Zero Kura. A 16-year-old male with waist-length silky raven black hair and a stubble lining his chiseled jaw-line skin as pale as the snow 5'9 and is muscularly built but what is special is that he has black fox ears and nine fox tails with white tips and crimson red eyes.
He has a companion with him in the house he shares in Tokyo. She is a woman at the age of 15 years, her name is Mizuki Ryu she has white hair that cuts off at her mid-back, slender physique and modest bust round face golden cat-like eyes with two white cat ears and a single cat-tail.
Zero wears a black trench coat, black cargo pants, and black combat boots with a type of cross for the Shinto faith that is worn like a bracelet. Mizuki wears a white tank top with black jeans and a pair of sneakers and a silver necklace with a ruby gem in the center given to her by Zero.
These two have been living with their 'brother' since they can remember as they were both abandoned on his doorstep when he took them in he noticed their features but didn't care. We later learned that he was a devil that decided he liked the human world better than the underworld. but he passed away a few weeks ago because he fell ill. But he left us with one last bit of information in the form of a letter before he passed on.

But the most important thing you should know is that Kyoto is the capital of the Yokai faction and I have a home in my name waiting for you two I also left everything I own too, you two take care and bless your souls.

That was the letter he left and it left a big choice in our minds. Do we go to Kyoto now or later if at all? "I think it would be best if we got in touch at least. " I said, I'm Zero by the way, while leaning back in the chair I'm currently in "But don't you think that's risky what about what Zenith said?" Mizuki asked uncertainly about what we should do "That we can't hide forever yeah I got that, so why not let us get the jump on them instead of the other way round." I said trying to make my argument for my reasoning "Well, we wouldn't be surprised then, *Sigh* I guess we should." she said as she finally relented after being at this argument for hours "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go to Kyoto!" I said a little too enthusiastically as I soon found out "Why do you want to meet more of are kind anyways." She asked as a mischievous glint came in her eye "Am I not good enough for you." She said with the entente to get me a little flustered by crawling onto my lap till she straddled me, and clamped her hand on my shoulders. I tried to fight off the blush creeping on my face, keyword being tried "Well, that not it but I just wanted to see what it's like to be around a Yokai I didn't grow up with." I said while turning my head to the right as she was exposing a little more cleavage than necessary but she turned my head back so our eyes met "And what does that mean?" She asked with a fake pout with her lip trembling and another thing. She's a cat why can she do the puppy eyes so well damn it! "Nothing I just meant we're like brother and sister even though you keep teasing me. " I said while petting her head to placate her to get her to stop "But we're not so, it wouldn't be wong." She said while hiding her smirk because Zero just turned as red as his eyes were. And just like that, she left the Kyuubi in the chair thinking his life over "Well I'm going to go to sleep since we have a long trip tomorrow." She said and soon as she left the view with her damn swaying hips Zero regained composure "Bitch." he lowly growled and went to take a cold shower before he went to bed.
The next morning came and Zero hated the sun. He just wanted eternal darkness to reign so he could sleep till his body decided it was ready and not the sun. But still, he got up and ready for the day. When he went downstairs he saw Mizuki was already down there looking at a map of Kyoto "Someone else seems excited to go." I said while coming to look at the map on the coffee table. But just as I did she jumped on my back "You think because I left you last night, you can just come down here like nothing happened." she said while leaning in my ear. But I didn't even care at this point.
"If you don't stop I'm throwing you out the door. It's too damn early." I said with an annoyed scowl. "Fine." She sighs as she gets off. "We should get going then." I said as we left the old home behind for Kyoto to start are new life for better or worse that has yet to be decided.
