-Chapter 4- Be my sword and shield?

Scanning the whole kingdom was handy, and helped me learn my way around, I found this place so fascinating and I also knew they had gardens and fields where they had what looked like elk. I had bathed and dressed in a new dress set out for me, this time the dress had long sleeves, and a slit through the front; it was an ocean blue and felt like silk, it sat nicely on my body. I noticed they placed all of my clothing back in my room however the 'black box' was missing, I guess he was not kidding when he said I would need to move it myself. There was a large dining room, again this was up in the higher chambers to which I now knew was dedicated to just the royal family, I looked over to see only King Thranduil sitting at his seat; the head of the table.
I sat in a chair on his left side, I noticed he looked happy I guess having no scars or pain would make anyone happy, "good day," "yes indeed it is, and I heard you spent all night in the library, did you quench your thirst for knowledge?" I smiled to him, feeling young once more, "I learned a lot, however I have not finished learning just yet, I noticed that your library doesn't have much in ways of other beings physiology, however I now know Sindarin so if you wish to speak in your native tongue you can, plus it will help me learn to pronounce the words properly, you can only learn so much from reading." He smiled "very well as you stated, you can only learn so much from reading, so why not learn some of the things we can do physically?" I smiled to his words "I would like that a lot, I will just need to swap to my combat clothes, however, can I please borrow an appropriate top to learn in?" "Of course, I was going to ask about your clothes, they seem bizarre, do all humans where you are from where things such as that?" "Well most do…" he interrupted me stating to roll my tongue more on the pronunciation of a certain word, "well most do, however it is not combat, they were pants , shorts, skirts, tops, dresses and so on, also women can also have any job men do, there is no more stereotypical stigma like there used to be."
"You can eat," King Thranduil offered thinking I was not eating due to me not knowing the customs around royalty, I looked to the food as if scared of it, "can I chose to not eat, it's just that I don't use those organs to digest food or water, and to do that requires energy and using them after so long of not can be painful, so I prefer not to if you don't mind?" He seemed surprised by this "and you don't need to sleep?" I looked up to him "well I can and I do especially when I am bored, actually now that I think about it, I use to fall asleep easily when I was a child, it was like I never had enough energy and would just lay down and sleep wherever I was at the time."
He smiled amuse at my words and watched as I smiled at the old memories, "what else is there that you can and can't do, I take it you can't reproduce?" "Actually I can, however it is my choice to when I fall pregnant and who, however I had not been sexual since I was a human and alive, so fifty years give or take a few." I knew that to the elves sex and marriage was one in the same, and it was a special and spiritual connection, sex was only done out of love, and they married once however in the first year of marriage they could chose to retract it, and they chose to only have children while in times of peace possibly because it takes 100 years before they were adults regardless of how fast they matured or grew.
I also knew that the elves were not sexual much after having their children and never had many to begin with, "are you waiting for love to have children?" I shook my head "I personally never met anyone I loved or who loved me, and having children was not the first thing on my agenda, I never thought I would be called a mother in my lifetime and so when I was made a cyborg the thought of my children dying before me and my partner makes my heart ache." I did not make eye contact admitting this to him, but speaking of which the King must have a Queen, "King Thranduil, I was wondering where is your Queen?" I noticed his tenseness and the slight clatter of his utensils, his jaw locked tight, it became apparent to me that she was no longer of this word, she must have passed on. "I am sorry my King, please forgive me for overstepping my boundaries," I heard him sigh but he simply stated, "she died a long time ago, which leads me to my next question for you; how did you die?"
"I was 27 and it was nothing special I simply got into a not ideal situation and died, I was lucky I was military though because the corporation that made me as this, worked closely with the military and here I am today. But if you must know it was in an advanced mode of transportation called a fighter jet that was used to attack enemies from the air, it moves extremely fast and I was its pilot when it went down." He simply nodded "I see, you seem fond of your memories as a child," I nodded "well yeah, I had two older brothers now deceased and my parents were lovely, so I was blessed." "In your world are there any other creatures or beings?" I shook my head "no but there are different races of humans depending on the land they hailed from changes their language, culture, religion and no one in my world knows how we came to be or who our god is, many wars are related about religion one race fighting another over who is right and who is wrong. But we live such short lives that it makes sense we would not know how we came to be, but many humans are spiritual as well we call them mediums or clairvoyants, they can see those who are dead, speak to them and even see into the future. But there are those who seek truth and science they look at the world around them through a scientific point of view, much like Jenny and John, they are scientists who work at the corporation I work for too."
