"Hey wait! wait!" called Alyx in what would become her eventual prison, the man in the business suit was no where to be found... Alyx repeated herself and found no response from the void... "Let me go! you evil bastard!" Alyx called into the void... it dimmed and then glowed a bright aquamarine before turning into its natural state, a familiar voice called out "Mrs vance..." the man in the buisiness suit replied "Im afraid using expletives wont help your case... neither will asking for conversation..." he paused before looking upon Alyxs relieved face and inhaling audibly "You dont seem to be setting down in your new... home... or as a matter effect being able to digest the situation completely but, i will offer something to ease the pain..." he paused smirked and then shown her something... it would be a ship... a white ship... and a girl with Gordon Freeman "What is this?" Alyx asked intruiged and as if he knew her response the man told her almost immediately after "You wanted the combine off earth" was his only response before going back into the void, this time putting Alyx into cryogenic refridgeration
5 Years later, after the resurrection of Eli Vance and the dissappearence of Alyx
You see white, you are hearing nothing but your own breathing... a piece of shrapnel whacks your forehead mildly damaging the lens of your glasses, "Gordon!" called a man "Gordon!" you cant respond "Wake up Gordon!" you finally rise up and look at the man, he is Eli Vance, a captain and key member of the resistance, "Shes gone Gordon! shes gone!" he punched his air to his side and stared at something "Son of a bitch and his unforseen consequences! i knew it!" before realising it hes in your face, realising its unfair to get angry at you he backs up a bit before announcing "When i get my hands on him... im... im going to KILL him!" you were never used to this rage and emotional flurry in your colleague back at Black Mesa "I need to figure this out..." he said silently "Right now..." he took a deep breath and stared at dog who had just entered the room, dog looked at Eli in some emotion you cant deterr, dog opened his claw revealing the very piece of metal you've used to escape Black Mesa, defeat the Nihalinth and even fight a war with, it was destroyed by the energy field in the citadel but you see the very same marking on the crowbar "Cmon Gordon..." Eli finally said "We got work to do" he leant over and gave you the crowbar.
He nodded "We have lots of work to do..." he told him, just then Kleiner came through the door with Barney Calhoun at his side, "Gordon guess who we've found!" nodding his head towards Calhoun, ex Black Mesa security guard and a key resistance soldier "Hey Gordon" he raised his hand up then down to say hello "Hows Alyx?" Eli looked at Barney with tears in his eyes then Barney had a worried look in his eyes "Is she- d-" he didnt finish that sentence with a sombre look in his eyes, Eli shook his head "Barney... shes been abducted" it took some doing to form the words in his head but Barney put one hand in a fist over his mouth and looked over at you, he was shocked but relieved she isn't dead, he then glanced back over to Eli "Who took her?" he asked, Eli put his hand over his chest, he simulated straightening an imaginary tie before Barney nodded and looked over to Kleiner, he was absent, looking for Lamarr again... you took a moment to try steady yourself against a wall as dog helps you up with his claw before walking towards the helicopter you were about to board before... you looked at the corpse of the grub like combine creature was charred on the floor while the others looked at your torso shocked "Gordon..." Barney said while leaning back terrified... Eli and even Dog the mechanical robot pile of junk looked with their eye wide open then you finally saw your seared torso with your intestine poking out.
You see black, you are hearing everything but your own breathing... your eyes flutter open slowly while a resistance medic and a resistance mechanic look at your torso before noticing your awake "Ah! Mr freeman! i was hoping you would regain conciousness" the medic said "Mhm... you have sustained physical damage to your torso and physical damage to your armour" he looked over at your HEV suit with the torso guard split and the lambda logo chipped you rise up noticing your bleeding has stopped and the wound has been stitched up "We've just sent your suit up for repairs" said the engineer "Im Caron" informed the medic "The engineer is Pelis... your free to move about... that wound should heal nicely!" he scratched his head "Although i cant say the same for the suit..." he looked at the door "Speaking of which! make your way to Kleiner he should hook you up" Pelis pipes up "Good luck out there Freeman!"
You make your way to a table picking up a crowbar... the doors open and you go down the halls of the white forest base when suddenly dog jumps to you and rubs his steel head on you to show affection before stampeding off, you take a few moments to break open a few supply crates with your crowbar before you hear dog stampede back to you and runs back down the hall again to which you follow this time, he leads you up to a Black Mesa retinal scanner probably ripped off a wall... you still have level 3 security and look into the lens of the scanner when it starts beeping and the doors open...
