Arnim Zola was in the elevator of the secret underground base of his agency he was working for. This agency was known as HYDRA. HYDRA had an important weapon now that Arnim Zola had killed the man's family who owned it before. He sent HYDRA agents to shoot them down and retrieve it. This is known as the Cosmic Cube. When the elevator dinged, Arnim stood straight up as in an army stance. The door opened and Arnim Zola walked out to see his boss Johann Schmidt.
"Ah Arnim, do you have my package?"
"Yes sir. Right here."
Arnim Zola lifted up the suitcase that was in his hand and handed it to Schmidt. Inside it the Cosmic Cube glowed. Schmidt came out of the dark side he was in and revealed his entire red face. This is how he came up with the nickname, the Red Skull.
"Beautiful Mr. Zola. Just beautiful. I understand it will work as our most powerful weapon."
Arnim Zola nodded his head and heard his German boss speak his accent through his words. Red Skull looked up and smiled in his evil smile.
"There are rumors Zola, that there are five more of these powerful objects. However, I doubt they are all on earth. The one will do just fine."
Red Skull closed the case and walked up to the front of the room he was in. As he turned around he looked at Zola and smiled again.
"Have a drink Zola. We may have just won the war. Not World War II, but the war against SHIELD."
He laughed as he went into the elevator and yelled the words "HAIL HYDRA!"
