Chapter 6 is here and let's see what the team does against the Worldkillers.
DEO:
While Winn was still asleep, things were slowly looking up as Riku had woken up and the Ultraman Belial capsule had stopped glowing. Laiha was happy that Riku was awake and Lena had left to head back to L-Corp, the team ran in to see Riku along with Zero who had just returned from scanning the city with Kara.
"Welcome to us, Geed." J'onn smiled as he held out his hand, Riku smiled and nodded as he shook J'onn's hand. "You've missed a lot since you were out of action." Riku nodded then looked at Laiha.
"Laiha already told me everything. How can I help?" Riku asked as he picked up the Capsule Holder and attached it to his belt. Kara walked over to Winn to see that he was sleeping and his vitals were still normal.
"Can you do anything to help Winn?" Kara asked as she looked at Riku who was sitting on the edge of the bed. "Sorry. I'm asking you for help and you've just woken up." Kara apologised but Riku shook his head then smiled.
"Zero, can Cosmos and Hikari's power help cure Winn?" Riku asked as he was unsure but Zero was just as unsure as him.
"I don't know. We've never dealt with them before and I checked with my Father; there's no record at home about Pestilence's virus." Zero told them which made everyone try to think of another way to help all the ill people until Winn started coughing.
"I don't think… the cure… is working." Winn spoke whilst he was coughing then the team ran over to him. Zero tapped the crystal on his Ultimate Bracelet which changed his form as he was now all blue with smile marking and his horns were blue: he changed into Luna Miracle Zero.
"I'm gonna try something!" Zero shouted as he stood in front of Winn's bed. "Here goes nothing! Full Moon Wave!" Zero shouted then he fired yellow particles from his left hand, they were entering Winn's body and slowly calming his body from shaking like a leaf. Everyone thought that the problem was calming down until Alex collapsed but Gai caught her before she hit the floor.
"NO! Alex!" Kara shouted as she ran over and knelt by her sister; her hand had the exact scratch as the other victims. "What about the cure? Can we use it?" Kara asked Zero who had ran over to Alex.
"No, we can't," Zero spoke which surprised everyone. "I did a scan on it and it can only cure people from the Blight, not from Pestilence." Zero explained as Gai carried Alex into the med bed that Riku was laying in.
"We need to find Pestilence and get a sample from her now!" Riku shouted and the team nodded. "Zero, can we talk outside?" Riku asked and Zero nodded, they left the med bay and towards the balcony.
A few minutes later, Geed and Zero walked into the med bay in their blue forms. Zero stood next to Winn and Geed was next to Alex, they held their hands over their ill friends and started giving them some of their energy to slowly ease their pain. Irma walked past and saw everything and was confused, she was busy watching that she didn't hear Gai and Kara walking towards her.
"Riku and Zero are giving Winn and Alex their energy to make them feel less pain," Gai spoke with startled Irma. "At the moment, I've got a friend following a lead for me." Gai told them then he looked directly at Irma. "We don't kill people and that includes Worldkillers! We try and get through to their human side, to who they were before they became who they are." Gai shouted at Irma then a purple and red portal opened behind Gai and Kara.
"Sounds exactly like the Gai I know all too well." Gai and Kara turned around to see an alien who was covered in a rock kind of armor and a red crescent moon on his chest. The alien then changed into a smartly dressed man with short black messy hair and a katana in his right hand.
"Juggler, thanks for showing up." Gai thanked him as he walked over to the man, he nodded then they shook hands.
"It's like you said: we may have different types of powers but we choose how to use them." Juggler reminded him and Gai nodded. Juggler then looked at Kara and Irma and he smiled and bowed. "The name's Jugglus Juggler. But call me Juggler." He introduced himself as he stood up and smiled, Kara nodded then walked over and shook Juggler's hand.
"Kara Zor-El or Supergirl. Nice to meet you, Juggler." Kara then looked behind and pointed at Irma. "And that's Irma: she's from the future." Kara told him and Juggler nodded, he then walked over to Irma as he flicked his right hand and his katana disappeared.
"You want to kill the Worldkillers, correct?" Juggler asked and Irma nodded. "Let me tell you a short story: I was evil like the Worldkillers as I summoned monsters to kill Gai. But then Gai helped open my eyes and released something: just because I had dark powers, didn't mean I had to be evil." Juggler told her then he turned and looked at Gai.
"Did you get anything from the lead, Juggler?" Gai asked as he placed his hands in his pockets. Juggler nodded then reached inside his pocket and took out a photo.
"This is your Worldkiller." Juggler told Gai and Kara as he pointed at the photo: it was from City Hall with a nurse in the background. "I can sense dark powers like the powers that the Worldkillers process." Juggler explained to Kara who was impressed, they ran downstairs where J'onn and Mon-El were talking.
"We've got an identity on our Worldkiller!" Kara shouted which surprised both J'onn and Mon-El. "Thanks to a friend of Gai, this is Juggler." Juggler nodded as he stepped forward and pointed at the nurse in the photo.
"This is Pestilence also known as Grace Parker." Juggler told them then Brainiac picked up the tablet and started tracing Grace's location. "Looks like she's at Silvermine Health Insurance building." Juggler spoke before Brainiac could speak then he looked at Gai and the pair nodded.
"Let's get her and this time, I'm using the big sword." Gai spoke then nodded at Juggler as he knew what his friend met. Juggler summoned his katana then slashed downwards: creating a portal.
