When Dumbledore called Bill's name to be the Head Boy, the entire Gryffindor table went insane. Bill was proud but nervous and excited for his new responsibilities. He was especially excited to get away from the annoying idiots he had been sharing a room with for the last six years. They were the most idiot teenage boys you ever could've met. They all would've flunked out by now if it weren't for Bill, and now that he was moving out into the Head boy's quarters, they probably would.
After the feast was over bill started to walk towards Gryffindor tower. He was half way there when Charlie stopped him. "Bill what are you doing?"
"Going to bed?" Bill replied annoyed at his brothers stupidity.
"Your room is back that way closer to Ravenclaw Tower." Replied Charlie knowing he'd outsmarted his brother.
"Oh, right."
He hates whenever a younger sibling of his catches him in a mistake. Fred and George especially would hold it over him for so long. He reluctantly thanked Charlie and walked back the way he came, not seeing the smug look on his brother's face.
When he arrived at the Head Boy's quarters he stared at the door for a while in disbelief. He wasn't sure if this was real. His mother was very proud and hoped his siblings would follow in his footsteps. To him that felt like a lot of pressure on him to always be the best of the best. How could he be anything less when he had six others looking up to him?
"What could you possibly be staring at for so long? Never seen a door before? Honestly."
Bill turned around to see the most beautiful person he had ever seen. Her long brown hair and bright blue eyes were dazzling. Although, Bill usually preferred blondes.
"I have. Seen a door I mean, yea. Who are you?" he stammered.
"I and am the one who's way you're blocking by goggling at our door." She rolled her eyes and shouldered past him, opened the door, walked through and slammed it in his face. Bill was frozen by confusion. Who was that gorgeous girl that just walked into his room? He shook his confusion away and followed her through.
As soon as he got through the door he immediately felt like an idiot. This was not the door to his room, but two a hallway, that had two doors. These doors were labeled Head Boy and Head Girl. That girl was Emily Tyler, the Head Girl. How had he not recognized her before? She had changed so much over the summer. Not enough to improve her manners though. Bill decided he should get on decent terms with his new neighbor. He didn't want to start out the new year with grudges. He went to her door and knocked on it. The beautiful angel opened the door with a look of pure annoyance on her face.
"What?" She spat.
"I just wanted to apologize for zoning out back there. I didn't mean to block your way."
"Well apology accepted, but we're not friends so don't get any ideas about bothering me after this."
Her door shut and bill was there dumbfounded again. Not by her terrible attitude, but by how amazing she looked when annoyed. He turned around suddenly curious where he would be living for his last year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The room was perfect. It had a canopy bed in Gryffindor colors, an extravagant dark brown desk with drawers and a mirror. Royalty compared to the wobbly tables he'd always done homework on in the Gryffindor common room. There was a night stand next to his bed and two doors at the end of the room. He went to the one on the left and found a massive bathroom. It was only so big because of the miniature pool sized bathtub. The door on the right was a closet. Bill sat down on the bed and saw his trunk on the floor next to it. He wondered what he did to deserve this more than other people. More than anything, though, he thought how lucky he was to have a neighbor as lovely as Emily Tyler.
