Chapter 13: Sparrow's Freak's Out

Its been over five in a half months since Sparrow and Riley left their home to make a new one. Riley is huge after this last few months. Sparrow made Riley stay off her feet and not to do much work. So Sparrow will carry Riley to the garden and sit her on a rock that Riley hovered over for her to sit on. Since it takes Sparrow some time to get Riley off the ground. This way it be easier to get up and walk. Riley had to tell Sparrow how to take care of the garden, since she couldn't bend down and pull weeds.
"Love come here please." Riley said softly as Sparrow watered their huge garden. "Ok." Sparrow said as he wiped the sweat off his brow. Sparrow jogged over to his love and looked down at her. Riley took Sparrow's ruff hand and placed his warm hand over her huge belly. "The baby is kicking again." Sparrow said with a smile. Riley knows how Sparrow loves to feel his baby kicking against his hand. "Yep. When I look at you my heart starts beating fast and then baby starts to kick." Riley said with a smile on her face.
Sparrow blushed a little at her words. "I love you." Sparrow said before he kissed her lips softly. Then went back to watering the garden before the two of them headed back to their home. It didn't take Sparrow long to finish watering. Riley got up slowly giving Sparrow enough time to walk over to her. "What do you want for dinner my love?" Riley asked her love. "How about fish?" Sparrow said with a smile. That is all they have been eating since they got there. Riley knows Sparrow is getting sick of fish. Riley on the other hand don't mind eating it, she had to eat out of trash can's for a few year's when she was growing up in the other world.
"How about we got hunting? Get some fresh meat?" Riley said and Sparrow looked at her. "I will do the kill and I can use my magic to carry it to our cleaning hut." Riley said and Sparrow smiled a little. "Ok that sounds good, as long as you don't over do it my love." Sparrow said as he held her hand. "Good let me get my bow and quiver and we can go." Riley said as she leaned on Sparrow as they walked.
It didn't take them long to get back to their home. Sparrow got Riley's bow and quiver before coming back to her. Riley was looking at the sky when Sparrow came back out. "How much time do we have to hunt?" Sparrow asked his love. "We got a few hours. Grab my basket just in case we find some over food." Riley said with a smile. Sparrow handed her the bow and quiver before jogging to the pouch to grab the hand made basket that Riley made a few months ago.
Then the two of them headed into the forest to hunt. Sparrow learned how to walk threw the forest with out making a sound. Riley had to show Sparrow how to do it. Riley would have gone wolf to hunt but Sparrow didn't want her to do it just in case she got hurt or the baby got hurt. So Riley had to convinces Sparrow to let her use a bow. Riley made a beautiful bow and quiver.
Riley found a deer trail and started to follow it. "Found a buck trail." Riley whispered to Sparrow and he nodded his head. Riley got her arrow set up as she walked softly. Then she found the buck in the meadow eating blue berries. Riley took in a slow breath as she took aim. Then when she let out her breath the arrow went flying. The arrow went threw the deer's heart, killing it fast and without being in pain. Riley used her magic to lift the deer's body up and they started to walk to the hunting hut. As they walked Riley saw some wild mushrooms, onions and potatoes. Stopping to pick them Sparrow picked just what they needed.
"Pick a few more of the onions and potatoes so we can plant them in our garden. If anything we can eat potatoes during the winter." Riley said as she could feel the cold months started to creep up on them. "I might have to put a summer barrier about the garden or use magic to speed up the growth of the garden." Riley said to Sparrow as she finished picking the food. "Why?" Sparrow said to his sweet she-wolf. "Because winter is coming and we are going to need a lot of food for the winter. The summer barrier will keep the garden warm and the ground wont freeze. The other one will give us enough food for the winter and let the ground rest during the winter." Riley said to her mate.
"Can we do both?" Sparrow said to her. "Both?" Riley asked him as they got closer to the hunting hut. "We can grow food during the winter to store up, we don't know how long the winter will be here." Sparrow said to her. "True, but I can just grow more. Once I give birth I can stock up on food before winter hits. Then all can do is enjoy winter with our pup." Riley said with a smile. Sparrow thought about it and nodded. "Ok it sounds good with me." Sparrow said as they got to the hunting hut they made for cleaning fish and animals.
So they can clean their food without other animals coming to their home because of the smell of blood. Riley hung the deer next to the hut and pulled her knife out. "My love can you bring me the bucket." Riley said softly. "Yes, my love." Sparrow said with a smile as he got the bucket for the inside of the deer. Once's it was under the deer Riley pulled out the arrow before she gutted the deer. The deer's gut's came spilling out of the deer and into the bucket. Blood splattered everywhere and Riley looked down at her bare legs.
Sparrow watched as Riley skinned the deer before she started to cut the meet off the bone and into their other bucket. "We might need to go hunting more so we can have more pelts." Riley said to Sparrow. "Why Riley?" Sparrow asked as he looked at her butt butt. "So, we can have some warm covers and clothes." Riley said with a smile as she looked behind her. Noticing that Sparrows sexy eyes was glued to her ass. Riley loves when Sparrow is checking her out. It make's her feel loved even though she is twice the size she was before finding out she was with child.
"Ok my love." Sparrow said to her. "And this means we can have more food for the winter." Riley said as she finished skinning the deer. "Do you want me to help now?" Sparrow asked as he moved closer. "Yes, my love." Riley said as Sparrow got closer to her. Then Riley started to cut the meat off the bone and handed it to Sparrow so he can put it into the bucket. This took them a few hours to get all the meat and heart into the bucket.
Riley put the bone into the sun to be dried and for the bugs to eat away the rest of the meat off the bones. So she can use them for other things. Riley used her magic after washing the blood off her body. Lifting the bucket from the ground before the two of them started to head back to their home. "How about a deer stew tonight?" Riley asked Sparrow. "That sounds good to me." Sparrow said back to her.
It was a few hours after sun down when the stew got done. Riley froze most of the meat so they can have it threw out the winter. Using her magic to make a root cellar and a freezer under their home. Riley had fun making the root cellar and freezer.
Sitting down at their outside table as they eat their hot dinner. Riley rubber her bare foot against Sparrow's boot. Sparrow blushed before he rubbed back and that made Riley giggle. "I love you Sparrow." Riley said after a few mouth full of stew. "I love you too Riley my love." Sparrow said back to her. "So after dinner want to go and have some fun?" Riley asked Sparrow. "Yes my love." Sparrow said as he been wanting to have her again and again.
Once dinner was put up the two of them headed for their bedroom. Just as they walked into their room, the sound of water hitting the hard wood floor rang out softly. "What was that?" Sparrow asked as he turned around. "My water just broke." Riley said softly as she started to breath slowly. "What does that mean?" Sparrow said in a high pitch voice. "It means the baby is coming my love." Riley said as she started to get the stuff she needed for the baby. "Oh no no no no I'm not ready." Sparrow said as he started to freak out. Riley couldn't help but to smile at him.
