The sound of rain was heard in the middle of the night. But that didn't stop the young princess from finishing what she had to do. She sat alone, in the library, reading books on top of books. She was trying to find a family background book, something that could give her answers. Who knew why that was so hard to find in the damn library, but it was. Seraphina groaned, grunted, screamed and complained, not able to find a book. She kicked the book shelve hard, causing books to fall out and over. The princess watched as different books fell, but one caught her eyes. A glowing golden book with no title. 'Where have I seen you before?'

Sera dropped down, touching the book. It felt so familiar, it smelled so familiar. But what was it? Sera sat down on the floor, opening the glowing book. Inside she saw bloodlines, royal history, biographies, and everything she needed. 'Gotcha.' She smiled to herself knowing she was going to find out the truth once and for all. Sera skipped through some pages, reading about Odin who is the father of Thor and adoptive father of...Loki? 'What? this cannot be right?' Sera glance at Thor's page quickly, skipping right over to Loki's. 'Why would he not tell me that he was my adopted uncle?'

'Loki, the trickster god, the god of mischief and lies..''Loki, adoptive son of Odin..' 'Thought to be the rightful king of Asgard..' 'Thought he was the real son of Odin..' 'Attacked Midgard...' "So that is where I have seen you before..." 'Father of Hela, Selpnir, Seraphina-'

"No." She whispered. "God, no." She couldn't stop, she had to read on. She saw a big headline on his page that said "Loss of a daughter!" 'Loki's wife at the time, Seraphina's mother, betrayed Asgard and her husband. She had fallen in love with a mortal, revealed Asgardian war plans, and killed several guards. So disgusted with herself, she killed herself and possibly killed the princess. Loki sent out men, animals, practically most of Asgard to look for his lost daughter. The daughter's powers were much more powerful than expected, then searches have stopped. Tons hoping that the princess and her power would be dead.'

Once the princess finished reading that line, the book shut itself and disappeared. "Lying sacks of Shit!" She screamed, trying to calm herself down. "How could they...They promised...I thought...Oh God, please tell me this is some sick joke."

"Seraphina?" Loki knocked on her door, walking in. The princess slept in her bed, hair still wet from a late shower. "Princess?" He slightly shook his beautiful daughter. Her eyes opened and he saw such hurt in her eyes. She hid it quickly and rubbed her face.

"What are you doing here so early?" She sounded annoyed. Loki only thinking it was because she was grumpy. It amused him to see her in the morning like that, like a typical Asgardian adolescence.

"We were supposed to go to the city today, but I am here to cancel."

"And why is that? Something more important came up?" 'More like something more important has been coming up for the past 15 years.'

"No, the King has requested me to do a favor. I thought since I cannot take you then we should have breakfast."

"Oh, ok," Seraphina said, getting up. She was in Midgardian sleepwear. She walked to her closet and put on a pair of big fluffy slippers. "Are we going or am I just going to stand here?" She snapped, then sighed to herself. 'Was something wrong?' Loki thought, then nodded to the girl. They left the bedroom, going to get some breakfast together.

"Are you alright?"

"Oh just grand." Sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"What is bothering you?"

"Nothing, I'm just grumpy."

"Stop lying." He said, making Seraphina realize that he was the god of mischief and lies. 'Think, think.'

"It's Gustavo." She said half truthfully, knowing Loki won't detect a thing. Just hearing the boy's name made Loki's blood boil.

"What has he done?"

"Last night when you all left, he showed up. I don't know how or why, but he kept on trying to somewhat regain what me and him had...He brought up memories and I just..I don't want to talk about it."

"I will make sure he never comes by the palace-"

"No, Loki...Just leave it alone. Gus catches on quick, he'll know when he is not wanted." She said, making Loki nod. "Loki, I have a question."

"What is it?"

"How come you are very formal with Odin. You and Thor are close so why? You do not seem very formal with Frigga." Seraphina almost wanted to smirk to herself in victory. That question caught Loki by surprise, not realizing she had noticed his behavior to Odin. She read his biography, she knew most about him.

"The king and I have never got along."

"Hmm..problems with your father and him?" 'Your father being Laufey, a damn frost giant.'

"They were close, but things happen."

"Hmmm.. and why do the maids and guards just call you Loki? I mean if you are my grandfather's brother's son, then wouldn't you be Prince Loki?"

"Where did all these questions come from?"

"I just noticed it."

"Have you gotten any sleep last night?" He questioned, noticing her tired features and trying to change the topic. The princess didn't care because she was winning at the game.

"Nope," she answered, sounding lightly angry. "You?"

"I got quite some sleep."

"Hmm... Loki, how old are you?"

"What?"

"How old are you? Are you the same age as Thor?"

"Yes, around that."

"How come you have no kids though? Aren't you guys like old or something?" That made Loki chuckle but he was suspicious with her questions.

"Why do you ask?"

"Well, I don't know. Just wanted to know more about you." That wasn't a lie, he wouldn't be able to detect it. When Loki heard that he couldn't help but smile. 'She was interested in me?'

"I have a daughter named Hela, She rules over the underworld... I was just becoming an adult when she was born. I had two sons, and just about that." He spoke, not wanting to mention the Snake and Horse he had as well. Seraphina knew about them, though. She had a feeling he wasn't going to mention that to her, anyways. 'So he had another daughter that he loved and kept?'

"Are you close with your children? My cousins? I never met them."

"Uhhh...No...I have decent relations with them. We love each other, of course, but we are not that close." 'Maybe it's because you're a shit father. '

"Hmm." She said, sounding like she lost interest.

