Chapter 1
Percy POV
"Aahhh!".
"One more push Arty." Apollo said.
"Don't call me Arty!" my wife shouted, I had to stop myself from screaming as well because of how hard she was squeezing my hand. Although I guess I'm still better off than Nico, when his son was born Thalia broke his hand in three places and Leo's son was literally born on fire, thankfully fire doesn't hurt Hestia.
Artemis screamed again and when her voice died down I could hear crying not very loud but still there "Congratulations sis it's a boy!" Apollo said.
Artemis held out her arms for our son only to scream an instant later "What's going on?".
"There's another one!" Apollo screamed handing me my son "You got twins man!" 30 minutes later my daughter came into existence much more loudly than her brother.
"So what are you going to call them?" Apollo asked placing his niece in my wife's arms.
"Samuel and Luna." She said, I'm not sure why but those names just felt right when we talked, although at the time we didn't know we had twins on the way. I handed Samuel to his uncle and stepped outside the cave we were in on Ogygia and called the others in. Nico was stand next to Thalia who was holding their son Jace (so named after Jason), both my biological mom and my step mother Athena stood there holding their daughters. Leo and Frank sat in chairs sleeping having been up all night taking care of the kids so their wives could get some much needed rest.
"So how is the baby." Hestia asked as we walked in.
"Babies." I said "It was twins, boy and a girl and they're fine.".
Inside I could hear Arty arguing with her brother "No we are not going to name him Argentum!" she shouted.
"C'mon sis their names would literally mean Silver Moon." Apollo whined.
"Not happening!" Arty said in a low growl. As we entered I noticed that Apollo had cleaned the place up while I had been gone and was currently rocking Samuel back and forth slowly.
"Hold it right there." My mom said whipping out her camera and taking a picture. All the girls flocked around Apollo to see Sam, giggling about how cute he was while my father went straight for Luna. "No!" Artemis said flatly catching everyone's attention.
"What do you mean no?" Athena asked.
"I mean you can't have her yet." Artemis said bluntly "You take turns holding Samuel and when you're done I'll trade you Luna for Samuel.".
"Arty." I said softly.
"Don't Arty me!" She snapped "I just spent 18 Hours in labor bringing these two into the world and I will be hold at least one of them at all times." (AN: Just so you know 8 hours of labor is normal for your first child 18 hours is excruciating, I had to look it up and had a very awkward conversation with my dad when he found the search history.)
I didn't want to cause Artemis any more stress so I gave the other a tired shrug and nodded in agreement. My mother, both of them, held onto Samuel far longer than the rest causing the others complained. When the time came we traded out Samuel for Luna and Artemis promptly fell asleep two minutes later.
I took a picture of the scene then tried to take Sam from her only to be nearly impaled. In her sleep Artemis summoned a knife and hurled it at me with surprising accuracy.
"You know what I'll let her keep him for now." I said slowly backing away. Artemis shifted to her side slightly and wrapped her other arm around Sam letting his sleeping head rest on her chest.
"While we're all here there's something you all need to know." Athena said "I did a little research and we can't all stay here like we planned. After to long our combined power will begin drawing attention we don't want. Natalie and Blair can stay and maybe Hazel and her family but that's it the rest of us need to take our kids away from here within the next few days."
-Time skip 6 months-
Percy POV
"Next time you can do it on your own." Nico said as we flashed back into the hunters camp.
"Oh come on it wasn't that bad." I said stifling a laugh.
"You said you needed my help for a sword demonstration, not that I would get egged if I lost!" He half shouted.
"I didn't think you'd let him win." I defended.
"I was trying to build up his confidence!". He shot back
Nico took a deep breath to calm himself and I heard someone laughing coming from my tent. Well technically it was my wife's tent I just slept there. I had my own tent I could flash to incase we had a surprise visitor. I looked inside and Thalia was on the floor saying 'I can't breath in' between laughing fits and Artemis was leaning on her dresser holding her sides.
In the rather large crib all three of our children were laughing...well giggling. "What's going on?" I asked. Thalia tried to say something but it was rendered unintelligible by her laughter.
"Watch this." Artemis said once they had calmed down. Thalia picked up Jace and Arty picked up Samuel then turned so they had their backs to each other. Arty started counting down "3, 2, 1 turn.". It took a second for Jace and Sam to realize the other was there but once they did they just started laughing.
Luna who was still in the crib also bust out laughing "Okay that's kinda funny." I said.
"Just wait." Artemis said, both her and Thalia started making faces at their children. Sam and Jace went cross eyed and started laughing even harder. Thalia set Jace back in his crib "I...can't...breath!" She laughed before collapsing once again.