"So I take it that humans still live such short dull lives?" I smiled at his words, "yeah many do, however many are also very good, many are bad and many just don't care, I find as the years go on the population on our planet increases so do the crimes and blatant disregard of their humanity, but who am I to speak, I kill people simply because I am ordered to;" I paused looking off and thinking "you're the first person I have ever healed of a wound…it was good to see you happy and made me happy to help for once instead of kill." There was a comfortable quietness that fell over the dining table, we heard footsteps come into the dining hall, "ah you have company," he spoke in Sindarin "you can join if you wish my son, we were just conversing about her world, it is very intriguing only humans live there but there are different races of them," I looked over my shoulder to see the prince, "don't make me stop you from having lunch, the more the merrier."
-Sometime later-
"Wow so there are over eight billion humans on your home world, your lands must be vast?" I smiled to the prince they are, "we have an entire mapped and catalogued world, I will need to draw it for yous to see." I found it nice to speak to the prince when he was not on edge, he seemed relaxed today, "yes Hawley even agreed to learn our weapons and fighting style, maybe even show yous her own?" I beamed a smile "oh yes that's right, I should go change oh and I will need a new top," Thranduil nodded his head "I'll get Legolas to stop by your room with one, now off with you."
I dropped by the upper lounge room and collected Pandora and took it to my room, I began dressing as much as I could until I heard a knock on the door "It's prince Legolas, I have the training top for you," I covered myself with my dress, and peaked open the door, "thank you my prince," I grabbed the top from him, noticing it was a leather like top to which he and Tauriel wear, I strapped it on and left the room, leaving my sniper behind.
It was a beautiful place to train, of course I spent the first ten minutes looking around, taking in the sights, smells and my surroundings with a smile, "are you done?" I smiled to the prince "this is not common in my world just so you know, so I am going to enjoy it while I can," he smirked to me, "or are you just saying that because you don't want your butt whooped?" I actually laughed at his challenge, "okay you're on, hand-to-hand first to tap loses?" he smirked and I noticed that the other elves paused and begun watching us, a judge per say was monitoring us to make sure we didn't go too far, and to be honest that would be the hardest thing for me to do, I was used to not holding back and going for the instant kill.
"Alright the loser is determined by knock out or tap out, this is only hand-to-hand, no weapon's allowed and no killing, begin!" I had never seen an elf fight before but based on the books I read they were fast, agile, and flexible he would use those to the best of his ability. He was fast, as he went to grip me and pull me into a head-lock; however I slipped out of it and swiped out to try and kick his feet out to which he jumped over and aimed a kick at me. I rolled back and instantly took on a basic martial arts stance, he was quick so every hit I make will need to wear him down, and he assumed a stance I had not seen before.
I waited I would not rush him, as he had weight and height over me, after a while he rushed me, and for a second it looked like he was going to kick but instead he punched with his left hand, it connected but I grabbed it and used his body to quickly climb him, locking my legs around his neck and utilised my body mass and reefed him to flip him over on to his back and then pin him in a head and body lock, cutting of his air intake. He went purple before tapping out; he tried really hard and nearly slipped out however his lack of oxygen was the only reason why I won. I instantly released him and stood up as he took a huge gulp of air, "good fight, I don't know what fighting style that was but it caught me of guard for a second there," he smiled "obviously not enough," I gave him a hand up, "so want to trade fighting skills?"
I found when you weren't looked at as a threat by the elves; they were very friendly and polite, I learned that their fighting style was simplistic and a hit and run kind of tact it was used more to help their agility and movements and they mainly fought with spears, swords, daggers and bow and arrows. I walked up to my room ready to shower and go to the library once again, but came across the King once more "ah there you are, heard you gave my son a thrashing today," I didn't want to get in trouble "um, yeah we had a friendly spar that is all," he smiled "it's alright, he hasn't had many who gave him such a challenge, it's good for him." I smiled "yeah but I never knew there was so many things one could do with a bow or daggers," "yes we are talented with the weapons we craft."
