Geronimo
The hobbit and Lord of the Rings world with an OC and pairing is Thorin x OC, I own nothing than my character and I also put these events starting long before the events of the hobbit. I own nothing sorry if there are spelling mistakes this is rated M.
-Chapter 1- Geronimo is a go
I stood up not knowing what happened and looked all around me, I was surrounded by tree's, but they were leafless, and the ground was littered in twigs, small rocks and fog was ankle deep. The sky was lit up with stars and the moon was half full, I could feel the chill from the slight breeze. "Well this was not what I was expecting," I turned when I heard scattering and branch breakages, once I looked up I noticed white something in the tree, at a closer look I noticed it was webs, and they were big, "oh god I hate spiders." I heard a clicking clatter, I turned to see boubous black eyes and large fangs, I haltered when I realized that it was the size of a large dog, it hissed, I jumped back and realized more were in the little area. They made large thump sounds as they landed on the ground, I also saw movement up in the tree tops, it was all still, none of the arachnids moved same with me, and it was like we were waiting for the bell to ring to start of the chase. As the clouds covered the moon causing the entire forest to go dark that was the que as I dashed off, behind me I could hear them; they were fast considering their size.
-24 hours prior-
"Agent Amira Hawley report to lab room 2 for prep of Geronimo" the young soldier popped his head into my room; I looked up from my laid-back seat and nodded. I got up and went to said room. The halls were all white with lino flooring and white florescent lights overhead, the building was named Quinn Corp a corporation that would 'bring the future to now.' I had been with them for over fifty years, as Quinn Corp also works with the military I was brought in as a near dead patient, I am the only cyborg so far created, advanced by a serum found in a commit on earth that landed 65 years ago. Quinn Corp saved my life; however, I do not age, and I have advanced software systems and work more like a computer. Less than 10% of my body was now human. I sighed as I walked into lab room 2 "hey Hawley, ready for your prep?" the young lab director and her helping hand John were very familiar with me and my 'body' "you know it."
I removed my clothes leaving me in my underwear and bra, I laid down on the chair that moved into a laying position, "come on Jenny let's get this over and done with, Geronimo aint going to wait forever." Jenny was 29 she had straight blonde hair and blue eyes, she was so pretty and curvy that one would guess her occupation would be a model not a scientific director to a multi-billion corporation. "Yes, yes," she said as she took a seat in a stool with wheels, she was next to me as she pulled out a serum it was blue and used to maximize performance, it was like a Panadol mixed with adrenaline, it also allowed interfacing aka let the people here see what I see. "I will start the system diagnostics next," John said, he was tall with round rim glasses, he was skinny and young, and he had a head of short curly black locks and was awkwardly cute.
I closed my eyes, I could see all my system checks coming up, my body being made of a metal- like item and the serum able to re-create all that I had lost, it worked with the metal making me a bio mechanical software cyborg, able to jump and run faster than a cheetah and ram through metal like a rhino. I was able to connect to data links and outlets collect info, input info, and even create viruses and set of security systems, I am an agent. I can go undercover for long periods of time, I was the only immortal human on this planet, and whatever they made me was not natural. "Have you finished going over the systems?" "ah-yeah agent all done," John responded, "oh I wonder what or where it will lead too, the probes and equipment we sent either came back damaged or not at all, meaning something dangerous is on the other side, but I like to think that maybe the place it goes too is just wild" I looked at the dreamy look on Jenny's face.
"Right so I say that there is something deadly on the other side no doubt about it and that is the whole reason why I had to come back in just for this mission, that's how you know something on the other side may need killing." I smiled at her look of desperation "oh but please try to bring back as many samples and even a live specimen if you can," I rolled my eyes at her "don't worry you should at least be able to see everything I see and I will bring you back a present from my travels." I smiled to her, but I noticed slight worry "yeah that would be cool, just remember nothing is worth your life," I scoffed "nothing can expire my life you mean." We laughed together after all my systems were set to combat field, "oh before I forget I made you something special," She picked up a controller and pressed a button directing it to the far wall on my right.
