown eyes sparkle, her short bob-cut black hair looks soft enough to touch. She's wearing a dark blue and yellow star designed short sleeve shirt and a pair of simple jeans with yellow stars on the sides.

"Hey there Virgil, aren't you gonna hug me?" Alex playfully asks her arms raised cutely.

Her voice breaks Virgil out of his nervousness (somewhat). As he's about to hug Alex, she's pulled away quickly Virgil hugs still but the voice isn't his Alex.

"It's great to finally meet you Virgil."

In his suprise eyes widen freaked out, face badly blushes red letting go of this other beautiful woman. His suspensions are confirmed as Alex groans lightly smacking her forehead. "Mom, please, I didn't even invite Virgil in yet." Virgil smiles shyly at the 1) dark skinned, reddish brunette, hazel eyed woman.

"The name's Carmen, but please feel free to call me Mom." Carmen smiles brightly leading Virgil (finally) inside. Alex gives Virgil a small smile as he passes her with Carmen, she closes their house door.

Alex walks deeper into the house to find her mother had pulled Virgil to the living room couch with cold cuts, bread and her favorite wontons on the coffee table.

"I'm sorry Virgil, I wasn't aware you be my Mother's Day suprise." Carmen winks at Alex, as her daughter sits on the couch next to Virgil. He again blushes embarrassed.

"That's okay ma'am- I mean Mom. Alex did tell me a little bit about you. I do hope to gain your approve." Ending that sentence Virgil reaches out his right hand the bouquet of roses towards Carmen.

Her smile is so bright Alex thought she would start planning their wedding. She carefully takes them out his right hand. Softly sniffing them, as she opens her eyes they sparkle.

"Virgil, you genuinely care and cherish my little girl. Than we both have nothing to worry about." Virgil breathes a sigh of relief smiling back at Carmen. Alex blushes embarrassed but smiles kindly.

"You brought coffee beans? Want to help me make some for mom?" His Alex asks giggling to herself at Virgil's happy grin. Talking about coffee or the Mali-U Cafe Alex knows is Virgil's comfort zone.

Carmen gives Alex a smirk. She turns to Virgil. "So Virgil, you work and study at Malibu University? Anything eye catching, besides my little Alex of course." Carmen giggles to herself.

Ebony eyes lock with light brown both blushing. Virgil rubs the back of his head. "Actually mom, your daughter is the first girl to grab my undivided attention. As for work I'm the manager at the school coffee cafe."

He smirks proudly telling the two his confess to Alex. Said super spy smiles sweetly at Virgil. Jumping to tackle him in a hug.

Virgil in a quickness stands up catching her, tho nearly knocks into the coffee table. Catches his balance not to grab Alex or hit table top knocking all the sandwich stuff. Alex blinks than giggles "Virgil. . ." She started as he stands straighter clearing his throat.

"Right. No quick movements and (2) no opening doors for you."

The couple laugh heading into the kitchen, to start the coffee. Before Virgil is out of sight entering the kitchen, he freezes putting Alex down on her feet. Turns around to face Carmen as she gets their sandwiches ready.

"Hey. . . mom, I'm sorry your roses need a vase let me-" "Mom here's a vase, yeah the water is fine too." Answered Alex for Virgil. His ebony eyes turn to her light brown ones. They share a smile.

Carmen watches their banter in silence. 'They already compliment each other so adorably.' She happily thinks walking over the bouquet of roses gently in her hands, she grabs the vase of water places the flowers inside. As she turns her back to the couple throught the corner of her right eye witnesses them share a sweet kiss.

'Best Mother's Day gift yet. Thank you both.' Carmen thinks carefully placing the roses down on the living room coffee table. The happily couple are already in the kitchen at work.

'Where is that damn camera?! It has to be misplaced at a time like this!'

Carmen excuses herself to find it. Smiling up the stairs as she again hears the two laughing and having fun.
