Chapter 14: New Parents
Riley's pov
I laid down breathing hard as the contractions started. "Sparrow I need you to help me." I panted at my freaking out boyfriend. "Yes, sorry. What do you need me to do?" Sparrow said as he walked over to me. "I'm going to need you to catch the baby." I panted as another contraction came and this one hurt a lot. I was trying not scream out in pain and scare Sparrow. I can see him shacking and he looked very scared. "Sparrow you don't have to be scared my love. We are going to be fine but I'm going to need you. I can't give birth without you I'm scared too. We will get threw this and I love you and our baby. Our baby is going to need us to help it to come into this world." I said with a small smile.
Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. "Just so you know I might start screaming cause the contractions are started to get more painful then before. I am fine this is part of giving birth so please try and not freak out." I said to him as the pain started to over whelm me.
It was time to start pushing and I screamed as I pushed. Sparrow looked so scared as he was ready to catch our baby. "You are doing great my love." Sparrow said with a smile as he looked at me. I managed to smile back before pushing again and trying so hard not to scream. I never felt anything like this before. Giving birth is a new different kind of pain that I never felt before. "I can see a head." Sparrow said breathlessly as I saw his hands started to stop shacking as he got ready. I pushed again and I heard the most beautiful sound of my child crying as he was born.
Sparrow cut the cord and cleaned up our baby. Then I felt it and screamed again. Sparrow looked at me. "Where not done my love." I panted as I started to push again. "Ok." Sparrow said as he put down our baby down. Then he got ready for the next baby and I pushed and pushed. This one didn't want to come out like the first baby. I screamed as I pushed again and the baby come out screaming with me. Sparrow smiled more as he did the same as before. I panted as I looked at him. "What do we have?" I asked him.
Smiling softly Sparrow looked up at me. "The first one is a boy. The second one is a beautiful girl." Sparrow said and as I opened my mouth to speak, a scream came out. I could see Sparrow's eyes go wide when he moved closer to me. Then looking down and I guess I'm having another baby. This one came out a lot easier then the first two. I felt like this was the last one and I laid back down. Breathing hard as I watched Sparrow clean up our third child and wrapped it up. "We have another boy." Sparrow said as he handed me my babies one by one.
Tears ran down my face as I held my babies and Sparrow came and laid with us. I looked down at my two boy's and my little girl. "What are we going to name them?" I asked as I cooed at my new family. The one's that will love me for me, well I hope they will. The first boy has Sparrow's hair and the youngest boy has my hair color. "How about Balto for the eldest?" Sparrow said softly. I looked at him. "I love it my love." I said as I kissed Sparrow's lips. "For my little girl how about Luna?" I said to Sparrow as she looked down at my little girl. I will love her no matter what she does, no like what my parents did to me.
"Luna, I love it Riley." Sparrow said before he kissed Luna on top of the her head. I looked at my last boy. We though back names but none of them felt right. "How about Hawk?" Sparrow said softly. I smiled at my love. "I love it my sweet Sparrow. Balto, Luna and little Hawk." I said before I started to take off my top. "What are you doing Riley?" Sparrow said in a husky voice. "I'm going to need to feed them Sparrow. Could you go and get the cloth dippers." I said in a tired voice as I started to feed Balto and Luna first.
Sparrow got up and left the room for a while then came back and took Hawk. I watched him as he put Hawk in a dipper. We practices on putting a dipper on a baby or for us a log. When Balto was full I gave him so his father and Sparrow gave me Hawk so he could get fed. "Make sure you burp him." I said as Luna start to get full too. My pup eat fast just like me. "I will." Sparrow said as he started to burp Balto. Luna moved away from my breast and whimpered softly. I burped her and she yawned after her let out a huge burp.
Then she started nuzzled into me before she fell asleep. Hawk too ate fast like the rest of us. Then Sparrow took Luna to put a dipper on her before laying her next to Balto. I smiled as I burped Hawk and then put a dipper on him. Then put him next to his sister and all three of them snuggled into each other. Sparrow and I watched them and they then turned into wolf pups. "They are going to take after you my love." Sparrow said with a smile but I knew he was sad. "They might be able to turn into wolfs but they might be like you. Balto has your hair and beautiful green eyes. Luna might look like me but she could be like you. A rock star when she gets older. Then again Hawk could be like you or all three could. But I do want more pups so you could still have a chance." I said with a smile.
"You want more pups?" Sparrow said with a huge smile. "Yes but not for a while. We are going to have our hands full with these three. But if it happens sooner, we will be ready and happy." I said before they turned back into babies. "I love you Riley Bad Wolf." Sparrow said but I shook my head. "I'm not a Bad Wolf anymore. I'm Riley Hood now." I said and Sparrow smiled before he hugged me. "I really love that." Sparrow whispered into my ear. "Me too. I'm going to snuggle with the pups and sleep while I heal. Cause I have to feed them every few hours. So I need to sleep while I can." I said in a tired voice.
"Sleep my love and I will be here to watch over you and the pups." Sparrow said before he covered me up. The last thing I saw before I fell asleep was Sparrow laying on the other side of the pups and watching me. My eyes closed and they didn't open back up till it was time to feed the pups.