I looked over seeing the walls open up, there sat a new suit, shoes and weapons, "oh no way, a new suit and weapons, you know I think if Quinn Corp didn't have you two here then they might end up failing and going bankrupt." The two stood one on each side of me as I looked over the leather pants; and long-sleeved top, the shoes were black and had no heel, they looked like cattle or horse feet, it was bizarre to me, and it was all black. However, I picked up the twin .50 desert eagles, they were uniquely beautiful with the company logo on it of a Lotus in a circle, there were also throwing and combat knives and blades. I also noticed a large black box; I scanned it with my eyes it was made from the same metal like material I was. "Yeah I think that the world would go back into the dark ages without us…" Jenny said followed by John saying "yeah no military power…" then Jenny jumped in and they continued back and forth with the sentence. "Or medicine," "or space travel," "or futuristic advancement of weapons and now Geronimo, where do you think it leads?" "To the future, or the past, maybe an alternate dimension, possibly a new world or one in our star system?"
"Okay, okay dam yous two toot your horns, but still we will find out shortly…once yous finish outfitting me and downloading all the new tech you have for me and we pass the field trial, what do yous say we get too it? Besides, I want to see what this is." I walked over to the strange black box that intrigued me, "oh that, its wait for it… a sniper rifle, but not just any sniper…" I nodded my head "yeah you're right, it's made from the same thing I am, just how much of this material from that commit do yous have?" "That's confidential even to you Hawley however I think you will have fun with her, her name is "Pandora" "Obsidian" both John and Jenny spoke at the same time, I smirked as they began to argue over the name.
I slid on the pants, then the top, I buckled up the belt and the case holder for Pandora; the box sniper was so heavy on my back that it required a full harness that buckled to my upper body and the sniper slid into the metal case box harness holder, with a large sharp metallic sound it was situated on my back. It was so heavy that it even made me nearly fall backwards, I rolled my shoulders getting use to the extra weight, "wow she is heavy," I bent over, laid down and used a push up to get up and even squatted so I could realign my own adjustments. "We can do adjustments during the trial and also see how you go with using it; we will debrief you shortly once you're done getting dressed." I continued strapping and buckling up the holders for the .50 desert eagles on my thighs one on each side, I took notice of the silencers and slipped them into the pouches available on my belt and the leather pants I had on. I slipped my feet into the shoes, I noticed on the soles was a gold horse shoe and two round bits put into it, when I took notice of it John spoke up, "oh they allow for shock absorption and grip, they look uncomfortable but you will notice they should be easier to walk in then your regular boots." I lifted my eyebrow to him "should be, I find that doubtful," Jenny jumped in "oh Hawley you should have learnt by now to not doubt us so much," I listened as I zipped up the strange cow shoes and then added a knife holder on my ankle, I then slipped the other blades into place.
"Well I decided I am calling them cow shoes," "What! No, you are not, we are calling them Heles" "Achilles" Jenny gave John a pointed look as he simply stated "what?" she sighed, I smiled at them seriously you would think that they were boyfriend and girlfriend in a comedic show. "Well I will be using them, so I say cow shoes" I placed the small packets and swab like items for collecting data and samples. I placed on the wrist gauntlets, really they held extra-large sniper bullets, I was sure they were for Pandora and then I pulled on the black leather gloves that button up at the wrist, they were short not rubbing up against the wrist cuff bullet holders, 'man we really need to get names for everything and easy ones,' I thought.
I turned to the two still arguing about names for the items, I cleared my throat grabbing their attention once they looked to me Jenny had a large smile creep upon her face and excitement bloom in her person with a high pitch squeal and a small bouncy jump she said "you look freaking awesome!" John smiled at his bosses words "gotta agree with the boss on this one, you look ready to bring upon Armageddon," both us ladies looked to him "wow that got dark quick," he lifted his hands "what like Skynet you know like on terminator, only cooler." Jenny scoffed and walked over to me, "come on, lets load you up with that data," I went over and was too happy to sit down, there wasn't many things that were so heavy that it caused me issue's but Pandora was proving to be that one thing.
We slid the auxiliary cord into a socket underneath my skin, it could not be seen, and it did not hurt, but John always stated it looked painful and disturbing, and I always smiled watching him cringe or look away when we put it in. John tapped away on the keyboard, they were to upload all the information on the things I was using and wearing, and then I would trial fight with them to see that I could work well with them, I had all the information about the mission already and I had all combat and bucket loads of information stored within me at all times, that included how to make things, speak every language advance science and mathematics however I preferred to leave the geeks in the lab to create and me in the field to kill and carry out missions. However this mission was not like any other that I had done before, it was going through a portal that Quinn Corp had created, it was again made from a floating asteroid in space and it was used to create a machine called Geronimo, originally they made it to jump forward or back in time, but once completed they had no idea where it led to, so that's why I was brought in, nothing could kill me, I had instant regeneration, even if I am beheaded.
