Clare arrives back in Chicago, Illinois after venturing out through a world she no longer recognizes. Once back home, she finds that most of her friends are gone...while few have been left behind. (10)-Rapture Or Abduction?

As Clare drove through the city of Chicago, heading tword her next destination, a man was on the radio, talking about the disappearances not being alien-related, but the Rapture itself.

"Don't believe what the government is telling you! There was no mass alien abduction! This was the Rapture! An event spoken of in 1st Thessalonians 4:16-18! And it reads "For the Lord himself shall descend from Heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we forever be with the Lord"." Said the man on the radio.

Clare changed the station and another man started talking about the vanishing event being a mass alien abduction.

"How many times do you have to see the evidence? How many times must the point be made? We're causing our extinction. To many red lines have been crossed. And our home planet has in fundemental ways been invaded by extraterrestrial beings that we may have unknowingly contacted in the 1950s. Those alien beings have come and gone...taking millions of people and all children under 13 with them. And of course that's been catastrophic. This event was inevitable from the moment we tried to prove that aliens exist. We convince ourselves that sudden change is something that happens outside the normal order of things, like a...car-crash...or something that's beyond our control, like a fatal illness. We don't concieve of sudden radicle, irrational change as woven into the very fabric of existence. Yet i can assure you it most assuredly is. And it's happening now. We, the remains of humanity, are now gonna be forced to admit that we are not alone in this universe. These space creatures existed before us...and if we're not careful, they're gonna be existing after. We're gonna have to adjust to a new life that we can't imagine. We've entered a new age. Welcome...to the new world." Said the man on the radio.

Clare then turned off the radio and drove passed a sign that read "Now Leaving Chicago. Come Again."
