Shulk-Heir to the Monado
BCDE: So, the time has come. How does it feel coming to the Nintendo Switch?
Shulk: Never felt better. I honestly can't believe that it's been over 8 years since we were released; now we're coming back on the Switch.
BCDE: I guess you could say, "You're really feeling it?"
Shulk: Hahah, you have no idea how many people quote that. It's near impossible for me to walk around the Smash community without everyone saying a lot of the things I've said.
BCDE: Well, now you get to experience that again (holds up a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles) in HD!
Shulk: Oh boy (Shulk leans back on his chair and smiles), this is gonna be a blast.
Fiora-Shulk's love interest/Dunban's sister
Fiora: sits at the table with her head leaning on her hand, eyes closed and humming the Gaur Plains theme with a smile.
BCDE: Is that gonna be in the soundtrack?
Fiora: Oh! (Fiora's eyes shoot open and she straightens up) Sorry, that's just a really catchy tune. Anyway, I was blown away when I heard we were coming to the Switch. I thought mine and Shulk's cameo in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was going to be all there was, but to come back entirely is a dream come true!
BCDE: Well, I'm sure your fans must feel the same way. I know I am.
Fiora: Well, its fans like you that keep us going. In fact, here (Fiora hands BCDE a bento box). I made this for you to commemorate our incoming release.
BCDE: Aw, thanks Fiora. You really- (opens up the bento box to see a meal designed like Shulk's face surrounded by a heart)...shouldn't have.
Fiora: sweet smile
Reyn-Tough guy with a heart of gold
BCDE: And there he is. You know why you're here, don't you?
Reyn: You better believe I do, mate. I'm here to tell you that everyone better be ready on May 29th, because it's gonna be Reyn Time again baby!
BCDE: Damn right it is! (BCDE and Reyn fist bump, causing BCDE to shake his own hand in discomfort).
Reyn: So, I hear you're a big fan of Xenoblade Chronicles. I'd wager you found out about it from Super Smash Bros, am I right?
BCDE: Well, yes. It's pretty much the same way I found out about Fire Emblem years ago. I found the game on the WII U shop channel and I've been hooked ever since- hey, wait a minute. Reyn, I'M the one interviewing here!
Reyn: You sure about that? Did you forget what time it is (Reyn shoots BCDE a cocky grin)?
BCDE: sighs So, it all started when I bought Super Smash Bros for the WII U...
Sharla-Medical Gunslinger
BCDE: Argh, stupid flies (BCDE bats away several flies that got into the room)! Sharla's gonna be here any minute and I don't need these things buzzing around-
Sharla: walks in and shoots down all the flies with her rifle before setting it down and taking her seat. Is that better?
BCDE: Uh, yeah...nice shooting, Tex. BCDE sits back down to begin the interview.
Sharla: Hahah, well anyway, it's so great to be back and on the Switch no less. Don't get me wrong, we had an excellent run on the Wii, but to be able to be played on a handheld/home console is just fabulous!
BCDE: Wait, a handheld console? Wasn't it released on the New 3DS a few years back?
Sharla: Oh come on, how many people actually own one of those glorified, pallete swapped 3DS's anyway?
BCDE: I'm sure plenty of people do.
Sharla: Oh really, do you happen to have one?
BCDE: Uh...
Sharla: My point exactly (points her left thumb and index finger and makes a "bang" gesture and winks).
Dunban-War Hero/Fiora's brother
BCDE: So, I take it you're just as excited to be back as everyone else is?
Dunban: I'd be lying if I said I didn't. It seems like only yesterday that Xenoblade Chronicles was first released and to be back nothing short of incredible. I just hope my wounds won't be too visible, that would be a little embarrassing.
BCDE: Your right arm still bugging you, I take it?
Dunban: Quite. Thankfully, I learned to become a southpaw (Dunban playfully jabs his left hand to demonstrate).
BCDE: Hah, you're a regular Rocky Balboa, aren't you?
Dunban: mimicking Rocky's accent Uh, ya know, maybe I'll fight the Mechon. Uh, maybe I won't. What do you think about that, huh?
BCDE: Hahahah. Oh it's great to have you guys back.
Melia Antiqua-Queen of the High Entia
BCDE: I suppose it should come as no surprise to you, but a lot of people are really glad that the remaster of Xenoblade Chronicles is coming to the Switch. How do you feel about that?
Melia: Honestly, I'm a little surprised. You'd think it would've come out during the first year of the Switch's run. But, regardless, I'm plenty happy to hear so many fans are excited for it.
BCDE: Well, no one really thought that Xenoblade Chronicles would be such a huge hit worldwide. So I guess it was only a matter of time for a remaster to arrive.
Melia: Yes and, thankfully, an extra 30% going to Alcamoth with each purchase of a copy.
BCDE: Wait, what?
Melia: Oh, I'm just teasing you. Hahah.
BCDE: Ah, you had me going there for a sec. Hahahahah.
Melia: It's actually 40%.
BCDE: Hahah, you got me again (BCDE looks at Melia, who has a straight face)...Right?
Riki-The "Legendary Heropon".
Riki: Oh! Riki very excited to be back!
BCDE: I figured you would be. Anything in particular you'd like to say?
Riki: Riki want to thank fany's for playing first game. If not, we not come to Switch-Switch!
BCDE: Fany's? Oh, you mean "fans".
Riki: That is what Riki say; Fany's!
BCDE: Hahah, ok then.
Riki: Now, to show appreciation, Riki brought familypon and whole village to tell everybody they very great!
BCDE: You what?!
Riki: Chief Dunga, we ready now! The door blasts open and a swarm of chattering Nopon barrel in.
BCDE: OH GOD! Video feed cuts out
Two hours later, the video feed returns.
BCDE: So, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. I think it's safe to assume that a lot of people are excited for May 29th. Xenoblade Chronicles is still going strong and doesn't seem like it's going to slow down anytime soon. What'll happen for the future? Will we get a third XC (numbered) game? I'd like to say that the future looks promising. Now then, be sure to keep an eye out for the release. I'm BlueCharlieDeltaEcho and remember:
BCDE, Shulk, Fiora, Reyn, Sharla, Dunban, Melia and Riki: WE'RE REALLY FEELING IT!
Fin
Authors note: Well, this is the oddest thing I've ever done. With the incoming release of Xenoblade Chronicles definitive edition and these currently hard times, I guess I just felt like doing something silly in hopes that I can make at least a few of you laugh. Will I do something like this again? I don't really know, this was more of a spur of the moment kind of thing. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be more than happy to hear them. Alright guys/girls, take care. :)
