Hello ! Welcome to my first AU story ! I felt I should ease into things, I saw a very interesting story based on the writer actually heading into the Dragon Ball Universe and it inspired me to give it a shot in the same way. I hope you all enjoy !

Chapter 1: An Unlikely Scenario

I couldnt believe what I was staring at, one moment I was reading my dragon ball z manga series, then in a flash of white blinding light I was sitting in a wide open field.

"H-hello?" I called out looking left to right still trying to gain my senses. Nothing but the wind replied back to me, I stood up to investigate my surroundings,

"Hiiii!" A figure appears in front of me almost making me jump out of my skin.

"Oh sorry for startling you there haha, I'm just so excited at the possibilities that you'll be making very soon!"

"Im sorry, w-what ?" I manage to blurt out amongst my confusion.

"Oh right right, I need to explain. Well my name is Fu and basically I love seeing the changes in history !" He stares at me eagerly waiting for a reply.

I had so many questions rushing through my head but I blurted out the question that really got to me.

"Y-your not real, your just ink on paper...how am I speaking to you ?" I barely could speak at this point.

"Huh, that's super interesting, y'know I did see this one timeline where most of the universe was based around a card game was pretty cool, played it a couple times myself but ehhh after the time patrol fixed it up it wasn't nearly as cool" Fu stated almost jumping on the spot.

"Listen don't worry about where you are now, I've chosen you for 2 reasons." Fu raises his balled fist and points one finger up "You know this history and can meet everyone in the flesh". Fu raises a second finger "I'd love to see what effects it has on history with you being one step ahead !" Fu starts fidgeting barely containing his excitement.

I open my mouth to speak but before I can say anything Fu cuts me off "Look, we can waste time with idle chit chat or we can cut straight to the point. I will be putting you on earth 3 days before Raditz arrives, it's your choice who you want to help but I'm nice, I know you'll want to fight along side or heck maybe even against some certain people so I'll let you choose the race you want to be"

I look at Fu bewildered my head starting to hurt from over thinking "M-my r-race ?"

"Yeah ! You can be a Saiyan or maybe a Namekian, if you're feeling daring maybe stay earthling ? Maybe even the Same race as Freeza ? Ooooohhhh the possibilities are so exciting !!! But you better pick quickly before I just choose one for you !"

I can't believe what I'm hearing not only am I in the dragon ball universe I have Fu here telling me I can be any race while I'm here ?

How about the other option of sending me home ?

I wish I could just stand up to Fu but my fear of knowing what he could do to me rushes into my brain.

But also the feeling of curiosity is there telling me to push forward take the leap.

I could be in a coma this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I might as well make the most of it.

I slowly weigh my options, Namekians can regenerate limbs but can't really gain more strength without fusing with other namekians unlike Saiyans who not only have so many different transformations but also have their zenkais. I wouldn't even think of being part of freeza's race not only would it cause suspicion, but it's basically painting a giant red x on me. Cmon times ticking if Fu is anything like he was in Heroes or Xenoverse he's antsy and won't wait long.

"Hurry up, I don't have all day I'll pick for yo-" I immediately cut him off before he can finish his sentence "Okay, okay I've decided I will be a..."

Right now I am undecided on what race will be picked but I do expect to write up until the end of Z at least.
