This is just a rewrite of the series with Peter Parker along for the ride. Peter has his spider powers, not the abilities of a Huntsman, and has been Spider-man for two years and his parents were Huntsman who graduated from Beacon. May is also a Huntress and Ben was in the military. Peter's current age depends on you.

"That music…it's back...can't listen ".
(a melody plays in his mind, followed by female vocals)

He tries to push it the back of his mind, and focuses on his goal. His name is Peter Benjamin Parker. Son of Huntsman duo Richard and Mary Parker. AKA the amazing Spider-Man, and he is in pursuit of a man to who's side he has been a thorn. That man is one Roman Torchwick, accompanied by his minion Neopolitan, as they attempt to escape via aircraft from Atlas into Vale. As his foot touches the next rooftop, the song in Peter's head continues.

(Red like roses fills my dreams , and brings me to the place you rest)

He banishes it to the back of his mind once again. He does not understand its meaning, knows its origin all too well. It is his Call to the Hunt, a sirens call to the life of a Huntsman that all Parkers' hear, save for Ben Parker, our hero's uncle, though he did fall for and subsequently marry May "Reaper" Reilly. Each Call is unique, and as he swings to the next building, it returns.

(White is cold and always yearning, burdened by a royal test)

" Why now, after all this time?", Peter inquires. His call quieted for a time when his parents died, but returned moments before he was bitten by the spider. It popped up occasionally then, suddenly, it vanished…until now. Peter understands the nature of its reemergence as it starts again. Loudly.

(Black the beast, descends from shadows)

"I heed the call", he realizes, as he releases another web. "By following Torchwick, I'm answering my Call to the Hunt." He pauses and ponders his choice. Does he let Torchwick go, without facing justice, or continue his pursuit, and succumb to his fate? He recalls something Aunt May said to him, when he was a boy. "When you run from fate, you run from yourself and from yourself, you will never escape." He chuckles, "Can't run forever." He leaps into the air , his quarry's craft in site, as his web-line hits the opposite building, the song nears its end.

(Yellow beauty burns …gold)

The melody continues as he reaches his final approach. His movements in time with the beat, he webs to the craft, undetected. "Alright", he says too himself," just have to hold on until we reach our destination". He then rest, for his journey is long and he will need his strength.

(5 hours later)

"What time is it?" Peter checks his mini-scroll. "Damn this thing's fast, I just took a quick power nap and we're already here." He silently slides off the aircraft and webs to the CCT tower. Peter the gathers all his courage and… call his aunt. "Hello?", the soft yet strong voice of May Parker calls. "Hi , Aunt May." "Are you calling to tell me you'll be late for dinner?" "Not exactly." He tells her that followed Torchwick , and his Call to the Hunt to Vale. "So, do you know anyone I can stay with here?" He waits a few moments for her answer." I think I can arrange something," she say, in her usual warm tone. "thanks, Aunt May. I love you." "I love you too, Peter." He ends the call and looks around. "So this is Vale, huh? Nice place", he says , before hearing glass shatter and witnesses a break in. "No rest for the wicked, I guess." With that, he swings into action.
