Sam didn't speak on the car ride back to Blaine's house. All Blaine could think was, why did he push Sam to tell his parents. He glanced over at Sam to see him looking out the window and crying. He reached one of his hands over and rubbed his shoulder. Sam turned to look at Blaine and grabbed his hand. They held each other the rest of the way to Sam's new home.

As soon as they got back, Sam laid down on the couch and just laid there, not speaking. Blaine wanted to do something nice for him. He was going to go to the store and buy all of Sam's favorite foods to hopefully cheer him up a little bit. Blaine told Sam of his plan and just the idea of it seemed to lift his spirits ever so slightly.

As soon as Blaine left, Sam let it all out. Before Blaine got back, his mom came back and walked in to see Sam lying on the couch crying. She was used to Sam being in their house but never without Blaine.

"Oh, honey, are you ok? What's wrong? Where's Blaine?" she asked, dropping her stuff in the kitchen and sitting beside him.

"No… I'm ok… Blaine's at the store," Sam muttered, not wanting to get into the details without Blaine there. "I'm just gonna go." He didn't know where he would go, maybe to Tina's house, but he didn't want to be a burden.

"You're clearly not okay, Sam, and if you don't want to talk about it, that's fine but please just stay here until Blaine gets back, okay? We'll sort everything out then."

Sam wished his mom would have been as accepting as Ms. Anderson was when Blaine came out. Needing a mother's hug, he collapsed into her arms.

Just then Blaine arrived back home to find his mom and Sam hugging while he cried into her shoulder. She had just left for her business trip in France the day before and she wasn't expected to return for another week, and Blaine had yet to tell her of Sam's new living situation.

Upon hearing the click of the door shutting, Sam looked up at Blaine and motioned him over. Blaine put the groceries down, digging through the bag until he found Sam's all time favorite food, oreo brownies. He brought the box over and sat down on the other side of Sam.

"What's going on here you guys?"

"Well, mom, if it's okay with you, Sam is going to be living here now. His parents kicked him out when he told them he was bi and he is my best friend." Most of Sam's tears had subsided by then and he was nodding along.

"Oh, honey, I'm so sorry. Of course you can stay here." Sam gave her and Blaine a quick hug before diving into the oreo brownies. "I have to get back to my trip, I had to turn around because I forgot my passport, but," she turned to look at Sam, "it's going to be okay, your parents will come around eventually, and until they do, this is your new home." She grabbed her passport and her bags and headed out the door.

"Well that went well!" Sam exclaimed as they dove into the insane amount of food that Blaine had bought at the store. Blaine's mom's reaction, the food, and Blaine all made him feel better. By the time they finished what they could of the food, they were laughing about some dumb star wars thing or a comic book.

"Welcome home roomie! Let's get you unpacked. I'll clear some drawers in the dresser for you." Blaine said as they headed into the bedroom.

"Top or bottom?" Blaine asked; Sam was turned away, crouched over his bag.

"What? I guess we're getting into that already." Blaine looked confused for a moment but then began laughing as soon as he realized what Sam had meant.

"No dumbass, I'm talking about the dresser, do you want the top drawers or the bottom drawers?"

"I guess I'll take top… for both," he added with a smirk. Blaine just smiled and shook his head. He began condensing his drawers to leave some for Sam at the top.
