Diana, Sue and Nancy are now getting ready to go to school. They will be playing volleyball as a matter of fact. They have played basketball during P.E. of course. This will be the first time that they played volleyball by the way. They have been practicing all throughout the week. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will be playing volleyball for the first time.
"Have a great day at school" said Mrs. Evans.
"I sure will, mom" said Diana. "See you later"
Her mom left her school and went to work.
"Hi, girls" said Diana.
"Hi, Di" said Sue. "We are about to play volleyball today"
"We sure are, girls" said Diana. "In fact, we have been practicing how to play volleyball"
"This will be the first time that we play volleyball" said Nancy.
"We have never player volleyball before" said Sue. "We better get to class now"
"Okay, girls" said Diana. "We don't want to be late for class"
Diana and her friends went to class and took their seats.
"Here we are now, girls" said Diana. "Just in time for class"
"Here comes our teacher now" said Sue.
"Good morning, class" said Mrs. Jean. "I hope you will have a wonderful day at school"
"We sure will, ma'am" said one of her students.
Later, Diana and her friends are now at the gym getting ready to play volleyball.
"Here we are now, girls" said Diana. "Our first volleyball game"
"Here come our opponents now" said Sue.
Their opponents enter the gym and the volleyball begins.
"Serve the ball, Di" said Sue.
Diana has served the ball.
"Good job, Di" said Sue.
One of their opponents has set the ball.
"The ball is coming towards us" said Sue.
She sets the ball back and the ball bounces on the ground.
"Good one, Sue" said Diana.
"Thanks, Di" said Sue. "We are now in the lead right now"
"1 to 0" said Diana. "Let's continue playing"
"Good idea, Di" said Sue.
