The only thing I came up with is the Original Character`s back story and the way she`ll mess with Stephanie Meyer`s Plot. I based my Original Character`s looks on Olivia Wilde with brunette hair, except I made her a little shorter. She is a grade above Bella.

I`ve read many Jasper/OC fan fictions and I wanted to try writing one myself. I realized the characters wouldn`t do what I want unless I were to write a fic myself. I`ll try to keep this fic as original as possible, of course it`ll be following along side Bella`s and Edwards original story. If there are any similarities to other fics, I apologize; let me know nicely, I don`t approve of plagiarism. I don`t want to completely change the timeline and some scenes are must haves. The OC wont have too much of an impact on Bella or Edward till later. I wrote this to test and improve my writing ability.

This is a scene I wrote taking place after James beat up Bella and the OC at the ballet studio in Phoenix. Basically, the OC wakes up in the hospital and she has a cute conversation with Jasper. I really focused on dialogue techniques when writing this scene and I think I found my favorite way to write dialogue. It`s very short, a little over 900 words. I wrote this intending to combine it with my Beyond Ordinary fic when I catch up to this scene. The actual chapter that this scene would go in will much longer, probably over 9000 words, I love long chapters. I`m posting this to see if anyone would like me post the actual fic when I complete it. It`ll probably take a while to complete it though, since I`m a perfectionist. I edited and proofread this like 10 times, I`m super OCD. This written in third person limited POV. It`s in the OC`s, Audrey`s, perspective. Anyway, let me know what you think. Let me know if I missed anything regarding grammar and etc. I`ll accept constructive criticism; however, I wont acknowledge rude hateful comments. Lets be adults, please. This is Rated M. March 19th 2005 –

Audrey woke to the sound of an annoying beeping sound. She recognized that sound, a heart monitor. She struggled to open her eyes, all she could see is a burly white ceiling. I took her a while to blink her eyes into focus. She was confused for a few seconds before the memories of James attacking her and Bella flooded her mind. She listened to the damn heart monitor as it began to beep faster, her breaths becoming short. Where's Jasper? "Jasper!" She called out, voice cracking. He was by her side in an instant, her hand in his.

"I`m here." His voice soft.

Audrey tried to speak, but her voice was so hoarse. She wanted to know if Bella was okay. Next thing she knew, Jasper was supporting her head as he held a cup of water with a straw to her lips. She stared at him as she took sips through the straw. When her throat final was finally soothed, she turned her face away. Jasper laid her head back down and set the cup on the table next to her bed. Her face pinched in pain. Her entire right arm was throbbing and as she breathed, her left side hurt, too. Honestly, she felt like she was hit by a train.

Jasper pressed the button to beep a nurse. He didn`t seem like he was ready to speak to her yet. He looks so tense.

A nurse entered maybe three minutes later, an I.V. bag in hand. "Are you in pain?"

Jasper answered for her. "She is."

The nurse just nodded and hooked up a new bag of, Audrey assumed, morphine. Great, I`ll be high when I talk to Jasper.

The nurse turned and smiled at her, "That should help. If you need anything, press the call button." Audrey just nodded

The nurse left quietly.

"Jasper," she whispered.

Before she could continue, Jasper interrupted her.

"I`m sorry, Audrey... I failed you." He looked crushed. Why would he say that? He and his family saved her. Only that piece of shit James is to blame.

"No you didn`t." She gave him a firm look. "You and your family made it just in time. The only one to blame is that piece of shit, James."

Jasper looked confused, like he couldn`t believe she didn't blame him. God he`s such a thick headed idiot. "But you wouldn`t be in this state if I didn`t get involved with you. If I knew you were to be tortured by James I would`ve stayed away from you from the beginning." He rambled on.

Audrey was taken aback. "How could you have known James and his red BITCH would turn up while you were playing baseball with your family?" Audrey felt dread pool in her stomach. "Do you regret being with me?" Her eyes started to burn. Will he leave me cause I`m weak?

Jasper looked at her shocked, eyebrows furrowing. "No… Every second of every moment I spend with you is precious. I`m sorry, even though you were hurt so badly, I can`t regret staying with you. I just wish I was able to reach you before he hurt you." He looked down. "But, this can`t happen again. Finding you looking so broken… I didn`t know if you`d live. The thought of you dying… I wouldn`t survive if you died, Audrey."

"Stop apologizing for loving me, it makes my heart ache!" She couldn`t help, but raise her voice. "And I didn't die!" "This can`t happen again," he said. She didn`t like the sound of that. Audrey`s eye`s widened in panic, her heart monitor sped up again. "You`re not planning to leave me, are you?" her voice trembled. Jasper snapped his head up, his wide eyes finding hers. "You can`t leave! If you do I`ll never forgive you! You promised me forever!" She shouted as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"No!" she startled at his raised voice. Jasper was at her side again. He looked shaken up as he sat in the chair next to her hospital bed. "I`ll never leave your side again," he assured.

Audrey sniffled. "You promise?" she eyed him suspiciously.

He nodded. "I promise." He took her hand in his, looking at her like she was his whole universe.

"Forever?"

Jasper brought her hand to his lips. "Yes, forever."

"Pinky Promise?"

Jasper closed his eyes as he dropped his forehead to her hand. "Yes."

She could feel the pain medication starting to kick in, making her a bit loopy. "You can`t break your promise, especially a pinky promise, if you do I`ll never forgive you," Audrey babbled.

Jasper smiled. "I know." He gazed into her eyes again. "You should rest, sleep." He noticed her eyes drooping.

"You'll be here when I wake up?" she mumbled.

"Yes, I won't leave your side, no matter what." Jasper kissed her hand again.

"You promise?"

"Yes, I promise." His voice soft.

"Pinky promise?" She could feel exhaustion creeping up on her, thoughts not quite coherent anymore.

Jasper smirked. "Pinky promise."

She continued to babble even after her eyes were closed. "You know you can`t break a pinky promise. If you do, I`ll punish you. I`ll NEVER have sex with you EVER again. NEVER-EVER, you understand?"

She heard him chuckle. "I know. And yes, of course. I promise my very being to you, I shall never leave you," he reassured, gently.

"I love you," she whispered.

"I love you, too." She felt his lips against her hand, again. She smiled as she drifted to dreamland. Dreams of her and Jasper getting married, making love on a beach, both running through the forest with golden eyes, and a child with Jasper's hair and her blue eyes.