I received and ran all the information and then saved it once I went through it all, they were right the weapon was amazing it was a mecha-shifting sniper rifle that utilized high amounts of electrical currents to maximize speed and blast radius. I could not wait to try it myself; I wonder what the kick back was going to be like. I noticed Jenny giving me an excited look "I love it when you received all the information, you always seem so blown away," I smiled to her reaction, "well that's because I am, dam you guys Pandora is sick as hell, I want to start field testing right now." Both looked down at their feet "about that, you see Pandora is one of a kind like you, and no one can use it but you so we never got to…" Jenny was talking like she was trying to let me down easy after a bad date, "we are unable to field test it prior so we have no clue if it works or not," John finished in a scientific voice, "yeah that," Jenny added lamely, I smiled "well let's get the testing going, I'm sure it will work just fine after all you two made it."
"Aww your confidence in us is heartfelt, really" Jenny said with her hands clasped to her chest "yeah just know that the ammo for Pandora is like freaking hard to make and is time consuming so there is only 6 bullets for it, those are located on your wrist, three on each." "Yeah so in this trial only test one, if it works then it leaves you five when you go on your mission," John jumped in "we are in the process of creating more ammo but don't hold your breath." I smiled "don't worry first I will need to test this and then complete the mission, then we can go more into all of the other inventions you two spend 24/7 making," it was sad that neither of them denied to not having a social life truly they were married to their job.
I stood in the wilderness, we were lucky that Quinn Corp was so rich as we had all the land for testing said weaponry, before I had started, I tweaked my own systems so I could move easier in the testing. I mapped the area out and used my infrared to see that the area was clear to which it was there was a few birds flying about and small forest critters in the woods on the land, but nothing like people or deer, wolves, or bears. I placed my hand underneath the metal carrier bottom that Pandora sat in, it instantly opened releasing it into one of my hands to catch, it was difficult, but I caught it and brought it up to my right side. I lay down on my tummy as it shifted to a giant solid black sniper rifle, I was 5 foot 6 and I was sure that it was longer than me, it was incredibly heavy too. I noticed the place I would use to manually load each bullet into, it only took one at a time, I pulled back the rotation slide and slid one bullet in, they were large bullets expanding my forearm I slid one in, and as I looked through the scope I could see it optimized to my own vision. I had night, infrared, x-ray, scope vision and auto biotic scanning system lenses, I could hear the gun firing up, the downside to such a powerful weapon was the fact that it needed to build its power up to fire, which took time.
It sounded like large electric turbines building up speed, which defeated the purpose of it being a sniper to begin with, but I could deal with it for the time being, it made a beeping sound and I could see all systems were go. The gun itself shined up red like lava and it was increasingly hot, begging to be fired, I pulled the trigger, the large mountain was all but gone, no more forest, the entire area ahead of me looked like a crash site from an asteroid, but at that moment I was focused on the pain in my broken collar bone, and shattered shoulder, I thought it would just pop it out of place but apparently I was wishing for too much. 'Pain receptors off' I felt all the metal like bone material meld back together in its proper place, I pulled back the leaver for more ammo to be put in. After being shot the weapon let of a ton of steam, it also quit making noise, it seemed to be a one shot kill and when the casing left the sniper it reminded me of the sound a tank makes after firing and its own casing goes flying. I stood up leaving the sniper on the ground balancing on the stands built into it, the lava like color was cooling and leaving it steaming and slowing changing back to its basic metal black.
I saw red fire and black smoke coming up from the firing area, it went so much further than I had anticipated and it was wide, so if your target could hear you and tried to run, it didn't matter as they wouldn't be able to get out of the firing range, well that's good to know I suppose. I was fully healed and I pressed a button on the side of the gun as it morphed down into the black box the size of a reflex pack of A4 printing paper, I lined it up with the holder on my back and let it go sliding it onto my back, making a large metal sound echo over the testing field.
"Wow, I wasn't expecting that," I heard Jenny on the coms, "okay move to the internal testing ground of bay 4," it was the colonel's voice, he was in charge of this mission and operation he was an old man and I would like to say he was wise but in reality he also took no shit from anyone and told it how it was. He had grey hair in a buzz cut and had the typical American Texas voice, he also loved his cigars and whiskey I personally like him he reminded me of a grandfather as he too complained about the 'funky gadget thingy mabobs' that the 'young ones' make these days.
