RECAP
Sent to discover the origin of a mysterious distress call, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano are stranded on a distant planet. There, they discover three beings more powerful with the Force than any Jedi have seen before.

The Father who keeps a fragile balance between his Daughter, who allies with the light side, and the Son, who allies with the dark side.

With his strength failing, the Father asks Anakin to stay and take his place, preserving the balance between light and dark. But after passing a perilous test, Skywalker refuses. Choosing to head for home instead.

However, before the Jedi could leave Mortis, the Son took Ahsoka captive in an attempt to entice Anakin into joining him to use their combined strength to overpower his Father and Sister. Unfortunately for the Son things would not play out as he had hoped…

PROLOGUE

"You cannot keep me here!" Ahsoka shouted restrained in an empty room surrounded by darkness that poisons the air, the only light source coming above through the ceiling with an unknown design, and reddish-orange lights lining sections of the wall, giving off a feeling of dread and despair.

"Save your energy, you have been left to die." The Son spoke, entering the room, standing tall and sinisterly in the showdowns of the doorway, the red glow of his eyes illuminating his face.

"Then I will escape," Ahsoka said reassuringly.

"Impossible" the Son chuckles. "I have been here for more years than I care to remember, locked away by Father."

"I am a Jedi, we don't give up easily," Ahsoka replied calmly, as the Son begins pacing around her in the room.

"Hardly, you are flawed in many ways, why I was able to board your ship and subdue you without even a fight. Your master has failed you as a teacher, speaking of…" the Son paused for a moment "Where is your master?"

"He will come for me," Ahsoka spoke with doubt now seeded in her words.

"And if he does not?" The Son whispered in her ear.

"He will!" Ahsoka replied.

"What makes you so sure? You have failed him after all." The Son said with confidence in his voice.

Ahsoka remained silent in response. The Son now undoing her chains and releasing her restraints.

"Thank you," Ahsoka said softly, holding her now free wrists in response to him, freeing her from the restraints that were pulling on her.

"The chains are the easy part, it's what goes on in here that's hard." The Son gesturing to the heart. "Don't you see child? You are alone now." The Son whispered into her left ear. "If you are to survive you must forget your master."

Groaning softly and weak, Ahsoka responded: "I don't think I understand…" Unknowing to Ahsoka the darkness in the air was affecting her mind and way of thinking. Lowering her guard and allowing the Son to probe further.

"Your master betrayed you. Left you here to die, and now wishes to kill me. Not befitting of the Jedi way now is it." The Son spoke softly.

"No… my master would never…" Ahsoka said weaker than ever, falling back into the arms of the Son.

"Let me show you his true nature then! Let me show you the future!" He shouts as he puts his hand on Ahsoka's forehead. Suddenly Ahsoka's mind floods with vivid visions of the future, from the betrayal of the Jedi council surrendering her to the republic for a terroristic attack, she never committed, to Anakin slaying a settlement for his mother's death, Anakin's violation of the Jedi code with Padme, but most importantly, Order 66 and Anakin embracing the dark side then slaughtering the Jedi younglings, becoming Darth Vader.

"NOOOOOOOO!" Ahsoka shouted jolting out of her visions and falling onto one knee confused and distraught from what she had just seen. It couldn't be? Anakin sith? Breaking the Jedi code? Never telling her about Padme? The Jedi council expelling her?!

"Join me, and together we can take care of your former master Anakin Skywalker." The Son said reaching his hand out to her. Ahsoka slowly reaches her hand up and resting it in his. "Yes master I pledge my loyalty to you, and you alone," Ahsoka said with hate-filled in her voice.

"Excellent my pet, now rise and accept my gift." Ahsoka stood up, arm still in his hand. The Son then pulled her arm in close, then viciously bit down on it. Ahsoka collapsed onto the ground, the pain knocking her out of a trance the son had placed on her with the visions. "What have you done?!" Ahsoka shouted before suddenly dark purple veins began appearing all over her body, corrupting her mind and soul forever to the dark side. She squinted her eyes closed from the pain, and when they reopened they were stained a deep and sinister yellow.

"You are mine now." The Son said.

One Hour Later, atop the tower Ahsoka had just recently been held prisoner in. Ahsoka sits patiently awaiting her former master's arrival.

"Ahsoka. Ahsoka!" Anakin said frantically quickly approaching her from behind. "It's me, your safe now let's go." He adds slowing down as he sensed something wasn't right.

"Are you proud… of me?" Ahsoka replied, still facing awake from with her eyes closed.

"What?" he coughed "Of course snips, course I'm proud of you, now let's get out of here," Anakin said dismissively.

Ahsoka opened her rage-filled eyes "He's right. Right about everything." She turned around to face Anakin, revealing her yellow eyes and corrupted body with purple veins infesting it.

"Hey… what's wrong with you?" Anakin said concerned for his Padawan.

"Always with the criticism master, never really believing in me, trusting me, well I don't need you anymore. I have a new master now Anakin." Ahsoka said joyfully, the words hitting Anakin harshly.

"Ahsoka, Ahsoka listen to me Ahsoka, he has done something to you, snap out of it!" Anakin desperately declares.

"You should have joined him, you still can, and he wanted me to tell you this," Ahsoka tone suddenly shifts from serious to joyful "If you don't join him, he will kill me haha!"

"This isn't you Ahsoka!" Anakin said desperately hoping to convince her of the truth.

"Isn't it?! I feel more like myself than I ever have!" She said joyfully with an odd sense of dread behind her voice as she turned away, rubbing her hands down her face and body, naturally transitioning into grabbing her sabers as she stretches her arms to the side, each saber now in hand, her demeanor suddenly changing to a fully dreadful deathly tone as she grinned over her shoulder to her former master. "You should have joined him. Now you must kill me, before. I. Kill. You." Each word coming out with a rasp in her voice sending chills down Anakin's spine.

