Diana, Sue and Nancy are now getting ready for their basketball game. They have already had a practice for their basketball game as a matter of fact. They also did their tryout of course. They are about to play basketball by the way. The game will take place during class. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will be having a basketball game at school.
"Have a great day at school, Di" said Mrs. Evans.
"I sure will, mom" said Diana. "See you later"
Her mom left her school and went to work.
"Hi, girls" said Diana.
"Hi, Di" said Sue. "We have a basketball game today"
"We sure do, girls" said Diana. "In fact, have been practicing for our game"
"We also did a good job on our tryout" said Nancy.
"The game will take place during class" said Diana.
"That is true, Di" said Sue. "We better get to class now"
"Okay, girls" said Diana. "We don't want to be late for class"
Diana and her friends went to class and took their seats.
"Here we are now, girls" said Diana. "Just in time for class"
"Here comes our teacher now" said Sue.
"Good morning, class" said Mrs. Jean. "I hope you will have a wonderful day at school"
"We sure will, ma'am" said one of her students.
Later at the gym, Diana and her friends are getting ready for their basketball game.
"This is it, girls" said Diana.
"That is a lot of people here, Di" said Sue.
"I can see our opponent" said Diana.
"Are you ready, girls?" The referee asked.
"Yes, we are, sir" said Diana.
"Time for a tip off" said the referee.
He throws the ball high and Diana touched the ball first.
"And we are underway" said Sue.
One of their opponents took the ball away.
"They are about to score first" said Diana.
"Not if we score first" said Sue.
She took the ball from their opponents and shoots it and went right in.
"Great shot, Sue" said Diana.
"Thanks, Di" said Sue. "Let's keep playing"
