Alterverse Files: Umbra Edition

In the omniverse, there are alters, and from these alters came two types, the Umbra and the Lux. You have selected Umbra, a term involving the worse or utterly inhumane version of a character. Welcome, to the Alterverse, be prepared to be horrified and disturbed by Umbra.

20. Alterverse File 9019

Within a dark room, a looming silhouette of a laptop zooms ever closer to the screen, flashes of strange images hit the viewing apparatus the viewer is currently looking at.

From strange images of blood and viscera to the undeterminable faces of madness and despair, the images bombard you as letters fly across the shadows, each one bigger than the last as the screen turned on with a crimson hue.

A hand, obscured by a black glove, began to type on the keys as the words began to form.

This set of letters was:

The Alterverse Files.

That was when a set of words appeared under the title in a sickening hue of black and rusted brown.

Umbra Edition.

The screen showed some numbers before a file was introduced, marked:

Alterverse File #9019- Kamen Rider Ryuga/Dark Shinji.

(Initiating origin file)

A series of beeping could be heard before a text box appeared.

The file screen vanished while showing an image of the being as several stats appeared below it, loading at an alarming rate.

Bio: In this timeline, Yui Kanzaki, sister of the Advent Deck creator Shiro Kanzaki and partial creator of an alternative dimension called the Mirror World, met and befriended Shinji Kido, Kamen Rider Ryuki, when they were both very young which resulted in the child creating his counterpart from his negative subconscious emotions. Over time the copy would adopt the identity of Kamen Rider Ryuga and join the Rider battle in order to become a real person in the real world as denizens of the Mirror World can only exist within their dimension and upon entering the real world can exist for a very limited time until he disintegrates, and vice versa with humans within the Mirror World without any extra protection.

Personality: the complete opposite of Shinji Kido, cruel and scheming.

Powers: Immortality, Doppelgänger morphing, contract with Dragblacker, use of the Black Drag Visor, Drag Saber, Drag Claw, and the Drag Shield.

Franchise: Kamen Rider Ryuki

Fate: to be defeated by his real world counterpart but returns to the Mirror World where he stayed for seventeen years until he returned in another timeline and fused with his counterpart.

The screen turned off as it became dark as night once again.
