Chapter 5

Emma and Snow were sucked into the hat a few days ago, Lily currently living with Granny's. David and Henry lived in the apartment. Regina was not allowed to be with Henry, and David had stopped the city people from leaving.

Lily's perspective ...

Lily had just finished eating when David and Rumpelstiltskin came in.

"Ruby, Lily! Have you seen a woman named Belle? "

David asked,

"Don't recognize the name"

said Ruby, as Lily shook her head, and looked down at the ground so Rumpelstiltskin would not recognize her.

"Ruby, if you know something, you have to say it. You can trust me. "

Said David.

"Yes, but he?"

Ruby said, glancing at The Dark One.

"I have him under control."

David said, and Lily rolled her eyes.

"She was here this morning, wondering about a place to stay, and a job. I suggested the library. "

Said Ruby in the end.

"Thanks."

David said, and he and Rumpelstiltskin were about to leave when Lily said.

"So you didn't learn last time."

David looked like a big question mark, Ruby turned with curiosity.

"And what was that?"

Rumpelstiltskin asked.

"A man unwilling to fight for what he wants, deserves what he gets"

Lily spit out the repeated words her father had said, many hundreds of years before, and before she was born.

"Ah ... it seems you didn't learn last time"

Rumpelstiltskin grinned as he realized who she was.

"How are you still alive? Is your father still alive, I should have taken you in the same slump »

Rumpelstiltskin glared at her.

Lily screamed, everyone in the cafe was watching her, and faster than she had ever been, she took the gun from David and pointed it at Rumpelstiltskin.

"Lily ?! What are you doing!?"

said David, afraid she would shoot if he came closer, but it didn't look as if they heard it.

"Don't blame me for your parents' mistakes, Dearie"

"MY PARENTS MISTAKES ?! You're dumber than I thought! "

shouted Lily.

"Don't blame me, as I said, not my choice!"

said The Dark One.

"NOT YOUR CHOICE ?! You sound like a dumpling! Was it my parents' choice that YOU crushed HER HEART !? NO! IT WAS YOUR CHOICE. COWARD!"

Lily screamed, her voice was louder now.

"What the hell is going on here?"

shouted Granny.

"I would like to know the same"

said David.

"YOU, YOU! Is still the coward that let her go, and not even fought for her! You're the coward who didn't fight right against my dad, HE WON! But you used magic so you swapped places! YOU are the coward that CRUSHED her heart as we watched! Just because she never loved YOU! Oh and as you probably know YOU, the coward who chose magic is over your son. "

Lily finished with a crying voice, a tightened hand, the desire to fire the gun.

"Lily! That is enough! Who now than this SHE is, she would like you to be like that? That your heart is darkening? "

David asked.

"My heart is already dark ...-"

She looked up at David.

"My Father's Heart Is DARK BECAUSE OF HIM!"

Screamed Lily.

"No. Your heart is not dark, it is light. If you had a dark heart you wouldn't have hesitated to fire that gun. "

Lily gasped for air, tears running down her cheek as she said.

"If my dad ever comes, you're dead in two seconds"

she said, falling to the floor. David hugged her and asked.

"Who is this SHE?"

"Let's go find Belle ..."

Lily said instead.
