(Sonic's POV)
I've been showing EXE this morning about the place that Amy works at; the bakery store. I want him to understand my ex at how great she is with baking everything. Something that can make him not go evil on me or try to do anything crazy. I don't mind if he kills evil spirits or psychopaths. Just as long as we don't leave evidence behind.
"Looks like the business is going well Amy" I said.
"Yeah, that's why they have me" Amy said, carefully putting cupcakes on the shelves.
"They look delicious" EXE said in my mind.
"Yes they do. I mean, uh. Um, why don't I buy cupcakes for...my buddy inside me? I'm trying to make sure he behaves" I said quietly.
"Okay, I'll be at the cashier register" Amy said.
Once I bought the cupcakes, I kissed Amy on the cheek to see her later. And to tell her that Dexter come back again, EXE and I will be sure to give him a fright he'll never forget.
I walked up to the cafe place to have them, but I can't say a word in front of the customers or they'll think I'm crazy.
I thought of if EXE can control my weight since junk food and sweets can make me gain weight.
"I can eat body fat inside you" EXE said.
"Um, thanks" I said quietly.
As I ate the cupcake, EXE too could feel the taste of it, "Not bad Sonic" He said.
"Told ya she's an expert" I said in my head.
"Yes she is. No one but my lover has ever done something nice for me" EXE said in my head.
It's like he's never been to this world that is full of wonders.
"Interesting" I replied back to him and then ordered a latte to drink.

I saved the cupcakes for later and returned home as I got there. Sometimes I like saving cakes in the fridge so that it doesn't feel dry.
The latte was somewhat making EXE feel relaxed or something.
"Uh, EXE? Are you okay? You feel like you're calm" I asked.
"It's just that you're drinking this latte, making me feel relaxed" EXE said.
"Is that your weakness or something new to you?" I asked.
"No, it makes me feel calm" EXE said.
"For a being you sure haven't felt relaxed for thousands of years" I chuckled and finished my latte.
"Until now. Sonic, my life is about hunting evil souls in my world. I never had a fun life until I met the love of my life, she never had a name but I called her Bloody Rose because she's red like a rose that bleeds" EXE said.
"I thought you were going to say a rose with thorns" I said.
"Absolutely not. It's too depressing for a name like that" EXE said.
"Fair point. Tell me, why were those psychopaths want with your diamond?" I asked.
"They want to use me to cure their disease in their bodies but I refused. That's why I killed them. I wanted to escape and use a body but their bodies were too weak and helpless. That's when you came and I was free" EXE said.
"Is that why the stab on my shoulder didn't weaken me? Because you were able to heal me?" I asked.
"Yes, even broken bones I can heal" EXE said.
"Maybe that's why those psychopaths wanted you. Healing powers I guess but maybe they wanted something else" I said as I lied down on my bed.
"They want to abuse my powers for their own selfish desire" EXE said.
"Sounds like something they would do to anger the gods" I said.
"Pretty much. I sensed they have done homicide as well" EXE said.
"What was your world like? Scary and horrifying?" I asked.
"Something like that. My world is full of blood and red. Why do you think I kill evil for sport?" EXE asked.
"Your kind loves causing carnage" I said.
"Yes. Both for the better good and for fun" EXE said.
"But here in my world you're becoming softer and a little evil at the same time" I said.
"Yes, because you have a pure heart" EXE said.
"I guess that's something my heart cannot get possessed" I chuckled.
"Because you love that pink lady of yours" EXE said.
"Yes but she and I are ex-lovers but eventually she and I will repair. And I guess maybe someday you'll return home. If there's was a way" I said, going in my bathroom to brush my teeth.
"There is but I don't know if it will work. The diamond that imprisoned me can gather enough evil ghost energy to make that diamond black again. However, it won't be way to find all evil spirits in your world" EXE said.
Right after I was done brushing my teeth, I turned off my bathroom light and went into my bedroom.
"Then why did you eat evil ghosts if you knew?" I asked.
"Because I was hungry. Your food cannot satisfy me. Only blood, hearts, and evil spirits can" EXE said.
"I suppose" I yawned and got into bed.
"Tomorrow you bring that diamond and do not let any of your friends know. Got that?" EXE said with a serious tone.
"Got it" I said before going to sleep.
(Dream)
I was in a world that was very scary. The sky red, the everything that's supposed to be water is blood and dead vegetation around. Is this EXE's home world?