I walked beside the king "yeah and they are beautiful, I remember you had your own sword, it was beautiful from what I can recall," he smiled "yes I have two of them, they are indeed sublime and I take them with me into battle and keep them with me in my own halls." He moved his over coat to show me the hilt of it, I looked and did a quick scan of it, it had a hollow engraved handle and the actual sword blade and handle was all one piece of metal with negative space cut outs in the blade. It was designed with vines and twirls, truly pretty, "did you scan it?" I smiled to him "yeah~" he smiled "do you scan everything?" I scratched my head and looked away "well you know it helps with gathering information and helps me understand, that is why I know where everything is in this kingdom and I can see were everyone is through the walls and floors by their heat signatures."
Over time I found myself teaching and learning from the elves and their vast collections of knowledge especially about magic, other dialects, and other languages as well as the plants and herbs of this world. It only took a year for me to have the entire library's knowledge in my own head; I had continued to teach the elves what I knew about different fighting styles, I mainly taught them fighting styles that would benefit them. I had done a shitty drawn map with an ink quill and parchment, the elves had been shocked to learn that my world had so much land and water, and finally understood why I was shocked at their small world map.
I got along with all of the elves learning many of the councillors, trainers, teachers, scholars, healers, and guards were, I mainly stuck with the guard, the prince, and the King, over the time I had gained much of their trust and Thranduil even listened to my council when it came to combat tactics. I was beginning to bore; I had learned their fighting style and in doing so I took on a more agile feel to my gate I also carried two elven daggers and bow and arrows; trying to save the ammunition for my firearms. I lay on a stone bench in the outdoor field patch with the elk as I had finished cleaning up after them and feeding them, I played a song I had saved in my storage from my own world. I had my arm draped over my eyes, the sun was spewing in through the high ceilings, the large grass and foliage flush and green with butterflies and birds around.
"Are you insane like me?
Been in pain like me?
Bought a hundred-dollar bottle of champagne like me?
Just to pour that motherfucker down the drain like me?
Would you use your water bill to dry the stain like me?
Are you high enough without the Mary Jane like me?
Do you tear yourself apart to entertain like me?
Do the people whisper 'bout you on the train like me?
Saying that you shouldn't waste your pretty face like me?
And all the people say
You can't wake up, this is not a dream
You're part of a machine, you are not a human being
With your face all made up, living on a screen
Low on self-esteem, so you run on gasoline"
I felt a light wet muzzle touch my head, I slowly moved my arm to see Glad aen, Thranduil's giant Elk he made a keening noise, I slowly sat up patting him, and scooting closer to him as I continued to sing.
"I think there's a flaw in my code
these voices won't leave me alone
well my heart is gold and my hands are cold
Are you deranged like me?
Are you strange like me?
Lighting matches just to swallow up the flame like me?
Do you call yourself a fucking hurricane like me?
Pointing fingers cause you'll never take the blame like me?
And all the people say
You can't wake up, this is not a dream
You're part of a machine, you are not a human being
With your face all made up, living on a screen
Low on self-esteem, so you run on gasoline
I think there's a flaw in my code
these voices won't leave me alone
well my heart is gold and my hands are cold"
I looked when I saw him come into the area, the King sat next to me, "I've never heard a song like that, I take it, it's from your world," I smiled "do you have to ask?" "Do you miss home, I thought you would have settled in by now, and truly you have, I feel like you have always been here." I smiled to his words, "well I mainly miss the things of my world, I would never be bored and I miss Jenny and John," the King made an 'ahh' sound, he was already knowledgably about the two among many other things about my previous home. "But I do like it here, I just bore easily as mentioned, there is nothing left for me to learn or teach, well unless all of a sudden I begin making and teaching others how to make machines and technology beyond the years of this worlds advancement."
He smiled lightly at my words, I learned that Tauriel had originally been taken in by Thranduil and trained much like a daughter to him and he had hoped she and his son would be life partners. I did not blame him, Legolas was in his 2,000 years of life and himself being in his 5,000 years, it must get awfully boring and monotonous. I looked up to him as I noticed he was about to say something, "I was thinking I can send you to Rivendell as Lord Elrond has much more vast knowledge and information about other races and information from out in the world, if you would like that?"
I had noticed quickly that Thranduil kept to himself and his people to his borders, not venturing out far into the world, I was sure he had suffered much out in it and possibly saw much blood shed from mingling in the outside world. I had become what I would like to say is a close friend to the king, I listened to him and we conversed much, it was different to the friendship I had with the other elves and the prince. With the King it was trust, I had noticed after healing his wounds he became nicer in a way, he also first worried I would leave his kingdom when I first went out on patrol, however I always came back, I noticed his relieved look in his eyes, so I knew how important I was to him. "Thranduil if you wish for me to not go then I will stay," I offered, a hopeful look crossed his eyes for a second, however he instantly said "no, we have found you sleeping where you drop in random locations all around the kingdom, I think it is time for you to go seek new knowledge and entertainment."
