Why?
Why?!
WHY?!
Annabeth was in her bathroom hitting the walls with a murderous glint in her eyes. Every time she got mad, the wall had to pay for it. Thalia, BANG, Percy, BANG, Nico, BANG! She didn't stop there. For she had lived a taxing life. She was FED UP! Then it just came to, PERCY, BANG, PERCY,- A.N HAHAHHAHAHA Bang Percy, get it?
"Annabeth! Is something wrong? We heard banging! Or something."
With a stone-cold expression on, Annabeth managed to make her voice sound sickly sweet.
"No! Of course not! I'm all fine in here!"
Thalia didn't stop there.
"Are you sure? Not something wrong with um...your bowel?"
Annabeth reddened. She stopped abusing the walls and sat on the toilet lid. She didn't even try to make her voice sound sweet. She let it all out.
"I can't believe you! You make me invite him, AND THEN YOU LET HIM STAY LONGER?"
Thalia let herself into the bathroom, closed the door, and pulled up the stool that Annabeth always keeps beside her shower. She sat next to Annabeth.
"Ok, I know how bad he is, but he acts that way for a reason. He's not that bad in real life!" Annabeth cursed herself for forgetting to lock the door. Annabeth walked out the door and into her bedroom.
"I don't care! If he isn't that bad, don't have him be such a pain! If he likes me, don't have him be like that!"
"He likes everybody! It's just, he has a hard time conveying it. He's a sweet kid, but he has a difficult life." Annabeth was glad Thalia didn't catch which like she meant.
"What kind of life?" Thalia was about to tell her, but shut up.
"It's not my place to tell you. So if you could respect his privacy, that would be nice." She got up and grabbed her purse and duffle bag filled with her PJs. Annabeth stalked her.
"Tell me! I'm your best friend, right? Why can't you tell me one thing?" Annabeth didn't know why she kept pestering her, but she couldn't help it.
Thalia got red in the face. "Yeah, Annabeth. I thought we were. And if we are, I WANT YOU TO RESPECT MY PRIVACY!" She stormed off with her head high up in the air, aloofness radiating off up her. Annabeth felt terrible as she witnessed Thalia storm out the door and to Percy's house. She spent the next week sulking.
Why?
Why?!
WHY?!
When spring break ended, she was glad to head back to school. Her stepmom and her dad was surprised, and so was she. Because she was smart didn't mean she liked school. Quite the opposite really. Either the teachers expected too much or too little out of her. Annabeth, can you do this equation that only people invested in the subject can do, and only after a few hours? Or, Annabeth, can you do this simple problem that you are WAY too advanced for? The only class she liked was
Greek. Mr. Brunner challenged her just enough. She was sitting in class one day, and then none other than Percy Jackson waltzed in. Mr. Brunner smiled warmly at him.
"Ah, Mr. Jackson! Please take a seat…" He scanned the room, looking for an empty seat. Every single one was full, and only because Mr. Brunner was there. As Mr. Brunner studied the room, Annabeth realized-the only seat open was the one next to her.
"Annabeth!" She let out a squeak. She buried her head in her golden locks, making sure that no one was able to see her red face. "Scared, Annie?" She shot Percy a death glare from underneath her hair, but he seemed unfazed by it. He smirked.
"Try harder. I'm cousins with Thalia, remember? If I recall, she's the one that taught you that little trick." She cursed. Then she frowned. "How do you know that?" Percy shrugged and sat down. As soon as he was going to answer, Mr. Brunner interrupted.
"Ms. Chase and Mr. Jackson, if you have something to say, please do it in greek. That would be a good warmup." Percy shrugged. "
Ήρθε στο σπίτι μου και άρχισε να χύνει τα έντερα της. Την έκανες πραγματικά." ~A.N that means, "She came to my house and started spilling her guts. You really made her mad." You're welcome~
Annabeth crossed her arms. She didn't have time to argue anyway.
After Greek, she checked up her schedule. Every semester, her school changed them. She and Thalia got most of the same classes.

Annabeth sighed. She shouldn't have taken 3 electives. It was 3:30 now, and she just finished Wood Shop. She was heading to Thalias, hoping that she would forgive her. She got home and layed on her bed, savoring the softness. She got up and called Thalia. "Yes?" Annbeth took a deep breath.
"Thalia I know this isn't a thing that I normally do, but I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry-" She heard a laugh from the phone.
"Annie, I'm not mad. Wanna facetime?" Annabeth was so relieved you could have told her to jump off a cliff, and she would have said yes.
"Yeah! Of course!"
As they switched, Annabeth saw that Thalia was laying on a blue blanket. She hated blue. Annabeth frowned. "Where are you?" Thalia glanced behind her. Nico was there, and another familiar face was coming out of the bathroom. He didn't have a shirt on. Thalia groaned.
"Nico, I don't want to see that! Give him back his shirt!" Nico laughed and tossed the shirt back to Percy. He snatched it and pulled it on. Thalia turned back to her phone to see Annabeth's red face. Percy smirked. "Like what you see?" He teased her. Annabeth looked out the window to Percy's house. The window had no curtains so she was able to see into it. Annabeth sighed as she knew this was going to be a long call.