"This will get us to Pestilence faster." Juggler told them then Mon-El, Kara, Gai and Juggler ran through the portal but what they didn't know was that Brainy had his comms on and now Irma knew where Pestilence was.
Silvermine Health Insurance:
It didn't take the team long to appear inside the building to see Pestilence about to kill the board members. Juggler threw his sword which cut Pestilence's poison nails and it flew back into his hand.
"You would save people who profit on the suffering of others?" Pestilence asked then she looked directly at Juggler. "And you. You have dark powers yet you side with the people who fight the darkness." Juggler chuckled then smiled at Grace.
"We all have darkness inside us, even heroes do." Juggler chuckled then he pointed his katana at Pestilence. "But the difference between us: I choose to use my power to stop people who abuse the power." Pestilence laughed then fired her nails at the heroes but Juggler held his katana up and they bounced off. Gai used the chance to take out a card and scanned it in the Orb Ring, causing it to flash multi-colours.
"Awaken: Orb Origin!" The ring shot out a sword and Gai caught it, he then spun the gold ring in the center and it started glowing. Gai was glowing white until the light dimmed down to reveal a red, silver and black form: it was Orb in his Origin form and he was holding the Orb Calibur in his right hand.
"My turn." Juggler spoke as his eyes started to glow green; transforming him into his Majin form. "Let's do this, Gai!" Juggler shouted and Gai nodded then they charged towards Pestilence as she fired her nails, the pair used their swords to reflect her nails back at her.
"Don't think so!" Pestilence shouted as she punched both Orb and Juggler through a window, the pair landed on the ground floor just as Irma arrived. "Now, excuse me." Pestilence chuckled but she got a surprise when Supergirl jumped in and punched her onto the ground floor. Pestilence got back up and was about to throw a pole at Irma when Juggler slid on his knees and slashed her on the kneecaps.
"For someone so tough, it seems like my sword can cut you like butter."Juggler chuckled which angered Pestilence. Orb ran up behind her and slashed Pestilence upwards but then she started floating. Supergirl then flew up and the pair started fighting until Supergirl tossed Pestilence into a wall and she hit the ground hard but what surprised everyone was when Pestilence started laughing.
"What's so funny?" Mon-El shouted then Pestilence pointed at Kara who had a scratch on her hand and her nose was bleeding. She then started falling but Mon-El caught her as Orb and Juggler stood in front of them as a shield. Pestilence was about to attack when a blue shield surrounded her: it was Irma using her powers to prevent Pestilence from escaping.
"Gai, give me some support!" Juggler shouted as he ran toward Pestilence while Gai held up his sword and it was glowing red.
"Orb Flame Calibur!" Orb shouted as he threw a red flaming orb at Pestilence which powered up Irma's shield. Juggler ran towards the shield then slid across the floor, he got his hand into the shield and stabbed a small silver object into Pestilence's knee where he slashed her earlier. The combined containment attack caused Pestilence to fall onto one knee but she was smiling as everyone looked at her which made them worried.
"She's here." Pestilence chuckled as the glass roof shattered, Purity landed next to Pestilence. She looked at Supergirl and Mon-El then fired her scream at them but it was blocked by Orb who was using his Orb Calibur. The team looked up to see that both Worldkillers had escaped which angered Irma as she looked at the ceiling.
"We leave empty handed," Kara, Mon-El and Irma looked at Juggler who was holding the same silver object he stabbed into Pestilence. "I was able to get a sample of Pestilence's DNA so the cure can be altered." Juggler explained then tossed the vial to Irma and she looked at Juggler and Orb who were shaking hands.
DEO:
While Kara, Alex and Winn were getting injected with the new version of the Blight cure, Gai and Zero walked over to Irma who was standing on the balcony looking at the night sky.
"We were so close." Irma was frustrated that Pestilence got away, Zero walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"What matters right now is that we saved lives. That's a bigger win right now than anything else." Zero told her and Irma nodded. "And besides, I know why you want to stop Bright more than anything else. Even if that meant killing Pestilence." Irma looked at Zero who had walked to the edge of the balcony. "Your sister. She was killed during the Bright. You want to stop the Bright in order to bring her back." Zero spoke as he turned around and looked at Irma who was crying.
"How do you know that? I haven't told any of you. Only Mon-El and Brainy know." Irma was confused then Zero stood in front of her.
"Father Of Ultra. He can foresee anything and look into people's personal lives, even if they're from a different point in time." Zero explained which surprised Irma.
"When I saw Kara holding Alex's hand earlier, I was thinking that was me and Preya in the future." Irma told them when Kara, Riku and Laiha showed up as they had heard everything. Gai was about to speak when they noticed a green glow from Riku's hand: it was the Father Of Ultra capsule.
"Riku, what's wrong with the capsule?" Laiha asked but Riku didn't answer as his eyes were glowing green.
"I can see where Worldkillers will strike next!" Riku shouted which surprised everyone. "They're going to L-Corp!" Riku shouted and without warning, he jumped over the balcony which scared everyone until they saw Ultraman Geed in his Primitive form fly away.
"Let's go, Orb!" Zero shouted and Gai nodded as they jumped and Gai changed into his Spacium Zeperion form. Kara, Mon-El and Irma then followed them towards L-Corp while Kara was holding Lena was okay.
Chapter 6 is ending here but there is still more to come! Who enjoyed Juggler's appearance as he'll be back again later. Geed is back in action! How will Kara react to what Lena is doing? Will their newly found relationship survive?
