(Sonic's POV)
This is such a stupid and terrible idea to get myself killed by those psychopaths out there at night but it's the only way for EXE to gather more evil souls in this diamond so that he can get home.
"This is very suicidal, EXE" I said.
"I know but I can heal you. And again, I need your body. So don't have nightmares later on just because I'm scary to kill" EXE said.
"Don't deceive me EXE" I said.
"I'm not. I just wanna get back home and see my dead love. I may not be sure if she's really dead or not" EXE said.
"Fine. Let's go" I said as we go into the dark alleys.
"I must warn you. I kill the living by biting their necks hard or taking their hearts out like before. So which do you want me to do?" EXE asked.
"Do what you choose" I said.
"With pleasure" EXE changed my body again.
"Just remember, there are some people that are homeless in the alleys. So sense the difference" I said.
"Very well. I can sense animal creatures. Your pink lady loves animals. I don't want to scare them. Ah, I sense a criminal and he has the desire of killing" EXE said.
"Alright let's do it" I let EXE take control over me.
He was right, there is a person lurking around to either abduct a female to rape or looking for anyone to kill. I felt him get closer and soon I saw his shadow on the ground.
"Hmmmhmmm. Where could it be babes to do" I heard the man said, playing with his knife.
EXE made us climb up the wall to surprise him from behind, "Oh no you won't" EXE said.
And I'm a swift move, EXE bit him hard in the neck to kill but also covered his mouth prevent him from alarming anyone, "MMMMMPH!" The man screamed muffled but soon became quiet, dying from the bite. His soul came out from his dead body and EXE sucked the soul with the diamond.
"Remember to get rid of the body, EXE" I said in his mind.
"Of course" EXE erased the body from sight.
I took over my body, "Okay, we got one and it's nearly filled up. Perhaps maybe 3 or 4 evil soul energies to fill up" I said.
"Of course. Now get ready" EXE said.
"Hmmm...okay, where would I find criminals or psychopaths in this city? Ah, the location where I found you" I said.
"Yes there" EXE said and took control once more.

We found the cemetery and it was very quiet; I don't like it when it's too quiet.
"I sense they are around here" EXE said.
"Where? It's like they are hiding anywhere" I said.
"They're just trying to make us the target. And I know how to flush them out of hiding" EXE made us sink in the ground like quicksand. But he was swimming through dirt and grass so we could see psychopaths coming out. Then we saw three men having mutilated a dead body in the grass.
"How sickos can they be?" I asked.
"I don't know but they are mine" EXE said made ourselves rise up from the ground to reveal himself.
"What the hell is that thing?!" The men saw EXE and fired at us.
I was scared in his mind but EXE was bulletproof and the bullets didn't penetrate him. He grabs one of them and bites his head off and spits it out before backhanding the other two hard. He shoves his clawed hand in the guy's chest and took out his heart.
"Yessss" EXE grins and ate the heart before turning to the last guy, blood dripping from the teeth, "And now get ready to be sinned!" EXE jumps and slashed his throat.
With three dead, their souls came out of the dead bodies and got sucked into the diamond making it complete. Well, nearly. I'm guessing we need one more soul.
"We need one more soul. And I can sense someone hiding is a coward but still a psycho" EXE said.
"I'm guessing that's their leader" I said.
"Yes" EXE moved quietly to find the leader.
"Hello? Guys where are you?!" Their leader called for them.
"Looking for your boys?" EXE said with a dark voice.
"What the fuck are you?" The leader asked.
"I am EXE" EXE grins.
"You're a creepy alien!" The leader tried to run but EXE stretched his arm to grab him, pulling him to us.
"No have mercy!" He stammered.
"Mercy?! After what you have killed you deserve no mercy!" EXE pulled him close and shoved his clawed hand in the guy's chest and pulled his heart out.
After throwing the body aside he ate the heart. Oh, god it makes me sick when he does that. The soul came out of the dead body and EXE absorbed it with the diamond, making it completely black.
"Yes! At last!" EXE said and held it up.
"Uh, EXE? Are you forgetting something?" I moved my arm pointing at the bodies.
