Chloe lay in her apartment bed. She was in a half-conscious state, dreaming something. Suddenly, there was a noise that was barely audible. She began to wake up. After a minute or two, she could hear the noise better.
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
Chloe groaned. She didn't remember setting an alarm. She pressed the button on her alarm clock lightly. Immediately, she heard another beeping. This time, it came from her phone.
Ding! Ding!
"...The fuck?" she muttered. She picked up her phone. It said, 'Visit Professor Birch today at 9:00.'
"I don't remember setting this." Chloe said. She checked her clock. 8:30.
"Well, shit."
She threw on her navy blue Double Coat Dress, then slipped on her black knee socks and black Rider Boots. She carefully put on eyeliner and blush, as she didn't have time for much. She almost grabbed her navy blue Rider cap but saw her adorable Pancham hat.
"Mmm… No."
She put on the Rider cap.
She grabbed Rocky the Rhyhorn's Pokeball, as well as Dakota the shiny Froakie's. It was Professor Bitch, after all. This "meeting" someone scheduled was probably about Pokemon, and possibly battling.
Chloe was a famous 12-year-old Rhyhorn rider in Kalos, as well as Champion, but she lives in Galar. She makes regular trips to Kalos, however. In both of those regions, it's cold. However, she decided to take a vacation to the Hoenn region, and it was hot. However, she refused to take off her coat.
"It's not that bad," she'd say, sweating profusely. "Just a smidgen hot."
She exited her apartment in Littleroot town. She would've checked in at a hotel in Mossdeep or Lilycove, but both were filled up, so she had to settle for this small town filled with kids. Seriously, is this Hellspa- Kidspawn? She entered the laboratory.
"Hey! Where's Professor Bitch?" Chloe asked one of the scientists.
"Busy, busy, busy… Oh! He's, umm… Oh, yeah! He's on Route 101, studying Pokemon." The scientists said, before scurrying away.
"Hmph. Whatever." Chloe sighed. She exited the building just as someone screamed. Loudly.
"What the hell!?" Chloe yelled.
"HELP ME!" someone yelled. Chloe ran over. The yelling was coming over from Route 101. It was probably Birch being mauled by something.
"Wait, do you have a Pok-" the Youngster asked her. Chloe shoved him aside.
"Kalos Champion, coming through," she muttered. "WOAH! That's so cool! What's it like? Did any Pokemon d-" the Youngster started.
"Shut it, kid. I got work to do," she growled at him. She shoved past him and saw Professor Bitch being mauled, as she thought.
By a level 2 Poochyena.
"Dakota, use Bubble," Chloe sighed. Dakota hopped out of her Ball and splashed the Poochyena, killing it.
"Jesus, 'Kota. Why'd you do that!?" Chloe asked. "That was cool!"
"Thank you so much! You must be Chloe. How could I repay you?" Chloe stared at the Pokeballs in his fallen bag. She picked them both up, sending them out. Out came a Mudkip, and a Treecko.
"Hmm… Mine now," she muttered, picking up the Treeko in between her arms. "You could gimme this."
The Treecko nuzzled into her warmth. "Also, why were you getting attacked by that? First off, it was fucking level 2, just kick it or something. Secondly, why didn't you use these Pokemon?" Chloe asked.
"Ummm…" Bitch rubbed his head, clearly embarrassed. "Couldn't…. Reach them?"
Chloe yawned. "Whatever. Don't give me the tutorial bullshit. I already have Balls and know how to use them." she said. "I'm training in the grass. Probably won't see you again."
"Wait!" Professor Birch yelled. "Don't you need a Pokedex?"
"Already got one." she pulled out Dexter the Pokedex. "Buh-bye, now." She left. After about two hours of grinding, she got her Treecko, which she had affectionately named Dante, to a whopping…
Level 14.
"Not bad, Don'." She said. She checked her phone. 5:00 p.m. Not bad. She could go for more.
She passed by Oldale town, not even needing to stop at the Pokemon center. She tried to go to Route 102.
"I'm studying some rare Pokemon tracks!" some nerd boy said.
"Hey, stupid. Those are your footprints." Chloe said, annoyed. "Besides, I'm the Champion of Kalos. I do what I want."
"No…" he whined. "I wanna study these. And they are not my tracks!" Chloe sighed. She kicked some dirt onto the 'Pokemon tracks'.
"Hey! Don't do that!" he cried.
Chloe walked over to Route 103. The Route ended in a dead-end, but there was also a boy who looked to be 2 years younger than her. He was studying a small puddle of water. He turned around when he heard footsteps.
"Hi!" he said. "Did you get a Pokemon from Da- Professor Birch?" he asked.
"Yep. I did, but I also have Pokemon of my own. Wait, what business is it of yours?" Chloe caught herself.
"I got a Pokémon from him, too! Let's have a battle!" he cheered. Chloe sighed. "Fine, fine. What's your name, anyway?"
"I'm Brendan! What about you? He asked, sending out a Torchic. "Go, Daniel!" He said.
"Hmm… Let's spice things up. Go, Rockstar." Chloe said calmly. She sent out her Rhyhorn.
"Ooh. Did Prof. give you that?" Brendan asked. "Dan', use scratch!" The chicken scratched the rocky Rhyhorn. It wasn't very effective.
"Nope. I'm from the Galar region, but I'm on vacation. Rocky and Dakota, over there, are my Pokémon." Chloe said. "Rockstar, finish this with Take Down!" Rocky ran towards the Torchic at full speed. Suddenly, Dakota sprang up from her seat and barreled into the Torchic, helping it dodge Rocky's fierce attack.
"What the heck, 'Kota?!" Chloe yelled. Dakota gave her a glance that said it all.
"Oh, yeah…" Chloe bowed to Brendon. "I'm sorry. I'm so used to fighting powerful Pokémon that I forgot that might've killed Daniel."
"Ohhh… It's OK! I'm just glad your Froakie - Dakota, was it - over there knew that." he motioned towards Dakota. Daniel was tweeting at her. He was probably thanking Dakota or something.
"Well, I guess you won. Let me heal up your Pokemon-"
"Won't be necessary," Chloe said. "I'll heal your Pokemon." She pulled out a Potion and sprayed the Torchic with it.
"Torr! Torchic!" It said, pleased.
Chloe smiled at it. "Your welcome," She looked up at Brendon. "Shall we head to Petalburg now?"
He smiled at Chloe. "Yeah, but that nerdy dude was blocking the path."
"Don't worry. I've got this." She checked her clock. "We're probably gonna have to go tomorrow, though." She showed her clock to him.
"Oh, wow. 7:48 already? Time flies when you're having fun, I guess."
The two headed back to Oldale town and stayed the night at the Pokemon center.
