Happy Cinco de Mayo!

(EXE's POV)

That ugly son of a bitch is so gonna pay for framing me! And nearly killing my love. I don't want to avenge my love and bring justice! I hope the people will believe who the real liar is.

I hear Mephiles coming in a black and purplish smoke through the door. About time! What took him so long?

"Hello there EXE" He said as soon he took on a crystal-like form.

"Mephiles, I thought they exiled you too" I glared.

"Oh, I had someone to help me from being banished. It's been so long to finally see you. And I see you found your lover not dead" Mephiles cackled.

"You'll pay what you did to her!" I yelled and ran at him.

I can't even touch him physically because of that damn smoke but his crystallized form, I can break them like glass.

"Feeling revenge now?" He taunted me.

"JUSTICE!" I yelled and used levitation on the ancient temple stone blocks to crush him. No matter how many times he can dodge or go through them.

"THEN YOU PERISH!" Mephiles fires a purple beam at me but missed.

I then leaped onto him and punched him in the eye, "Agh!" He cringed from the punch.

Then I threw him at the pillars, shattering them upon impact, "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME! AND I'M GONNA MAKE SURE YOU DIE IN VAIN!" I screamed in rage.

"YOU DIE FIRST!" Mephiles shouted.

He then causes darkness to form around him and fires several beams at me violently. I made myself a phasing matter for it to go through me.

"I'm a god, Mephiles! I can't die!" I made myself sink on the floor to find a way to reach his crystallized heart inside him but he's too fast and hard to keep him still.

He teleports and dashed at me at the ground and then down the temple, "And I can't die either! No one has ever tried!" Mephiles said and tried to tackle me but I punched him hard.

"We shall see!" I got up and bared my claws.

"You think those jazz claw hands are gonna scare me?" He mocked me.

I ran and slashed him across his chest and then at his cheek, "You underestimate me Mephiles!"

Mephiles then tries to strike me down again when I grabbed a nearby spike and shoved it into his eye, "AAAAAAAAAAAAGGH!" He pulls it out bleeding orange blood.

"My jazz hands are built to kill you!" I said.

"AGGH! You are far worse than I thought!" Mephiles growled, but I couldn't tell since he has no mouth.

"For a being you got nothing to say without your ugly mouth" I tried to reach his chest but he's moving around too much.

"Not this time!" He fires at me.

I dodged it and tried to reach his chest but he's still moving around too much like a sprinter.

"Don't try it!" Mephiles said angrily.

"Stay still!" I tried to sprint like him but he's too powerful and strong.

Then he grabs me by the throat and began strangling me, "I should have made sure your powers were removed" Mephiles said.

Just then, I saw Sonic with a machete blade and jumped up to chop Mephiles' wrist that was strangling me. In one swop he severed Mephiles' hand, releasing me.

"DON'T TOUCH MY BUDDY!" Sonic snarled.

"My love!" Bloody Rose was also here too.

"You brought this mortal and your girl here?" Mephiles glared at the two.

"No, we came here to stop you from killing him!" Sonic glared.

"So you choose your destiny!" Mephiles held out his remaining hand ready to kill Sonic and Bloody Rose.

"No!" I tackled Mephiles to keep him away from them.

"I won't let you kill the ones that I care!" I said.

"I won't stop until you fall!" Mephiles struggled.

"No, you are the one that will fall!" I reached his chest.

"AAGH!" Mephiles felt a sharp pain when I managed to grab it and then I shoved my hand into it.

"This is justice!" I pulled his crystallized heart out.

Mephiles stood still and fell over once I crushed his heart. I panted in exhaustion from the fight and looked at Sonic and Bloody Rose.

(Sonic's POV)

Right after EXE killed Mephiles, he looked exhausted from the fight. He probably needs blood to regain his strength. The blood river that gave him back his real body.

"Get up" I helped him on his feet.

"I need a bloody vacation" He said tiredly.

"You need blood" I said.

"Yes, to regain my strength" EXE said.

"My love, let us help you. I don't want to lose you again like you lost me" Bloody Rose helped him too.

We carried him to the river and we put him into the blood. He slowly sank into the blood and then rises up again moments later.

"Thanks guys. I feel much better. My god, fighting and killing Mephiles was very challenging" EXE said.

"You're welcome EXE" I replied.

"You freed me, brought me home, saved my love, and saved my life" He hugged me, getting blood on my fur.

"Um, I didn't know you're a bloody hugger but I'm happy that I got you home" I said, though uncomfortable to hug his body covered in blood.

"I should thank you for all this Sonic the Hedgehog" EXE said.

"Thanks. And for helping you get your love back" I said.

"EXE, don't ever scare me again. I can't bear to lose you again" Bloody Rose hugged him too.

"I won't leave you this time" EXE hugged her close.

"So, I can live without killing anyone in my world now?" I interrupted them.

"Well, there is one thing since if you went back to your world" EXE does his god-like magic, creature g a bracelet with a ruby on it.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Say like this is to summon me if you ever become in danger by evil spirits, I can take over your body and suck souls" He hands it to me.

"Um thanks" I was hesitant but put it on my wrist.

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna take over your body permanently and don't be a baby that you're afraid that I kill psychopaths in your place" EXE rolled his red glowing eyes.

"How does this work?" I asked.

"Simple, it will sense danger and it will summon me to your world and I take control of your body" EXE said.

"Ok then. Now I gotta go see Amy" I said.

"Agreed. And thanks for bringing me home. Now here's your home world" EXE held out his hand to create a portal.

"Thank you so much" I waved and went in the portal.
