"Charles really! You've washed your hands twice in the last fifteen minutes!"Elsie laughs, following her fiance into the bathroom.
"I don't want to get ill you know."He washes his hands."In my age it's not very recommended!"
"You won't get ill. Youn haven't done anything or touched anything. The only thing you've been near is me."Elsie says."Just calm down."
"We should clean the restaurant while it's closed. And how are we going to run it if it will be closed for the next half a year?!"Charles sits down on the couch in his livingroom.
"We won't run it! Are you daft Charles, all the restaurants and shops will be closed in the next few days?"She shakes her head."I never though I'd marry such a stresser like you are right now. I might be having regrets soon."
He turns his head in her direction.
"Gladly we haven't organised almost anything since we are locked in this house."Elsie jokes in a very serious tone."It won't do any help if you stress like that, Charles."
"You're right. But this freacking virus is driving me crazy.."He tolds."Stay inside and don't do anything..."
"It's not quite like that. You're overreacting."Elsie tolds."Would you like to go to the restaurant then and clean it up? Would that be what you want to do?"
"Alright. Do we have any spare soap? Where did I put it when I cleaned the house yesterday?"He stands up and walks towards the utility room.
She let's out a heavy sigh and rolls her eyes as she makes her way after him.
...
They got to the closed restaurant.
"Where shall we start, Mr. Bossy Cleaner?"Elsie teases him.
"Don't you bossy me."He glares at her with a unapproving look."We can clean the floors first."
"You're going so precisely then? I though we'll just clean the tables and do some window washing."She rises her eye brows.
"Why else would I bring a mop with me darling?"Charles tolds."You can start from that corner and I'll start here, from the door."
"As you wish."Elsie shakes her head, chuckling quietly as she starts to mop the floor.
The room is filled with quiet humming from his fiance. The music track she has been playing on her violin for the last three days. The cleaning is going on well and the floor looks much cleaner than when they started.
"Away with the fairies, love?"Her voice startles him.
"You could say that, yes."He smiles.
"I wonder what happened to the stressing quarantine man you were before we got here?"Elsie wonders out loud.
"You happened."Charles answers."You and your calming present."
He moves closer to her, but stops there.
"I'm disappointed. I thought you'd give me a kiss."She teases.
"I am going to give you a kiss. After this."He says.
He pulls a small handsanitiser bottle from his pocket and gestures her to show him her hand.
"Dear god Charles! There is no need for this."She sighs.
"Just to make sure I can kiss you longer and more..."Before they even know it, their lips are touching in a deep kiss.
"Hmm..I quite liked that. Does this mean that you won't stress over the virus anymore?"Elsie asks.
"Propably not. I'll be my fussing self for the very rest of this quarantine."Charles nods.
"That was precisely what I thought."She laughs.