I tested out each and every single one of the other weapons present on me, the blades were well balanced and fine line, only the large hunter style blade was big and noticeable not made for throwing and was strapped to my ankle. It had finger holders made in it, to make grip easier and also protect the fingers it had three holes in the blade and had a hook like end on the blade. I loved the .50 desert eagle it was practically trade mark; my weapon choice, the new holder straps on my upper side thighs also had sections for the ammo to sit and made it seamless when sliding a new clip into the weapon and continue firing, it was smooth and easy. I had plenty of clips and ammo bullets also slid into individual holders on the belt, "incredibly good…" "Yeah you can stop showing off now" Colonel Smith's voice came over the coms after Jenny spoke.
We had to sit in a meeting going over everything and on top of that engineer like teams were monitoring my vitals and the machine and coms as well as visual for the mission, the machine was being prepped and ready to open a portal to the unknown. John was helping with the prep as we all sat in the meeting, "we will have you on a retract cord, should anything happen tug on it twice or call for us to pull you back," I nodded to the field proctor he was to ensure my safety on the mission, it always made me laugh when I think about others taking my health and safety into consideration. The meeting went over policies and procedures what to do if comms or visual is dropped, what to do if engaged by hostiles, what to do if my vitals disappear, what they will do if this happens and so on. It droned on for hours. I already knew all this and had all the information in my head, "can we just get the show on the road people; we will all be dead before this mission even begins if yous keep going on about dam procedures."
I smiled good old Smith, "look Colonel we appreciate your help and overseeing of this mission however you must understand that Agent Hawley is one of our most priceless investments and creations, we do not take sending her into something this dangerous so lightly." "yeah, yeah, yeah, and yous may have forgotten that she is so priceless to you guys because she is immortal but besides that I have worked with her many a times and I tell you right now, you got the right person here, so quite slapping your gums and let's get a move on, didn't you say before that this machine do-wacky cost a lot to run and the fuel aint easy to come by?" the man simply nodded "well then let's not waste resources."
I stood before a large circular dome, in the center was a platform, and the outer circular rings looked like it moved, I could see an outer console built into it, it looked like it took the fuel in there and whatever it was spent of large amounts or energy. Many off the crew had to be in protective gear, I was pulled from my observations when Jenny walked up to me, checking my comm signal piece in my ear, and double checking vital signs and what not, "you know that Geronimo is made of the same thing you are, and runs of a similar serum, but you didn't hear that from me." I smiled at Jenny; it was informative to know not that my scanners did not already pick that up before visual confirmation was synchronized through my sights. I looked around noticing all the monitors, workers and pipping cords and so on, I stood up and looked over to the physician and proctor, who triple checked everything the current owner or Quinn Corp was present he was an old man, balding but he was nice reminded me of a Steve Hawkins kind a guy only not smart, he was more business who brought in the brains and came up with ideas for the geeks to try and follow through with, hence Geronimo.
"Okay people, we are here to change the course of history we have done it with medicine, military, weapons, combat clothing and armor, space expeditions and now we are going for the next step whether its dimension, time or portal world travel we will find out; today everything changes." We all looked up to Mr. Quinn the owner and creator's son of Quinn Corp, he must have been trying to build moral with all the people, however I didn't care for it, I had noticed that over time and with the knowledge I held and knowing I can't die had made me less caring in matters such as this, to me it was just another mission, the only cool part is I get new toys. "Alright you heard the man, let's get this over and done with so we can bust out the whiskey and drink ourselves to death with happiness, which reminds me Hawley if you do happen to come by some good alcohol do bring it back." Colonel Smith pointed his cigar to me, "is that an order?" "Indeed, it is, priority one," I smiled and saluted him "yes sir."
I stood on the center plate, I had to admit the shoes were comfortable now that I was so used to walking, jumping and running in them, they were so nicely cushioned inside too, plus it looked cool like I had hooves instead of feet. I heard the systems power up for the machine and the slow wiring of the moving discs moving around me, "launching in three, two, one" I could barely hear their countdown over the sound of the machine, I was attached to a cord connected to an instant re-spring coil on the plate, the plan is to keep the portal open until I return with us learning what was on the other side. The portal engulfed me and the plate, I couldn't hear anything, see anything, nothing was there, nothing to see in the dark, scan or smell it was an empty void but oh so cold, like open space, and slowly my body froze over unable to move, my internal systems used my machine like body and the serum to heat up and break away the ice, however my cord was snapped by the freezing temperatures and I slowly drifted away into nothing.