I smiled at his words, he was being selfless, I had a sleeveless skin-tight leather singlet designed top that held my breasts in place, Thranduil fixed my combat black top, and I however only wore my clothes when on patrol. I had learned that the world of middle-earth was currently experiencing great peace, dwarfs were not far from our Greenland realm, they lived in the lonely mountain and the city of Dale was a bustling and busy place. I had also learned that there was no mention or grave of the Queen after her passing, it still haunted the King he deeply loved her, Legolas was proof of that. However I always went to her statue in the woods and cleaned it up and made sure no damage came to it, if the statue looked like the Queen in her life than she was incredibly beautiful.
I had begun to pack to go to Rivendell, the day prior a messenger arrived with a reply back from the dwarfs from the lonely mountain, they were given the beautiful diamond like gems from my King and asked to make it into the necklace, he had wanted them made before his Queen perished, only now did he commissioned the dwarfs to do so. The King was informed it was ready but with a change to what they agreed upon, the dwarves were trying to claim ownership of it and stated that he needed to give them more for it as the gems were theirs too, which was not true, man it sucked when beings lived long lives in this world; 'it's like days of our lives.' "Are you ready?" I looked up to see Harthion, he was to be leading and in charge of Thranduil's security while traveling to and from Erabor, I decided to accompany the King mainly because I wanted to see Dale and the dwarfs, and then after we will go straight to Rivendell.
I wore all my weapons and combat clothes, I chose to take Pandora as well; Thranduil acted like a worried parent sometimes, he told me that Lord Elrond has many visitors and company, but to never tell anyone who or what I was. I had promised him, he always stated I was his and his alone, I noticed a slight darkened look to his face, and I was used to it, those who wanted me for my skill and abilities. However I found it didn't bother me as much as it used to when I was back in my world when one acted as such, and I think it was because he was immortal and I could always stand next to him rather than a greedy mortal just wanting to keep me to himself, meanwhile my king wanted me to better protect his people and kingdom. He had also made me promise to teach Legolas as much as I could, with Legolas I could act my age and we cracked jokes and challenged and tested each other regularly, however I promised my King that I will always keep his only child safe, not that he was weak however I don't think my King could take another loss.
At the front of the Kingdom Glad aen was ready for Thranduil, along with six others; I chose to go on foot. "Really Amira, I don't see why you don't just ride one of the elk, you love them enough to take care of them," I smiled at his words, "but I already have my own hooves and I really don't mind walking; besides, I don't want to weigh one of them down." I smiled back up to him, I stayed by his and Glad aen's side it was easy to keep pace; however I was sure we made a strange picture to onlookers. There was seven elf's in total all on elk in shinny clothes and armour and one human woman with hooves in all black walking and running by their side while they travelled; yep strange picture indeed. I was not known as I had always stayed within the Kingdom since arriving in middle-earth, nothing else from my world ever showed or turned up in the Greenland realm, and I didn't take much notice of the time I spent with the elf's seeing as time didn't affect them nor me, making time seem non-existent.
The travel between Greenwood and Dale was quick and the city was lovely, it had many stone-built buildings, and winding uphill streets, when the many mixed races living there saw us arrive, they all celebrated and they made way for us. We chose to spend a while in the city, I was sure Thranduil wanted to give me the time to experience this place. I smiled to him, "this place is so lively, I've never seen anything like it," I beamed a smile to him, I had seen busy cities but they were busy in people rushing to and from work, this was people playing and having fun with playgrounds, food stands, toy shops and many running children. We finally made our way to the dwarfs, I had already had a negative look upon their race as they had agreed to the terms and conditions of the guidelines of the commission job and Thranduil had provided his best diamonds and gems for it, it was a momentum for his lost Queen, however they backed out once it was done. They came off as selfish, I noticed that my King was selfish but he was for the benefit of his people and kingdom, these creatures were just due to greed and ego.
