Epilogue
She could see into all of time and space. She had the power to do anything she wanted and that was good. She had a plan to say thank you to everyone who had helped her and that was what she wanted to do next.
"I bring life." she announced, as her gratitude was announced to the universe.
Elsewhere on the Game Station, a soldier out of time woke up with a gasp. He remembered dying but didn't know how he could have survived that. He would find out one day. He was an immortal now and that was good.
On Earth, sometime in the distant past, a skeletal hand rose up from under Lauren Dunbar's gravestone and began to glow with golden energy, eventually turning into a human hand. The rest of Lauren Dunbar heaved herself up out of the grave and dusted herself off. She then realised she had soil in her throat and coughed it out onto the nearby grass.
"Thank you Doctor." she said, looking up at the sky, and walked off, ready to have a new life and ready for whatever adventures were coming next.
