Luna buried her face into her pillow before tossing it aside. It was no use. Even if she wanted to sleep, she couldn't.
She was so, so worried about Harry. He was all she could think about. Last year, at Dumbledore's funeral, he had broken up with her. She was expecting it, of course. Harry would never truly be happy unless he was helping their side win the war. But she was so worried for his safety.
Harry was a good wizard, of course, he was. But He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was much more powerful. Luna was aware of a stinging on her hand. She lifted it up to her face and whispered the words that left a scar there.
Harry Potter is a villain.
Luna hated that those words would be forever scarred onto her hand. When the Carrows had been telling their classes about just how evil Harry was, she couldn't take it. She had declared that Harry was a good wizard who was much better than them and would be their downfall. To put it lightly, they were surprised when the quiet girl had stood up to them. After class, Alecto Carrow had dragged her to the staff room where he and his sister watched with glee as she was forced to trace those words onto her skin. Until then, Luna hadn't even realized that they had blood quills.
Tears sprang to her eyes and Luna wiped them away. She couldn't be weak, not now. Rays of sunlight made their way through the windows of her dorm and she knew she should get at least a few hours of sleep. She whispered to the stars for them to please help Harry and snuggled deeper into her blanket. She couldn't wait for Harry to return to her.