"Of course" He erased the bodies.
"So what happens now?" I asked.
"Now it just needs to create a portal to my world and we go in. Hopefully it helps bring my real body back" EXE said and the black diamond used the energy to create a portal to his world.
We jumped in the portal that leads us to a river of blood.
"Finally, my home" EXE came out of my body and swims in the river of blood.
"EXE? What are you doing?!" I panicked that he drowned but then I saw him rising up with his own body like mine but with his real eyes and teeth.
"Regaining my body, Sonic. You're free now" Sonic EXE said.
"You look like me? That's the real you?" I asked.
"Yes, that's how I look like" EXE said.
"So that's why no other host could take you? You didn't find a match?" I said.
"Yes. I was desperate for centuries finding a body that matches my appearance" EXE said.
"At least you found me earlier and I helped you get home. So what are we doing here?" I asked.
"I need to find my lover. I don't know if she's dead or not. Ever since my people exiled me, I don't know if Mephiles is exiled too. My memories are scrambled up from my imprisonment. And I need your help since you're the ghost hunting expert" EXE said.
"Okay, but you should protect from any harm. I don't know much about your world and I don't think your world will accept me here" I said.
"That's true so you better come with me" EXE said.
"I have to admit, you being inside me was...well...teamwork. You saved me from nearly getting killed" I said.
"No problem" EXE said.
We found the temple that was one of EXE's memories from the dream, "This is it. Time to find Bloody Rose" EXE said as we walked up the stairs.
"Tell me this place has deadly booby traps. If your enemy friend is in there, he would kill us all" I said.
"It doesn't. But what I think, Mephiles was probably not exiled or concealed in the scepter. I don't know what happened to it. Maybe it's not in your world or maybe it was rumor" EXE said and opened the door for us to get inside.
"Look, there's a crypt. It's not like from the dream" I said and walked up to the crypt, "Help me lift the lid"
EXE lifted the lid with me and there was Bloody Rose laying there. She looked...nearly faded but I can see her breathing lightly like she's alive but in a deep permanent sleep.
"Bloody Rose?" EXE gasped.
I checked the pulse on her wrist and she had one, "She's alive but she's not dead. She's...sleeping for eternity?" I said with confusion.
"Mephiles has her shadow form. She's nearly fading away into nothing. If we don't get her shadow form back, she'll die. I can't lose her again" EXE held her faded body close.
"We'll get her back, EXE. You just gotta remember where Mephiles is. If we find him, we find her shadow form" I said.
"Mephiles takes the form of his victim's shadow. If we find him as her, we find him. He's probably ruling my world now" EXE holding Bloody Rose close to him, "Bloody Rose. You have no idea how much I miss you" He gently puts her down and kissed her forehead.
I saw her hand twitching for a few seconds when EXE kissed her forehead, "Wait. Her hand twitched. I think...a kiss would wake her up. You gotta kiss her. Maybe that will wake her up and bring her shadow form back. That will lure Mephiles here" I said with confidence.
EXE just stares for a moment at me, "It's worth a try" EXE held her close and kissed her on the lips.
When that happened, there was a black blob shape moving fast on the floor and it connected with Bloody Rose, returning back to its regular normal shadow of her. As the kiss ended, we see her stirring a little and opening her eyes slowly.
"EXE?" She looks at EXE.
"Yes, it's me my beloved Rose" EXE said, caressing her cheek.
"I thought I died" Bloody Rose said.
"I thought you were dead too. Mephiles stole your shadow and put you an eternal sleep" EXE said.
"Oh EXE, if only we didn't come here" Bloody Rose said.
"That was totally my fault. I put you in danger. I should've listened to you" EXE said and hugged her dearly.
I watched the two embrace and shed a tear. A blood tear which seems weird for what they are, "So, now what?" I wondered.
"We wait for Mephiles to come. If Bloody Rose's shadow form is disconnected with him, he'll find out why by coming here. Take my love away from here. I cannot let Mephiles find her" EXE handed Bloody Rose to me.
"Very well EXE. Come Bloody Rose" I got out with her from the temple.