-NOW-
I could not believe they were this quick, I was running at 50 kilometers an hour, I could go faster however I had not done a system check and my weight was increased by Pandora. I leaned forward using the springing motion I got from my hooves to bounce around the trees and roots, not tripping or falling. I mapped out what was in front of me, that being all forest but it was all dying from something, possibly these oversized eight legged freaks, I started to run at 70 kilometers an hour and just like that I noticed the heat signatures of others coming from my left, if I didn't know any better I would say they are trying to heard me into a prime location. Were spiders always this smart, it just makes them so much scarier, instead of running more or going the way they wanted me to go.
I instead jumped high up into the air, while up there I did I full scan of the area, these woods were far and wide stretching however I saw other life, a city built into a mountain and underground caverns with a lake and water system, it was far away though. I prepared for the impact of my landing and with a heavy thud I landed, ripping up the earth and trees, I instantly sprung forward, changing my trajectory to that place far off in the distance, I noticed that those spiders on steroids were still on my tail. They seemed to keep up only based on numbers and using the trees, they ran and jumped, springy little bastards they were, no wonder everything we sent through was destroyed or never came back, especially if these were awaiting them.
I also noticed nests dotted around the woods, I looked to the left and behind me, the numbers were finding it hard to keep up, it was in my favor however I couldn't waste all of my ammo here in this place, I was better off running and preserving what I had at my disposal. I wasn't left alone for long though as more spiders were making their way to me, from ahead and both sides, as I got near to a nest, they tried to attack me, already knowing I was coming, it was creepy to say the least. I dodged them and slid under their bulk or jumped over them, some of them varied in size many as large as a vehicle others a small dog, I continued on my way, I had picked up heat seeks in the woods, like a perfect defense line, however they were not human, they ran a hotter body temperature and they were tall, they looked to be sitting up in the trees too. I did not have sights on them though; even though they were there I could not see them unless I scanned their person or saw them on infrared, 'I wonder can they go invisible?'
I could see the spiders ahead of me, moving about in a way that spelled trap, they also began to create a barricade like net in the tree ways, as I ran closer I looked up to jump, however they had webbed all the canopy tree tops. 'Those sneaky little bastards, they must have some way to communicate together, never mind I will shoot them down if I have too.' I pulled my right desert eagle out, I was not able to stop as they were also still behind me, I shot two down siting between two trees, as I jumped through, I saw at the last second a spider jumping from my left side. Its long legs were out-stretched as if to catch me, I had just passed the gap between the trees when it latched onto me, it's bulk and my speed sent us both off to the right where we tumbled and hit rocks, I could feel the joints of it press against me and the long hairs upon its body irritating my skin, it wasn't able to bite into me as we crashed and finally stopped with me half cracking a trunk of a tree. I paused feeling all the breaks and bruises, they were already beginning to heal, however it took me a second to get to my feet from the weight on my back, I looked to see the spider hadn't survived the crash, it had bug guts smeared everywhere and also on me.
I looked up in time to see multiple creepy crawlies jumping and running towards me, I grabbed my left gun and pulled the trigger stopping five while I picked up my right desert eagle that I had dropped by my side, I continued to shoot them down, I planned to run once there was enough space between myself and them.
I quickly holstered my guns and dashed off to the unknown beings sitting in the treetops, I was not running as fast as before as I was still healing, I was just lucky no major organs were damaged as healing would be slower. I was perhaps 500 meters from the borderline that I had seen earlier when I felt the telltale bulk, limbs and hair from another spider this one seemed lighter than the last one but obviously quicker, it latched on to my back and used the opportunity to sink its oversized fangs into the back of my neck and a bit of my shoulder. It was a jarring pain and I could feel my systems detecting intrusion of poison in my being, on top of that the fangs of the spider nicked my artery in my neck, scrapped along the neck bone, and broke my collar bone. However, I also heard a crack and hiss, it fell of my back as I tried to continue running,
I was slowing more and all in my head and before my eyes were errors and system details coming up informing me of many issues starting to affect me. The dosage of poison was enormous especially considering their size. I knew it wouldn't kill me however it could still affect me, I could see the poison affecting and shutting down multiple organs, I looked up to my shoulder and saw one of its giant fangs had broken off and was still lodged in me, I quickly pulled it out and discarded it.
I was only moving at 30 kilometers an hour now, I could see the spiders on both sides of me and practically feel them on my backside, I had perimeter sensors going off informing me of proximity from behind. I pulled out my guns once more, and began firing all those on my sides before turning around and taking down another three, I quickly reloaded my right gun followed by my left, I was not expecting to get tackled by a large spider jumping at me followed by one hiding behind its bulk, so when I shot down the front one the second one was close enough to pin me once more.