We followed the thin walkways, we entered a large cavern and walked on high bridges which lead to a thrown, I noticed there was the Dwarf King, who was an old man he had orange brown hair, a man with black hair and blue facial markings along with a plated beard and hair, he mainly wore blue. There was also a noticeably young Dwarf with a clean black beard and shoulder length black hair, they all stood to the right side of the King, they must have been family then, there was also a small dwarf with a small chest, he held it, and it must have held what we came here for. I had received many strange looks in the city of Dale and here as we passed Dwarfs, many of them were small and ugly reminding me of big nosed Scottish people, my King walked up front, and then four elves on his right and left and I walked at the back behind his person.
I had looked up front; as my King stepped forward, I slowly took steps forward between the lines of elves, keeping a sharp eye peeled for trouble. I had of course taken the opportunity to scan and check everything new to me, but one could not be too careful. It was then that I made eye contact with the young Dwarf dressed in black and blue, it was hard to believe he was one of them, he looked so young, innocent and dare I say handsome, he had deep blue eyes, and smooth skin and looked more human in his features, he was one of the tallest Dwarfs I had seen since entering the lonely mountain. I noticed him looking me over with confusion and wonder, the male next to him doing the same. I had disliked the way the lid was closed just before my King's hand could grab what rightfully belonged to him, and the way their King looked at Thranduil made me want to forcibly take the diamonds.
I noticed that my King began to make his way back to my location, I moved to the side so he could walk to the other end of the lines of elves and lead us where he wanted, however the Dwarf King's voice echoed through the large room. "Ah I spy with my little eye not an elf, King Thranduil who is it that is within your company?" We all paused, my King and I both turned around "King Thrór I do not see how my company is any of your concern," I could hear my King biting his words out, he was already furious at the events just transpired. "It is my concern as it transpires within my mountain!" The Dwarf King obviously had a short temper, I looked to my king, and I was enormously proud and never looked away or bowed my head to any; Thranduil being the only one. "This is Hawley, she is a half-ling and lives in my Kingdom," I did not speak or look away nor spoke or bowed, "yes but half what?" It was the older looking man with black hair who asked. "She is half Elf and half human," my king barely had time to speak before King Thrór questioned again, I loved my shoes however they looked so realistic and were hooves so all believed they were my feet, until I took them off. "But she has hooves like a cow or horse," "it is not a disadvantage to her," the King leaned back in his stone made seat "ah I did not know you were taking in strays, who would have thought King Thranduil would be the one to do so?" He had a biting tease, to his words, and I could hear the sound of Thranduil's fists tightening behind his back, I swallowed staying quite, I was ready to fight and defend if my King lost his temper.
I could still feel the dark blue gaze settled upon me, I looked to the left of the Dwarf King and made dead on eye contact, he did not waver or falter and he looked prideful of me catching him looking at me shamelessly. It was truly a shame he was a Dwarf and mortal as he seemed to be the nicest out of all the Dwarfs in the large room at the time.
"Ah I see you have caught yourself admiring my grandson Thorin, he is well on his way to being made into a great King for the Dwarves in the future." Hearing his grandfather boast about him, only made him smile and puff out his chest while his father next to him clamped his hand on his son's shoulder, I stood still and silent not knowing what to say or what was really going on, I actually felt a little awkward. "Now that you have met my ward, we may conclude our visit and be on our way, we have many other places to be and matters to attend to…" I was prepped to run out of that mountain if need be, the tension and awkwardness was just grating on my person, "not so fast…I don't believe your ward bowed to me showing the proper respect I deserve." I clenched my jaw, I noticed the slight frown on Thorin's face as well as he too just noticed I hadn't bowed, 'oh boy, this is going to be hard to try not kill him,' I did not fear them or see them as worthy, I did see their value as a race but I did not see this Thrór as a King, however my King gave me a small nod as I looked to him in a pleading manor. We were at least lucky I only wore Pandora with a holder covering it with my quiver of arrows, bow and dual daggers slipped in it, keeping everything else concealed while my other belongings stayed on Glad aen.
I took a tentative step forward and the way the elves bowed to Thranduil was how I bowed to this King too, taking one knee and bowing my head over, "it's a pleasure to meet you King Thrór," "and my son Thráin and grandson Thorin" it was a command I bowed my head to each "it is nice to meet you Thráin and Thorin." "And what is it you do for your King?" I made eye contact with the King in front of me "I am his Sword and his Shield when he needs me."
