"CARD SLASH! MATRIX EVOLUTION!"

A bright light enveloped Guardromon. "Guardromon shinka…. Andromon!"

"ALRIGHT! YOU FINALLY DIGIVOLVED!" cried Hirokazu.

"It's all thanks to you Hirokazu! Now let's finish that Mamemon!"

"Yeah!" said Hirokazu with renewed vigour. "Go get him, Andromon!"

"Gatling Missile!" cried the robot, launching to missiles from his chest.

"One-Two Rush!" yelled Mamemon, destroying the missiles. Before Mamemon could launch a new attack, Andromon hit him with his spiral sword. The metal ball rolled on the ground.

"Let's end this Andromon!" said Hirokazu, pulling out a card from his deck. "Card Slash: YukiAgumon: Itesuku Kaze (Snowagumon's Frozen Wind)!

Andromon let out a cold breath that froze the metal ball. "Spiral Sword" A bald of energy hit the frozen Mamemon, deleting his data. Instead of loading it, however, Andromon chose to let the data go.

"We did it, Andromon!" cheered Hirokazu grabbing his partner's hand.

"We did it, Hirokazu!" replied Andromon. They did a weird sort of tap dance in joy. Gekomon who had been watching from the shadows, slowly came out.

"Thank you, Hirokazu, Andromon. You have freed us from that horrible digimon!" thanked the amphibian digimon.

"No big deal. It's my job as a tamer," said Hirokazu.

"Indeed. I wish I could have a tamer like you for a partner," said Gekomon. This only made Hirokazu swell with pride. "Aww…. You're embarrassing me!" He scratched his head.

"Embarrassing me!" imitated Andromon, doing the same.

"Hey, stop copying me!" yelled the visor boy to his partner. "Geez… You managed to digivolve but you haven't changed a bit on the inside."

"Hirokazu! You did it, culu!" cried Culumon cheerfully as he ran towards Hirokazu. The boy lifted him up in his arms.

"Thanks Culumon! We couldn't have done it without your help! Thanks for coming with us!"

'No problem, culu!"

"No that we are free, we will begin restoration of our village. Of course, we will make sure to reward you all as well," said Gekomon.

The news of Mamemon's demise spread around immediately. The surviving Gekomon and Tamamon smiled, hope filling their eyes. Slowly, they began rebuilding their village. Hirokazu, Culumon and Andromon helped them, much to the latter's relief. When they managed to fix about 4-5 homes, they decided to throw a feast for the heroes. A lavish banquet was prepared by the Gekomon and Tamamon. The tamer and digimons ate happily. While enjoying the banquet, a strange digimon entered the village. The Gekomon and Tamamon immediately regarded it with guarded faces. Hirokazu and a de-digivolved Guardromon stood up as if ready to battle.

The digimon slowly showed itself. It was a wounded Floramon. "P-please help….." she said, just before collapsing.

Hirokazu rushed to the sunflower digimon. "What's wrong? Who did this to you?" he asked.

"They plan… destroy tamers…" she started. "P-please stop him….." And then she lost conscious.

"Can some of you bring some first aid? We need to help her!" The amphibians brought out whatever bandages and medicines they had. The wounded Floramon was covered in bandages. She was given some healing tonic. After a few sips, she opened her eyes and shot up.

"Floramon, what happened? What did you by 'they plan to destroy tamers'?"asked Hirokazu.

Floramon caught Hirokazu shirt and began weeping. "H-Hey!" said Hirokazu taken aback by her sudden action.

"Please don't cry culu," said the little white digimon. He tried patting her on her head.

"..turned into monster…" she said through sobs.

"You're not making any sense," stated Guardromon.

"Floramon, take a few deep breath and calm down," said Hirokazu.

The digimon did as she was told. Though her tears continued to flow, she seemed to be a little cleared headed. "Now tell us, what happened?" pressed Hirokazu.

"Hagurumon and I…. we were captured by Devimon and his henchmen," started Floramon. "He said told Clockmon to lure you tamers to his hideout so he could wipe out. I thought we were just going to hostages but we were wrong. We tried to escape from the cell we were kept in and managed to break out somehow. However, before we could escape the area, his servants came after us and pinned us down. After Devimon came and he….he….." The flower digimon burst into tears again.

Hirokazu and Guardromon exchanged worried glances. "H-he inserted something into Hagurumon causing him to be enveloped in a dark smoke. W-when it cleared Hagurumon was no longer there….."

"What!?" exclaimed tamer and partner in unison. Culumon let out a little gasp.

"….and in his place was a BlackMechanorimon. Devimon used touched his with his claws and my friend's eyes suddenly glazed. Mechanorimon broke free from the other henchmen and began attacking me….. I'm not sure how but I barely made it out of there and kept running until I came here…."finished the flower digimon. Her petals looked withered after the narration.

"I see. Don't worry, Floramon! We'll stop Devimon and save your friend!" said Hirokazu.

"C-Can you really do that? Will you really be able to save Hagurumon?" she asked.

"We won't know until we try, right? So, leave it to us!"

"Yeah, leave it to us!" repeated his partner.

"Yeah, culu!" chipped in Culumon.

"Please….please save Hagurumon…. I would be really grateful if you can….." pleaded Floramon.

The trio nodded. "By the way, which area were Devimon and his henchmen?" he asked, after a moment's pause.

"In…the Monochrome area," she replied.

"Monochrome area….."

"If you walk south from here, you'll come close to the clockwork area. You just need to take the stairs and head down," said Floramon.

"Oh! That's the place we went when we were with Ryo last time!"" exclaimed Hirokazu.

"Oh yeah! Then this should be easy!" added Guardromon.

"Be careful and good luck," wished Floramon. The trio nodded. They thanked the Gekomon and Tamamon, before headed off to the monochrome area. Little did they know that they would rejoin their friends.