With a giant leap high into the air Ahsoka comes crashing down with a massive duel overhead strike, forcing Anakin to block it with all his defense, and causing the concrete under his feet to crack from the sheer power of the strike. Of course, Anakin would only block during the on slot of attacks from Ahsoka and using the force to push her away when an opening would prevent itself, all in the effort to not accidentally hurt his Padawan.

Suddenly, Obi-Wan Kenobi appears running in to aid Anakin, "Two Jedi, Finally a Challenge-" Ahsoka stopped, noting the hilt of a magical sword on Kenobi's side. Immediately she knew what it was as if the Son's knowledge of the weapon was her own. It was the Dagger of Mortis, the only weapon capable of killing the living embodiments of the force, the Daughter who represents the light, the Son who represents the dark, and the Father who represents the balance.

Ahsoka rushed them "Uggg! Where did you get that!" Ahsoka shouted as she attacked each of them with her sabers forcing them to focus their attention on her sabers. "Give it to me!" She shouted once more with a sudden flick of her hand tossing Anakin to the side, knocking him on the ground and ripping the Dagger cleanly away from Kenobi. Then jumping back far from reach. "Dammit, Anakin we need that dagger it can kill the Son-" suddenly both the Son and Daughter come crashing through the Throne room, the glass above that was overlooking the courtyard atop the tower they had been fighting on. Then from the glass, the father came levitating through and landed gracefully on the other side of the courtyard. Everyone froze at that moment, unsure of what would happen next.

"You will stop this!" The father declared.

"You are too weak for me, old man." The Son stated, as he blasted two bolts of red force lightning at his father who tried desperately to block it, Ahsoka smirked in amusement. The Father's defenses suddenly breaking, knocking him back, and now taking the full force of the red force lightning.

Ahsoka sprints over to the Son holding the dagger in hand, briefly, she stops and looks back to her former master with a smirk on her face.

"Everything has transpired exactly as I had planned." The Son said looking over everyone in the courtyard except his father who was beaten behind him unable to get up due to his now weakened state.

"You showed them the Altar of Mortis and allowed them the dagger?" the father barley said with a heavy breath.

"I'm sorry father, it was the only way I knew how to stop him..." the Daughter said, as Kenobi helped her to her feet as they look on in horror for the Son had seemingly won.

"Give it to me child." The Son said to Ahsoka as dread filled the air. Ahsoka slowly raises her hand as she was about to hand it off to him, but something compelled her to look back at her old master one last time as she knew her usefulness was at its end.

"No... Snips..." Anakin said softly to Ahsoka, he could feel the fate the Son had planned for her next. "Snips?" Ahsoka froze, happy memories of her time alongside Anakin began to rush through her once more if even only for a moment. But that moment was long enough. For that short instant Ahsoka was Ahsoka again, and with a valiant scream suddenly shoved the dagger into the heart of the Son catching him off guard, as he fell to the ground now dying from the very person he created.

"I'm sorry master..." Ahsoka said to Anakin looking at him one last time with her blue eyes before the darkness took over once more, eyes yellow as can be.

The now dark Ahsoka looked down at the Son confused as to what she had done, shocked she could ever do such a thing to her master. Then it was as if she was free, she was no longer held down by him she realized, and she was the one in control now. So she acted accordingly, the still dying Son before her so full of power, what if she could have that power for herself she thought. With the lifting of her hand and the appropriate gesture to do so, she lifted the Son into the air back-arching she began to suck the life essences from him and absorb it into herself. Then suddenly with a bright light, the Son's body was gone, his clothes and the dagger were all that remained.

Ahsoka opened her eyes and looked at the Father, what he saw looking back was pure horror, Ahsoka's eyes now dawned two deep blood red Irises, black pupils, and pitch-black Sclera.

Anakin and Kenobi hopelessly try to rush Ahsoka now realizing the threat she is, to the galaxy at large, with a swipe of her palm, however, Anakin and Kenobi are sent flying back, being knocked unconscious instantaneously. Ahsoka turns and faces the weak and injured father, with killing intent who continues to fail at getting on his feet, with one quick thrust of the dagger, however, the father was impaled.

"Nooooo!" The Daughter shouted in dread running toward him in an attempt to avenge him, however, with one yank pulled the blade from the Father and slash toward the Daughter she too would fall by Ahsoka's hands. In doing so, she destroyed the balance and slaughtered the light.

Lifting the dying entities into the air, she began sucking their life essence and absorbing them into herself much as she did with the Son. Corrupting the essence as she did it.

"Infinite Power!" Ahsoka shouted maniacally, filling the air around her with dread and darkness as no one had ever felt before. Her skin had turned a deep gray and her facial markings red. Just how powerful was she? She wondered.

She grabbed her sabers, and when she did a heart-wrenching scream of pure agony could be heard, as of someone was slowly being torched torn apart limb by limb, cell by cell through soul and mind. It didn't take long for Ahsoka to realize what was causing it. For it was her sabers themselves, more accurately the crystals inside of her saber. The screaming never stopped, not even for a second, a normal person's eyes and ears would bleed out if they heard this, but Ahsoka was no longer a normal person.

She activated the blades, and what she saw shocked her. The core of the blade was pitch black and could not be seen through. No light came off of it, and the glow, the color of the blade itself was also black. It was like holding two black holes as no light could pass through the darkness of her blades, and when the blade was brought close to a surface, where a blade would normally light up, it casts shadows instead, spreading darkness instead of light.

It was at this moment Ahsoka knew what she had truly become, she had truly indeed become the Dark.