This time I was on my back and it bit into my jugular, as if I hadn't had enough damage to my neck already, my serum had only just stopped the bleeding prior, and fixed the broken bones from my tumble, it was too busy trying to stop the poison, and now once this spider latched on it didn't seem to let go. My systems went haywire the amount of venom entering was astronomical, I was stuck as its legs pierced through my arms keeping them in place, and Pandora on my back was weighing me down, I coughed up blood and venom; it was a disgusting green sludge color.
I positioned my hand and shot my left gun, making the spider squeal and hiss and back off before I slowly sat up and shot it a few more times, the other spiders were now all around me, this time they did not wait to launch at me. My arms and specifically my wrists were damaged, slowing my reaction time; however, I managed to shoot three, with two still moving in rapidly fast, I swallowed reading myself for another bite of their fangs. My eyes widened as I saw arrows hit their mark and killing them, they came from behind me where the invisible beings were located, I coughed again and tried to swallow. My systems were screaming alarms, I looked up to see these tall slender long-haired beings jump through the tree-tops and killing all the other spiders and chasing them off into the woods back the way they came.
I slumped and sighed as I could feel my serum flush into my neck and chest area trying to rapidly heal my wounds while internally fighting to eradicate the overwhelming amount of venom still present. I zipped open a small pocket and saw a small metal syringes that held a yellow liquid they were pure serums, made for emergency cases. I had not thought I would even need to use one of these solely for poison or venom but here I was sticking the needle end into my exposed throat as it automatically sent the fluid into me. Slowly I heard footsteps around me and the other warrior like beings make their way back to my position, I pocketed my empty vial and picked up my guns, I could see the light up of yellow below my skin healing the damage to my wrists. I was about to holster my weapons but I heard the drawback of a bow, I looked to my right and saw a woman with long red hair and greeny blue eyes, she was in an olden styled armor more like leather, she had an olden styled bow and arrow and she also had daggers present on her person.
I got to do a scan of her and really take in her person, she was tall for a female over six foot, I also noticed she was extremely beautiful and her ears were pointed at the ends, the others like her made their ways to my position in the trees and on the ground while others kept watch for anything else that may want to attack. The others followed her lead and pointed their arrows at me; I slowly laid my desert eagles on the ground and put my hands up in the air to show surrender. "You are trespassing in the Greenland realm, state who you are and your reason for being here," I was lucky my vocal cords were healed, or this would have been a little awkward. "I am Agent Amira Hawley, I am sorry for trespassing, I do not know my location or how I got here, but thank you for the assist, would you by any chance be able to show me a map or something?" everything was silent for a while. I noticed a slight frown upon her face, "I am captain Tauriel of the Greenland elves, I will have you remove all of your weapons and we will bind you and take you to our King, you must be brought to him as any aid is decided by him."
I nodded "alright I understand, can I please just have a second to get up?" they all backed up and relaxed their arrows but left them notched, I slowly stood and placed my guns in their holsters. I noticed them all twitch on alert "it's alright, I aint gonna try something stupid," I then unbuckled my gun holsters and handed them to a nearby elf that took it, I also unstrapped my ankle knife and took of my entire belt with pockets and bullets and other knifes in it.
I noticed the captain looking me over she took in my shoes the most and I also noticed she was looking at my neck and wrists where my top had rips in it, my strap on gauntlet ammo holders were just missed along with my gloves as the leg went between the two. "What are you?" I looked to the red head, "I am human, why?" I noticed her frown; she was still on guard. "I have never seen a human with hooves before," I smiled at her astute observation, "well I have never met an elf before either, so seems we are both experiencing new things today." I looked up as no one moved, "what about the item on your back and your arms?" I looked to my arms, "these are just ammo, useless without the weapon and the box on my back is harmless, besides I doubt you would be able to carry it as it is extremely heavy, I won't try anything, I would actually like to see if I can figure out where I am, so can you please get me bound and we can go?"
I could tell the woman was not too happy with me asking to be bound and taken with them like a prisoner, but I was not worried. Sure, I could feel pain, and be hurt and affected but death was out of my reach and their bindings were simple vines that I could break if need be. However, I was mainly interested in learning about these beings, they were tall, fast, agile, humanoid and their inners remarkably similar to humans; they came off as superhuman, even the way they moved was an oddity but spectacular to watch.