"Are you sure that Gustavo did-"

"I'm fine and that's it." She snapped. "Loki, I'm not all that hungry and I am quite tired. So excuse me, I am going to bed." She added quickly, turning her heel and leaving. Loki knew instantly that something was wrong. Did she need some sleep? Was it a female problem? Has Gustavo really hurt her? What was going on with her?

"Loki, the king requests you." Loki heard a guard call to him and he nodded.

"May you tell the Queen to check on the princess?"

"Yes, sir."

"Lying sacks of shits!" She yelled, locking herself in the bathroom. " They didn't want me..How could I be so stupid?" She cried hysterically. "He is a monster!"

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Seraphina, darling, are you in there?" She heard Frigga's worried voice. Sera shook her head, feeling even more hurt if Frigga didn't want her. Frigga claimed she loved her, this is all wrong. "Honey, are you alright?"

"I'm fine," Her voice cracked. "I just threw up, I'll be okay!"

"Do you want me to come in there?"

"No, please leave." She cleared her throat. "I'll come to breakfast in five minutes." Frigga sighed and nodded to herself, then left the room. Leaving Seraphina to the emptiness that she felt continuously. Leaving her to her self destruction. Leaving her in her horrid path.

*BEEP BEEP*

Her bracelet rang, making her look down. Tony was calling her. Did he know the truth? Or was he just following orders? She sighed, putting the call on audio instead of video. "Hey, Tony." She whispered.

"Hey, short stack, how's Asgard?"

"Sucks." She replied simply. "I want to go home. "

"How's training going?"

"Better."

"Then soon you could come back home or you could visit! Maybe when we get in touch with Thor he could take us with him." Tony cheered, hearing the sadness in her voice. It will never happen Tony knew that they would never go there but he was trying to make her smile. 'Did she really hate it there?'

"Imagine Steve here?" She chuckled, making him laugh. Tony knew something wasn't right, she sounded angry. During the call, Sera couldn't help but think that they all knew who her father was. They all knew she was related to a monster. A murderer.

"Oh please, don't get me started." He laughed. "Are you okay? You don't sound too good."

"Yeah, I just miss home. I miss you guys. I don't like it here."

"Just wait a bit and you'll be here in no time, okay?"

"Yeah...Tony, I have to go, training is soon. I'll call you tonight or tomorrow?"

"Yeah sweetheart, have fun. Kick some ass."

"Of course." She said hanging up. She felt a horrid ache in her chest, a turn in her stomach, a pain in her head, and a big blob of emptiness. She felt like dying, she never felt so unwanted before in her life or sickened with herself.

"Brother, what is wrong?" Thor asked Loki, walking into his room. Frigga had spoken to Thor, saying Loki wished to speak with him. Which was great, he wanted his little brother back. And he saw that he was coming a long way. A long way for Sera.

"It is about Sera." Loki rubbed his face.

"What about her?" Thor asked, walking slightly closer to his brother.

"Sera has not shown up for any training session today, mine or Sif's. I saw her in the morning and she was quite angry. I talked to Halvar and he said that he has not seen Seraphina all day. Has Magni seen her?"

"I do not believe so, I forced him to train...What was she angry about?"

"I am not aware of what. She did mention something with that Gustavo boy."

"That boy is trouble."

"It would seem so." Loki sighed, "Mother said she was throwing up all morning."

"I thought she did not eat? "

"She didn't," Loki spoke, making Thor sigh. "She seemed very angry and nasty this morning.."

"It could just be nothing, you may be overthinking it."

"That could be true.." Loki thought, and Thor chuckled.

"Come on, I have something to show you."

Sera stood on top of the highest tower in the palace. The cool breeze didn't bother, she just let the tears flow down her cheeks. 'They wanted me dead. Dead. What have I ever done? I was merely a child. But now it all makes sense! The lullaby, the memories...but why lie? Why?'

"It's dangerous up here." She heard Magni's voice. She remembers him warning her...But not telling her.

"What the hell do you want?" She snapped.

"Woah the all-loving princess is angry today. "

"Leave me the fuck alone."

"Who knew you could have such a vulgar mouth."

"I grew up on Eart-Midgard, of course, I have a vulgar mouth."

"What makes you angry?"

"Everything, now leave."

"What happened? My father and Loki have been looking for you."

"Tell them to stop searching." She nearly screamed. "Magni, if you do not leave I will throw you off this fucking piece of shit tower."

"If my father hears you speak like this be will go-"

"I do not care! Do you hear that! I do not give a flying shit about Thor, or Asgard, or anyone. I especially do not care about Loki!"

"Ah, so it was Loki... What did he do?"

"Leave me alone."

"No."

"Magni, leave. "

"No, What-"

"I SAID LEAVE!" She snapped, ice covering the whole roof of the tower. Sera gave a loud sigh and sat down on the ice. Anger was all she was feeling right now.

"What is going-"

"Magni, I will tell you later just please leave me the fucking hell alone."

"Yes, Princess." He mocked, "Tell me when you feel like giving a damn about someone!" He wanted her to trust him, but she didn't want to trust anyone. If this was a different situation she would be singing the lullaby to herself...But now she couldn't even. She felt too betrayed. All her life she's been beaten, rejected, hurt, unloved, and just unwanted. She has been drugged, she's been locked up for crying out loud. She thought for once, just once she had people who cared about her. The avengers showed her love, they showed her how to have fun. Then she had a family! A bloody family! An uncle who apparently loved her! Grandparents! ALL A LIE. A lie! ' No one loves me! I'm a fucking waste.' Sera sobbed to herself, feeling more alone than she ever had before. 'And on top of that, I am related to the worse man in the universe.'

HEYYY GUYS! I miss you guys! Sorry midterms have me ripping my hair out omgosh, it's crazy! But I cannot wait till it's all over:) I hope everything is going good for you guys.