"Come on, Bloody Rose. You know how hungry I get to hunt evil spirits" EXE said.
He looks like me like that reflection before, only with blood dripping down from his eyes and with blood all over his fur like he slaughtered someone.
"I just can't wait" A feminine yet distorted voice said.
I saw her and she looked a lot like Amy but with red fur and same eyes like EXE. She too had shark like teeth.
"Now let's show those spirits how it feels committing homicide" Bloody Rose said.
"I like that in a girl, love. I don't know what I do without you" EXE said.
"Women always know how to guide their man, EXE" Bloody Rose said.
"Let's have some fun!" EXE said and ran with her.
I watched the two chase after wicked souls.
"That one is mine. I can feel evil coming from that spirit" EXE stretched his arm to grab the spirit.
"I found these!" Bloody Rose grabs two evil spirits and devoured them.
Gross but never thought that this counterpart of Amy can be very...fearless. And just as dangerous as well.
"That's my girl. Let's find some more before they escape or haunt other places with good spirits" EXE said.
"Alright then" Bloody Rose said and walks with him.
They were heading to an ancient temple with blood flowing like a river.
"EXE, I don't think this a good place to find ghosts. What if it's a trap?" Bloody Rose said.
"Let's find out" EXE said as they get inside the temple.
I saw how they got inside and the doors closed by themselves.
"EXE, this is definitely a trap" Bloody Rose stuttered.
She's a lot like my Amy when she gets nervous but not exactly like that. Whenever Amy tries to warn me that something bad will happen, I get cocky and fearless to have confidence that nothing bad will happen. But it would often prove to be my weak spot as well.
"I don't sense any danger" EXE said.
"You don't know that for sure" Bloody Rose said.
"Bloody Rose! Your shadow!" EXE screamed at the shadow separating from her.
"YEAHAHAHAHAHA!" An evil laughter was heard.
Bloody Rose collapsed like she fell into a permanent sleep.
"Bloody Rose!" EXE held onto her, "What have you done to her?!" He yelled at the shadow version of Bloody Rose.
"I took her shadow. And she's not dead, just not yet. She's in a deep permanent sleep. Call me Mephiles" The shadowy version of Bloody Rose said.
"You'll pay for this!" EXE roared in anger.
"Oh really?" Mephiles morphed into a complete copy version of Bloody Rose, "What's gonna happen when your kind finds out that you killed Bloody Rose. Soon she'll fade into nothing by the time her shadow makes me stronger" Mephiles said.
"YOU MONSTER!" EXE lunges at Mephiles.
But Mephiles teleports away as EXE was left there in agony from the loss of his love.
"Aaaaahhhhhhhh!" He screamed with rage and sadness.
(End of dream)
I woke up hearing EXE scream. I waited for him to stop screaming so I can talk to him.
"Calm down, EXE! It's just a nightmare" I said
"It's not just a nightmare. It's my memory" EXE said in my head.
"I saw the whole thing and I'm sorry you had to go through that" I said.
"I can't even go back my world. The love of my life is gone, forever. And scepter that imprisoned Mephiles could be anywhere in your world. I don't know how he was exiled" EXE said.
"We might find out tomorrow. My body needs sleep" I said.
"Alright. I'll try not think of the memory again" EXE said as I fell back to sleep.
I can feel he's very stressed out. Okay, maybe a soothing meditation music from my iPhone should help him calm down. Outer space meditation music should do the trick. I put on the headset and played some music to make him calm down while I sleep.
"What are you doing?" EXE asked in my head.
"Trying to help you with music" I said with a yawn.
"Okay. It's worth a shot" EXE started to feel relaxed.
"Outer space is the most calming relaxation of music" I said.
"Mmmmhmmm" EXE sighs in relaxation.
"Are you feeling calm now?" I asked.
"Much better" EXE said.
"Good. Now that you don't have to scream like a girl" I chuckled and went to sleep.
"Hmph!" EXE huffs before sleeping himself.

The next morning, I had a good night sleep. I stretched my arms as I got up and head for the shower and after that I got dressed and had pancakes for breakfast.
"Is this always your morning routine?" EXE asked.
"Usually it is" I said.
"As soon as you're done, we need to keep that diamond so we can collect enough evil spirit energy" EXE said.
"Okay. I guess I have to pretend it's an ordinary glass diamond" I said.
"Some will think it's very valuable. Keep it hidden at all times" EXE said.
"I will EXE" I nodded, finishing my breakfast.