I looked up taking in Thorin's blue eyes once more, I had no idea why I made eye contact with the youngest but I just did. In return the youngest inclined his to me "as it is my pleasure, Hawley" I stood once more to my full height making me look slightly down, but it did not seem to bother him to look up, I suppose he was used to it by now. We all continued to stand "ah it seems your ward is captured by my grandson…" I snapped now able to tell my King was looking to me, I looked to him and swallowed, "speak up," was his only command, I looked back to Thorin, "I find your eyes beautiful and captivating, that is why I find it hard to look away from you Thorin, however you also look innocent and young."
I slightly lifted my head as I said those words "well I dare say, you do not look much older than I Lady Hawley," I actually smirked at his words "well looks can be deceiving, however we cannot deceive time and if we have King Thrór's approval then we will be on our way, it was lovely to see your home and make your acquittances." "Very well, have a safe journey," I had noticed Thorin's slight smile and puffed chest deflated when I changed the subject to us departing.
Once we were back with the elk's and heading on our way, Thranduil looked down to me, "and what was that?" I looked up to him "what was what?" I knew what his referring was to, however he scoffed "answer me!" "It was as I said, his eyes captivated me." "You said you would not marry of have children, however the first dwarf you see you are ready to leave Greenwood…" I frowned and cut him off "do not mistake me liking a blue colour for me losing my allegiance; you know you're the only one I serve!" I had actually snapped at him, angered at him jumping to conclusions, yes indeed my King was a selfish being; however he said no more on the matter.
The journey to Rivendell was much longer and came with many obstacles such as orc's that we dispatched from the living world, as we got to the mountains we knew we were close to our destination, however I was nervous traversing through it as I could see all the heat signatures in the mountain. "What is it?" I looked up to my King, "a lot of creatures in the mountain, I think goblins, we should not stay after the sun set's," the guards agreed and we all picked up the pace. We reached our destination as the sun was leaving the last pink, purple and orange rays upon the sky, we all stood in a courtyard, it was a beautiful place the Kingdom was built into the mountainside and there were waterfalls and lakes. A dark-haired elf appeared "Lord Elrond has been expecting your arrival, please follow me," I did not know what to expect when I meet the old elf however I was thinking someone more like my King; however this brown-haired kind-hearted elf was a shock to me. He was cheery, hugging and welcoming us with open arms and smiles, I smiled to him as he laid eyes on me. "So this must be Lady Amira Hawley I was informed about, my dear I hear you want to broaden your knowledge?" I nodded my head, "yes indeed, my King had informed me you were the one to come to for such a thing, if you will have me of course?" He laughed "of course my dear, it has been too long since I took on a student, but I hope you are prepared to put in the hours, I have already thought of where we can begin."
Again we all sat having dinner after we bathed and changed, I listened to the music instruments being played for us, I also over heard the two elves speaking to one another, "so Thranduil what is she, and don't lie to me" my King had made a hurt look, "if you must know Elrond she is half Elf and half Human, she is a strong one." It was just as well most of the beings of middle earth could actually reproduce with one another, however in me being with Elrond for a period of time would require me to start eating, and me to not participate in patrols and wearing my cow boots as little as possible. Elrond had been looking at my feet once I changed over to slip on ballet shoes, noticing I had normal feet, the conversation changed to my King complaining about the Dwarves and how they stole his beautiful gems and diamonds that shinned like the stars themselves.
Elrond seemed to act as the calm one keeping the peace between races and also changing topic back to me, "why was your ward not on an Elk?" "Yes, she had chosen not to, you see she is very well disciplined and viewed the travel and walk as her training, those shoes help with that as well." Elrond accepted the lie easily, "ah and what of her parents, how did you come by her?" A lie had been rehearsed by those who knew of me, stating that I was brought up by my human mother who died and informed me that my father was an elf, I made my way to Greenwood and had been taken in by the King because he saw potential within me.
It was daybreak when I hugged my trusted friend behind closed doors as he was done readying himself for a trip back home, "don't forget to eat, don't sing songs or talents from your home, and for crying out loud if you should need to leave with him or his men ride the bloody horses." I smiled at his obvious parental side showing, Elrond gave me the same feeling but he was fluffier feeling father meanwhile Thranduil came off as strict type of dad, "yes I know." We left my room; I was already being spoilt by Elrond as he gave me a grand room one slightly bigger than the one, I moved into in the royal section Thranduil lived in, back home. I made my way down the steps as the guards and my King made their way out of the kingdom, I waved to them one last time before turning to Elrond, "are you ready to begin?"
